Everyone quit due to the balance changes, or the lack of. We played the same boring specs vs the same boring specs for at least 6 months. And we wait eagerly for a balance patch, and nothing changes at all.

Its like a kid at christmas gets super excited about whats to come because he never gets given anything except at christmas.

Then for christmas he gets literally nothing. It makes people demoralised and give up on the game.

I wouldn’t mind the return of some amulets, but definitely not all of them by a long shot.

Merc was introduced when a lot of other decent amulets already were removed. I doubt it will be that powerful again when older amulets (such as settlers and soldiers) will be introduced again. I’d rather have them put every amulet back than doing nothing. We have so many amulets that are totally useless right now, it is pretty hysterical and illustrative for the lack of vision in the PvP team. Adding some amulets is step 1, nerfing a lot of traits/utilities to reduce the OPness of certain amulets would be step 2. Build diversity is not a myth, it has been made a myth by Anet.

It doesn’t matter what the name of the amulet is, if you add in cancerous stat combinations you are going to have LESS fun overall. There was a reason they were removed. I wouldn’t advocate for adding Celestial back into the mix, unless you enjoy every game going to timer.

Celestial shouldnt come back, too many raw stats. All the others are fine.

More build diversity but a lot less fun/interesting

There won’t be any more diversity. People forget that when builds come into meta, they typically push other builds out of the meta.

This fantasy that some people have about diversity is nothing but a myth grounded in a total misunderstanding about how the meta works.

I am not talking about the meta dude. I am talking about options. More options = more fun. I dont care what the meta is like, and nobody should seen as this game has no esports scene. You are proving my point. The meta doesnt matter. Fun matters. Options matter. You cannot play a tanky necro atm because of no amulets. Would it be good or meta? NO. I say it again: NO. But it would be fun to play around with and have some FUN. Gasp The meta doesnt matter.

The meta would change. Whatever, I dont care. I could play an off-meta build and not insta die.

And I dont think people enjoy non-tanky amulets because you just insta die in this meta. Let people run around and have fun with their sustain specs if they want to give up dps for it.

Only reason they removed the amulets was to make their failed esports better to watch. It failed anyway. So lets get some fun back in the back. Sentinal amulet please come back.

This is one of the MANY benefits we can get now esports is no longer killing this game.

Edit: and it shouldnt be unranked and hotjoin only. That is a ton of extra coding work to enforce and its pointless anyway. let people play ranked with their bunker guardian if they want to.

That isn’t how it works. If you bring back all of the removed amulets then all you do is invite stronger builds back to dominate the meta again, and those builds end up being the only build you can play competitively. You’ve traded one set of singular builds for another.

No usually most classes have a dps and a bunker spec this way. There will always be a best best ofc but this way there will be more builds to play that are at least reasonable.

Me and others told them 3 years ago that you can’t just “make” a game esports. You have to make a fun game to watch and play and then people will play it and it grows organically.

Gw2 esports was in a coma its entire existence, supported by massive funding from anet. It never got out of the coma as anet just had it on life support.

Anets esports was a total failure. All it did was give a few players a modest amount of money. Most of those players dropped out of school/work to pursue gw2 esports (terrible decision) so they are probably net worse off than before.

Everyone lost. Anet lost. The esports pros lost (most of them). And we lost, the players.

Oh it happens. Profession stacking happens but it doesnt matter at all. Games are decided by skill and team work not comps, pretty much always.

Making the system stop against profession stacking will just lead to less balanced match ups. Its a zero sum game. If you have restrictions against profession stacking then you will get worse matchmaking in terms of skill.

The quality of games will go down as a result.

It is hilarious to me. Profession stacking is not a factor in almost every game played. The fact people think it is shows how bad they are. The fact anet listens to bad people on the forums shows how bad their dev process is.

My reasons:

Pace of combat: HoT Powercreep RUINED the flow of combat. GW2 used to have a slower-paced combat, and timing important dodges and skills was how you won. Nowadays, most builds can just chain hard defenses for an absurd period of time, and follow it up with short-CD bursts, that intelligent skill usage isn’t all that important because you can just try again in 5s if you miss. To make matters worse, every build was given so much passive and hard mitigation that stats barely impact defense on most classes. Too many invulns, passives, and auto-procs make combat terrible. Remember when condi builds slowly won battles of attrition by building large stacks of damage then smartly covering them, and opponents had a limited set of cleanses that they had to time intelligently to combat it? Remember when strong defenses like blocks and invulns had REALLY long CD’s, so people didn’t just stack as many “ignore what my opponent is doing for Xs” skills? Remember when burst builds had to land important skills, and people counted dodges in order to get them off? Nowadays, its just all spam.

Balance: While balance is decent from the perspective of every class being playable in some build, balance is truly terrible in the terms of team compositions/roles. Remember when Anet designed with the concept of “roles and holes,” where any build had specific things it could do and specific things it was weak against (or they at least tried). Now, every viable build does just about everything, with only a few classes really having true weaknesses (necros to focus, revs to condi).

Build diversity: HoT power-creep made it such that every class only has builds that synergize with the elite spec, and other builds are SO MUCH worse that its laughable when someone brings them. Before HoT, off-meta builds had more weaknesses than meta builds, but also had very specific strengths that enabled them to succeed and win thanks to unfamiliarity. Usually off-meta builds that you fought could often win the first 1-2 encounters, and then the fight might even if you were able to figure out what they were packing and how you could play around it. With HoT, off-meta builds are just hilariously underpowered and I don’t even care to figure out what they build is packing…it just dies because it can’t spam defense forever followed up with high damage on a short CD.

Perfectly said. However, much of the power creep was introduced in the trait merge patch before HOT. That is when the game lost its skill. Glad to see people finally realising power creep ruined the game though. I said it a few days after the trait-merge patch. Incidentally that is when i quit for good (before HOT).

Power creep doesn’t even do justice to the trait merge patch. We got more traits to take as we took 3 full lines. In addition, the ill advised merging of all the traits meant that character power increases that previously took 4 traits (in some cases) could then be achieved with a single trait.

Its hilarious that when the queue pops almost 5 years since the game released and we have 4 of the 5 maps having been in the game since 2012! They have made 1 competitive map in 5 years.

That is a fact and a depressing one.

Nobody plays because the rewards suck. Remember when anet got all excited about their pvp increase? It was purely pve players managing to grind pvp to get rewards. They didn’t enjoy it because it is terrible on so many levels.

Nobody is going to play this games pvp for fun. It is too bad. They must make rewards greater than pve for the player base to recover again, of course this still means pvp will be bad so whatever lol

I didnt play HOT at all before last season. I didn’t know any of the skills or traits of other classes. And yet I still got legend which proves how skill-less the game is.

So I literally knew nothing about the game, didnt try hard, just spammed a roation whilst looking at my keyboard and GOT LEGEND. lolz.

Sustain nerf news?

This will never ever happen. Trust me, I have seen this game’s development for 3 years.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to meaningfully nerf sustain for pvp because it has too many pve implications.

Will they really nerf mesmer f5? Will they really nerf how many dodges thief has? Will they really nerf warriors healing and immunity uptime? Engineer regen? Thief OP heal skills?

It just cannot happen.

Their best bet is to nerf protection and regen honestly as the amount of regen in the game is absurd. This could be done in pvp only. Most important would be nerfing regen to nerf sustain. It could be made about half as effective as it currently is.

1.Most Pro league evacuated cause there is no end game for them and they have no opportunity to play 5 premade.

2.Those from Pro league that stayed are just bored. They que, it’s always a blowout, they win, that’s all.

3. Those who wanted to improve to compete with these guys are now alone with nothing to aspire so they left too.

4. Anet failed with following with hype of season 5. Grouchoru, a lot pvp veterans back to game, everybody wants to improve to get as high as they can…Generally anet has communication problem with it’s pvp community. Even on official gw 2 twitch nobody give a dam about pvp…like come on guys give us an answer to why we should play this game, give us some future perspective? And no – whole sigil talk is good thing but won’t make people hyped for future season x. When new expansion will show up, there won’t be anybody left.

5.Last balance update was a failure in giving something fresh to almost 1 year old meta so games became so booooooring and predicable. Oh yeah there was a rev tablet buff…oh nobody cares.

6. Pvp lost people from pve thanks to ascended vendors change . Legendary back worth completely devaluated over time (is there somebody that doesn’t have it after 6 seasons?!) Like why there is no new legendary for and new ranked achievement’s? PvP guys who wanted to try pve also kinda lost…

I will speak for myself.

I came back after 18 months for season 5. It was moderately fun to play repear for the first time (I got legend which shows how braindead HOT is and how all the try hards quit- after not playing for 18 months and barely much before that).

I obviously quit during the offseason (lol offseasons when the seasons mean nothing is hilarious). So then I thought “cool, the meta will change alot with this balance patch”.

Unfortunately the balance patch was aimed exclusively at pve with some pvp changes from anet devs duelling on keep on forest.

So a condi repear is still the same spec as before. Nothing changed. No new options. Just the same old boring stuff. Still no fix to the death magic line or sustain traits such as unholy sanctuary which underperform seriously.

On other classes it was the same. All the specs were the same. Sick of getting immobed for days by rangers and dying to pets? yup still a thing. Sick of getting headshot spammed by thieves and dying to PI? Yup, still a thing. Sick of mesmers having so much sustain and damage? Yup, still a thing. I could go on forever.

So its boring to fight with the same spec against the same spec. In particular this is a problem because no spec in the game has any counterplay because of their design failings. So you just burn out of fighting the same builds over and over. The balance patch I thought would shake things up but it didnt.

The actual pvp population is probably around 200 players on eu. That is people who pvp for “fun” and not for rewards or dailies. The rest are simply there to grind for pve. The game’s pvp is dead.

Sigil Proposals

This is more crazy buffs to thieves, mesmer and evasion in general. Which is already too strong. So you actually remove counterplay with these changes. Really this isn’t complicated so I am shocked you guys cannot see these issues.

When doing design you need to consider unintended consequences. I mean, no doubt these changes will happen and make the game way worse. So whatever.

To break it down for those who do not understand:
1, Currently there is a ton of damage avoidance with no counter play such as zerker stance, endure pain, mesmer distoration spam, blurred frenzy, thieves with 9 dodges in a row.
2, The only thing barely keeping this stuff in check is uncounterable damage, which a huge part of is hydro and geomancy sigils.
3, The only time you can actually damage a thief or mesmer as a condi necro is to do some sort of weapon swap on them because its instant. Even then you need luck.

Changing things in this way without changing the amount of evade spam in the game is just awful and disrupts balance considerably.

*If you made these changes with sustain nerfs then that would actually help the game to not suck completely. But I have no faith in the ability of anet to do sustain nerfs lol. *

The fact they are considering these changes shows pvp is dead and they are panicking. When you remove all the pve rewards nobody will play because NOBODY plays pvp for fun. Because it sucks and is not fun.

So i assume youre a software programmer urself then? im also fast when it comes to thinking about what to change but im just too uninformed to blame them for that long timeperiod when i dont even know how long it takes to implement such changes.

Somehow I think MMORPG balance is a little bit more complicated than FPS games.

Somehow i think you missed my point. This one apply to pretty much all games. They havent added new skill/animation or whatever. All they did was changing values in sheets, nothing else whatsoever so please dont give me this crap when mobas balance the game every 2 weeks with one huge major for each new season. Youre not going to balance this game by any means at current pace. By the time you get a new build (without mentioning many possible builds) it will be year 5352 or so with current “balance” team. They havent even addressed major issues. GG another 3 months of waiting for nothing? And some people wonder why Anet revenue is so low and why gw2 is dying.

Well said. No new specs for another 3 months at least. How boring and dull. Not even no new specs, but no new trait lines! Still there are 2/3 trait lines on each class which are mandatory because they are so much better.

massive power creep and high volatility in build performance has been the only constant reoccuring since the “big” “3 grandmaster trait” patch.
clearly the developers are not instructed to bind players to the pvp part of this game. since its much easyer to lure simpletons with loot, dragons and lesbian love stories to spend money for skins and hair dyes in a never ending fashion contest.

back to the topic:
if any class/skill is or was balanced, then mostly due to reddit whiners or personal interest of individuals of anet staff. as for now it is clear for us that there is not a soul in their ranks who understands the Necromancer profession. if there was one, they would have done more about the dormant majority of their skills and traits a long time ago (most of which are beyond uselessness in all game modes).
so it is ours to see and understand that there is no intention from the developer’s side to meet the basic needs of a pvp oriented player base, they rather mock them and scare away with enormous efforts put in pve content.

ps: i heared some lonely souls still waste their lives trying to play wvw, may their gods bless them

pps: the ascended gear aquisition change is the perfect example how they value pvp players.

Everyone at anet plays warrior or engi. Hence why they often get changes that make sense. Necro has had flawed trait synergy since release and it never changes. Look how bad core death shroud is still, no excuse for that after 2 years of HOT. Then you have traits like soul comprehension which just ruin entire trait lines. Then traits like unholy martyr and unholy sanctuary which are just too bad to use. Some of these could even be changed by simple number tweaks they are incapable of doing it because…..nobody knows why.

Seriously, they don’t have much time more.
Balance the game and introduce new expansion pack to save this game. That’s all they can do now….

They won’t. They will simply make 4/5 minor changes to each class. Probably generally changing the cooldown and numbers on a bunch of underused skills and nerfing a couple of clearly OP things across the whole game.

Basically it will be changes that could have been done in about 2 weeks but instead took them 4 months.

Necro will receive no significant changes. Its been 6 months since necro got balanced so it will be funny to see their 6 months of work.

There are dozens of required changes for core necro to improve it, but we all know what will happen.

they will buff 5 useless skills to be better. No changes to the misplaced traits or to the lack of life force generation on certain weapon sets. And no change to necro core shroud to make it competitive with repear shroud. And thats it. 6 months of work changing the cooldown of a few skills.

Denial Esports moving on from GW2

Not practical at all to try and move an entire roster to a new game. Inevitably there will be some of them who will lag behind the others and so it is not sustainable.

Just goes to show though…all this giving out money to the very small minority of Esports people for their tournaments achieved nothing. These people will just leave the game as soon as they do not get money for it. So anet have failed massively with their approach to this game. That 200k from the world championships should have been spread out over years to support esports. And then let it grow organically. Instead their tournament did nothing at all. No help for the game at all. Imagine you run a business and invest 200k and then nothing after. Why bother? They should have regularly run tournaments with small prize pools for years with that money. gg anet.

gl to helseth though, he made a good choice to leave gw2, which is just a frustrating game on so many levels. Also good to see him recognise how toxic he was in the past.

Hopefully if esports is dead then we can get some fun 2v2 or 3v3 game modes at last.

Duo Q MUST GO for Season 6

Here is the reality:

1, Very few people with high MMRs EVER solo queue.

Let’s go with this being true for now.

2, As a result there are fewer high MMR people at all times so matches are worse

How does this make sense? Explain how you went from the majority of high MMR being duo queue, to making fewer high MMR people? I assume you must mean that there were fewer high MMR Solo Queuers, this is probably what you meant. Even if this were the case, duo queuers would still be queuing at high MMR…

Because the high MMR people sit in the HOTM waiting for their friend to get online so they can duo queue. So duo queue leads to population issues.

3, These duo queues get put into games with them 2 (mmr 2100 each) and 8 solo players with 1800. It is impossible to make a fair match out of these 10 players

Or 4 sets of high MMR with a single low solo on both sides, doesn’t matter.
It does matter because duo queue factually reduces the flexibility the matchmaker has. If you have 10 people and they have to be arranged in 2 5 man groups then there are more possibilities than if 2 of those 10 people have to be on the same team. In the second case you will often never get a good match up due to the restrictions the duo queue puts on the matchmaker

You know what the real issue is? SPvP population is extremely low, we are seeing bad matchmaking all around regardless of the solo and duo queue scenario because the pool is so low. The matchmaking wouldn’t have so many issues if it could pull more solo queuers at high MMR at all times, but since there are so few players it has to pick from Plats or even Golds (NA wise).
Duo queue seriously damages the population issues at high MMR, that was my point.

Which is why it’s smarter to give an artificial disadvantage like making the duo queuers earn less rating and lose more rating, face them against harder opponents without better gains, etc. Killing off Duo queue will make the matchmaking even WORSE thanks to the population issues.

Increasing the population across the board and developing SPvP player talents so that there is a naturally higher pool of good players at high MMR will most of the issues we see now. Converting some of the PvE players, of which there is an unimaginable amount by comparision to SPvP or WvW, helps. Creating a competitive environment for ESports-Twitch players in different games to try out GW2 can serve to improve our situation now.

Obviously increasing the population would help. But duo queue does the opposite at high MMR. I played there all season. My MMR is 1955. I am telling you how it is.

Duo Que should stay for fun, but there should be calculations in mmr that punish it a little for the combined ‘bonus’ mmr.

It wouldn’t matter at all. Even if you tried to give these duo queues harder matches it would never happen.

Here is the reality:

1, Very few people with high MMRs EVER solo queue.
2, As a result there are fewer high MMR people at all times so matches are worse
3, These duo queues get put into games with them 2 (mmr 2100 each) and 8 solo players with 1800. It is impossible to make a fair match out of these 10 players

Duo Q kills most of the games above 1800 MMR…or at least alot of them. As most games will have 1 team with 2 top 25 players. Whilst the other team is all 1800 solo players.

The result = everyone stops queuing and quits because losing 500-100 is not fun, in particular when a fair game could have easily been made with 1 top 25 person on EACH team IF duo queue didnt exist.

If duo queue isn’t removed then at least do Helseth’s suggestion and make it so that legend players cannot duo queue.

Terrormancer still viable?

Terror has been dead for years. Necromancer does not have enough access to Fear to make it worth building a Terrormancer. Fear durations are short, the skills are few, and they are on longer cool downs. There are plenty of fear-related traits but they are scattered too widely given the relative ease of cleansing and low impact to an opponent’s health.

Fear is a condition that also works like a control effect so it can be cleared by both condition clears and stun breaks. Terrormancer used to be a power-build variant, if i remember correctly. Adding condition damage through Terror sounds interesting but the reality is that Fears were nerfed

Terror is in Curses, a trait line that focuses on bleeds, poisons, and corruptions. However, consider the rest of the Fear-related traits:

  • Terrifying Descent – Curses – proc’s when taking falling damage
  • Reaper’s Protection – Death Magic – proc’s when receiving a control effect
  • Fear of Death – Soul Reaping – adds duration in a cleanse-happy game and proc’s a Fear when being downed
  • Terror – Curses – adds condition damage to infrequent, short-lived Fears instead of corrupting boons on your opponent
  • Shivers of Dread – Reaper – proc’s a Chill when an opponent receives Fear and received a 33% Chill duration reduction from 3 sec to 2 sec in April’s Chill nerf extravaganza

The most frequent and reliable source of Fear is shroud (Doom/Terrify/Wave of Fear). After that is Reaper’s Mark. Spectral Wall and corrupting Stability are much less reliably proc’d. None of the Fear sources are frequent enough to develop a build around Fear due to all of the cleansing available.

Necromancer would need another weapon with a Fear on it for on-demand availability. The traits could use a rework, too. Annoying your opponent with a short Fear after taking a major hit is just weak.

Good post. Terror should be a minor trait to replace soul comp in the death magic line imo

Hi guys, Henry back again. How we all doing?

It is utter madness how totally broken thief is.

Most games are decided by who has the better thief?

And you know the class is broken when its impossible to die on thief unless the other team has a thief! The only time a thief has to be careful is when the other team has a thief. Otherwise its like shooting fish in a barrel for these wannabes.

Maybe they should actually balance this game? I quit for 2 years. I come back and guess what. Thief is still utterly broken! Just like it was when I quit 2 years ago!!

Shadowstep, PI and that stupid new heal = some of the most broken things for thief.

50s CD “double” stun breaker. Clear 3 condis if you will use chain skill. 1200 range.

https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Shadowstep – “just” stunbreaker and 1200 teleport (f.e. mesmer have the same skill – https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Blink with 30s CD and YOU AS NECRO have same skill – https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Necrotic_Traversal with 32s CD – which is also blast finisher, doing poison condi to 5 targets and generates life force and 1st skill in chain (Summon Flesh Wurm) is also doing damage.

The second chain skill is Shadow return https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Shadow_Return which is stunbreaker, clears 3 condis (nothing special) and 1200 teleport where you can`t choose where to teleport (you just know where you will be ported back).

I don`t see nothing special on Shadowstep if I will compare it to other similar skills. “Side” effects which are connected to this kind of skill are different for different classes, f.e.
Thief – stunbreaker, clear 3 condis, teleport
Necro – stun breaker, doing dmg, teleport, blast finisher

So I still don`t understand this flamewar you created. But… I saw your other threads…unfortunately.

I would swap any utility on any class for shadowstep. It is the best utility in the game bar none. Should the best utility in the game not be nerfed?

If you’re running mimic and you use CS just to blink 3 times in a row you are playing mesmer wrong in PvP

Well, you’re obviously ignoring my point. But the possibility to chain teleports is there. And it’s stun breaker. And it’s on 30(24)s cooldown which is much less than 50(40)s that thief has. I’d take mesmer’s cooldown before condi clear on second port any time.

To add:
If we were to compare skill for skill like I just did for mesmer then you would see there is a lot of imbalance like this. Two skills or traits that have same mechanic can differ a lot between classes. Some get more some get less, depending on how their class is played and what mechanics it has.
Calling Shadowstep op is really not knowing basics of the game and being salty. Thiefs don’t really have going much for them and few goods skills keep thief alive in what would otherwise be being one-shot scenario. But I guess it’s easy for Necro to talk stupid stuff like op did, he isn’t the one that will get killed by one or two strong attacks. He has effectively 40k HP (minimum) and he doesn’t care most of the time.

Terror is beyond awful because:

1, The dps sucks
2, Everyone else has perma stability
3, You need the boon corruption

Even if it was buffed to do more damage it would still be bad as you cant ever fear a warrior/engi/ranger/mesmer/guardian as they are always block, invuln or have stability.

Gold player vs Legendary players

This happens all the time due to duo queue. It means the other top players dont queue because they only duo queue so most sit afk in hotm waiting for their friends to show up so they can farm some rating. As a result every game in plat and above has a good chance of a blow out.

Result = pvp is dying.

Almost everyone knows how op it is. Even thieves know. It does so much in 1 skill, condi clear, double stun break, teleport. What other utility does so much on any class? Imahine if endure pain was a teleport and cleansed 3 condis too.

I don’t think any class is borderline OP or UP. I liked the balance this season, removing passive traits and minor nerfs to reduce powercreep should suffice.

Warrior: Reduce adrenal health by 20%. Increase the healing power scaling by 30%. Make primal bursts trigger 2 bars of adrenaline instead of 3. Remove 1 condi from mace primal burst.

Guardian: Make F1 pull not pierce. Reduce passive and active burn duration from DH F1 by 15%.

Revenant: Make cleanse on legend swap remove 2 condis instead of 1. Reduce staff 4 cast time by half second. Increase damage on staff 2 chain skill by 20%. Reduce shiro heal cooldown from 30 to 25. Nerf sword autoattack by 5%. Reduce sword 2 cooldown by 1 second.

Thief: Make pulmonary impact blockable and dodgable.

Elementalist: Increase burning duration of dagger fire skills.

Engineer: Increase the cooldown of bunker down trait by 1 second. Not a balance change but add AoE circle to acid bomb.

Mesmer: Increase the cooldown of distortion by 5 seconds. Buff staff 3 by making it damage point blank aoe on target like engi pistol auto. Fix sword 2 stowing exploit.

Necro: Seems fine, maybe minor cooldown increases while adding some boons.

Ranger: Seems fine. Perhaps lower the boon duration on shouts.

Elementalist: Increase burning duration of dagger fire skills.

C’mon man! you didn’t even try, may as well not suggest anything XD

I really like how things are except the passives. Anet is happy with powercreep spam meta as well. I’m just being realistic here. Anet wont make eles a DPS class all of a sudden, at least not until the next expansion.

After 4 months those are pitiful balance changes though. There is so much stuff which is either insanely good or insanely bad and must be changed. How has necro greatsword not been reworked? In addition how have some absurd traits remained op for so long?

Also rev for sure should not be buffed. It is really strong, once thief is made less good rev will shine. The solution to rev being meh is thief, mesmer and warrior being nerfed.

There is no point to toughness

Its true. Toughness is pointless and so is vitality. The power creep is such that the only way to survive is to have op healing and blocks and invulns.

A solution is the reduction in the effect of might, regen and prot in pvp. And addition of the tanky amulets back. This is what they should do

If you don’t see tell on most telegraphed skill in game (vault) then you should probably play different game.
And while we’re at it, to be hit 12k vault or 10k backstab you need to be loaded with vulnerability, thief needs to be full glass and probably have many stacks of might. He may get the kill on you but next hit someone lands on that thief is killing the thief. But we’re going off topic now.

Not everyone has infinite dodges. I have 2. Doesnt matter how telegraphed it is when thief can spam it much more times in a row than I have dodges.

Most games in ranked are decided by whose thief is better.

yeah not to mention axe#2 can almost one shot a thief

not almost. With the right setup it absolutely can. I was playing a build the other day that was one shotting people its funny as hell but its a really bad build.

But that same build will also get one shot by theives and the axe 2 is only useful if the theif is using stealth alot…. if its just a dodge spam theif axe 2 is useless

Shame thief has 1 million dodges

Thief never gets punished for making errors. He can just run into 3 people and get away with shadowstep and all the other OP stuff it has
