Crafting per se , is not rewarding at all, about metalsmith (about all to be honest).

To be brutally honest though, I think legendaries are way too easy to get. It used to be harder until Anet decided to add Karma jugs to daily and month as well as dungeon rewards. Even before all the additional karma rewards, legendary was never hard to make it was just a time sink. I remembered Dynamis weapons in FF11 was much harder to make than legendary in GW2, the first one was like 1 year after it was released. GW2 legendary took like 2-3 weeks top.

Believe me, there isn’t one single gw2 customer who bough this game not logically expecting anything different than a legendary weapon worthy, uber rare, an event meet a guy with one, after 1 year or more of incredible , legendary work. Not the actual junk. How they even dare to call it legendary, noone knows. It’s just a stupid grinddbased weapon ready in a month, and 90% of them are even trashly designed (just look at Ministrel lol). Was way better if those legendaries was a skin on sale on the store transmuting like hom rewards current exotics, more than what we have. Accept the system as is, not asking adjustments? Huh, the loss of the purple name will bother me slightly, I hope they change that because it makes it stand out from everything else. Upon looking at my transmuted armor on the other hand, I have found that the opposite is true. I transmuted Inquest armor stats into a Shaman Breastplate from CoE, but the Breastplate still kept its name, letting on that the name comes from the appearance’s origin and not the stats’ origin. So by that logic, if I transmuted my Inquest bow’s stats into The Dreamer, then it would still be called The Dreamer, with the exception of the word “legendary” being changed into “transmuted.” It seems like the name and rarity would stay the same, although it is not a big deal in itself. No doubt. Until legendary weapons will be upgraded to ascended stats, and your beautiful bow will be just a cool skin, still working hard to craft/drop an ascended bow reskinning again. And well i expect way more an uberlong uberexpensive craft more than a chest drop Depends on how Anet will manage the
patch when ready about legendaries, and if his name was enough to make it go back to his proper new status. I doubt.

Well, no doubt if even was on loot table, the sickness this weapon created for so long time with so many people desiring one ( me included) wouldn’t surprise me if Anet just removed Final Rest from any loottable just to keep up the interests and a mysterious weapon noone ever found, and so much chased. On my side be sure, i’m not planning to waste 1 single minute on orr DE getting junk. Thousand other players did yet hundred thousand times for junk, i’m not gonna add my name on the list for sure

Yup, i cannot get what part of a legendary weapon on a fantasy game where money is allowed to make things faster/ easier is exactly “legendary” lol. We ask something more important: ever heard of amazing design, lore under those weapons and a long beautiful journey to finally complete a legendary and finally be worthy to wield one? Just the fact we are able to to skip even all the grind actually needed and just buy it from TP makes the weapon at all a ridiculous pathetic skin, not something legendary at all nor the player worthy.

Yup agree, 2 daily attempts are more than enough, to attempt ring lottery and get some junk, 2-5 rares (who don’t translate to ectos at all, sometimes), some t6 mats when possible, and roll your dice for a fractal weapon.

Doesn’t matter how you consider the fight. If you just abused of exploits/cheats, there is nothing else to talk about. If you used loads of revive orb well, good for you, i hope was daily rewards lol 50+ fractals are just a bit longer, if you mastered all fight, is just rinse repeat, way longer, stressing yourself to get your shiny blue trash, 1 rare. a lv1 fractal run shortly. Necromancers are totally underestimated. Between staff and death shroud, you have 2 fears. What’s so special about fear? It always works on bosses regardless of their defiance stacks. Because of this, necro is the most effective at interrupting big boss attacks. Also, necro has good damage output, good survivability, and a little bit of party healing if you build right.

As for your question about Elementalists, they make good healers with staff water attunement. They output a ton of sustained AoE healing. The drawback to water attunement on staff is that it deals almost no damage. You’ll have to switch to other attunements to get damage. You can also use the conjured weapons to deal damage while in water attunement, which is cool because there is a trait which gives your whole party regen while you are in water attunement. Elementalist is great, but it’s also the squishiest profession.

Honestly, Guardian and Warrior are just the easiest to play effectively. I’ve dungeoned with a lot of people, and I am pretty sure every profession is good when played properly.
