I mentioned this on GW2 facebook page, but the comment will more than likely get buried.
Anyways, a lot of the events are too easy for the amount of players zerging them.
Best example of this: Harathi Hinterlands – the event where centaurs try to retake the north and south camps is a complete joke. Yeah, there’s a veteran mob in each group but due to all the AoE going on and the amount of players, its trivial. If they had 1 or 2 champions in or something like 50 centaurs in each group, then it might actually fail, but not likely. Then further down that chain, the final part with the champion war beasts and the champion centaur – also a joke. There is no way this chain of events will ever fail. Is there even a fail branch for this event, where the centaurs take over all the camps up to Seraph’s Landing? I want to see more events fail, so I can see the fail branches and right now, that will not happen because a majority of the events are just zergfests.
There’s another event that takes place at Trebuchet’s Bend (Trebusha’s Overlook Waypoint) where the first part is to take a small centaur camp and destroy the catapults, at which point Seraph engineers repair them. The 2nd part involves the centaur coming back to retake the camp (7 waves of centaurs). All 7 waves come at once and well, without the proper amount of players, bound to fail. If you could mix the difficulty of the big event chain mentioned in my first paragraph with this event chain, I think events would fail more often. It just sucks not seeing the fail branch of events, that the developers worked on. It just seems like wasted effort at this point, since events practically never fail.
I’ve been hearing the lvl high level zones are similar.
The Ele and Ranger:
What armor is that on ele? I saw this armor on an NPC in LA colored differently and thought it was either some form of NPC only clothing or town clothing but apparently its just a light armor skin. Please enlighten!
I’m not in front of the game right now, so I can’t supply the exact names until later. But that’s a fairly low level Ele (7 or so when the screenshot was taken). So the gloves, leggings and coat are the first basic items that can be made by crafting (Tailor). The best part about that being an alt is I already had all the supplies and could walk straight up and start making that clothing almost from the start. And the starting tailored items have a huge stat increase on anything you find/can buying for quite few levels.
Lol, yeah, looked it up right after I posted. It looks like the one I saw the NPC Norn in LA wearing is a modified version or something.
I’ve seen this too. I think its on multiple versions of swindler’s pants too, not just honed.
Maybe this is just happening to me, but sometimes I like going into melee on my ranger with greatsword and I will hit my keybind to target nearest enemy to me (which could be right next to me) and it will target something that is completely out of melee range or target something that is at range and not in combat. This happens when I use a bow too, more so with enemies not aggro’ed even when there’s enemies that have been aggro’ed and are closer. The reason I use target closest is because I did that a lot in GW1 and found it very useful.
Is this happening to anyone else?

I’ve noticed this too, especially with monsters that don’t drop loot. If they don’t drop loot, they pretty much respawn as soon as their corpse hits the ground.
You also cannot salvage/sell karma vendor items anymore either, which you used to be able to do.
There’s an event in Fields of Ruin in the NW part of the map that is stuck. The event is to save 4 villagers from harpies, but when I was in the zone, the event got stuck and remained that way. When I am back in the zone, I will check it out to see if the event is working or not. I probably won’t be in the zone for at least a few days or more. I will update this thread when I go back there.
The pack bull escort near Almuten Estates is bugged or bugs out frequently. I’ve seen it get stuck at 1/3 and 2/3 of pirate waves defeated. I have never seen this event actually complete.
Is this the one where you have to escort the messenger to the summit meeting? If so, I noticed that too and its been bugged for 2 days or more now. (I got to the zone Sunday and finished it yesterday.)
Possible bug - 50% of monster equipment drops are based on your character level

I did some farming yesterday for fine tier 2 crafting materials (small scales, small fangs, small claws, etc) and 50% of the time I would get a lvl 46 armor item when fighting monsters that were in their 20s and 30s. Literally, every other equipment drop was a lvl 46 armor (my character is lvl 52 and I was farming in 15-25 and 25-35 zones – Snowden Drifts and Gendarran Fields to be exact). There’s a couple issues with this:
1) If I am trying to farm for leather or cloth, those 46 armors are going to salvage into higher tiers of leather or cloth.
2) I can go back to my starter zone at lvl 80, kill lvl 3 wurms and most likely eventually get a full set of high 70s gear.
Suggestion: Change monster, chest, bag drops based on the level of the zone and/or monster, and not the level of your character.
I heard there has been similar problems with lvl 80 dungeon chests that were/are dropping lvl 30 blues/greens.
Obviously not a priority, but thought I’d let this be known.
