It would have to be a huge multipler. I think just cutting down the requirements is the easiest solution.

Many Achieved 250k Kills. So u would get it too.

Because the precursor hunt would probably turn the economy upside down and new legendary are likely saved for something like an expansion.

What do you mean? I didnt play regular WvW (only eotm since achievements actually show visible progress here) in weeks already because its pointless for me as an achievement hunter.
Well at the rate WvW is dieing they are still the same level of impossibility than before unless you are T1 or T2
The achievements must be realistic even if you are playing in T7 or it will be just another reason to stack servers

Your suggested values are still way too high compared to other achievement categories.
They should take an example from the edge of the mist achievements. Still very grindy, but doable in like 300-500 hours depending on your playstyle.

What about all those people that had a recipe listed and i finally gave them the amount they asked for during the initial buy out? Lots of happy chaps.
And what makes you think that regular demand wouldnt have depleted the initial supply on the tp by now?
I dont want one otherwise I would have bought it long ago. But there are new people joining the game every day. And some of them might be interested in collecting all recipes for whatever reason. They must now pay over 5g instead of like 75s.
Also who cares about the people who finally sold their stuff (for an overpriced amount)? They were to greedy with their asked price to begin with if it did not sell for months without your help.

Also keep in mind that the dolyak has diminishing returns, the first defend event in a given day nets me 8 gifts, but any subsequent runs have significantly fewer. You’re better off trying to catch it over a few days than all in one go. If you can I’d also suggest trying to do this around reset as a lot of players will donate at that time for the wintersday daily achieve.
I believe it is random, I havent noticed any drop off when doing it several times a day. Or maybe that was fixed because I only did the event in the first 24 hours.
Just donate those few gold by yourself.

It keeps putting me into games which already finished. Apparently it does not delete finished instances but keeps putting new players in. Please do something.
I am sitting at 10k daily AP for months already. Is there any point to do the new dailies until the daily and monthly cap are merged in january? I am not interested in the reward chests. So will any additional daily points I earn until the merge be deleted or are they just not calculated until then?
It took me less than 1000 hours to GWAMM on a new account with no support (eg no free ectos, zkeys, etc) from other people. So 4-6 years would be extremly casual or not focused on the title.
So the achievements that were added in each LS meta list were not challenging. Should I start linking the multiple posts each day that complain about how hard they are?
There are always players who find something too hard. There are way more stupid and average people on the world than smart/good ones. It can be described with a bell curve.
An extra laurel. They do so much additional work to prevent people getting an extra laurel worth around 1g?

To keep it in line with the reward philosophy of this game. Count starts before Fractal Reset, provided no data wipe.
Because the game needs more impossible WvW like achievements. 50k fractal runs is impossible in the liftime of the game.
They should delete the borderlands and replace them with a copy of the edge of the mist map. Two instead of 4 maps would make sense with the dwindling WvW population.

600 is a lot, how many hours did it take you? Did you farm zergs with a WvW guild or play in public zerg?
farm was over a 2 hour 45 minute period, raiding with guildies, 20-25 + pugs who came and went over the course of the rally. We were fighting zergs that were larger than us by at least 25-50%
So about 200 kills per hour. That would be 1250 hours of farming with your guild for 250k kills. For a normal WvW player it would probably take 5x longer, especially if you are not selfish and constribute by scouting and escorting dolyaks, too.
I mean nowadays I feel lucky if I meet one zerg every 20-30min and then you still need to tag all and beat them and often opponents hide behind doors and you end up with almost no kills for your time.
If you play off prime time it is even worse. During a 3h nightshift I sometimes do not even get the 10 player kills completed.

Explaining the situation in a customer support ticket is the best way to go about it so Anet can look specifically at the problem. The ingame report tools are way to vague and most of the time Anet probably doesnt even understand why someone was reported.

I believe noone achieved any of the titles except the 250k kill one yet.
They have already acknowledged that the wvw achievments are an issue, and that they’re working on it. IIRC we will see the fix along with precursor crafting, i.e. by the end of 2013.
I know they acknowledged it somewhere in early 2013. But it cant hurt to remind them over and over. Otherwise they could think people dont care anymore.

They won’t be if history is any indication. Been screwed up since Beta and 2.5 years later EXACTLY the same.
Its probably one of the easiest and most effective changes they could do to keep WvW alive. Even if they would for some reason have to rewrite some code, it must be a lot easier to add new sieges, WvW abilities or maps. I cant think of any valid excuse to not do this other than letting WvW die on purpose. If they dont want to spend resources on real WvW content, this is the least they could do for us.

Here are what I would find realistic requirements for the final tier of the WvW achievements – based on my 4 digit hours I spend on different activities in WvW:
Realm Avenger: Kill 50,000 players (that equals tagging and destroying 1000 – 50 men zergs) – down from 250k kills
Yakslapper: Kill 3,000 enemy supply caravans. – down from 1m dolyak caravans
A Pack Dolyak’s Best Friend: Successfully escort 1,000 supply caravans. – down from 500k escorts
Repair Master: Spend 25,000 supply on repairs. – down from 1m supplies
Take Everything in Sight: Capture 10,000 objectives. (Eotm reactors and special objectives count towards this) – down from 1m objectives
Going Camping: Capture 2,500 supply camps. – down from 100k camps
It’s Quite Roomy in Here : Capture 2,500 towers. – down from 100k towers
All We See, We Own: Capture 1,000 keeps. (keeps take more effort to capture and less available in total) – down from 100k keeps
King of the Castle: Capture Stonemist Castle 500 times. – down from 25k castles
Stay Out!: Defend 3,000 objectives. – down from 1m objectives
Walls Get in the Way: Defend 500 supply camps. (Camps are tricky to defend and no walls you can repair for easy defense events, event often does not trigger even if you killed agressors) – down from 500k camp defenses
Stopped Them Cold: Defend 1,000 towers. – down from 500k defenses
Nice View From Up Here: Defend 1,000 keeps. – down from 500k defenses
Stonemist Stands Firm–Again: Defend Stonemist Castle 1,000 times. – down from 500k defenses
I think these requirements would motivate more people to play WvW – and more importantly do all aspects of WvW including dolyak escorts and defending. I expect with these requirements it would take about 2000 hours (= 5.5hours per day for a year) for the average player to max out WvW achievements.
I agree. I do not have high expectations for Mordremoth and the other dragons after the Zhaitan fiasco.
Only fools trust metrics considering they can be skewed by tons of things. If you offer better rewards/time/effort for something easy people will go there. MMOs are driven by rewards. If Anet would start making proper rewards, more people would play fractals and dungeons for example.
People dont play Aetherpath because they can get the same rewards in other ways for less effort. The special skins their are very high RNG with low chances, so better to farm gold somewhere else and go buy the ones you like from TP. If the chances would be lets say 10 times better more people would go play it – if only to complete the wardrobe. This could be combined with a collection achievement for even more motivation.
When will the WvW achievements finally be adjusted to something realistic? I think they all need at least 1-2 zeros removed. Even the 250k kill one is becoming more and more unlikely as the WvW population is getting less and less. You have to keep searching for enemy zergs longer and longer even in T1 matchups. 250k kills is/was possible, but you need to tag everyone in 5000 – 50 men zergs and have them all die. I wont even get started about the other WvW achievements which are even more crazy time consuming and absurd. WvW or even GW2 will be dead before someone gets any of them.
If I remember right it was promised in early 2013 to have the WvW achievements adjusted by end of 2013, now we almost have 2015 and nothing has changed except two achievements for spending supplies.
I think if the achievements and titles would be more realistic goals (such as the Eotm achievements are), more people would be motivated to play WvW again.
