I also find that the fundamental problem with rewards is that they require effort…
Underworld.
Do as you like with your second-class servers, we have the best name.
edit: this thread seems very americanocentric(?), needs more people from european servers.

Go Warrior.
If youre ruling out Guardian, you leave Warrior as the only viable Heavy option.
Warrior was my first to 80 and Guardian was the profession i left to last.
Dear Devs,
Can one of you please express your definition of “fun” in this thread so that i can get 100 gold from Calae,
Much thanks!
you stated that you change weapon, regardless of how you did it, cooldown still occurs.
the cooldown could be up to 10 secs, but may well be less.
i use sigil of blood on my main hand axe with sigil of geo on the off hand to get bleed on swap to dual-axes and i also have sigil of blood on my rifle that i swap to.
i notice the effect of cooldown on the bleeds when i swap to axes and the sigil of geo kicks in.
on axe and rifle, sigil of blood works as intended.
i have gotten all my information on this from the sigil of blood and sigil pages of the wiki (also the talk pages of those), and from my own experimenting.
there is still a note about sigil of blood not working with greatswords even though it was removed from the page that remains unanswered.
i dont use greatswords ever, so i cant test it myself.

That they should try to make players happy has probably occurred to them.
And was quickly ignored…
What you seem to miss is that it’s not about my opinion.
It’s about the reasonability that people can be appalled by this. And apparently a lot of people here only care about themselves and show absolutely empathy towards the possibility of this.
I am appalled by your opinion. please stop.
it probably shares a cooldown, so youll have to have use the sigil of blood weapon for up to 10 secs of combat before it can work.
I agree.
I am an unhappy gw2 player.
I do not buy gems anymore.
When i was a happy player,
I bought gems weekly.
Do the math anet.
shouldnt this be in Suggestions?
I try not to use greatswords and hammers because i see far too many of them in use.
Going with one-handed weapons makes me feel less common.
Queensdale train is the endgame!
Woah…
it’s just pixels.
If it offends, log out.
Why even connect to the internet if youre that easily offended?
I could give you an honest opinion but then i would get infracted by a mod for it.
If you also add in the fact with how fast you level the only gear worth anything is lvl 80 exotic.
You raised a good point, and people can go from 2-80 in Queensdale wearing starter armor and then buy exotic everything.
yes, we just had a mod pass through this area and remove naughty threads and hand out infractions (i got one for a cheeky blurb sendup lol), you wont find them again.
ah right, looks very nice, but is it worth buying the entire set just for a one use skirt? hmm
what is the short skirt, 4th from bottom and 6th from bottom please?
The real reason is that Orr was once crowded with players and hardly any waypoints were contested for long.
Then they nerfed all the farming and rewards there and most players stopped going to Orr.
Now only players wanting world bosses, map completion and mats you cant salvage from Queensdale train bag drops go there, the waypoints stay contested for days/weeks.
If Orr still had it’s original rewards, it would still be crowded and hardly any waypoints would be contested for long etc.
If we get true darkness can I have some night-vision goggles?
The majority of arguments in Queensdale map chat are caused by players guesting from other servers, they intentionally disrupt the train and then boast/troll/flame.
I have not interacted with others as much as I do in the Queendsale train in any other mmo, ever.
When I want to be alone, I go to Orr.

You do realize there is an achievement for doing 300k dmg in 1 hit right?
Damage caused on ambient creatures (white mobs) count towards the achieve, and you can also use environmental and siege weapons.
i got that achievement by killing an ambient creature on a level 50ish toon, a month or so after launch.
it would be nice for all builds to be capped on all versions of dam, that way we can all play what we fancy rather than what is trending; this game is gagging for some more variety.
there is a rare back item (or two) that are quivers full of arrows.
that seems to be the closest anet chooses to deal with this issue.
Scarlet is the new dragon, a plant dragon, like in the dream.
Obvious dragon is obvious.
Now you know why anet cant kill her off.
hmmm…minstrel, you say?
is it a greatsword? the devs just love greatswords…
otherwise, the answer is no
Maybe try making some of the items like that you can sell, like deldrimore steel or spiritwood planks.
Neither of those items require any dropped ascended mats to make…
and the bloodstone bricks that i could make with the dropped mats i get are account bound.
We could really use those champ trains in Orr.
Orr used to be packed with players, then it was nerfed until it emptied.
Zero of Nine.
/extra body length
I think we both just made a similar thread from opposing perspectives.
Being able to sell them to people that want them is what i want.
I dont want anything to do with ascended items and the crafting of them but i have an insane amount of mats for them now.
Not only are they taking up more inventory space than anything else i have,
they are also replacing drops i could sell.
This is a burden on those who dont want to participate in your game changes.
It’s almost as if we are being pushed towards crafting ascended items whether we want to or not, and for those of us who want ascended stuff, youre making it more difficult for them by making the mats account bound, stopping them from buying any mats they need amd forcing them to grind for it all.
Why not make these new mats sellable then everyone wins?
If not, how about a tick box on the account that opts out of ascended everything, so we dont have to be inundated with this useless detritus?
p.s. sorry if this topic is a common one, didnt have time to search on it.
from the wiki:
All sigils that have a cooldown share the same cooldown timer; while the timer is active, no other sigil with a cooldown can trigger. For example, if you are using a Sigil of Fire (flame burst on critical) and a Sigil of Battle (might stacks on swap), you will have to wait after swapping weapons (Sigil of Battle activated) before the flame burst can trigger on critical.
Do you really think that NEW players would be able to kill a champ in Queensdale champ train?
I do the queensdale train every day.
I see level 3-80 there.
Not seen a level 2 yet, but the others do fine thank you.
I also stopped playing since Wintersday 2012 and started again about 5 weeks ago.
I found the vast majority of things exactly the same (including the bugs), a few random changes and obligatory nerfs.
The biggest difference is with the Magic-Find gear being converted into an account wide Luck system, which you will have to consume a lot of to get to a decent % again (if you used lots of magic-find gear before).
Champion mobs now drop goody-bags and so the “Train” phenomenon has appeared (which is just a zerg with a route-plan) to maxmise these drops.
The biggest issue i’ve found is that the living-story updates had content and rewards that are no longer available, which is a shame.
Being able to not play it for months on end without losing money to subscription fees.
i typed a relevant post and this forum ate it instead of posting, now i cant be bothered to type it again.
I found a few just after launch, but since then I have only ever gotten them as personal story rewards.
Extremely rare drops, due to multiple nerfs and gem store marketing tactics.
No,
but I am addicted to reading ironic forum posts.
please. just stop arguing at a funeral.
i thought this thread was for people posting their flame-kissed screenshots?
i was looking forward to seeing a memorial thread, but you guys are turning it into just another flame-kissed drama thread.
awww </3 she looked good in it too.
i wonder how long it will take for “flame-kissed” to become a meme to describe “something beautiful that was abruptly destroyed”.
i remember that happening to me a few times at that place,
it appeared as though whatever invisible area boundary you cross to alter your level is oddly placed there.
if you go across the bridge leading west from the asuran “base”, you become lower for longer than if you went north and around the mountain before heading west.
so not broken, just wonky.
Thanks, that will take many clicks to get there, but i shall work on it.
Ah I didnt know that, but how high does artificing need to be to do that?
I’m curious about the meshes used to make the flame-kissed armors.
It’s as though the 3 most disliked (therefore uncommon or rare as far as people wearing them goes) sets were meant to be used for the flame-over.
But then, it’s as though whoever worked on the light set swapped that mesh for the t3 human light one (for whatever reasons: it may have been the only one at hand, maybe it was prettier, or they worked on the wrong mesh by mistake, perhaps they play human only, or wanted a bra top for their norn etc) without clearing it with certain other people first.
Such a theory might be behind this fiasco.
(edited by Mimizu.7340)
There is no off switch.
Trahearne is waiting for you.
yes yes yes.
this goes double for clicking all the 10 luck stacks i get.
anet, dont contribute to repetitive strain injuries by failing to allow bulk buying from vendors and bulk use from inventory.
lesser mmos have had this feature for years now.
Minimise Clicks Please.
Yay for Squeaky Wheels and Oil!
All I need now are several hundred posts from everyone who wants the cultural norn armor that has been clipping on “larger” females since beta…and they might actually fix them at last.
Huzzah!
we all know that human females only buy the t3 light for the bra top.
now all females of any race can have a bra top.
yay for bra tops!?
computeranet says no
