I believe it’s priced as such because they’d likely be used to remove infusions from ascended equipment. Especially for those that use Agony Resist +10 and higher infusions, you’d be saving a lot of gold. Those that also want to save their time-gated laurels by not destroying their current infusions will find them helpful as well.

Definitely don’t use them for standard superior runes.

I don’t know if anyone has realized this but ONE of these costs 250 gems which is about 16-17g maybe more. There is no point in buying these because the rune you want out you can just replace and get the one already on it AND still have 8-12g left over. Why does it cost that much to buy just one of these? There is really no single reason to buy these unless you are drunk or on acid. They should be 5 for 250 gems then it will be worth 250 gems.

Account Bound Legendary Weapons

No, just no. They aren’t even account bound when you craft them but nothing is still account bound when you equip them. You can sell your legendary if you don’t equip them but once you do just like ascended weapons and everything else in the game its soul bound. They also made karma account bound making getting the karma much easier. They’ve already made getting most of the things in this game too easy.

Legendaries should not be soulbound. Its dumb to make them soulbound. You should have the freedom to do whatever you want with the legendary aslong as you cant sell it after equiping it. Its not a cake walk to get a legendary. And its ’’Legendary’’ whats so legendary if its stuck on one of my characters while my others look like nooblets and have to equip same wep type but not have it legendary.

They should have been acc bound from the start because it is the biggest thing you can accomplish in this game. It shouldn’t be stuck to one character if it requires so much from a person.

Give us skin locker with re-usability like the PvP locker, and turn all cultural armor into skins and at the same time unlock cultural armors across every race to mix up what people want to look like.

It would be great but anet wont do it. It would be pretty cool if they did that but i guess money first then the players.

pretty much what Adrianna said. Its already costy enough and to make it more costy well blah. As for refunds everyone will have to deal with it i guess. I wouldn’t mind and i got many cultural pieces. Because after crying at that atleast i know my future cultural pieces wont require me to waste another 30g on crystals.

Would anyone like to see all the cultural armor t1-3 become skins instead of armor?
Idk if anyone uses these skins for thier stats so it would be a good move to make them skins instead of armor. They are pretty cost as is(T3).

I could care less of you sf people crying on here about getting tbagged because you guys do it more then anyone ive seen. So please do not come here to qq about getting tbagged when your players do it non stop.

I encourage it, I teach my guildies to do it, and I have just about wore out my spacebar….Because if corpse jumping (something that is technically not even poor sportsmanship, just something people made up) bothers people enough to come here and post about it (SF or Others) then they are easily manipulated.

Being hot tempered and easily manipulated makes a player easy pickings on the battlefield, and that is what we want and are shooting for with every emote and jump.

It is possible, but if you see it a lot it means something different.

The SF translation to corpse jumping usually means 1 of 2 things:

1. You did something wrong, IE: you allowed us to pull/bait/squirrel you into getting ganked.

2. You are playing your class poorly and/or you are playing a bad/cheese build and should not have lost.

Then of course some people just do it everytime they kill people, but that is mainly because they are surprised they actually killed someone.

Well i got finished off with 6 people then tried to save someone then went down after killing a mesmer. So I think it might have been my hammer toss to the bad warriors face when i was downed. I wanted to let the upscale stomp me. I give that upscale props he stomped and went on with his day.

Or it could have been i was playing my class wrong since i didnt kill enough of the people on the wall.

Just a reminder, if you “fight club” in WvW WAR/MERC will kill you where you stand. PvP has its place, and it is not in WvW… So, take your chances…

An arena was put in Obs Sanc for a reason, if [WAR/MERC] decides to come there to disrupt a “fight club” or any GvG, questions about it’s character will be raised.
Maybe you should pop on in and see why players come down and test out builds and group dynamics. ANet put an arena in Obs because players wanted to be able to do things like test builds, group compositions, and strategy outside the PvP meta. If the match is primarily decided by Thursday, there will be a fight club and I recommend that WAR/MERC comes down and checks it out. You may find it enlightening.

i loved cappin 50 runes for 1 mini dolyak that i couldnt care less about/100 emp fragments(have like 2k of those and just been throwin them out since so easy to get) 5 sp scrolls? lel 3 1 level up wvw potions/5 lvl up books. No gold no mats no rare drop/exotic no badges.

Aside from makin us do a good amount of stuff. You could atleast give us something decent. This thing only appeals to few ppl but majority of the players knew they would get bullkitten from it. I my self expected 2 blues and 3 greens and a mini dolyak. But this is even worse then that.

Yes yes this topic has been here many times. Can we please get it already. A duel system to duel anywhere anytime with anyone in pve. Because i am fed up with going to spvp to 1v1 someone i know to have some low self esteem kid come in and ruin everything. Its been a year and im really disappointed there is no legit way to 1v1 or 5v5 in pve.

Im really starting to get a bad impression of anet here… Fixing bugs that dont even matter(weapon switch infinite channel skill bug which was only cosmetic) But bugs like rush doing circles around ppl or missing badly and bulls rush leaving you in front of target while rushing in place. Or the bipolar channel skills that stop the skill from going all the way.

Please anet do stuff that helps everyone to progress the game.

Maybe I’m wrong but i though the new maps where cross server? meaning that wen you long on to it you are fighting with all blue servers (what ever colour)

hes sayng that only the high pop servers will benefit most from the new map because low pop servers wont have ppl playing togeather because there will be 5 maps and barley anyone on each map. Now idk if low tier servers will even get to visit new map if it is overflow only based.

SF learned a lot from HoD’s superior tactics. After all, those T1 xfers at a discounted price sure upped their level of play and they crushed our tactics especially during Week 5. They really regrouped and executed well that week. Week 4 was a night coverage game more than anything where we auto-lose obviously. I think facing almost similar tactics took them by surprise that first week.

So now we’re stuck facing two teams that use no tactics. Where was IoM anyways? I didn’t even see them on reset. Did they just go back to the IoM on Blackgate?

(I saw a Kaineng wallhack twice yesterday, was quite sad to watch actually because we wiped their group both times, once with significantly lower numbers (20 vs 35), once with vastly superior numbers (50 vs 15). Why not report them? because nothing will be done anyways and his character isn’t worth the 1 Mb of space on my HDD)

I buy gems with gold regularly. The rates are still fine, IMO.

The poor can compete. The lazy and poor can’t.

not everyone can play the tp to make 100s of gold. Doing every dungeon everyday only nets about 20-35g a day. And that takes a LONG WHILE. Now if you want 5 transmutation stones and i mean 5 not 6 like you need for a whole armor set but just 5. Atm its 8g something for 100 gems and 5 stones are 250 gems. That is about 16-18g. Thats a lot of game time if you arnt playing the tp to buy 5 stones just to move skins. Oh and if you want to move a skin from 1 character to another you spend 2 stones.

It might not seem costy to you rich ppl but the casuals/try hard pve gold farmers cant make gold fly out the air like the tp players can.

if you nerf the dmg you wont be doing anything to hurt hammer. The stuns will still be there and you will get killed by the auto. It wont matter to the zerker hammer stun warriors because they will still be able to CC like no skill players.

Have you seen the cooldowns on the hammer CC skills. The f1 you can get off every 10 seconds and 7 if you go all the way into 30 in discipline. Stun warriors are the reason for mace and hammer getting nerfed and you are promoting that. If the f1 and 4 do less dmg why would you bother using unless for getting someone off a teammate. Hammer would become a support weapon rather then what people used to use it for.

Mace/shield is a defensive set with 3 stuns. The stuns need nerfing not the damage. If you wanted to do dmg you have to put points into zerker traits.

So you spend 30 in discpline to get your 7 second earthshakers. Now if you want them to do dmg you will have to put points in strength and if you want to make hammer skills have a smaller CD you have to put 20 into defense. And your gear will have to be mostly zerker or assassins so you can crit and do dmg. You will be a free kill to someone with a brain.

You have to give up so much in order to make hammer do dmg. If you nerf the stuns then people would’nt go zerker and abuse the hammer stuns knowing they wont be hit much. The over all dps would be lower if ppl stopped using hammer in zerker builds to abuse the stuns. Do you not see that?

Mace/shield needs a giant nerf because no weapon should be able to stun for a whole 4 second stun 1 second daze and 2 blocks. Now if you put the stuns in a mini cooldown of 3 seconds then all you are left with is auto atk and 2 blocks.

Jae mace/shield will be fine if the cooldown is implemented. No set should have the power to keep stunning. You wouldnt be screwd unless all you used mace/shield was for 3 stuns and 2 blocks and never hit auto atk. Because if you did that then cooldown nerf is will be working right. No other class has this many stuns so no other class will still be better then the warrior at CC.

anet you’re doing it wrong. The problem isnt the dmg with hammer its the stuns. Make the stun skills share a mini cooldown if one is activated but keep the dmg the same. This way it wont be spammable. Same can be done for other weapons that have more then 1 stun in their skills.

For example,
If i use backbreaker then my staggering/f1 go on a 3 second cooldown. While the backbreaker goes on normal cooldown.
On mace/shield its same deal. I use skull crack then my shield bash and 3 skill go on cooldown.

This will be the most fairest way to do this nerf. Because if the dmg is nerfed then you are destroying a weapon the non stun abusers use. Just implement a stun cooldown so it cannot be spammed.

A weapon shouldnt be nerfed according to what it can do in a zerg, because if balance was done that way we would be hitting each other with flowers and rainbows.

December 10th Warrior Changes

The problem I’ve seen with my stun warrior is that with the Fury boon, my armor stats, and the +50% crit chance from Unsuspecting Foe, I can get 117% crit chance with at least 60% extra damage per hit for two seconds. Unsuspecting Foe should just give fury for 10 seconds upon stun with an internal cooldown of 15 seconds. Right now, it isn’t the problem with the damage the hammer does, it’s the fact that when an enemy gets stunned by a warrior the warrior gets a 100% crit chance for the entirety of the stun chain. In short: The crit percent from the current meta build is too kitten high, specifically since warriors have almost permanent fury uptime with a ~47% base crit chance.

Which is stupid as I’ve stun-lock killed pretty much every class.

Don’t get me wrong, there are counters to this build. For one, any amount of stability will completely negate the CC and stealth can prevent the CC from hitting you. Last I time I played in WvW most zergs had Guardians giving out stability and Mesmers giving out veil with the guardians partied up with the classes that don’t have easy access to stability.

Stun warriors also give up a lot of on-demand mobility by using a hammer/mace+shield. The hammer burst isn’t up right away, the mace has no leaps to close distance, and shield has a short range charge that takes a couple seconds to connect, and about half a second at point blank.

Now when they activate “OP Mode” where they have Berserker Stance, Endure Pain, and Stability, there’s not much you can do other than kite. Endure pain only lasts 4 seconds, afterwords any attacks that deal raw damage will work. The problem comes from Berserker Stance lasting 8 seconds. The raw damage immunity from Endure Pain only lasts 4 seconds. Berserker Stance lasts too long compared to the other damage mitigation stance Endure Pain. I suggest making Berserker Stance 4 seconds and grant 1 extra tick of adrenaline per second to compensate.

In PvE the all the hammer warrior has going for it is the super effectiveness against any mob aside from champion mobs or better because they have defiant which renders CC completely useless after the initial CC hit. Defiant stacks on bosses and some bosses being completely immune to CC completely destroy any CC builds, especially in dungeons. My suggestion is to make it so CC gets less effective the more you use it in quick succession on a boss. Spamming CC would make it progressively get more and more resistant until it’s just immune to CC. This promotes thoughtful use of CC to interrupt the dangerous moves, but doesn’t leave the boss open to be permanently CCd.

In short: CC damage comes from the crit damage percent. Nerf the crit chance trait is a good idea.

Berserker Stance lasts twice as long another damage mitigation utility; Endure Pain rendering any condition builds helpless. Nerf Berserker Stance to 4 seconds and give it 1 extra tick of adrenaline per second.

Defiant and Unshakeable ruin CC builds in PvE. After the initial stun, the boss is completely immune to CC. I suggest a resistance that scales with how much CC has been used on it during the fight.

hammer/mace/shield, as you said if your target had a brain and used stability there goes your whole build. Stun wars to be nerfed but not the dmg of the weapon skills. If a weapon has more then one CC on it i think the other CC skills should go on a mini cooldown to avoid stunnoobing. For example, i have hammer out i use f1 my 4/5 go on a 2 second cooldown. If i have mace and use F1 my 3/4 go on 2 second cooldown.

As for your ‘’OP mode’’ deal… kite them for 8 seconds and then enjoy your free kill because they blew everything.

And the hammer only has 1 stun skill which is the f1 which lasts 1 second. Mace has 2 and a daze but you will either swap weapons to keep stun on for UF to keep going. You cannot keep perma UF. As for perma fury. You will either have to have FGJ and signet on or use arcing slice on GS and one of these 2 skills.

pve wise hammer sucks as its all about dmg in pve.

Good point Tammuz. Hammer has been around since launch but all of a sudden it has become this incredible OP weapon of mass destruction that UN inspectors need to be sent out to dismantle? Or, rather could it be that we are seeing a influx of nubs in WvW achievement grinding and hence an increase in whine? Hmmmm…….same weapon and mechanic for 18 mos with no whining….WvW Season 1 release and the cries are deafening.

Hammer is the same god kitten thing it was. Its just abused now when more then 1 guy in a group use it. The same can go for every weapon in this game but nope nerf hammer cus of the bad stun wars.

Well here it is because its been a year and nothings been done.

Movement skills(skills that cause you to move even if only a little) that are bugged
Bulls rush
rush
shield bash
Earthshaker
Kick
Savage Leap
eviscerate

All of these have a good chance to fail. Savage Leap has the least but it will still bug out badly when it does. Shield bash will either bash someone from range without you being near or miss but that one is low aswell. Rush/bulls rush are the most buggiest as they will just either make you run through target or freeze you in front of target and you just run in place. Earthshaker will completely miss if the elevation is off by a little.
Eviscerate will either let you get full 600 range leap hit or fail at about 300( evi is a bipolar skill)

Delayed evade on whirlwind. If you use it the evade dosent start till your swing starts you in the spin.

Bolas have a super slow projectile speed and can be dodged without dodging(just move to the side with little to no effort) And sometimes the bolas just goes through target and nothing happens. As of now its only good in the 300 range department but it says a lying 900 range.

Stomp- it will cancel it self if you accidently move and put it on full cooldown.

Fast hands- if you pick up and drop a bundle your weapon switch goes on a full cooldown.

mobil strikes- you get immobilized in the middle of a moment skill you will get immobilized. I dont know if this is a bug or intended but if it is intended that defeats the purpose of the trait. It should auto cleanse if you are in the middle of the movement skill and get immobilized.

Riflebutt- it will miss very easily unless the person is right in front center of you. Its cone needs to be widened a bit(not a bug i guess but its very easily missed even if you are in hugging range)

I hope these get fixed soon because it has been a year and these commonly known issues are just passed by upon. Its not just the warriors mobility skills that are bugged in these ways the other classes movment skills have it bad too. Like the ranger 3 leap on GS. If you use it at a slope it will do the run and hold you in place while letting the channel go and you leap at the end.

hammer trait needs buffing its weaksauce atm.
The CD is too long. Should make it get 10% more dmg for more sustain because right now hammer is more of a utility then a stand alone dps, sure you can auto atk things to death but the other 3 skills need to do dmg too. It has a good set up but it lacks dmg. Since it has a chill trait it should have more chill things.

Also since the warrior hammer 4 got buffed to be usable while moving can ring of warding get same treatment.

anet shouldnt have paired with ncsoft. ncsoft only cares about the money not about ppl actuly enjoying the game. I wish anet had more freedom and the money spent on gems was used more on the game then ncsofts shady stuff.

why not make hammer f1 do 0 dmg. Atm the bads using hammer only use it for the stun so you havent done anything to hurt the badhammerriders. You just hindered the people who actually use hammer with a brain.

If im right the F1 will do less dmg then auto. Even arcing slice does more then GS auto, this is just sad anet. Balance team plz look at what you do before you do it because reading through all of the balance changes for different classes you guys did terrible.

Rangers needed buffs so thats great and they got nerfed in the endurance departmant. Thats cool
Eles nerfed more.
Wars got buffed in random things where as hammer gets nerfed even more.

why nerfing "Burst Mastery" ?

whole armor is metal and then random cloth pants lmfao. Gloves look like they came from a cartoon. Great helm tho and shoulders arnt too bad but cant say much good for the rest.
