It’s the same game since release. There is literally no new content or anything game changing. I haven’t played in about a month or so now because there is nothing to do. This repetitive thing thats coming from last year only adds to why people are bored of this game.
Lets face it there is no end game and the pvp is full of cheese builds that make playing the game boring. While the fanboys do enjoy running in circles with tank builds in all pvp aspects I don’t see entertainment in it. I played 5k hours of this game and 3k of those hours I repeated everything I had already done in the first 2k hours.
The game has no major content and the things they add they just leave em behind(fractals). Every update adds temporary things most of the time. The 15th feature patch was more of somethings they were supposed to have during release. The game doesn’t focus on all play styles it just focuses on those people who like doing repetitive things and running around in zergs just hitting 1.
When REAL content gets added to the game Im sure more people will come back and play it. Till then there is really nothing for people who have played this game for awhile. I bought the game 2 days after release and played it for a while then took a 6 month break and now again because there is nothing to get online for.
Fanboys will flame and do their forum jobs but thats them. They don’t listen to reason and blindly protect something that does not deliver.
They need to add more solo content and small team content. Things like liadri were great. Give us skill based small group fights and solo stuff. This zerg auto attack stuff is boring and pointless.
Really? The whole entirety of the rest of the game isn’t enough solo content and small team content? Yes, adding the occasional new dungeon would be good, but some people also want HUGE group content, of which there is an insignificant amount when compared to the entire rest of the game.
Ok, it’s great for farming and completing your monthly but, it’s not much fun, you just showing up and spam the 1 key, it get’s old fast.
The game went from no one doing an Event to everyone doing Events!
I just want some way to do temple events, they now seem to be open 24/7. I miss doing temple events with some pug groups!
Sorry, but doing the minimum necessary effort to complete a task is your bad, not theirs. If you find spamming the 1 key to be boring, don’t DO that. Use all your powers, treat the fight like you are the only one there and maybe it will be more fun?
What solo content huh? Aside from the boring personal story and running around maps there is no real solo content. Team content is just dungeons nothing else. EVERYTHING ELSE IS ZERG ZERG ZERG. You can’t lie. I don’t know what game you are playing but 90% of the things in this game are focused on just zerging it. World bosses zerg content, teq and wurm zerg content, wvw zerg content and some small team but even then zergs out do small teams as small teams wont matter if there are lets say 3 30 man zergs around the map, pve events turn into ppl just piling in and killing randomly.
There is nothing for those who want to test their skills on their own because there is no effin solo content. The game forces you to hold hands and mindlessly kill kitten. Liadri was the only thing ppl had to test their own skills on. I mean sure you can go try hard and solo dungeons but those don’t come down to skill most the time it just becomes how you can abuse certain things.
More content like liadri. Less content like teq/wurm. Thanks
I know how you people at anet love npc’s but please. Do not add more npc related nonsense to wvw. Keep that baby business in pve.
smart pve like ogre , dredge or hylek camps are very good type of pve and they need to add more like this or something like wildstar will add as a boss fight after a successfully capture of enemies keep.
mindless pve like centauvs and skirts that are doing nothing excpet make us wasting time to see what is attacking a camp , they should total remove and do not add something like that again.
all npc near wp/towers are good for scouters to pass their time more constructive than just sit there and scout and to increase the weapons stacks
I really don’t consider that smart pve. Its just more things to kill if you are caping a camp. With enough people you will do it fast enough for their npc bs to not matter. Where as if you are alone or duo you mostly avoid these because its a huge waste of time. Edge of the mists is really bad for this case as the players just run around and karma train and farm kills while npc do repairs, auto cannons, really tanky npcs.
If you want more npcs there is always pve. In wvw these things arnt required and I would expect anet to make more player interactive things and less to none pve elements.
ambients are ok but rally mobs is getting annoying. Its already bad enough if you kill half a zerg and they just res the dead guys like nothing happened. Then we got friendly teammates with downs who aoe the hell out of a downed guy with mobs all around to rally them over and over.
The point of this thread is that friendly players who are new or dumb rally the enemy from mobs. Its not that they are trying to troll its just that they are most likely pve heros or just plain dumb.
Also more npcs will only turn wvw into pve version 2. The guards them selves are annoying. Poison/weakness/cripple/blind spam like no ones business. On top of that the eb npcs like dredge who have regen and protection out the kitten . Ogres are the most balanced from these as they just apply weakness and knockdown once in a while. Hylek put poison and knockdown.
Not QQin here if anyone thinks but wvw should be more player v player not player v player sit in camp with npc having a tea party till zerg arrives.

This game does not reward you well for doing high caliber things. Its sad and stupid that way. Who knows maybe they will stop doing this to their player base. Repetitive things should give less gold than once a day fights.
As for enjoying the content… you can really only enjoy something a million times before it becomes repetitive which most things in this game do become very easily.
The most important thing I can tell you OP is DO NOT RUSH THE GAME. You will hate it if you rush through levels just to ’’enjoy’’ whats at 80. There is literally no end game in this game and you are pretty much just competing in a fashion show after hitting 80 and exploring the world map. Dungeons are cool and stuff but don’t go crazy on them because they don’t change(of all the dungeons only fractals/aether path/and some small dungeon modifications have been done since release).
If you rush the game you will hate your self because there isnt a whole lot of content since everything that comes out is gone within a month. Temporary content is not the right path but they don’t listen.
Speaking from experience I have nothing left to keep my mind busy with this game. I just get on and afk because there is nothing to do at the moment. I played and rushed through the game and don’t have an incentive to play till something worthwhile is introduced.
So enjoy your time and play at your pace don’t hurry for anything.

stop being kittens guise. The op has a point. Pve ppl shouldn’t have to come to wvw to do pve things. They should just remove the wvw requirement for pve 100% map completion. I my self have it and didn’t really care because I play all aspects of the game but it isn’t fair for the people who just want to play the game in their own play style. Sure everyone looks down upon it but they bought the game too so let them have their fun in pve without being forced to come to wvw.
I find it really sad when I see a pve player walking around in wvw trying to get the map completion and I never attack them because it looks painful runnin all around the map being forced to do something you don’t want to do.
If anet can go ahead and remove the wvw maps requirement from the PVE world map that would be great. It is a kitten move to force the last 4% on them in wvw when 96% of it is pve.
EQ2 has effect crafting. Also, effect items drop as loot from boss chests.
Since someone else has done it, I doubt it will happen here.
this is an mmo where you kill countless things in order to be blessed by the rng gods for that certain item. This has been done too but look its in this game aswell!
They will NEVER put a bank in mists for a simple reason … it would be infinitely more convenient than convenience they’re selling via ship passes.
Oh look we can just press B and go to a place with everything near by for no extra costs. They call it wvw and it has access to pretty much everything you could need in a close area. So because of this there is no real reason to why they cant just add these npcs around hotm like wvw has them.
anyone who says, ‘’wp is just a gold sink they need it!’’ Don’t please just don’t. There are WAY too many gold sinks as it is and silly things like that are not a legit reason to why somethings aren’t the way they should be.
10% my butt the overall dmg now sucks. My ranger that had 100% crit dmg now has like 69% crit dmg. Dps got wrecked. They just keep making the game zerg friendly. They want everyone to run in a zerg and hold hands in their ptv gear. Is it too much to ask for redonk hp/armor builds that still do dmg to go away because they require no skill at all.
Let us salvage this gear for the runes we put in them so all the players with banks full of these armors that they put expensive runes into can be gotten back. I have over 100g worth of runes/azurite stuff in my bank that I can’t do anything with.
The salvage should only give us the rune/sigil not any mats or anything to keep it fair. Please Anet let us salvage our karma/wvw gear to get our sigils/runes back to use on other things.
can they let us salvage our wvw/orr gear for our god kitten runes. I have 5 sets of armor sitting in my bank waiting if i can get my god kitten runes off them. I spent over 100g on those runes and i cant do anything with them because i made new builds so the old combos fail. I dont want any other mats just let me salvage that gear for my kitten runes.

Not getting anything useful period. They should atleast do something with fractal rings and stuff. The rewards are low for fractals. You can do an ac path for more gold and less time/effort. That just sad.

Im kittening sick and tired of getting nothing day after day of these kittening bullkitten runs. I’ve gone past 30 fractals with 0 kittening drops. I’ve been doing a 15-20/21-30/31-39 fractal everyday for the past month. Just hit 500 fractals right now and didnt get anything. It was a fractal 38.
If you wont give us equal rewards as the other dungeon players get then there is no reason to do fractals. It takes longer than your average dungeon and it gives less drops. For finishing a fractal you wont even get something most the time.
This has gone on for too long. GIVE US OUR kittenING DROPS. Ive gotten 1 dagger from 500 fractals. 1 dagger….
We cant even do anything with those rings after we get the ones we need. So even those go to waste. Atleast give us a guranteed drop of something at the end fractal. It is pretty stupid to give nothing for the end reward.
Didn’t want to post this but its getting ridiculous now. Anet you make us fractal players feel like an afterthought.
you cant compare condis to zerker. Zerker needs 3 dif stats to do dmg and its dmg starts right away but you can die right away too. Condis need 1 stat the other is optional. Condis do dmg over time and can go crazy. You can be tanky or have heals to keep you going as condi unlike zerker.
If anything Condis need a nerf. They are based on 1 stat and you just need to grab that one thing and then the rest you can stack up on hp and armor. Condis have no set balance at all. But condis only work in small fights or things like spvp/tpvp. In zerg fights condi clears happen alot and zerk/power builds are best for that.
1 piece of wvw gear takes longer to get then 1 piece of dungeon gear. The drop rate for badges is low. They should make them salvagable or at least let us salvage them for the rune only and nothing else. I dont care for ecto/incrip/mat.. i just want my freakin runes/sigils.
cant do anything with them man. I have so many pieces sitting around takin space up in my bank that i dont use anymore. I have expensive runes stuck in some of them and dont wish to waste trans stones on em. Just wish we could salvage this stuff.
im almost close to 500 fractals and ive gotten 1 frac dag and 1 shamans wep chest. 70% of those fractals i didnt even get a drop(ring/wep/chest). I really hate how anet has screwd the fractal players for so long. Maybe there is hope for us in the feature patch.
I have a question and Im pretty sure it is obvious. What if someone bought 2 sets of skins that were the same for gems. Will they get a refund? I bought 2 brahams maces and armor skins and 2 primeval skins. Will i get compensation for 1 set of each?
The Heavy armor for aetherblade gloves lets females color the glowy light part where the male one doesn’t. Can this please be fixed. I know its not a big issue but why do females get to color the inner part while males cant. :/

well… What about the bugs that get us killed like bulls rush, rush, earthshaker, and flurry? Will those ever get fixed for sucking or will only the ’’advantage’’ bugs will get a fix?
I mean its not like those skills have been bugged like that since release or anything.
Does not affect me at all(maybe I should have mentioned that in my post) but I would imagine it affects Anet’s bottom line. If more players use this method I’m sure some adjustments will be made. If not, somewhere down the line it will affect me because Anet will make less money. That’s not something I want to happen.
