If you are in kaineng, you have no doubt seen me fighting in WvW, for I am Oscuro. I can assure you there are more than ten people. The problem is that recently a lot of our WvWers have gone to PvE for the new Lions Arch event. Yes, we have lost a lot of WvW guilds, but look at our BL. Whenever I on, we hold out. Our keeps rarely fall (especially hills ) We thrive when it comes to Roaming and small group play. If you need someone to roam with, shoot me a whisper in WvW. There’s plenty of activity in our wvw, you just need to know where to be. (Don’t go to EB, that’s kind of hopeless right now). ALSO, do not “axe” t8 servers. That’s a terrible idea. I came to Kaineng from Yaks, which before I was in BG a long time ago. The lack of ques and small group roaming is great. We are low tier because we don’t have numbers, it’s not a lack of skilled players our server is fun (for me) and getting rid of it would be upsetting for others too.

Its been 4 weeks. The last time i saw more then 15 people was couple days after the escape from LA event started. I wont lie to you my good sir. Removing it isnt the best option but look at it. The last time someone came here they made it worse because all of them ditched it and the guilds that were here since release left aswell. It became two times as worse as it was in december 2012.

Rebuild with defense. Take what you have and don’t over extend what you can’t defend. Know when servers are weak and when to ride the coat tails of another dominate server. The most important thing is getting the puggies into the server TS. Ebay’s numbers atm, according to mos, look as if it would be a close match between ET and Kain.

IMO Anet should axe T8/9 in EU and T8 in NA. Give those players a free transfer up T5/6.

We get pushed to our last keep every day/night. The enemy numbers only increase. They fail 4 attack attempts they come back with enough people to que the map to just take that one keep from us 10 or so folks.

There is a very good reason as to why there is no dueling in the game.

The game is balanced around 5v5 not 1v1.
Dueling would lead to massive amounts of threads with people whining about how X is much better than Y and how it is impossible to defeat A with B and so on.

The game isnt balanced around any given number. So excuses like that make no sense. Dueling is a 1v1 thing. Let the people who want to duel in pve. Who ever dosent give them an auto decline setting. Simple. Everyone one gets what they want.

I met this necro in eotm. He went supersayain and killed me while i was using all my mobility skills on a warrior. I knew something was up with him when he ran circles around a zerg and dosent take much dmg since ppl are like ‘’kitten is he on’’ I got him to chase me but as you know a necro with speed will be a nightmare for any poor soul… there was no escape.

You obviously made your post based on assumptions. If you were" surprised to find our it has enough people for pvd," you had assumptions on which you based your post.

The lower tiers have also changed quite a bit. They used to be far more static and boring. People have transfer off and down to the lower tiers and it is quite a bit more fun that it used to be down here.

I wvw with the same 10 ppl across all 4 maps lol. Then some days the pve heros show up and after they die they leave. Its not easy covering the whole 4 maps with 10 ppl against zergs of 40+ people.

Kaineng isnt going any where soon. Theres about 10 ppl running around in wvw while any server that enters t8 just wrecks it. Can we please get a merge or something. Its been a year of this and its sad. The bandwagon that guilds i will not name crashed this server to this kitten hole it is now. Its not going to get anywhere unless a guild transfers to help or something. Because kainengs pop is all pve now and even then our pve is terrible.

If you care anet stop the torture. At least make transfers free to it. I don’t see how it has a very high pop. We cant even overflow main LS event areas.

Listen here OP. If you base drops on how ppl afk you are saying nothing related for ppl killing the boss for actual drops.
This game already gives nothing for drops and when something comes around people like you make threads like this.

I thought id just let you guys know again that condis are needed for the most important part of the fight. The burst phase needs da condi spammers. So you guys do matter. Sure not in the beginning but in the most important part. Without you the full zerk guys wont be doing max dmg to it at burst phase.

So basically you wanna combine the most overpowered portions of the most overpowered classes, Guardian, Warrior, Elementalist and mesmer into one single class for you to steamroll everything and everyone.

Uhm, no thank you, it’s good enough a it is and to be honest the class name itself is ludicrous to say the least, sounds like some bad religious cult.

I’d rather they introduce:
- more weapons skills to allow for customization on current weapons in the game.
- new weapon types to expand said customization.
- new elite skills
- new races, like kodan or the lagos, NO to tengu and NO to skritt (seriously)

I love people like you. Calling something out while you haven’t even tried it. Btw ele is no shape or form an op class. Its mostly a free kill now days.

no contact skills look like gw2. In contact theres added effects.

Its not hard to put blood or other various effects upon hit. Even the bow skills look lame. It may be generic but a lot of games have put effects in to every class. Instead of leaving one out because ‘’its so generic bro’’

The problem i see is that your trying to compare completely different art styles with your youtube videos. Such as :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRh6Ai79lI0 your trying to point out the use of lights on every attack. Those light effects take a lot especially to make them work well with the art design.

If you cared to notice the game shown has poor environmental detail and more on the players. GW2 has far more detail in the environment and in your character rendering than that game.

Those are unneeded effects that do not convey any information and would cause a lot more issues in this game compared to those games. That game is using a standard static combat where the dodging and block are up to probability. GW2 is a dynamic combat game and like other dynamic combat games do not have flashy graphics on every skill as it places unnecessary work on the servers/client. As well it would make combat harder to view as your closer to the battle.

If you noticed in the video the camera is all the way back and above the character. This allows less distraction from flashy skills, and you don’t need to be aware of when to dodge since it is tied to a probability. GW2 you need to know when to dodge but if all you can see if a big flashy skill that you cast than you are just killing yourself.

Skills are plain in this game to reduce system load and to make attacks obvious. As well spell effects on skills are limited to the weapons rather than the skills.

Skills are plain for only those classes made to be plane. Engis can light up the world along with guards. Gotta tell ppl to not use flashy attacks sometimes because you cant even see what you’re trying to hit.

Some classes have overly thrown effects where others have none.

As for that game its pretty old and it dosen’t share the same art style of gw2, but gw2 isnt full realistic. It’s half and half. Because of the effects on all the classes have flashy things.

Warrior has the least. Theif comes before war and so on. Even thief has attacks with effects. I mean if a warrior can throw a sword thats almost as big as him. You might want to put some effects on that or it looks silly. The trail effects on every warrior skill are the most lazily done.

Im not here to argue or anything but sure effects aren’t needed because they don’t fit gw2s art style. Which is why the other classes shouldn’t have over the top effects if not all classes can get em.

Keep it fair or leave it to no where.

Also your comment about blood. There is no blood in this game to reduce the rating so they won’t add it. Also, your being hit with a plain arrow or being hit with a plain axe. There isn’t really any realistic effects you can add that does not take a large amount of processing power to accomplish.

GS/sword auto melee. Blood. Pistol shots. Blood. Shoot a door with a rifle or pistol. Blood idk why.

Ranger Pets Overpowered?

Why do rangers even have pets? They are unneeded and useless. If you’re gona keep em least make em useful. If you play as a ranger and fight someone with a decent knowledge of the game your pet wont matter. When i fight a ranger I atk them and ignore pet. If its a condi/BM ranger then pet dies first but they can switch it out for another and if done right pretty much have perma pet since CD is 20s for pet reswap unless you kill it then its 60s.

They need to give rangers an option to stow pet and gain some of its stats and abilities for those who don’t want to play ranger with pet.

BTW. DOUBLE HYENAS ANYONE. CC FO DAYZ!

Makes it seem like you got immobilized but i doubt anything can immobilize me when nothing is around :P
It puts you in the immobilize animation and stops you place. You have to use a mobility skill to get out of it.

Speaking of that. Getting stuck in texture is another. Got immobilized as an ele/thief/mes? Gonna blink? Cant move for no understandable reason? Also have to use a mobility skill for that.

I think it should be as
Light side for heals/cleanse
Dark for dps/condis
Utilities will be basically to increase each sides effect or wep skills.
Of course balancing this would be hard so anet wont probably do it since they can barley handle whats on their plate currently.

btw might want to add Lance to mainhand for lance/shield. Because lances are kitten. Jes.

Proposal Overview
Molten fractal and molten boss fractal getting end chest rewards equal to other fractals.’

Goal of Proposal
Currently the molten fractal(weapon test facility one) Gives only one item/relic/infusion. Sometimes it will give normal drops like 3 items. All other fractals give 3 items/relic/infusion. Same goes for the molten boss fractal. I don’t know if this is a bug or something but it would be nice if they rewarded you just like the other fractals.

Proposal Functionality
Simple, give these two fractals the same level rewards of the other fractals.

Associated Risks
No real risks as it will give rewards at the same level of all the other fractals.

I like the attunement idea since both light and medium armor have something similar to that and they cant switch weapons.

I don’t know about the skills and stuff but Anet needs to make an attunement based heavy class with no weapon switching.

Farmers and Botters would love this. We do have diminishing returns for a reason after all.

i hate this game for that. They kitten over EVERYONE to hurt bots. Instead of actually going out and doing bot whipes from the most common places in the game. They instead introduce a system that makes the lives of players terrible. kitten drop on top of kitten drop is all that is in gw2. Its so random that someone who never pves goes to pve from spvp kills 1 mob and gets a precursor. Where as someone who has been in pve since release and over 4k hours hasnt had anything close to that.

This system in the game currently is stupid. It hurts the active community in order to combat the bots. This is the total wrong thing to do and people have been trying to get them to change it since release. But stupid as it may be no one in anet cares for fair drops.

End of the day they just dont care and would rather kitten everyone over to make it harder for bots to get drops.

dont bother with vets. They pretty much have no reason to be killed unless an event or thingy forces you. They drop kittenty loot as normal mobs with a 0.0000000000000000001% chance of better drop. All the drops in this game suck bawlz. So really no point in complaning.

What I hate about vengence is that if you got downed by a condi and you killed the person that put the condi on you… YOU STILL WONT RALLY. That is utter horse kitten. Also the timer needs to be 1 second less because you wont even get to use it if a person starts stomp right when you get downed.

support level OVA 9000. They also need to make the single sided shoulders be able to go on both sides or switch to other. I would love this feature and have wanted something like this for a long while. The barbaric and t1 human shoulders would look sick on both sides or opposite sides. The arah ones with the left side only would look great as well.

They should also add option to wear two different looking shoulders that could be pretty cool.

Offhand is a useless piece of kitten anyway. As for the effects, yeah needs fixing.

And on Rangers. Sure Whirling Defence will do in a pinch but it’s super unreliable.

lolwhat its about path of scars, whirling defense is just the nice build-in reflection and finisher.

If only MH axe didnt suck donkey eggs i would go Axe/axe on ranger. I seems double axe always gets shafted.

remove the AOE cap, and WWW / open world zerging is fixed.

add mobs cleaves and PVE stacking is fixed.

i agree with the aoe cap but mob cleave isnt needed because most mob auto atks hurt enough that giving them more power would just be redonk.

I think they would(for pve) put in boon removal pull/push skills on mobs to keep ppl from stacking.

people in spvp/tpvp will use fotm builds because they are uncreative and cant think of anything but the most noob proof cheese builds in the game. You cant do anything to talk anet out of making things like this because what little of the spvp/tpvp community left will QQ all over the forums in which case effect wvw/pve players.

People will play meta and copy/paste builds because they don’t want to put in effort to make something of their own. Why do you think there’s a evade spam condi ranger/terror necro/pu mesmer/hambow/healway condi engi in every game? Because these builds are easy to play and don’t require much to play these builds as all the atk chains are straight forward.

The map it self is great. Whats holding is back is the kitten s who come on it to zerg. There are zergs everywhere. I think they could add anti zerg mechanics to this map and it will be great. Limit the over all pop 50 players per side per overflow. If more then 10 players in one area they all get spotted and everyone on the map can see thier location. Along with that a debuff that scales down thier stats by X%

Come on anet. Dont destroy this beautiful map.

why just give them another version of the GS?

Im thinking why just give them an axe why not a 2h axe that the axe head is connected to the polearm by a chain.

The whole skill set of this thing could be it doing more dmg to crippled/immobilized foes. It could finely feature a pull skill for warrior and it should be single target for balance sake. The f1 could do an aoe attack that does 25% more dmg to crippled/immobilized foes and 25% more dmg if their hp is under 50%.

Don’t just give warriors another boring GS variant. Give them a fun weapon to use.

I agree that this weapon would be more interesting with different mechanics involved, and would be more about soft CC against the target. Here it comes, BUT the burst skill you came up with is too powerful. A possible 50% damage increase? I am sorry but that is too much. Maybe, if you wanted to go with your specifications, a 10% damage increase if both requirements are met, but I find that a bit much as well. It depends on how many targets this supposed burst skill would hit, and how much base damage it does as well as how it scales.

In my opinion a good burst skill would be what was featured with the costume brawl skill. An AoE pull (similar to guardians “Binding Blade” skill) That pulls more people and does more damage at different levels. Now keep in mind this skill would do relatively low damage with 0-1 bar of adrenaline and maybe pull 3 people at one. With progressing bars going up to 4, and 5 people. I don’t really feel like crunching numbers for damage output. That would depend on the weapons base damage anyways.

I like the ideas but remember we need this skill to be fair to all. There are enough people complaining about warrior now, we don’t need more.

oh whoops that wasnt supposed to be tat op. I think the f1 should scale like evi/kill shot do but along with an added bonus of a small percent if target has cripple/immobilize.
