It wouldn’t. People who WvW are so opposed to anything involving siege its beyond ridiculous. A lot of people saw no impact from these hammers as shown in this thread, and yet people are still complaining about the “impact” that they had.

Why do you need to repair your siege? Move on and fight. And if your tower siege get’s downed that is life, deal with it. Nobody wants to stand around and repair your walmart siege!

It would be nice if they would just somehow make them account wide for your max level toons.

Open field siege is a cop out. Either way does not matter servers like NSP, DB, SBI all run from open field fights. All they can do is run back in their tower or keep. Otherwise they die. Even if they were to try open field siege they would still die….

I want to see FA and SoS(my current server) matched up. I have a few peeps that need to be taught a lesson….

I just do not think it was a good idea really. Takes away from the game imo. But maybe that is just me.

I do not have my builds with me. But if you in game message me I can get them to you this evening. I do not do PvP so you will have to find someone that can help you with that. Also as one who was against DH when it first came out, I really like it. Even more so than old guard. You can get a nice mix of abilities as well. I feel it is a fun class especially in WvW.

I do not really like the the large PvE based groups anymore. I did like doing DS Meta at one point. But now it seems as if there is just a bunch of noobs who have no clue. You try to help them understand what needs to be done in order of people to get maximum rewards, but they simply do not listen. I hate to say it but most of these new players that have purchased Gw2 with HoT in the last year do not care about anyone but themselves. IT has become quite toxic as well…..

It seems like most of this community would prioritize overpowered abilities rather than fun or interesting design, which is pretty kitten embarrassing honestly. Tomes were removed because of this, and -given the opportunity- I bet everyone would support that change again.

Not only are they defensive and offensive respectively, but they’re both very good elites as well. I dare say that Renewed Focus is one of the best elites in the game.

It was only OP because people have no clue how to play! Get good or get out. I never once went down due to the tome lol. It can hurt sure, but traps for DH hurt worse lol. It’s the same for any ability. Learn to recognize them and defend yourself from them.

Instead of Dolyak carrying supplies to the castle/keep, let the players do this job. Upon deaths, players lose 50% of their supplies and drop them on the ground. Enemy players can pick them up. You will lose all of your supplies once you leave the map.

This will make zerg team wipe more rewarding and crucial. Roamers can achieve a lot more, creating difference in the map by sapping their enemy’s supplies. Defending and raiding supplies will become significant factors. Small and big team fights will happen a lot more often.

I’m proposing this idea, because the supply camps don’t matter in WvW. You can simply resupply from EoTM or other maps and come back. That’s just silly. By applying these changes, there will be more things to give crap about in WvW. Every death matters. If you fail to maintain the supply camps, you have options to flip the supply camp, and play defensively, or raid your enemies because you’re a killer. Everyone should be able to contribute to the map in the way they prefer to do so.

Do you guys think this will make WvW more interesting for both pugs and those pvp junkies in zerg squads?

I disagree. This would make it very difficult if not impossible to defend. I also think we have way bigger issues than this for WvW that need fixing.

Seems to me with all the Condi based players out there now, that this elite would be great for Bombing the enemy Zerg. I use to wreck people with this skill if I timed it right. I think it deserves a second look.

I just moved to SoS and there is always someone tagged up. Seems pretty active to me. And it seems to be growing quick as well.

I think just put the oldest system in place. It was not broken until Anet tried to fix something that was not broke. Just saying. I love WvW and I love Gw2 as a game. But the more Anet tries to fix it the worse it gets.

It is almost as if they have no Veteran players at Anet that understand the greatness that once was WvW. Maybe it is just me? But I was always taught that if something is not broke, there is no reason to try and fix it.

That would be really difficult. They would have to totally rework that map. I do not see this happening. They need to fix balance and stability for WvW above and beyond anything else in WvW.

I see what your saying. But I think if you made it food that could only be purchased by WvW Badges and also made it so it was soulbound or account bound. That way the market does not take a big hit. PvE and Raids will still need food correct? Should not affect the market to much really.

Easy fix here. Do not allow transfers for 2 months after a person decides to transfer. That way they have to make it work with the server they are on. I know Anet will not do that because that is a big money maker for them. But it would fix a lot of issues. Not all of them mind you, but it would be a great step in the right direction. I feel if you win you go up a tier, and if you loose you go down. That simple……

Ya yesterday in Fractals it was stupid bad. I was rubber banding so bad it caused me to dies in low lvl fractals. And WvW let’s not even go there EBG was horrid. It took like 5-7 seconds to complete use a skill….

What we fight for? If we lose the keeps and towers, we lose nothing. We still have money, my armor and weapons.

I think we might add some goals to do wvw. In my opinion, I would add some rule like if our world lose a fight this week, we might pay more gold to buy stuff. Something like that. Getting boosts feel nothing. Or if we win a fight this week, we will get some special items or some titles or anything. I think we need a gold to do wvw.
by the way, I even cannot know who kills me in the wvw. because that doesn’t show the name but titles. I think we might let ppl know who kill them in wvw. It will be fun.

Please just fix the lopsided balance in WvW first before any other tournaments. I love WvW , and yes another tournament would be epic!! But it would be better if they fixed WvW balance first imho.

Me personally I play for the WvW content. DO not care for PvE or PVP. All I know is that WvW is completely messed up right now. I hope they fix it soon. Last reset was a F****** joke for real! We came in 2nd place and dropped a tier. Anet fix WvW please!

I think FA belongs in T4 and Sos belongs in T3.

If you look at the beginning of the fight, yb set a healing deal out for their guy. So the necro interference was justified.

After last night’s reset I a

OK typically I stay out of the forums. But this issue hits home. I have a brand new PC and I am assured by my Brother and Friend who build and work on PC’s for a living that this is Anet’s issue and not on my end at all. Please fix this as WvW is no fun with a 5 second skill lag! You are pushing long time veterans as well as new players away from Gw2! Stop making new outfits, gliders, and harvesting tools and fix the game!!!!

That happens if many people come to the forum to complain that everything is too hard, you get content which is faceroll easy and boring as hell. :-(

To me it is easy. That is not the issue. It just feels super repetitive to me. Unlike Tyria. The maps look and even sound great. Just find it super boring as of late.

Wow peeps are harsh. They already told us what to expect in April. The fact that they are fixing things is a great step! Rome was not built in a day, so chill and wait. Complaining about it all the time only discourages others to continue playing.

Bashing Bauxite Alchemicals still bugged out. I would appreciate a response to this issue. I know from playing since the start it has been very buggy, but it is impossible to finish events for the legendary crafting.
