I will try to keep this positive, but not sure if it will come off as that!

So I did the LS. The beginning got me excited as I thought it would be similar to the story that happened with LA. But alas it was not! No large groups of people fighting together for a common goal.

The new map (to me) was very disappointing. It feels like you took the last two maps you have created, slapped them together and made the NPC’s a bit tougher.

TBH I was really hoping it would be more a big group thing. Kinda of like the whole Scarlet story. All in all I give it a 4 out of 10.

I do appreciate having new content, but maybe next time we can have more of a group effort like we did with a few of the previous story lines.

I hope this all makes sense, and is not taken as negative. It is obviously just my opinion on the new LS.

If you do not play WvW you obviously have no clue why most seem unhappy. I do appreciate Anet trying to make things better. I am trying to stay positive but it does seem that most of the changes to WvW are merely superficial. Although I do like some of the changes to the Red BL. And being able to use the portable provisioner on the run is kinda nice when you need siege or food. I can only hope that Anet keeps striving to better WvW.

The play style has changed so much that it is mostly huge zerg vs huge zerg. And more casters than melee too. But maybe that is simply due to the fact that newer players like casters and feel more comfortable in the back line? Either way I hope someday they can make it like it once was, when WvW was the best part of the game!

Nothing they can do. They can not control the weather! That’s like saying I am disappointed that the airline won’t fly me to Miami cause there is a hurricane.

Ya I just read they have cancelled the LS as well as all other Gw2 related updates, and just gone straight to making Gw3…

TC does not need a link. All you do is hide behind your siege anyway! There is maybe 1-2 guild groups that know how to fight open field. As far as I am concerned TC should not receive any buffs unless they come out to fight us, instead of hiding behind walls.

If you like PvE then maybe. If you are just in it for WvW or PvP then no.

I think there should be a penalty system for this. If you alt F4 you should not be able to get back on for a few hours. Just my opinion.

Someones a special snowflake. Finds one bug complains the game is unplayable. Thinking maybe you opened your mouth and inserted your foot and it is stuck in there now! Yo realize what your saying has no validity to it? You want Anet to create a dungeon team to meet your needs? Sounds like you need a participation trophy and safe space to cry in.

I just to turn the game music down and listen to my music. The game music is good and all, but I really tire of it after a time.

Whatever you decide try to stay away from the Metta crap. There are much better builds out there. I love my DH! Especially in WvW so much fun!

All this would do is create more drama in Mpa Chat! Which is something that is not needed. I agree that certain upgrades should be first. And it would be nice if people would realize that. But sometimes you just can’ fix stupid.

HA so funny. 95% of the groups from NSP and CD just can’t fight open field. Numbers or not. Wen you can win a 10 on 40 you know something aint right! I certainly hope that we go up from T4 . T4 is just to easy. Your right FA never belonged in T4 lol.

This must be for PvE or PvP. I guess you could use it for roaming in WvW but you might get wrecked.

Sorry I think this would not work at all. EB is not the issue. All of WvW needs fixing atm. There is to long of a list to go into atm. However I do appreciate people bringing ideas to the table. I just do not see how this fixes anything, but rather makes it more convoluted. Just my two cents.

Stop making CD a host server, last merging we didn’t win a single week out of the 9 weeks we were merged, and most those weeks we had a max of 5 first place skirmish victories throughout an entire week. Stop. Everyone left CD when you guys made it a 4server merge and stuck us in t4 for 5/6 weeks with no way to get out until you manually adjusted our glicko.

CD needs it lol. Ya’ll a bunch of pew pew, spam 1, fight under siege guilds. CD blob of 40 could not even handle a open field fight with our 15 peeps lol. Better yet Maybe Anet should give you one more server so I can get even more bags lol.

DH can go play in the freeway! Terrible link imo. Most do not know how to do more than spam 1.

Nah FA is the redheaded step child that Anet never loved lol. They will never give us what we want.

Ya a few of my guildies and I were in EBG during reset night. We WP back to spawn to help save home tower. I was ported to LA, another to Divinity’s reach and another to FA BL. And there were ques so we had to wait to get back in. Kind of annoying.

With FA pounding on CD, they’re more likely to stay in T4 thanks to a glicko handicap (CD took glicko from FA due to the same reason).

And CD has such an issue with coverage outside of late NA Prime, it’s not terribly funny. FA seems to produce decent sized zergs at most times of day, and even on reset had 20+ depth map queues on each map. CD can map queue EBG during NA Prime on a daily basis, and maybe have a <10 queue on CDBL at the same time. Otherwise, queue free.

Ya some of us thought of just taking the week off. But that won’t help either. CD has numbers they just can not fight in open field very well. I wish matchups were based upon skill instead of points. But I imagine that would be tough to do.

Such a good money maker in game!!!

This would be fantastic! Would be a very effective tool for WvW and one they should be able to implement very easily.

Ya I am on FA and we got stuck in T4. The bags are epic. But the fights are not fun 90% of the time. Most of these people we face get one pushed. Not because of superior numbers either. Would be nice to be back in T2 or T3 were there is at least some competition…..

As a last ditch effort to hold onto our keep I went up to a vista and waited till any enemy came to me. I then used the vista so it would make me invulnerable as I watched the cutscene. But it did not work. As I was watching the cutscene I saw my character knocked back off the top and died from falling. So…why wasn’t the invulnerability function working?

That’s called chicken kitten cheating…..

You must be in like tier 5 or something. FA has jumped from 1-3-2-3-4 and we always have fights. Usually there are ques as well. So not sure where your at but you are wrong about 90% my friend.

I get what your trying to say. I have enjoyed previous WvW tournaments very much. But at this time a Tournament would really hurt WvW. They have issues that need to fixed before that can be a thing again.

Was not so much a troll as trying to get your attention. How can you cry like a little kid about dying to DH. There are many many ways to fight a DH. And if you do not know then you should not complain. Just saying your complaining about being uniformed about how to fight a certain class. Do your homework and do not complain.

I know Anet does work on WvW stuff. But to me it feels like if they are it is a very slow and lethargic when it comes to WvW. The matchups no longer make sense. When you come in 2nd in tier 2 and you are shoved to tier 4. I mean the bags are great there, but if can kill 10+ by myself and I am super tanky as a DH you know something is wrong.

Might get me back into Fractals again if that were to happen. Maybe……

That’s why I never go along with these so called “truces”. I will attack any enemy on any BL. Regardless of what other people are doing. Ridiculous!!

There is a pretty easy counter play. You need 2 things. Game awereness and condi cleanse.
A stun breaker could be usefull but I assume every decent build would have at least 1 .
Trapper thieves also have to 100% commit into the aggression so it balances things out.

It would be nice to know for sure who will be linked with who. Makes helping out the linked server(s) better.

You do not have to come to the Red BL. But you will miss epic fights like this then!

I Like my Logitech. Have had it for almost 3 years, and have had 0 issues.

Do not get me wrong. It is not my favorite map. But sometimes it can be fun.

No. I do not like that part of it. That is cheating and should not be in the game or tolerated. I am taking about for open field fights. It makes it much more fun with all the cool choke points, and other attributes that come with a large map.

I would not say HoT was a bust. There are things I like about HoT and maybe a few more things I do not like about it. To bad they could not get the perfect balance. But I guess that is tough to do, and please everyone at the same time.
