I wouldn’t think I’d be getting so many conflicting results…

My class weakness (Ele) is not having heavy armor, not having double health bars, not being able to Stealth, not being able to work with conditions, etc… etc…

Force stacks with itself, or at least it did few months back when tested in the mists. I would be surprised if it was changed after that, but it might get changed in the next patch. I was too lazy to test any 10% sigils because that can’t be done in the mists, but I know at least undead doesn’t stack with itself so force might very well be the only one that does.

I wish ANet was more clear about these effects, just like they were with the tooltips on traits and Skills. It doesn’t make sense that the community has to do all the testing for ourselves. And not many of us know how to test them out anyway

If you equip Sigil of Force on MH and OH do they work together adding +10% more damage?

seems like a bad timing to me with your lightning flash. (it could turn red as soon as you click it and you wouldn’t know)
but Ride of lightning do seems glitchy, sometimes I don’t even stop at 1200 and continue for about 600 additional range

For a second I get to see that I’ve teleported just to send me back to the starting place

While running, holding down W and/or R if I press Lightning Flash and target the ground area (and it’s a green ground-target zone, on a field) I’ve started getting failures to teleport to the spot I clicked. It just fails.

Same thing happens with Ride the Lightining where if in WvW mainly, I usually get get the whole effect but when it ends it just glitches me back to half the range size. So instead of RTL going for 1200 range, I get 1200 range then glitch to 600-900, like I haven’t used it at all.

Funny, the first 8 months of GW2 release I played different playstyles on my Ele (started as Valkyrie, tried Carrion, then went Soldier’s and Cleric’s) but after I discovered how GREAT Berzerker’s is I almost completely stopped playing the rest setups.

I’d say make everything bigger, minis are too small, weapons are too small on asura, even on humans they could’ve been bigger (at least some thin ones like staves), same goes with backpieces

May I ask if people who’re crafting ascended zerker armors should be worried? It does cost a lot to craft it.

I have no problem in giving some metalic pieces t light armor in a new gemstore armor set, or making heavy armor with cloth dominating. I already have a vision how they could make them work out but still be recognized as Light/Heavy armor… too bad others don’t share my vision in diversity

Scarlet reveals that she was holding back ANet and now that we’re going to defeat her, their hands are freee once again!

In theory it should be simple, expanding the current zone limitations. Eventually I would hope that ANet would merge zones into a bigger one. For example, merge Queensdale with Kessex Hills, or even go further and make a North Kryta zone including: Queensdale, Kessex Hills, Gandarrian Fields and Harathi Hinterlands.

Now with this idea many would mention drawbacks. To me a draw back would be different levels of monster which could easily be adjusted by just placing Warning signs down the main road.

Since I’m no comp wiz I do not know if machinery is capable of handling higher limits of people, but this would definitely benefit all.

OR Add a Map Chat that’s spreading across neighbor zones. Although I prefer the first option.

Since we’re on about market education, it’s time for me to teach you why this thread is redundant.

There are several groups of people.

1. The opportunists selling their stacks and waiting for the price to drop. They like the price being high and will sell off all they can find while the iron’s hot.

2. The people, such as myself, sitting on thousands going “I have money but there is nothing I want to buy.” So when something like this comes along, we have a reason to buy. We have the resources to buy. We don’t care that the price is inflated. We just want to enjoy our new toys and feel better with our (kitten near negligible) improvement.

3. The people that absolutely will not buy at the price it’s at, seeing the price going higher and complaining about it. So they go out and play the game, salvaging what they can to gather their own resources.

4. The people preying on hype and scaremongering. The flippers. They are artificially raising the price as they compete with each other and the demand is high enough from group 2 that nobody cares enough about it.

So which group are you blaming for this economic crisis and how do you plan to get through to them that what they’re doing is wrong? You’re finger pointing but providing NO solutions to fix anything.

If you didn’t stress out right now and bought in quantity, the prices wouldn’t increase. Since demand now is much higher (after few reddit pots that scared crafters out) there’s no sense in buying any Scraps right now. Trust me they’ll go down in price.

Call me your Angel that will save you gold. Craft what you can, craft those time-based parts and leave the finishing touches (turning them to Damask) for later

The amount of time you’d spend getting 5 Tickets is absurd. You’d get a lot more gold by just farming it for that amount of time (dungs, champs, world bosses)

Somehow I always found myself using this with Staff as I went for EA, but with the recent shift to EA few more build variations opened and I’m actually thinking completely going out of Arcana and focusing even more on DPS.

As I’ve said that, what do other Eles think. Since most encounters in PvE is single-target or you try to bunch them as much as possible (in dungeons, fractals) how bad or how good would you be without Blasting Staff.

OFC this is no theorycrafting I’d really want to hear experienced people who’ll share their personal experiences in different situations in PvE (farming, dungs, fractals, solo, bosses, etc…)

Guys you’re forgetting that Ascended weapons should be a line between Exotics and Legendary. Cost wise, 200g is just the right amount to fulfill that line.
On the other hand Anet made Ascended to give people goals. Getting Ascended right away might be a hard thing for a newbie but that’s ok, they need to slowly build to the place 1-year olds are right now.

As someone who played from release I’m still not feeling the cost in Empyreal or Dragonite. I DID feel the need for them when they were released first but I already have so many saved in my storage that it’s a releaf to get cleared of it.

If your server does WvW, Empyreal can be farmed very easy without you even feeling like you’re in a farm. I suggest a good mix of WvW and few speedruns in dungeons. But mostly WvW

Arcane as effective as it used to be. Nothing much changed in my build spec. If I went for an optimal, comfortable build I’ll always have 20 water, 30 arcana. If I went for full Dps I’m losing Arcana to 10 points.

I dunno what to say, the higher the gem the higher the prices of Legendaries go it seems. It’s cool that with Gem you can get nice gold but at what price, inflation of other things achievable?

If you salvage less than 10 don’t be surprised if you happen to not get favorable results, its hard to call it a bug with such low sample. And I’ve been salvaging exotics for a while now so I can tell when there’s a difference with lower results and RNG. I wouldn’t post it if I though it was just my bad luck.

Are you all using master/mystic salvage kit?

It’s the fact that I’m salvaging crafted exotics with BLSK and in like 40 exotics I barely got 7ish ectos.

Some users can crack it up by weapon swapping/tonic trick. I dunno the right combo but Guardians can achieve this very well. Poor Eles can’t

I think CRAFTED exotics got a bit nerfed when it comes to Ectos. Surely seems like it (And by Crafted I also mean droppable lvl 75+ with Berserker, etc.. prefix on)

WAY overpriced but they don’t really care about gem prices. Same goes for that TRAIT reset thing

I think overall this would be a good thing and plenty of issues will be solved. Other Borderlands already have multi-weather effects so I’ll just focus on Eternal Battleground as it has only one.

So we have 12 months, 4 seasons, every season should last for 3 months. Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn. All these seasons should be copy-pasted from the real world.

-Winter – snow covered lands, rooftops, trees, with active snow falling maybe even warmer dressed guards/lords. Then frozen lakes with some thin ice where people can fall in and active holes where people can dive into. Basically like LA but without the wintersday/festive gifts,etc…
-Spring – It turns extremely green, grass all fresh, many flowers, some places with morning mist, much more bird ambient creatures around water. OFC the ice is melting and nature is coming back to life.
-Summer – We all know how mid summer can be hot so we can see plenty of ground areas with yellowish grass/ground, many more creatures placed around water, etc…
-Autumn – Characterized with orange/brown/yellow/red colors. Leaves falling off threes, you get to see many leaves on the ground and around the trees, birds moving away from the map,etc..

I think only this feature would not make a map boring even if we played for 5 years constantly. What do you guys think?

What gets me worried is that someday we might get an increased cap level. With the increment in cap lvl there will probably be new armors for those new XYZ levels.

How would you guys find the right balance between the high-end armors we have right now, and future armor.

I had in mind that (talking only about ascended right now) it should level as you gain higher levels.

In my opinion higher level cap with new content is cool and very desirable (despite everyone gonna say how they don’t want to grind more, but yet they’ve completed all their goals and QQ about nothing new for them) so if it comes in future release it is very welcome, but current high-end gear should be addressed too in this mater. I know I’m talking way down in the future (and if it ever happens) but still it should be put out there.
