I can’t understand why they didn’t introduce it with the launch of gw2.

Although I am not happy with “town clothes” instead of costumes, the introduction of a storage would make me considering again to buy some of these clothes.
But I am not paying real money for the inconvenience of town clothes (that absolutely lacks in functioning and usability compared to how costumes were handled!!!) AND no option to store them away which doesn’t clutter my inventory or bank tabs. ^^

You could just preview all yellow and golden dyes from the tp (without buying them) on your character and armor and see what comes the closest to Myani on your monitor. ^^

Lol.. as we have prioritized to do the daily and some world bosses and after that some leveling or farming in Orr, we haven’t been able to discover this OP risen yet, but it sounds that today evening (if it’s not hotfixed until then^^) we just HAVE TO look out for it.. xD

I also don’t understand why they are not allowing the loot to remain until you leave the map (I think I read somewhere that it would take too much resources? Don’t know..)..

But until they figure out something better (if ever?) we have to prioritize.. it is not that it is a good or a fair choice, but WE have to.

You have to prioritize. ^^
Either you grab your loot quickly or you focus on first killing the enemy and then have a look if there is still loot for you.
I would suggest just “autoloot” with F during your fight nearly all the time and have an eye for the chests and grab them whenever you spot one.

Unfortunately there is no true autoloot where the game automatically detects the loot for you and put it into your inventar until it’s full.
Would be a nice additional option to choose from. ^^

I always make my characters the smallest size and I assume that’s the reason why I have this issue with my female warrior charr, my female human guardian and my female norn ranger.
Nearly every shoulder armor looks terrible (but not all, some indeed do fit a little bit more)…

It is not true that support does not compensate for the unique/ ascended thing.
Try to explain to them what happened and you might get another ring in exchange. :-)

Don’t you both agree there is something wrong with berserker’s behaviour?
Just let us focus on that!

There should be some videos because berserker has been broken before and I think I remember some people making videos to prove what happened after this certain patch that broke him before.
They were finally able to fix him back then, but the fix (resulting in a again decent/ normal working berserker) only lasted until the 26th February patch and they broke him again.

Then why did it change after the 26th of February patch hit???
Why do we see a difference (which is not perceived!!) ??

Shouldn’t it then has been always like that?

And why did they say at first it is a bug and now they do not see anything wrong with the damage?
But we see and experience it since the 26th…

However, that wasn’t helpful that much until now. Hopefully they will do some more research and just fix it!

If they (intentionally) nerfed him, they should just say it.
It would be the only way to give us back our ability for further decisions. What we want to do with their statement, what we want to do with our mesmers.. and IF we want to do anything at all.
They can’t just simply take us for an idiot. We are no children where they can take off the decision we should have to make.
(I am sorry, I just can’t translate exactly what I want to express.. in my native language I would have said it in ~ 1 or 2 sentence(s).)

I really hope it is just a misunderstanding and that this – what they have seen on their servers/ screens – was only perceived and with a little help from us they will be enlightened soon.

You can only have one of the same unique item per character equipped. Sadly, Customer Service does not refund or replace items obtained or lost through user-error. Best of luck in the future. =)

That is not true.

It happened to other players as well and they were compensated with another ring.
Contact support and tell them what happened to you.

1. we have to insist that there is a bug
2. we have to prove that it is a bug and not just what they say it is (that’s the point where “perceived” comes into my mind ^^)

No, I am not unforgiving, but it reminds me enormously what happened the last time the players were “wrong”..

Could we just skip this nerve-racking and annoying part and get a real solution to the problem? It is there and it is there since 26th of February.

First of all berserker was bugged last year and they finally fixed him after a while.
“Everything was fine again.”
And then with the 26th February patch they broke him again, but this time they only replied once and closed some threads about this issue. Now it has been two month since it occurred and one month since they gave us any info about the berserker.

It’s not that we would not understand that it might be a little bit tough to find a solution for it, BUT it did not happen for the first time (and it is similar to what happened before) and if it takes such a long time and they claim to have him on their high priority list, they should give us a temporary fix.
And tell us what’s going on.
It COULD be quite easy to calm us mesmers down.. ^^

There seems to be a bug which is not communicated about by Anet yet.

It has been since the end of February that zerkie is that massively bugged AGAIN.

If you are not able to fix him, please fix him temporarily. Give him more damage or make him attack faster.. do something that shows the berserker is on high priority list as you told us…

And even if they do not find the fix for it, they at least should compensate us with something else. E.g. up the damage, make him attack faster, etc. whatever they can change “easily” in berserker’s mechanics until they find out how they can fix him.

They broke him and they seem to not care for the mesmers.. why not calm them down with a temporary fix? (as mentioned above)

You will be able to change them. :-)
Just go to your wvw area and speak to the trainer (or look for any other mesmer trainer) and he/ she will ask you to pay a little fee to unlearn the old ones and give you the trait points back that you already have. Now you can spend them again.

For me (I play pve only!) it is really nice to have clone on dodge (deceptive evasion). It is 20 points in the Dueling trait.
As I play with illusions I also try to make them stronger. There are several traits to achieve that. (e.g. faster illusion/ phantasm skill recharge)

Try it out what’s the best for you. It is not too expensive to play with the traits. :-)

In my opinion: Yes.

Just look for a guild that suits you. There are some that are huge, some for casuals, some for hardcore players. Some do only pvp, etc..
But during the first levels there should be always some guilds that advertise in map chat. :-)

As a guardian you sometimes have to watch your life bar, because they have lower vitality as warriors.
But I think it is a good choice to start the game with.

Depends on you… do you want to do pve? Thief (and mesmer) can be a real challenge in leveling your character up to lvl 80. It will become easier sometimes (if you learn new traits), but can also be harder (if you go to Orr) the more you level..^^

If you want to get a feeling for the game and don’t want to be possibly frustrated, then you should choose an easier option like warrior, ranger, necro. In my opinion these were very good to level..
But it depends on you, for example if you are experienced with such games, it could be that it doesn’t make any difference starting with the thief profession. ^^

That is a really good suggestion, emon, but there is one armor (or more?) per profession that you will not be able to get in pve.

Some more thoughts on that idea..

The hard mode map could give you one or several debuffs by entering the map. These could change hourly, daily or weekly.

They could create new daily achievement category (something like “advanced/ experienced daily”) for these two maps, one for the “normal” one and one for the hard mode. For example there could be a task that you have to complete (aka “Kill 25 peoples”) or other things you have to be aware of (“Don’t die for 5 minutes”).

They could include new world bosses: on the normal map as soon as the boss (that hits really hard) is there players become friendly to each other and they have to kill the boss before they can fight against each other again.
On the hard mode map you would have to kill the boss and the other players… xD

However, the rewards should be great and if they give you a map specific token you should be able to exchange it into all other tokens that are out there. ^^

I don’t really care for pvp or wvw, but this one..

In my opinion it should be in the open world (pve), just in a very big map (and maybe another one which is “hard mode” and not that big, so you cannot hide really well). It should be focussed on lvl 80 characters, but you could just let it open for everyone and upscale them, BUT it should be that hard that not many low level or mid level characters would survive there long enough to really benefit from this map.

Maybe you also can group up inside this map or get in there already as a group. That way you can roam around with your friends in this very great map..

You should do that if not!!

For a pretty female you could start with a human and after that a norn (they made the female one quite aesthetic).
After that a sylvari (you can decide their glow!) or asura or a charr.

Have a look at the gw2armor.com site as emon suggested. That’s how you will find out how exotic or cultural armor is looking like.

Everything depends on your own taste, BUT it is quite difficult to create a medium female armor, especially low level, that isn’t a trenchcoat. So if you are interested in a thief, ranger or engineer keep in mind that the most stylish looking armor will be there later in the game.
For light armor (mesmer, necro, ele) it is way easier to wear some nice clothes whilst leveling.
Heavy armor (guardian, warrior) is also okay, but for good variety I like the light armor the most.

Another thing is the “theme” the different professions have:
- Mesmer is all in purple and with butterflies etc.
- Guardian has a more light blue fire theme
- etc

You might have noticed that in the videos. ^^

You can try out all professions by creating one and do the tutorial. After that you can travel to the pvp lobby (and do the pvp tutorial once) and you will be able to try all their skills, because you will be upleveled to lvl 80.
That way you can choose which professions looks and feels the most fitting to you.

Many professions can hit hard, and for pve you don’t have to choose a special profession to be successful. As I do not pvp or wvw it can be evry different there..

I am a girl, too, and my main is female human mesmer. Not because of the loveliness and the great aesthetics of this profession, but it’s a nice bonus.

This will be fixed soon.

Until then, if there are too many players either you could write in map chat all shall wait for his life bar showing before they attack him (works on my world) or don’t do the event, because it can be very frustrating when he melts down that fast.
