If I remember it right, in that particular case the only good thing is that you can try it with another character (or even the same?) and it might be that you receive the bonus chest and regular chest the second time.
It doesn’t make much sense, but it’s worth a try.
Is that working as intended?
My bf and me have several characters with lvl 80.
We only do the boss events once per day per account. (There always lies the reset in between)
Every time we do the same events together.
I always get the golden medal, the special mini chest and the regular boss chest.
Sometimes (especially with his ranger and it happened with Tequatl and Behemoth) he only receives the golden medal, no special chest, no regular chest.
No, that cannot work as intended.
We are lvl 80.
We only do it once.
We do exactly the same (sometimes with the same professions.. my ranger receives the chests, his not ^^).
I feel sorry for you. And yeah, I just wanted to prevent that people will come guesting and farming these places.. that’s why I kept my server secret..
First he disappeared before the latest update which caused non-ending spawns of risen. That lasted for nearly one day and many players reported this bug.
Now he again disappeared (the latest update and the included server reset “fixed” everything) and all event chains are broken (penitent, shelter, etc.) again and there are a lot of foes attacking penitent camp.. and they not only bring nice food to the party!
It is heavily bugged, please stop it! And if you have no (quick) fix, then reset the servers.

Yes, you can.
You will need another character that joined this particular order.
This character will buy the skin and then transmute it to a white or blue armor piece (one that will not be soul-bound like green or above), keep in mind to choose the order skin whilst transmuting.
It becomes account-bound.
There you go!
Either choosing a last name or changing how you wanted to spell the name.
And if you are an asura there are lots of possibilities to easily change their names.
E.g. you wanted the name: Razor
You could end up with: Razzor, Razzzor, Razarr, Razz, Rezor, etc.
The thing is that I don’t care for pvp (but I also read this in the pvp forum, too and these guys talk crazy stuff sometimes xD), I just want a reliable and powerful berserker in pve.

Zerk does not need to be nerfed and he also doesn’t need to be buffed, but at least he shall work properly again.
I would also love to receive some news about the berserker.
It is the second time that he is broken that much and I really hope you will find a solution fast. Even if you just do a temporary fix like adding 10 % more damage to him (or whatever is appropriate) until you will have found what is causing trouble to him…
Please be a little bit more accommodating to your gamers, in this case the mesmers.
Not about this topic, but if it is comparable to the black lion key thing then it is not an exploit. They said creating new characters to get the keys (fast) is fine with them.
So unless we hear another statement from them, we can assume it also will be the same for the baubles?

It’s a new bug and it is still bugged, but they cannot find out what is causing trouble, so we have to wait for a bug fix. -.-
It would be great if they just could add temporarily10% more damage to the berserker’s damage (or whatever is appropriate) until they will fix it!!
It is really annoying, especially it’s the second time, he is bugged that much… :-(
We are two people and stuck at the frog boss. We have no clue what to do and not much life left.
He has full life and we tried to use the shards, but he insta-killed us twice.
And advice?
Or can we leave the place (= the box) and will be back at that same level at a later time?
I’ll never understand why they do not sell them directly.
In my opinion more people would buy these things (skins or whatever) , if they would have a reasonable price and were sold directly (you pay for what you definetely get).
I will never buy anything (especially not for real cash) to have only a chance to get a certain item.
They could be clever and have a nice gem shop where people would love to spend money, but they do it another way… -.-
And yeah, the dyes look fine, but not that good to throw my money away for a chance to get them. ^^
On my computer it had no water in it, but at the same time on my bf’s computer the water was there. I had to restart the game to get rid of that problem..
My bf is logged in, but looses his connection very often and if you type in the channels, it will not be shown. ^^ (EDIT: It is shown after ~ 2 minutes of waiting…)
It just started ~ 15 min ago, before that everything was fine.
What classes do you play?
So maybe we can exclude that it does affect “bots” (rangers with brown bears for example ^^)..
With other characters my bf never had any issue with diminishing return or no chest or whatever..
So there should be exactly NO difference for me as I already participated in these events only once per day account-wide?
Means the reward stays the same? (sometimes more than one rare)
Or will you adjust/ nerf/ whatever the rare rate also?
Cannot say exactly IF there is a difference, but it feels like the normal boss chests that I open now contain more green stuff…. (and less rares)
EDIT: to be more clear.. less rares compared to before.. even if you count in the one rare that you get from the new special chest, it seems to be less rares than before.
