With the animation for it, I feel like it could be a blast finisher. Thoughts?
Wait, what? Please provide a source for this if possible.
They also throw Ninja Stars… Just like in Naruto AKA the first ever depiction of Ninjas ever created ever….
The ninja stars are called shuriken.
Also, ninjas and fiction depicting them were around way before Naruto, which is a crap representation of them.

We might be in more trouble than I thought.
Okay, this should be the last post for this, I swear! >.<;
Right…just some things from talking to some of the people in the Pavilion and stuff.
Oh, and Hobo-Tron thinks the minstrel is aiding Scarlet. Don’t tell anyone.
1: And we’ve defeated Scarlet? Or have we?
2: Oh, hey there Seraph and Shining Blade, nice job being useless.
3: “You won this round, but I’ll be back! Eventually!”
4,5: “Welp, she got away, but we kicked her out, so good job, right?” “She’s still on the loose?! That’s no good for anyone in this game, or even the game itself.”
And for another bit between Logan and Anise:
“A word, Countess? Ever since the planning phases of this event, I’ve been kept out of every important decision involving the queen. I know that’s not a coincidence. Nothing you do ever is.”
“I assure you Captain: everything I’ve done has been for the good of Kryta and the throne. Scarlet wasn’t a threat I couldn’t fully identify, so I prepared for the worst. And my preparations proved very effective. The only problem here is that you take things too personally when Jennah’s involved.”
(She’s got a point Logan.)
“I will never apologize for my dedication to the queen. I will serve and protect her faithfully until she commands me not to. Keep that in mind the next time you feel like trying to keep us apart.”
(Like you protected her during the Faren cut-scene? Oh wait…)
Almost done. Just gotta run through the bandit area now. No more minions at least. Oh, and Rox/Braham/Faren/other hostages relocated by the bandit treehouse, somehow.
Anyway, time to evict Scarlet for good.
“I do the messing with around here. I’m the mess-or, not the mess-ee. It’s bad enough that I didn’t get the queen like I wanted, now you want to spoil all my fun? Party, meet pooper.” Blah blah let’s fight.
Same as the cannonball fight, except now she had a Charrzooka and is somewhat more annoying. She can also do a weird arcing teleport jump, tricking her into hitting the barrels removes the shield. Just beware the Torment shockwaves too. Oh, and a little more banter from the comedic duo in the background.
“I-miss-Southsun-Cove.” LIES!
Anywho, Scarlet ran off again, taking the minstrel and Hobo-Tron with her.
Time to run through the destroyer zone, avoiding more Twisted.
Scarlet decides to get an Ugly Stick to whack you with. All she does in this is a charge-up smash you can walk around to avoid, and a spinning move that reflects projectiles and drops glue around.
And more banter from our two favorite(?) characters in this whole instance.
Scarlet eventually uses that brain she allegedly has and realizes that using a charge-up attack and Dagger Storm without the daggers isn’t the best idea. This sylvari graduated all three of Rata Sum’s colleges….yeah right.
1: Is that speedo his normal underwear, or was Scarlet really creepy enough to force him to change into that? I shudder at thinking of either choice.
2,3: Anyway, Braham and Rox stay behind to protect the hostages, leaving the rest of the dungeon up to you. (Not sure how well that would work, since Scarlet can just teleport others around too, but whatever.) Time to run through the centaur part of the arena, sneaking through/running past the Twisted and Aetherblades.
4,5: Now we get to fight Scarlet somewhat. She had dual Quips with crappy range that can inflict Torment, as well as an annoying shield that reduces all your damage to 0 and blocks conditions. Guess how you get rid of it?
“Cannonballs! My one weakness!”
6,7: Oh, and the minstrel and Hobo-Tron are here too. Here are their thoughts on this whole thing. Definitely worth those two extra pictures.
1: Thankfully, the Aetherblades could be easily sneaked around, and the few that did have to be fought were too stupid to call their friends. Even the Risen can do that.
2,3: Scarlet’s trying to cook Faren alive. Also the cities’ emissaries are around. Thanks Braham and Rox for going to “help” them first and not assist me with the minions or putting out the fires. Meh.
4,5: Put out the fires 3 times, fighting minions in between, and Scarlet tires of it.
“Fine, take the hostages. I was done with them anyway. Stupid hostages.”
1: After helping Vorpp build his portal, we went into the Playhouse. Despite the 5-player recommendation, this is doable even solo.
2: Admittedly, the art for the loading screen looks cool, giving the image of Divinity’s Reach under seige by a giant Scarlet and her Twisted minions. How cool it might’ve been if that happened. (Obviously they didn’t do that so new players in Divinity’s Reach don’t get slaughtered, but still.)
3: Rox and Braham were already inside. Apparently the portal can only take so many at once, or can only stay open for a short time, since no Seraph, Shining Blade, Honor Guards, or Queen’s Champions come to help us take back the Pavilion. Either that, or they’re all lazy/stupid. Oh well.
Interesting comparison.
I’ve tried playing charr before, but I just don’t care for it, mainly because I don’t care for the starting area they’re in, and their design, while potentially quite cool, doesn’t really suit me. Then again, I don’t play humans either for the same reason so…meh.
I just don’t like Kryta or Ascalon. (shrugs)
While this post won’t show another obscure(?) champion, it’s something I’ve noticed regarding champions.
There tend to be 3 categories champions can fall into:
1) All melee. They may have attacks to close the gap, but they are all melee. You can just kite these guys to death.
2) Mainly melee, with some ranged attacks. Noticing the tells and dodging the range attacks is important, but you pretty much can still kite them to death. Most champions seem to be in this middle category.
3) Champions with a focus on ranged attacks. These are the painful ones, since avoiding their attacks is far more troublesome, and depending on your class, reflects and blocks aren’t always around, so it comes to dodging and hoping you don’t run out of endurance. These ones are generally avoided, or only fought with a group, since you can’t kite them like ones that focus on melee.
This one, while not quite unfought, is probably only fought when people want the skill point up here.

There’s a random champion ram in the Krongar Pass portion of Timberline Falls, SW of the Kyesjard PoI and up on the cliffs. Unfortunately, he’s not guarding anything.
This the one? Neat find there. Nice to see a champion that doesn’t try to murder you on sight.
(edited by Nilkemia.8507)
Off to Timberline Falls this time. Managed to spy a Champion Risen Abomination doing his daily jog in the river. Even the Risen need to keep in shape too.

Two for one this time, in the Brisban Wildlands.
First, a Champion Malfuntioning Golem. Basically a Champion Mark II.
Second, the Unseen Hunter which is part of a dynamic event you can “solo” without too much trouble. Despite being a champion, he seems to have little to no armor, since I can hit him for around a thousand HP per hit. Also notable is that this boss has complete immunity to all conditions, though crowd controls still work. (defiant notwithstanding)

You will fail and die.
The Golem Overlords cannot be beaten!
The Eternal Alchemy has forsaken you, this land belongs to the golems now!
I’m back!
I found another very out-of-the-way champion in Metrica Province, of all places.
It’s…another champion spider queen in a hidden cave full of spiders. Yuck. And she’s guarding a Rich Copper Vein. If you care about that. (shrugs)
Hmm, maybe we should make a poll to see if Tribulation Mode players want evil/berserk shopkeepers, maybe?
That cloud is bugged, or is a fake one. Either way, that’s no good.
If you have no continue coins, you could go back to the Hub, and rejoin your party with 5 lives. So therefore you would port out instead of dying and having to spend baubles on a continue coin, as leaving and rejoining would be more efficient, which is kind of cheating. Therefore, you have 1 life instead of 5.
Um, going back to the hub just gives you one life, not 5. Unless that’s unique to being in a party. I don’t think it gives you extra lives otherwise, and it only gives you an extra life if you don’t have any extras to begin with.
Yep. I stay away from World 2 now.
They’re also worse-looking than the blue backpack, which you can’t get anymore.
I feel like the Toad King/Storm Wizard weapons need something more to distinguish themselves from the original Super Skins, like lightning pixel effects or a green acid mist effect or something. Or they could’ve changed parts of the actual skins to reflect the bosses better.
As it stands, they’re just green and yellow recolors(and on some of the older skins, there are blue parts remaining that clash with the green and yellow). Kinda disappointing.
And not being able to show any back items in the S.A.B. is also a little downer too. :/
Or just stick to World 1, those zones are still rather fun.
I don’t think more time-gating is the best answer.
Tera? Ooooh, I’ve seen a bit of that. Eeeek.
Sadly, the Embroidered Pants (I’m guessing those were the “harem parts” you mentioned) are pretty much the closest thing we get to actual pants with the least amount of skirt/frills. The Profane Pants could count, but I consider them closer to shorts and thigh-highs rather than actual pants. And they don’t match well with most other skins outside of the set.
Same with heavy armor except for the pants the Lionguard use and the Aetherblade heavy pants(For females anyway, except asura). Medium armor gets a lot of great pants, but it’s usually covered up by all the longcoats.
I feel like all the armor types need a little more variety. I mean, they’re good, but we need just a little more varieties.

Given that a good guardian can always have a few boons up nearly all the time, Chocolate Omnomnomberry Cream works very well with them.
I’m still waiting for that one shopkeeper in TM where if you smash his stuff, he goes berserk and one-shots you. XD
That can happen? Although I don’t play Tribulation Mode, I’m amused at the thought of that.
Theoretical Scenario:
(Player smashes pot or furniture.)
Shopkeeper: Hey! Don’t do that!
(Player continues smashing stuff.)
(Shopkeeper turns red, pulls out Super Rifle and shoots the player dead.)
Alternatively, berserk shopkeepers could use other Super weapons, like the Axe, Hammer, Pistol, etc.

Or… turn off the NPC chat tab and learn New Krytan!
No! Besides, why would an asuran invention utilize New Krytan anyway? I don’t need their silly bookah writing!
And the first awkward stare moment I had ever caught and kept.
“You asura love your little golems and glowing armor, but I prefer a more natural approach..”
I really don’t care enough to try getting this gear now. All the time-gating and materials requiring you to do some of everything (more or less) just makes it feel like a chore. That being said, as long as this is the final tier of gear, I won’t mind its existence too much. I just won’t bother with it.
(edited by Nilkemia.8507)
Isn’t it kinda neat? Eh?….
I stuck to Normal Mode throughout World 1. I tried World 2 on Normal, but after the raft section, it just became too much. (Granted, that was before the patch, so it might be better now, but I didn’t feel like it after that.) So I went on Infantile to get through the levels quickly to reach the World 3 preview. But even with those happy clouds, it just felt too long compared to World 1. Meh.
While I’m aware that Dulfy probably has a guide to all the good dig spots, I just stuck with the 20 bauble chest, the green “5” bauble(s), bombing the cave to get 20 more, then going back to the hub and doing it again. I don’t feel like having to have the Dulfy guide open and constantly moving back and forth to get all the dig spots. Especially seeing as they too are account bound, once-a-day digs. And honestly, if I have to rely on a third-party site to help me just get through the levels, that implies that I’m either really stupid, or that whoever designed them did a poor job.
And I’ve been doing this all solo, so.. (shrug) Sorry. I don’t mind playing with others, but I prefer to do it myself.
That’s what I do. I don’t complain about Tribulation Mode.
No one would buy the Infinite Continue Coin if they did, so meh, probably not.
Well, he did say the falls could retain their instant death in Tribulation Mode, and with all the other instant kill stuff in there, people would probably still buy the Infinite Continue Coin for that.
And now for something different.
A little tip: Having the NPC chat tab on allows you to understand what the NPCs are saying. (Although most probably know that already.)
Seems the Shopkeepers don’t care for all their hoarding. I like to leave the books and furniture alone though, they need those after all.
Our posts are now being time gated. :/
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!
either Plataformers is not your thing or you are just trolling
Because I’m known for being a troll. (/sarcasm) It seems you didn’t read the entirety of my posts either. I suspect you’re one, but I’ll feed you. Just this once.
I have just finished this on tribulation mode, yeah it was hard, but not so much.
Um, well, congrats to you. But I didn’t play this level on Tribulation Mode, so that comment is pointless, unless you’re seeking to stroke your own ego. It seems like you expect everyone else to live up to Tribulation Mode’s standard or stop playing.
And while backtracking in and of itself is fine, it isn’t if it’s badly done. The torch costed 400 baubles, more than you can initially carry, so you have to buy the bag expansion, which is 250 baubles in and of itself. So, I ended up starting W1Z1 over and over, using the key, 20 bauble chest and the nearby cave that needs to be bombed, about..oh 10-15 times. That’s just tedious. And as I pointed out before, you only need it twice in the whole level. What a waste.
I suppose you’ll tell me the Storm Wizard is somehow easier than the Toad King too?
Interesting idea. Although, it probably won’t be implemented, which saddens me.
Super Box themed armor? Interesting.
Just stay out of that mode. It’s not worth it. Also, Mario’s a cat now?
You silly bookahs and your mammary jokes.
…Anyway…
A little highlight from an infiltration attempt gone wrong:
(edited by Nilkemia.8507)
You either hold on to them for the next time the Gauntlet comes out, or you just throw them away.
At the end of the short story, as he sees Princess Miya and thinks on how she reminds him of a certain previous krewemate, he pauses for a moment and spots an ominous shadow in his shape behind her. He blinks, and the shadow is gone. It’s around to be read right now.
