Xushin from Maguuma. Dragun Knight from YB. Bannok from SBI. Any of those servers lose those guys, there is literally nobody to replace them.

You seem obsessed with DK. He is an excellent commander and has been a pillar of strength for YB, but we did manage on our own when he took a break last year for longer periods (guy needs a break too). Generally speaking, I agree with the sentiment that no commander is irreplaceable i.e. if one steps down there are others who steps up most of the time.

I can only speak from my experience on YB (since release). We LOVE to defend structures, sometimes using manpower and sometimes tactical usage of siege like ACs, trebs, etc. Recently when we moved upto T2, we received a few open field guilds, who are much appreciated for their efforts. Other than that YB also have number of PvX guilds if you’re looking forward to join one. Our community website: www.yaks-bend.com

As for FA, they definitely have the best coverage in T2 atm, so yeah we can use some more hand to stay competitive in the long run.

Bumping for an awesome server. I first did WvW raiding with Guts, Glory [RAM] before Xig moved a large number of people to Fort Aspenwood. I followed, and after Superior Flame [RAM] fell apart, joined Spirit of [HOPE] and later followed them to Sea of Sorrows. Had a blast with the guilds, but both servers had a ton of drama between commanders and other notables. I came back to Yaks Bend after dropping out of [HOPE] due to school starting up again, and I have to say, I am happy to call Yaks Bend home. We have an awesome community, and our commanders are top notch and always helpful. In fact, once I transferred back to Yaks Bend, my first words were, “I’m home”.

Like others have said, you can buy other titles as well with credit cards, so why is this an exception? Its not like adding a title will imbalance the game economy or cause any other harm.

The title was a consolation prize for people who wanted to dual wield legendaries pre wardrobe. A title for 5/5 would just be added to the already showy 5 legendaries and players would gain little/no benefit.

And what is wrong with it? I mean, crafting 5 legendaries isn’t an easy thing for any casual gamers (barring the hardcore ones) and why shouldn’t they get a title for that? Its not, as if it will have negative consequences. If there’s a title for the same legendaries crafted (consolation or not), IMO there should be one for 5/5 as well.

Its pretty surprising that there’s a title for crafting two same legendaries but not one for the achievement 5/5 legendaries which is 250% more difficult to achieve.

yeah, sephiroth you deff missed out on a free xfer to T2.

Being able to pay your own way is nice, but we definitely had someone approach us and say, “we’ve got 80,000 gold, and we’d like to buy your community. Everyone.”

I don’t know which T2 server you’re talking about, but if its YB I can assure you that its false.

Weird, I actually wrote my “low as five (in numerical) HP” which got changed to “low as kitten HP”…lol. I meant my HP went down to 5 (after taking dmg and before healing myself again) and I survived which might not have been possible if I was wearing exotic.

Running around in zerker will still get you killed, no matter if you use Exotic or Ascended.

Most players who has chosen YB was never disappointed in the community. Once they join, they don’t leave. Ofcourse, I might be exaggerating a bit but the point is true.
YB is in Tier 2 right now and looking forward to enhance our coverage.

A screenshot of one commander doesn’t show a server effort. At the same time other commanders were hitting DB, like we got waypoints up on DBBL hills and after it was lost we almost got a waypoint up again there. There’s also little point to dig up screenshots of stuff you can read on the other forum of Tyrion saying how he’s pushing on SoS.

It sure does when that commander conveys the message throughout the whole server. It doesn’t take a genius to realize what happened.
Anyway, we have moved on and so have you (I guess). Good luck in future matches with us

All I want to say is that its gonna take more than that to get us out of the tier. Even RNGesus is also on our side LOL. I won’t count out the possibility of FA/DB spending another week in T3 next week.

What a server was 2 years ago has nothing to do with what a server is now. So your point is moot anyway.

Thanks for your opinion. The great thing about opinions is that they can be wrong, which is the case here.

The only reason DB keeps coming back up to T2 even after three implosions is because of what it was 2 years ago. It was chosen as a server for Taiwanese players and since launch new Taiwanese players go to DB and help counter any attrition.

SoR was in T1/T2 for a long time, where are they now? Kaineng was in T2 for quite some time, where are they now? Like I said, history has nothing to do with server placement/tier. What matters currently is how you recruit to your own server, whether your community attracts people or you straightaway approach other servers to buy them.

Thanks, I’m great at writing non-fiction. You seem extremely defensive so I’m going to conclude that everything I’ve written was logical and made sense. If cA really isn’t leaving then I’ll take that back. Doesn’t change anything about my analysis as YB’s SEA was non existent for the past 2 weeks based on in game and out of game evidence. This indicates that it easily fair weathers which is not an attractive trait to have or the NA overtime that filled that timezone got burnt out. It’s almost certainly a combination of both.

You T2 servers need to get real. Stop being kitten (looking at you DB) and start thinking in the long term. In the end it’ll be the 3 servers with the best coverage that remain in T2 and the 4th will drop down the tiers. Think long term. SoS might look like it’s the weakest right now but they have a natural ocx population and come expansion it’s gonna balloon in size. Same thing with DB and their SEA. Those two servers are inevitably going to be in T2 in the future.

So now you look at FA and YB. Look at their histories. Which one, historically, has been stronger? Which ones numbers will rise more once expansion hits? Which one has better coverage right now? And of their coverage, which one is ACTUAL coverage and not artificial coverage caused by people playing 24 hours straight? Artificial coverage diminishes faster than real coverage because of burnout.

So you set it out plainly:
- Which server has the best coverage at the moment: FA or DB
- Which server has natural off peak population: DB, SoS and maybe FA (FA ocx was massive in the past and now that they’ve absorbed all of IoJ’s ocx on two separate occasions, they can easily market their server for other potential ocx players/guilds)
- Which of FA or YB has historically had higher coverage: FA

There’s your answer. And it’s already happening. SG (i.e. their pst coverage) is leaving. cA (i.e. 50% of their SEA) is bored and transferring back to T1. That means their remaining coverage lives and dies with NA overtime. That won’t last. No matter how many days they can pull 12 hour shifts, they will always reach a point where they have to stop. And you know that’s already happening because they got 3rd place two weeks in a row.

Stop dilly-dallying. Get kitten done. You want your fights? Purge the server that brought the siege humping, over timing and ppt kitten to the tier. It helps that more than half of their NA will transfer off immediately as well.

A proper 1v1v1 would look like this week in T2 where there is no alliance of any kind. SoS is clearly the weakest of all four and will most likely destack. Their glicko is highly inflated due to help they received last week.

Thinking of coming back to the game. I have 2 geared chars a mes and a thief and a third level 80 who im about to start gearing which is an ele. Im looking for mostly a roaming havoc guild as i pretty much have only mained my thief since launch. I sent an app into the website jw if that would be the only way to find a guild i would be looking for a primetime to late night NA guild. mains name is luna shadowstrider. I have alot of pvp exp.
