Despite the rumors DK is not really back, hasn’t even tagged up this week so far.
Correct. He barely logs on for an hour or two and goes off. From what I heard, unless he gets a new ISP the current one can’t handle WvW. Besides, lots of old YB players are coming back is helping the cause as well.

Atleast thieves aren’t revealed on missing a stealthed attack which would promote more skilled gameplay like warriors’ burst skills.
There are already too many unblockables. Put more unblockables and that would make blocks useless.
Except when did thieves have 23+K HP, myriad passives to save their precious and massive dmg on multiple attacks?
Why thieves are so kittened is that we have DHs rampaging around and Anet nerfs tools that helped us to deal with guards, not to mention the class been in garbage tier for 4 seasons now and the nerf also affected builds that were barely viable if at all – Anet just keeps beating the dead horse.
Its true that thieves don’t have the raw hp and the armor like a warrior to directly deal with dmg but they got more active damage mitigation in form of dodges and blinds and mobility. Its a trade off IMO. And this has nothing to do with punishing players for missing stealth attacks like it does for a warrior bursts.

PAIN runs everyday during OCX TZ while pugmanders often takes it to SEA and early EU. Definitely, give them a try
Yaks this low due to changes aproveitadoras guilds , how YAKS was winning T1 , was a wonder to everyone, after the changes in WVW when YAKS started losing began despair for some guilds, bunch of traitors to the same people from my own guild did it.
Leaving only the guilds with honor to help reorganize the YAKS .
Yaks was winning T1 thanks to DK and Chris commanding near non-stop coupled with HIbergate being very Hiber. They also had “The Alliance” for a while. Once the Alliance left and Hibergate once again became BlackGate, the beatdown commenced.
A lot of guilds including mine left because we had new and returning players on other servers while YB was locked down. We had no other choice but to move. Besides there is nothing dishonorable about moving servers… now calling some dishonorable that plays without cheating and doesn’t insult others falls into that category.
Just reminded me about a guild group that moved onto JQ a month or two back. I forget the exact tag name, but they had mentioned that YB treats people who weren’t on YB from the beginning badly. Be called dishonorable for moving servers was I believe one of the things they mentioned getting thrown their way.
And that’s how rumors spread. Are you talking about a guild starting with F? I won’t turn this thread into something its not but whatever misinformation they told, its clearly not true. Hell Kappell is in UL, they xferred to here when SoR was on its way down and they are still here. I can name a few other guilds who runs almost everyday during NA who isn’t on YB from day 1.

I know the guy is hated by a lot in game mainly because of his ability to ppt like a machine, but we need more players like that guy. Not on the level of hours but just dedication and pulling those pugs together and STAYING with his server.
He had been having internet issues for almost 2.5 months now and was online for a very brief amount of time ~10 hours back. Besides PPT’ing and defense, its his ability to instantly rally pugs via shoutouts that is sorely missed but the positive side is that he’ll be fresh after not having played for so long.

Started playing 6 moth ago, done some research before starting. To my knowledge, no one was pushed so hard out off meta when even non-meta builds on other classes are considered better than best DH builds. Then again, i just started playing 6 moth ago, so you can use that against my point.
If you had played warrior or thief in S1, you wouldn’t have made that statement. They were in a far worse state than DH is now. Before HoT, rangers were out of the meta for a long time, same for necro even before that.

100B damage was already nerfed last year and its a 3.5s channel skill that requires a perfect setup to land the hits.
I am surprised you didn’t mention condi application of mesmer. I guess 8+ stacks of confusion and torment in a very shot span is fine right?
If adrenal health goes back to what it was or equivalent, warriors will be back to being one of the weakest class. On the other hand it proves how much the class’ sustain relies on a single trait which should obviously be reworked.
My prediction: Warrior’s condi application getting nerfed (deservedly since skull grinder is broken atm). Adrenal health getting nerfed to such an extent where it won’t be viable anymore in team fights. BONUS: Buggy skills like Rush, shield bash, savage leap, etc will still continue to not hit 50% of the time.
They should just add a resign button. If 3 or more (i.e. the majority) people resigns the match ends and opponent is declared the victor.
To satisfy both parties, they should increase the cap by say, 1000 per year. So you have to do dailies for 100 out of 365 days instead of everyday. This will not devalue permanent achievement since there will be a cap and people who relies on daily AP can still get progress even if it’ll be time gated (i.e. every year). I haven’t maxed out my dailies yet either.
I got a feeling Adrenal Health is going to get hit with the nerf bat you can bet on it. The ease of you being able to keep up 3 stacks and the fact that warrior already has such high HP, armor, , CC, coupled with berserker stance, endure pain throw in some boons and you’re golden.
Except adrenaline health, warriors had all those you mentioned in s1 and 2 and yet they were trash. Endure pain has 1/15th uptime (2/15 with auto proc trait), zerker stance (without traited and 0% boon duration) has 1/5 uptime, Warriors were king of CCs much before HoT launched and high hp/armor means nothing when its the only class with no protection access of its own. The only major thing that has changed is the adrenaline health rework which I agree needs to be toned downed a bit but increase the healing coefficient with healing power.
Why are you hoarding them in the first place when they do not stack? Just open them as soon as you get it and sell/salvage/deposit mats ASAP.

Again, the argument still stands. Rationally speaking, why would anyone choose to go to a medium server which basically low pop when you CAN go to yb with just 1k gems and is a top 3 largest server?
Cause YB has a toxic af community and very few guilds want to deal with their established leadership. Guilds have been bailing on YB for a long time.
Definitely not, its quite the opposite. Coming from someone who has been on a T1 server since forever and is YB’s current rival your “opinion” is as worth as some random troll’s.
If the score is 500-500, then the sum of personal scores comes into play and determines the winner.
I feel personally that berserker is too powerful. They don’t sacrifice much in order to have high sustain, high damage (be it condi or power), and high defensive abilities (blocks, stances, high hp, high armor, etc.). It seems like it’s too easy to get everything now rather than having to invest more in order to be effective in a certain area.
Power warrior have 2.1k armor on zerk or marauder amulet. Stances are on high CDs. Adrenaline healing is conditional in the sense that it has to actually hit a target can be countered by blind spams. It looks over the top for condi build because conditions are broken atm.
Once condis are nerfed berserker sustain won’t be an issue. Power warriors are in a good spot IMO. Its condi warrior that is a bit over the top. Nerfing adrenaline health greatly will render power warrior useless (like they were in s1&2).
Warrior:
Nerf Skull Grinder to 2 condis + interrupt
Shave adrenaline healing by 20%
Nerf Arc divider by 10%
Buff eviscerate + decapitate by 10%
Mesmer condi application needs shaving all around. Don’t even know where to start…
Necro:
Remove unblockable from Corrupt boon and increase CD to 20 sec. They have got too many unblockables
Remove boon corruption from AA and add it to #3 scepter.
Reduce spectral armor CD to 35 sec.
All wells need a 1 sec duration increase IMO.
Dagger and axe dmg needs buff.
DH:
Make F2 an evade and reduce the healing by 20% (still way higher than guardian’s F2).
Reduce CD of F3 by another 5 sec or so.
Focus skills need CD reduction specially #5.
He plays scrapper and is upset that the crazy Scrapper sustain was shaved
I had the misfortune of playing in his team as soloQ’ing the day before yesterday and he was on his thief. In the forest map, the mid area is smaller than legacy map and the only thing he was doing was running into mid and sacrificing himself in the AoE spam until he ragequit.
This is like OP’s 5th or 6th thread about the SAME topic…dunno why you guys keep on feeding him.
Yak’s Bend is now listed as “HIGH” which means only 1000 gems to transfer to a T1 server.
YB is unlinked which means the population cap is higher than the the linked ones. Despite being in T1, YB didn’t experience queues in multiple borderland for more than 10 minutes after reset (forget other timezones) since maybe 2-3 months back even when linked with AR.
I had been waiting for Anet to drop the amount of mats required. Now that they’ve done it, is there any cost effective 0-400 scribe leveling guide out there?,

Losing divisions will have more negative impacts than positive ones. Safety nets should ONLY be at the divisions and not tiers. Amber division should be the only one that won’t allow loss of pips/tiers and once you’re out of amber ppl should lose tiers (in addition to pips in emerald/sapphire)
Mesmer – Moa reduced to 5 sec and CD reduced to 120s. F5 no longer works on elite skills. Conditions on shatter needs shave -8 stacks of confusion, torment, bleeding and its constant application makes condi chrono king of 1v1 (not to mention moa).
GENERAL:
Please make boons, conditions and CCs rarer. Their abundance is killing the fun in pvp.
Scrapper needs a shave in all aspects – Hammer dmg coefficient, sustain and stealth duration.
Revenant needs major dmg nerf to staff and sword and buff to their unused legend Ventari.
Warriors need dmg nerf to Gunflame and Arc divider and and buff to their sustain and axe burst skills (evis and decapitate -slight buff). Stances should be reduced to 40 sec remove the dual endure pain which procs at 25%. The last stand trait should reduce CD by another 20% instead of increasing stance duration by 20%. Shout and warhorn (unnecessary) nerf should be reverted.
DH needs a shave to the virtues. Core guardian’s virtues are underwhelming compared to DH’s. True shot CD increased to 6 sec and reduce its dmg by 10%.
Elementalist – Auramancer trait is too powerful IMO. Personal healing is ok but healing to allies is OP and the aura spamming. Reflection uptime needs a nerf. Their DPS spec need buffs. Staff is nearly useless in high level pvp.
Necromancrmer – As stated by everyone, chill needs MAJOR dmg nerf by atleast 50%. Chill already is an OP condition and dealing that much dmg overtime (when traited) on top of that is broken given how much access they got to chill. Boon corruption should be removed from scepter AA. The GM trait in SR line which breaks stun and gives a stability should also give protection access to increase survivality.

Are you for real? Signet of humility transforms the victim into something very weak for 10 seconds and you’re implying that its not a crowd control skill?
Condi bomb on mes doesn’t require any setup just like reapers and all condi spammers. I will give you an example of a skill that actually requires a far better setup than mesmers: Hundres blades. Even then it doesn’t land all 8 hits most of the time.

In addition to this, why the hell does Signet of humility bypass stability? That makes this skill even more overpowered.
Mesmers are godly in PvP atm with their condi bomb + Moa + Mobility (portal). Anyone who says otherwise has clearly not seen the class’ potential. Its one of the two classes (other one being scrapper), when played well, can carry an entire team.
IMO, moa duration should be nerfed to 5s and CD reduced to 120s. Conditions on shatters should also nerfed.
Pips changes summary
- Amber has 5 tiers of 3 pips each instead of 3 tiers of 5 pips each.
- Emerald was reduced to 4 pips per tier. Number of tiers remains same.
- You get atleast 1 pip for a win regardless of whether its a blowout or a tight match. You lose 1 pip for a loss regardless of the stuff mentioned above.
- Winstreaks: If you win 2 in a row you will get 2 pips for every subsequent wins until the next loss.
Matchmaking: Instead of MMR deciding the matchups, matchmaking now considers personal MMR ONLY when pairing you up with someone within a certain pip range. You will get paired against within comparable pip range (+/-) regardless of your MMR.

what’s even more hilarious is his “buffed” version of the elite signet heals for less than any actual heals.
30% of max HP for a guardian is only like 5k health…on a 90 sec cooldown.
That elite signet needs a rework. Currently its useless in every gamemode and Renewed focus is always a much better option.
The suggested heals would be too OP.
Shelter healing increase plus AoE block is a bit too much.
SoR: 2 condis every 5 seconds? I hope you were kidding with that.
Receive the light could use some CD reduction but 15 sec is too low for an AoE heal.
Diamond T3 and I’ve given up already
Update: Reached legendary division today. Diamond division was weird in the sense that win streak and lose streaks are much more prominent than in ruby. Was stuck b/w T3/4 for more than a week and took 2 days from T3 to legend.

One thing you can do is to check the block list and see if they are outside of HoTM and then queue. Unfortunately, I doubt Anet takes action. I have reported verbal abuse similar to this in thr first week itself and yet the person is on almost everyday.
Under botting I believe but I really doubt if Anet does anything. I remember reporting a particular blocked player for both under verbal abuse (for flaming and cursing) and afk’ing and he is on almost everyday.
Condi chronomancers hands down. They have got the offense, burst, kittentons of CCs…oh and double moa. Moa is insta win if it lands.
Its the killing blow that counts, not any other source including conditions.
After the conversation with support they said they’d look into it and update here.

Diamond is a hell hole. I am in T2 atm and usually switch b/w support class or DPS class depending on our comp AND enemy’s team comp. Today I tried ranked for the first time in 3 days and I got 4 necros in my team (I was an ele) and our enemy team had 2 mes +2 scrappers and a rev. I asked them to change and only one changed to ele and he was playing DPS staff build. I knew we had literally zero chances unless the opponents are utter trash which is unlikely. We lost the match ~280-500.
Even in diamond I am frustrated that people aren’t aware of team comp issues.
