Everything aside, I just want to thank the SBI forum warriors for the laugh. I LOL’ed a lot after reading your QQ’s and excuses. They’ll be missed

I want to congratulate YB for this week, you guys are putting a hell of a lot of effort into this. Every fight I’ve been in against YB has been difficult and the strategy has been evident. More to the point, your commanders have some exceptional levels of discipline in only seeking out Green targets or blobs. The amount of effort put into not only defending your own territory but also carrying the defense of EB targets on eternal battlegrounds and EB’s own borderland to the point where we don’t even see blue defenders is just silly at times. Well fought, you’ve earned it every step of the way.

As to everything else going on in the forums on this match-up, everyone needs to show a little more respect and that’s not just for the forum warriors beating their chest. We’re all in this for the fun and challenge of the game.

1.) YB and EB are showing an amazing amount of discipline in their efforts against SBI, temporary alliances or not I’ve not seen anything like this without some serious backstabbing later on in the week or at least opportunistic strikes on the ally the entire match up.

2.) Every server has it’s problems and crowing about one server being a band wagon or ‘relying on the blob’ is like calling the kettle black too often. Everyone blobs since the meta currently is numbers win. The bandwagon effect is unfortunate, most came because of the community we had on our own diminished server after the massive transfers off. We’ve felt the sting of transfers both ways and it is what it is.

3.) I’m starting to get the feeling that the trolls on everyone’s borderlands are the work of one guild. The names sound a little too familiar, the guild tags are similar, and their actions are all pretty much the same. Bottom line, trolls be trolls, don’t feed them. Block/report/move on. Get some screenshots or inform some anet if you see them. That’s the best anyone can do.

In conclusion, good match up everyone. Everyone’s been whining about it being too easy for weeks so I’m glad that it’s a ‘wake up call’ for every server involved. Just YB/EB put more preparation going into the week. I can’t say we underestimated either server, we knew it was going to be difficult (or some of us did) just the unexpected alliance really tipped things over. Good work everyone! Keep up the good fight and as always keep the battles on the battlefield, no need to fight each other off of it too. o7

But believe it or not, we NEVER formed an alliance with EBay. It’s true that we wanted to (and we did) focus on SBI right from start as they are strong. It’s a COINCIDENCE that EBay also focussed on SBI rather than us. There was no communication between us and some of the EBay players did imply this in this thread if you dig up.

Although it DID contribute to the 65k+ lead, its just one of the reason, NOT the only reason we are winning, like some of SBI are saying.

Last but not the least, I hope the griefers/trolls get permanently banned ASAP.

OPINION:
YB and EBay has alliance
YB is only winning by sending trolls to SBI for wasting supply (The irony!)
YB has only “blobs” (irony!)
SBI is better, much more organized, have 100000x the number the other two server has and its just that most people are busy trying ESO beta and will try the new fractals, thereby losing WvW’ers.
Also, SBI is the ONLY server where people gets invitation for ESO beta, try out new PvE contents, etc

FACTS:
We are leading them by over 45k.
We have high chance of ending up 2nd, behind FA.

Just to remind you again, no matter how much you guys QQ, OPINIONS ARE NOT FACTS. GET OVER IT.

Just to put my two cents in:

Ever since they put in the build/supply achievements in WvW, I have seen more ballistas in one spot than I have since I started playing. In fact, when we were on DH, the guy with the #1 achievement spot (Yellow Robot or something) for DH was in every camp, and every keep building ballistas, all week. We had 28 ballistas by the NE supply shed in Garrison.

Is it possible that one of YOUR people is trying to finish the season achievements and doing this to you, and to keep the heat off of him, he says he is trolling you? I can’t explain the ruining of golems, but pugs take off in them all the time, omegas are fun, and it’s messed up.

We had a guy in our TS reset night who had to be kicked because he wasn’t part of SBI.

I have never understood all the hate against SBI, please explain.

Transferring to other servers should NOT be allowed during WvW seasons to avoid trolling and griefing. It is ridiculous to spend 1800 gems for transfer just to troll your enemy server. I hope ANet does something about this when the season ends.

I am Gray Drury, the golem driver. Tonight, 10 SBI Omega Seige Golems attacked Yak’s Bend Bay. They melted through the Southeastern gate like butter. As they awaited mesmer port to the South inner gate, I stealthed my Omega Golem in a shadow refuge. It seemed certain that Bay was to fall.

I proceeded to rush my golem, stealthed, into the enemy mass of Omegas. Positioning myself to be facing the same direction as them, I began aim directly down, buckling their chassis with rocket fire, flamethrower blasts, and ballistic barrages. It would seem I was unnoticed except by scant passerby, as the Omegas accepted me into their family like a lost kitten.

I killed that family. I slaughtered the SBI Omegas that surrounded me like an infectious computer virus taking over of their own machines. As they lay melted and scratched on the floor, SBI and EB forces were routed out of Yak’s Bend Bay. My golem survived at 7k HP , then eventually fell in further combat.

If you ever see an Omega seemingly mindlessly wandering through the map. If you ever peek above a tower’s gate to see an Omega standing on the inside, waiting. If you ever hear the sound of an unstealthing thief, then the pounding resonance of a metal stump -

Eternity’s bugs aren’t even fixed after a year. No blade trail, no burst —> making it inferior to having Twilight and Sunrise separately.

I had equipped both legendaries, twilight and sunrise, before making eternity.

Eternity will NOT be souldbound when you make it. However, if you choose a stat after you make it, it’ll make it soulbound.

I created Eternity just about 10 hours back, so I confirm my above statement is true

I am just a dawn away from crafting the ultimate greatsword, but the current eternity doesn’t even worth combining the two legendaries. No burst effect when drawn, no trail effect when thrown, etc. Plus, when you have Twilight and Sunrise separately you can switch looks accordingly. I’d rather prefer Sunrise at night and Twilight at day.

OP’s eternity is perfect. Shows both night and day at the same time with unique effect. I wish something like this is implemented soon

I had this issue a very long time ago and was required to file a support ticket to get it resolved as it only affects some people. Some have just waited it out and after a week or so it was back to working, but I suggest filing a support ticket as it may actually help with getting your TP working again quicker.

Not here to show off, but I think GW2 monthly achievement should be made tougher. It shouldn’t be achievable within 12 hours. NOT AT ANY COST.

I understand that there are plenty of casual players, but maybe increasing the number of events, champions killed, group events done, etc etc OR by even adding additional categories.

I can post screenshots of my monthly screenshots to prove my point, but I won’t.

They are on the minimap if you are in range, but I don’t think they’ll ever make it to the main map because it would be too easy to manipulate and exploit. /shakefistathackers

AN might let us do a third party app to add an overlay (like textmod cartographer one) at some stage, but don’t hold your breath.

I would pretty much agree with what you said. Let it be in the mini-map and not in main map. Also, it takes away the fun while exploring and finding them after each updates.

+1 from me too. Imagine a scenario when you will have a surplus of Karma after getting your exotic armor pieces plus all the ingredients you need to level up your crafting skills. It’s totally useless after that. I hope it justifies my point.

Recently leveled up my character to lvl 80, but I was wondering which God Armor should I go for. I always liked the aurora armor of Melandru for it’s major bonus to Power which is needed (by me) most, then toughness.
