BLTP - remove the price floors

in Suggestions

I have seen buy orders that are lower than the price floor, and I do not know if those are considered valid buy orders (if not, why are they there?) or if those are some sort of lingering bug.

And did you notice that when you’re selling things, if the buy order is below vendor price, you can’t actually sell the item to that buy order? They are not valid. I agree that they shouldn’t be able to have been put into the trading post in the first place, but removing the price floor doesn’t fix this.

I honestly can’t see any reason to want to remove the price floor. So all the stuff that’s vendor trash would drop to just one copper? Good plan!

Yes, if you sell at 1 copper above vendor, you’re losing some coin. Most players that I’ve heard of doing this do so in order for convenience to sell from anywhere to clear out bag space. Removing the price floor makes it so that inattentive people would lose even more money? How in the world could this possibly be beneficial?

Difficulty moving mini-map

When you hover the mouse over the minimap, a bar pops up on the right side. Expand your minimap a bit so there’s a bit of blank space on that bar — when you’ve found a bit of blank space, the cursor will change to a hand icon. When it changes to a hand, simply drag down a bit.

It also seems that if you resize the map far enough (up or down) it will move the map to the opposite corner.

You’re probably missing insignias. Those are going to be in your production window. Depending on which crafting discipline we’re talking about, insignias will use different materials.

Let’s use armor smithing as an example. When you start, you can create a mighty chain coat (simple). This is a level 5 armor piece, and it takes chest padding, a chest panel, and a vial of weak blood. For discovery, you’ll want to look at your available insignias. So you may have a mighty insignia — that’ll be some jute, maybe some thread, and a vial of weak blood.

Then you take the base materials plus insignia, and look at the discovery tab. So for a level 10 mighty chain coat, you’d use the insignia you just made, plus a chest padding, plus a chest panel. Smoosh them together (i.e., when it says “This looks like something!” in the Discovery tab, click Create) and you learn the level 10 mighty chain coat.

As you level your skill, new insignias will become available, to a point. For level 35 armor (and some tiers above that) there are insignia patterns available from the master armor smith, that you won’t learn just by leveling. These patterns will let you make rare pieces of armor (rather than masterwork or fine) and have better stats and a different appearance — though of course there is an increased cost in materials.

But really, the short version is that you need the base pieces, plus an insignia. This can be applied to armor and weapon smithing, huntsman, leather worker, artificer and tailor. Jewel crafting is similar, but uses gems rather than insignias or inscriptions. And cooking is a whole other ball of fish.

If your saying what!!! at this point you didn’t do you’re homework

Looks like you didn’t do your English homework. But aside from that…

Gw2 does not use a traditional auction house they use a stack system which means first in at a price point is last out.

These are two different things. A stack is last in, first out (LIFO). Think of it like a stack of plates. The last one you put on top is the first one you’d pick up again. A first in, first out (FIFO) system is a queue. Just like a queue at the post office, the first one to get there is the first one who is going to be able to buy stamps.

The auction house should be a FIFO system. But apparently it is not, which sounds like it’s already being addressed. In any case, though, this doesn’t invalidate undercutting, because the FIFO/LIFO system is only applicable for a given price point.

Let’s say I put up a stack of ore, priced at 20 copper each piece. No matter whether the auction house is FIFO or LIFO, if someone else comes along and lists a stack of ore at 19 copper each piece, they’re going to sell their ore first. Why? Because it’s listed at the top of the available listings, and people are simply going to buy the cheapest ore they can. If forty thousand other people also list their ore at 19 copper each piece, I’m never going to sell my ore.

Why don’t prices for ore drop to vendor + 1 copper, like many of the armor and weapons listed? Because the demand for ore is high enough to keep the price up. Using my above example, if I list a stack at 20 copper each, and one person comes along and lists a stack at 19 copper each… well it’s likely that there is enough demand to buy both stacks. So their ore sells. My ore sells. The price remains (more or less) constant.

I’ve already written too much, but to address your second point — people see the trading post anywhere as a convenience to empty their bags. “I can sell to the TP from inside this cave, don’t even have to find a vendor, yay!” Personal experience is that even with just 10 slot bags (and no extra bag slots purchased from the gem store), I can find a vendor easily enough. Especially with depositing collectibles and salvage kits. But until the common perception falls into line with that, you’re speaking to empty air. People don’t mind the loss when they see a perceived benefit to convenience.

Edit to add: Note that I am no economist, so if I’ve mucked up the ideas of supply and demand, please don’t hesitate to correct me.

What do you salvage, and what do you vendor?

in Players Helping Players

Posted by: Nkuvu.2570

Nkuvu.2570

I only salvage the “salvage items”. Like the bit of metal or shredded rag items that I get. I’ll sell green or better on the trading post if the price is higher than vendor + 1 copper. I’ll simply vendor everything else.

For me, though, all of my crafters are past tier 1 items and nearly past tier 2. That is, my tailor is done with jute, and mostly done with wool. So spending extra coin to salvage the items I get — which are highly likely to give those two materials, considering where I play most often — doesn’t make much sense. If I was still leveling tailoring through tier 1, I’d salvage more of the light armor pieces. If I was still leveling my armor smith, I’d salvage more weapons and heavy pieces. And so on.

I’ve found that many of the recipes out in the world sold by karma vendors don’t reflect what you actually learn.

Examples:
“Recipe: Darkvine Gloves” teaches leather workers how to make “Leather Gloves”.
“Recipe: Atzintli’s Spear” teaches weapon smiths how to make… some spear. I think it’s Quetzal Spear, not positive.
“Recipe: Owl Amulet” teaches jewel crafters to make some amulet, my best guess is “Jeweler’s Broach” but again I’m not sure.

I could go on, but you get the point. I’d like to see which one I just learned, rather than trying to memorize what I have beforehand and learn the recipe to compare what’s new. A chat message “You have learned how to make Giant Purple Monkeys” would be fine. Or ideally, match the name of the recipe to the item it creates.

In many cases this is already in place. The “Recipe: Warden Rations” makes (surprise!) Warden Rations. Just not sure why many of them have mismatched names.

Old Oola's Lab

I’ve had mixed results.

Most times, I can’t interact with the lock at all. I’ve spoken to the researcher and mentioned that I had the crystal. He tells me to use it, but… the lock is completely non-interactive.

Once, I walked up just as someone else did. The lock did have a prompt to be used, but the other player used their crystal and we entered the lab. The event failed, however, and I’m not sure why — the researcher was protected at all times.

And one time, all the doors were open, and nothing in the lab was hostile. The researcher and his team were outside, just standing around. I ran all the way to the back and grabbed the chest.

At this point I don’t even know what’s expected behavior for the lab.

Etiquette Question: rez the defeated or fight the ongoing fight?

in Players Helping Players

Posted by: Nkuvu.2570

Nkuvu.2570

In that particular scenario? I’d fight first, then resurrect.

In other scenarios I might do the reverse. Very situational — can I safely help up the character from the ground without becoming simply another casualty myself? Is the run back from the waypoint (or other resurrection location, not sure how PvP works) shorter than the time it would take me to resurrect? Is the character downed and fighting something small? (if so, it’s often faster to help kill what they’re fighting so they can rally). And so on.

Sometimes I make bad decisions. I tried picking up some defeated characters in Diessa Plateau, for the champion fight in… the town whose name escapes me. The champion simply came over and killed my character as well. But it shouldn’t ever be a source of name calling for choosing one way or another.

Questions about putting Money in the Bank / Why do it

in Players Helping Players

Posted by: Nkuvu.2570

Nkuvu.2570

I use the bank money for character to character transfer. But also for simple consolidation of funds. Each character carries around about 20 silver, and the rest gets deposited into the bank.

So in the end I don’t have one character that’s rich and the rest poor, they’re all about the same — meaning that I don’t have to jump to alts if one of them wants to use the money for things like trading post or what have you. It’s also easier to keep track of whether I can really afford something if I know my overall wealth at a glance.

I haven’t yet found anything in the world where I felt that I needed to have that item right this moment (i.e., the vendor with the shiny shiny stuffs), all of my purchases have been in town anyway.

Btw, for the people that are annoyed: In Rata Sum at the crafting parts of the city, there are no idle conversations at all

“Are you currently looking for krewe members with a background in Synergetics?”
“Not at the moment. Those types of positions tend to be very fluid. Check back later.”

“How is the Eternal Alchemy treating you this fine day?”
“Like a cog wedged into the broken tooth of a main flywheel.”

“You look exhausted. You’re working too hard.”
“You know what they say, a rotating cog amasses no sporophytes. (sp?)”
“You’ve not spent a lot of time in the jungle, have you?”

“Incinergen Labs is actively looking for krewe members.”
“You’re not the ones responsible for that huge reactor leak, are you?”
“Absolutely not. Reports of lab explosions are exaggerated.”

…all of those from memory. No guarantees on the accuracy, but there are plenty of idle conversations in the crafting areas.

I can cut/copy just fine, and I’ve verified that I had something in the clipboard by pasting into a text document, but when I hit paste into the reply box… nothing. Oddly, I can paste into the new topic comment box — just not the thread reply (even if I do a preview or go to the “more options” page).

Rather annoying since I had a longer paragraph that I wanted to move from one spot to another in my reply. Cut the paragraph, and couldn’t restore it. Maybe it’s the forum’s way of telling me that I talk too much, but I don’t think any of my posts have been anywhere near a post count limit.

How much time have you played? Hardcore or Casual?

I play more than most people. I blame the unemployment and lots of free time. I don’t have the actual number of hours (not sure I really want to know), but it’s a whole lot.

I still consider myself a casual player, though.

I have four characters at level 35. And four more characters that are lower, with my lowest at 16 or so. I’ve done map completion for Queensdale, Metrica Province, and Wayfarer Hills on more than one character. I’ve completed Kessex Hills on one character (though a few more have at least done a heart or two). Brief forays into Brisban Wildlands and Diessa Plateau. And I’ve taken a very quick tour through Gendarran Fields on one character.

So the number of things I’ve seen in game has been really really limited, but I’m enjoying my slow pace.

For me, it’s D. All of the above.

When I play with my chef, for instance, I’ll be standing in one spot for a long time. I’m experimenting with discoveries, and this process takes a while. Less time than it used to (now that I don’t have to do the inventory shuffle, thank you ArenaNet) but still a fair bit of time. I could recite a lot of these conversations from memory, and not because I was trying to memorize them.

I love these random interactions. I really enjoy walking through the city and catching part of a conversation. The conversation in the Grove near the gate to Lion’s Arch (“Your golem is strange. Was strange, rather”) cracks me up every time.

But near a crafting station, it happens far too frequently. I know it’s supposed to be a busy, bustling city, but the repetition kills it. Voice acting is an expensive part of the game from what I understand, and sadly even if the number of lines were tripled you’d still run into the repetitive nature considering how long people stand at a crafting station sometimes.

The best solution I can come up with is that if a crafting station window is open, disable voices. Including other players, so the warrior with “For great justice!” on auto-cast is also muted.

(for the trading post, I don’t understand the issue at all. I can buy and sell from anywhere, only have to visit the NPC for pickup. Maybe it’s just that I’m not buying as much as other players are, so don’t have frequent pickups)

Q: Can I transmute gem store clothing?

Why not try it yourself?

The question might have been asked by someone who doesn’t have the town clothes. Asking before you buy, that sort of thing.

To answer the question, however: Town clothes cannot be transmuted to armor.

I can put the town clothes into the transmutation window, but when I try to drag an armor piece to the other side, it doesn’t allow it. Just to double check, I tried with the pirate boots, in an attempt to transmute to light armor boots.

I could attempt to verify with medium or heavy boots, but I can’t imagine that there would be any difference. The tool tip for the pirate boots shows “Foot Clothing” while the tool tip for my regular boots shows “Foot Armor”.

in Crafting

After getting several ruined ore chunks and plant fibers due to me forgetting to swap tools, I just decided to use the higher level tools. I only buy iron tools now, as I’m playing through areas with iron and silver and soft wood trees and so forth. More expensive, less frustrating for me. Not only do I not have to worry about getting ruined materials, but inventory is easier to manage as well.

I have not noticed any difference when returning to lower level zones. It seems like I’m still getting the same number of materials from each node, with the same chances of additional materials (cinnamon sticks, malachite/amber/et cetera). The durability of the tool is the same — an iron pick used to mine three copper ore loses three durability just like it would for mining three iron ore.

Of course this is anecdotal evidence, but I would still be surprised if better tools gave better results for lower level nodes.

Personal Story and lots of deaths...

in Personal Story

Posted by: Nkuvu.2570

Nkuvu.2570

For me, it seems like the difficulty varies widely. So much so that I have no idea what to expect for any stage of the story.

Consider two Asura that I had during the BWE3. One of them had to fight Inquest. Three or four Inquest, but the rest of the krewe was nearby, so it was a breeze. The other had to go pick up a capacitor from a lab, and had to fight Inquest. Three or four Inquest, but the rest of the krewe was out chatting with the Snaff judges, so fighting alone. And this was just the very first quest in the personal story lines, with characters that have very very few abilities (I was doing fine out in normal PvE, so I should be fine in the personal story, right? No).

Or contrast some Sylvari story lines. I forget exact names of the story quests, but one had to rescue the White Stag from the Nightmare Court. Waves of Nightmare courtiers and their hounds came in, so quickly that my character didn’t have time to start healing between fights, much less have skills off cooldown. Another character was on the Green Knight story, protecting an NPC. Waves of Nightmare courtiers came in, with plenty of time to heal up between waves. Guess which one was considerably easier?

I do understand a sense of urgency for these quests, but some time frames are far too small. For instance, with any turrets that need to be deployed for the defense — we’re given several turrets/traps, each with two or three ways to be deployed. But almost no time to read over what they do. I’m not a slow reader, but ended up throwing down whatever I could simply because I had no time to see if what I was doing would actually be helpful.

For some quests, you’re given choices… but the information is lacking, so it’s a blind toss of the coin. For instance, my noble human thief had to choose a second for a fight. But I didn’t know what the choices I had were aside from names. Is this NPC a Necromancer? Mesmer? Elementalist? Another thief? Yep, could be any one of those. Pretty sure that one of my choices was warrior. But he may also be a guardian. In the end I chose poorly, and got slaughtered. The only reason I won at all was because the respawn point was close enough that I could attack again before the targets had fully filled their health bars.

At this point, my approach for a personal story line for a new alt is to level the character to 20. I then have some nicely upgraded armor, a few utility slots, and several trait points. Play through to the level 10 personal story missions, and… well, maybe I’ll get back to them later.

My opinion of combat - Incredible bias against melee!

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Nkuvu.2570

Nkuvu.2570

Who says a warrior or thief has to be melee?

For really hard hitting enemies, I may simply switch to longbow on my warrior, or dual pistols on my thief.

I’ve also done this for events with lots of enemies that spawn in different areas. For instance, one dredge event in Diessa Plateau, they kept popping up trying to build a wall. My warrior started to run back and forth to the enemies, but ranged characters were taking them down faster than I could get to them. So I also switched to ranged, and that worked just fine.

On the flip side, when I’m just out exploring or doing hearts or smaller random events, my warrior and thief have no problem switching to melee weapons and dishing out damage there too.

Edit: I should add a disclaimer that I haven’t done any dungeons yet, so maybe I’m totally uninformed there.

Gem store is a fine source for town clothes. I bought gems with in game gold, and bought the Krytan armor set (which is an armor transmutation, but similar price) without too much difficulty at level 20. It did take some saving up of gems, bought them as I could, but mostly because I didn’t want to go broke while doing this. It did feel like something of an accomplishment, but of course that’s very subjective.

The problem as I see it, however, is the lack of variety of town clothes. You can look like anything you want, as long as it’s a pirate captain or a cook. Or regular town clothes with a different hat.

Bomb stacking

I was hoping that this was a one time occurrence, but it seems to have happened again.

In Queensdale, there’s a bandit cave south of the moa ranch. In the cave are bombs you can pick up for all sorts of explody fun times. Whee.

Out in the rest of the world, my machine gives me 80-90 FPS without issue. I don’t keep track of it at all times, but even in heavy combat situations I don’t notice a lag. I walk into the bandit caves, and my FPS drops to 20-25. Why? Stacks of bombs. Stacks and stacks and stacks of bombs, all with their own shiny particle effects.

I don’t know if the game is respawning these and massively duplicating them. Or maybe someone thinks it’s hilarious to dupe the bombs somehow.

Whatever the cause, however, the bomb stacking kills game performance (and if there’s someone on a machine that’s near minimum specs, this issue is going to change their FPS to SPF… as in, seconds per frame). Please correct the duping. It’s not really a game exploit, but definitely kills performance. Just in that area, though it wouldn’t surprise me to see this issue in other places with items that can be picked up.

So what if you have points invested in more than 2 crafting disciplines, with the goal of advancing them all to 400? Not gonna be everyone’s goal, but might be possible. So you advance 2 to 400, want to see which one to start next.

Choose one that’s not active? I don’t understand the problem you’re describing.

Let’s say I start with armorsmith and weaponsmith. I bring those to 400, and want to max the rest. Maybe I want to use the same character. So I’d go train… anything other than armorsmith/weaponsmith. What’s the issue?

Or if you happen to need to craft something in one profession you are not currently using, and you want to see quickly if you can make the item. The only way to do that ATM is to go to crafting specialist and see how much it will cost to switch. Not really too difficult, but there should be a quick, easy way for them to provide this info in the interface.

As I stated. The achievements panel will show you the highest level you’ve trained in a profession, no matter what character it’s on. You never have to go to a crafting station to figure out what your highest level is.

If you want to know if you’ve discovered a particular recipe, the switching cost alone will not help you anyway. So again, I really don’t see the problem you’re describing.

I just bought this recipe from an NPC at Kessex Haven Waypoint (in Kessex Hills, unsurprisingly). I’m pretty sure this NPC was the same as the one you escort from Earthworks Bluff, he was standing next to a pack bull just outside. After I bought the recipe, I thought about buying a second one — but just as I started to talk to him again, he and his lady friend ran inside the walls, and disappeared. Presumably to start their dynamic escort quest event again.

My jeweler apparently already knows this recipe, but I don’t see it in the available list. Double checked filters, and nothing is blocked.

The closest I can think of is the “Jeweled Broach” recipe. It doesn’t look like the other amulets I can craft, requiring just a copper setting and a turquoise (it’s also soulbound on acquire). This is in addition to the Turquoise Copper Amulet, which takes a turquoise, copper setting, and copper chain. The latter is not soulbound on acquire.

Final note — this particular recipe is not bound to account or character. So rather than running around trying to find the NPC, you can simply look on the trading post. The tooltip will tell you if you have learned the recipe or not.

New today. I went to go buy iron ore from the trading post. Go to the front page of the trading post, and see “Top supplied items” — one of which is iron ore, with 725334 listings.

Click on the ore, and… 0 available.

I am given the option to place a buy order. Or “buy instantly” — which only then brings me to the currently offered ore. The whole time, I still see 0 available, but could immediately buy 250 ore.

So it’s technically working, just looks awfully odd while doing so.

Edit to add another:

Filters are not working with sorting. Example: I set a filter to show armor, and leggings, and only available. Got some results, then sorted by price. Suddenly my results are not filtered at all, and I show tons of things that are not available, nor are they armor pieces.

For example, my thief was born as a noble. For the level 10 personal story quest she had a choice of a few different characters, to fight a pair of veteran NPCs. My thief got utterly slaughtered. I’m not sure if it was because my choice in pairing wasn’t ideal, or I just didn’t know what to expect. But I’d like to try again to test out. Without having to have a spare character slot and leveling up to the point of the quest.

And of course I would expect that repetition would not provide rewards. Just like missions in Guild Wars 1.

I purchased three extra character slots, so that I can have one character of each profession. But I’ve found that with eight slots, I have to scroll to see all. Please widen the selection so I can see eight characters at once. Scrolling for just one character feels silly — though if I had more than eight, scrolling would be expected.

2. Enable hotkeys for logout/character select.

In Guild Wars 1, I could hit F12, C, right arrow, enter — and I’d log out of my current character to the next in line. In Guild Wars 2, F12 works. But then I have to click buttons for logging out to character select, as well as changing which character I want to play.

3. Keep collapsed/expanded selections persistent.

When I collapse the cooking materials section of the collectible items in the bank, if I switch to production/discovery then back, the cooking section is expanded again. I’d like the game to remember this state — even if it’s reset on logout.

That’s the combined material cost of all the components. It’s so you don’t have to individually craft the insignias and armor pieces every time you want to make it.

I’m not sure what you’re thinking of, but the “simple” legs are the level 5 recipe. The total cost of the materials should be one vial of weak blood, one bronze ingot, one bolt of jute, one spool of jute thread.

Can confirm the bug, though. My armorsmith is showing the required materials as 4, 14, 4 and 8. I’d rather not test to see if these numbers are correct, as I have no use for the leggings and don’t want to potentially waste 14 bronze ingots on making them.

Thank you for asking about this. I noticed the change, but thought it was intentional — nice to know that it wasn’t and will be fixed.

Day and Night error

The game day/night cycles do not correspond to real world cycles. They’re much faster — I believe the number is somewhere around 2 hours of daylight and 40 minutes of night time (but don’t quote me on that exact number).

Why I think that crafting is broken

Or you can read the further posts and actually see my point. The people who are saying it is easy are those at max level. I am, and this is anet’s “Design”, supposed to be able to keep my crafting level up with my profession level but I’m level 52 and am making level 30 weapons that are trash to me. I could be so much further in the game if I hadn’t busied myself in lower level areas farming fine materials trying to make gear on my level.

I still don’t see your point, and I’ve read every post in the thread.

I have no problems keeping my skill level appropriate to my character level. Yes, sometimes I buy fine materials from the trading post. But I also sell common materials on the trading post. Net profit, actually.

Yes, if you’re level 52 and you’re making level 30 weapons, then yep, you’re behind. You’ll need to do things to catch up to your character’s level. This is not a complicated idea.

My armorsmith/weaponsmith is level 30 (highest level character), making items that are for a level 35 character. I’ve stopped most crafting for my alts simply because they’re also making items for higher than character level. I fail to see the problem you’re having with crafting. (side note: before you claim “oh but you haven’t tried X profession!”, yes, I have. I have them all — and problems with none of them. Except cooking, because I haven’t found beans yet (and would rather find them through exploration as opposed to a simple Google search)).

Suggestion: Easy way to see Individual Crafting levels in one place.

You can look at the achievements to get the highest level for each discipline. Under the “Tradesman” section of the achievements, you’ll see the highest level for each discipline.

Of course it doesn’t show which character has that discipline, but at a glance I can see that my armorsmith is at 125, my artificer is at 163, and so on. If for some reason you had more than one character with a given crafting discipline (say, two armorsmiths), you would of course only see the highest — but I can’t think of a good reason to have this duplication.

For individual characters, the hero window does show your active crafting disciplines, including level and known recipes (even if you’re not at a crafting station).

Enough about Bear Wrangling!

My favorite is when I repair armor, and the first thing I get attacked by out in the world… is a bear.

I’m not very good at keeping my promises to the repair NPC.

Your opinions: Which race has the best starter zone?

I started the game with Metrica Province, and it remains as my favorite starting zone. I’m also a fan of the Sylvari starting area.

Human area is a bit above Norn for me, but I think in part that’s due to the tutorial. That is, humans were being overrun by centaurs. Norns were sitting around hunting and drinking, so it really lacked the sense of urgency.

Least favorite area is Charr. I get so lost around that area, and I’m generally good with direction.

I Wish Vistas Were Not Needed for Zone Completion

I’ve done very little map completion: Lion’s Arch, Divinity’s Reach, the Grove, Rata Sum, Metrica Province and Queensdale. I thoroughly enjoyed getting map completion for those areas.

On the other hand, I’m horrible at jumping puzzles. Bad coordination, and don’t like heights in real life (in game heights sometimes give me the jibblies too). So I don’t plan to do many jumping puzzles.

I do appreciate vistas, and I love that they’re part of zone completion. I would not be sad if vistas were all completely separate from jumping puzzles — it sounds like there are some that are blurring the line, though I haven’t encountered any of those yet myself.

So if there are any vistas that require too much jumping… I guess I just won’t complete that zone. This is not a problem, and even though I don’t like jumping puzzles, I don’t think anything needs to change.

Butter: I have a lot of it

I wouldn’t be too concerned about an abundance of butter. I don’t have a lot of use for it, but at least it’s not a problem to find when I do want it.

What bothers me is that it has seemed to replace the other crafting profession drops like jute and leather scraps. I have tons of butter and very little cloth and leather.

Butter does not make good armor. Please scale the drop rates down… just a bit would be appreciated.

Camera control issues - a documented list

Every time I zone, my camera zoom level is reset to a default. I don’t want the default, but I don’t want to re-adjust the zoom after every single load screen.

It seems that this is fairly new, but perhaps it’s been this way for a long time and I’m just now noticing it. It’s most noticeable on my Norn characters, but all characters seem to be suffering from the same issue.

Clearly not a game breaking bug, but annoying nonetheless.

Running Windows 7 64 bit professional, no problems with any other preferences resetting themselves to default. If any more information would be helpful, please ask.
