every single time i bought gems was with in game gold and not dollars. Do you have any idea how much gold 800 gems would be? that would be close to 30g and all i want is chest/leg piece. Don’t want to spend 30g for two armor pieces
Am i the only one who wanted necs to be ‘op’ as they were before last patch? It was nice to see them melt d/d eles when d/d eles were destroying them easily since game was launched. I don’t even have a nec nor im i planing to make one in the future but i wish necs stay powerful and other classes get to their level instead of making necs crap as they were since August 28th 2012.

There’s no such thing as condi phantasm. iMage and its crappy 3 stacks of confusion does nothing. iDuelist is the only that could be considered a condi phantasm but that requires a certain trait which nullifies this as a condi phant. I think you don’t understand what a condi phantasm is lolz. Every phantasm except maybe and that just a maybe iWhaler scales better with power (including iMage and its given retaliation). There’s no phantasms that apply multiple damaging condis such as burning/poison/torment/bleeds with very low base damage so the whole phantasm would be truly considered a ‘condition phantasm’. People find ‘the most’ condi oriented phantasm from what’s available but that doesn’t mean we have a true condi phantasm available now. iDuelist is by far the one that would deal the most condi damage on a single target but it requires high enough crit chance, SI and Phantasmal Fury which negates this being a condi phantasm because of this requirement. Its just another phantasm that ‘could work’ in a condi build but isn’t a condi phantasm. Does a real phantasm that deals in pure condi damage exist? No. Debate finished, get over yourself lol.

A phantasm does not need to stack multiple conditions in order for it to be considered a condition phantasm, I guess you are unable to comprehend this simple fact. more aoe. 100% more aoe. in Zerg fights in wvw I’m able to use chaos storm and then feedback if on my bar and that’s pretty much all the aoe I’ll be able to do
iZerker is pretty good but after one attack you better shatter because it will be dead in seconds anyway

If it reapplied with every hit, then yes, it would be enough but if its just something like blind your target once on use then that’s just an epic failure.

Oh Ranger Nuka Cola, your suggestion of Barrage stabbed me on my heart.
why? Barrage is just an aoe skill, fits the spot of an utility perfectly and give us more survivability on LB. Not only giving us more survivability when wielding a LB but also more versatility because you could take Barrage only when needed instead of always having it loaded on a weapon set. Barrage doesn’t do any good when you 1v1 some1, but an additional evade/burning or immobilize would be great

Would be even better if it immobilized your target for 2sec. I only named fire because no bows have it and i would like to set people on fire across the map
What i would suggest
First and the most important thing for me would be increase arrow velocity so you could hit people at long rages while they’re moving.
Skills
Long Range Shot: Increase its attack speed a little more (i don’t want SB speed but it still feels a little too slow)
Rapid Fire: Channeling time decreased to 3sec instead of 4 1/2
Hunter’s Shot: perfect as is
Point Blank Shot: perfect as is
Barrage: completely removed from LB skill set and put on the utility list. They added a little more survivability with stealth but i feel like this bow needs some kind of evade. So i’d suggest replacing Barrage with Burning Arrow: Set your target on fire for 3sec and evade attacks for 1/2sec, base damage would be low (same as Hunter’s Shot) and have a 13-15sec CD.
Now, im not saying to completely remove Barrage from the game, its good at tagging, but i DO NOT want to ‘waste’ a weapon skill for it, when Barrage is very situational. If Barrage was an utility, all you had to do is equip a bow (LB or SB) to use it, if you had it equipped but have a sword in MH, barrage would be blocked as some skills are underwater until you switch for a bow.
I would agree if they removed/nerfed stealth in pvp or limit to something like 1-2sec and not more.
People say DE destroy phantasms, yes, it does, ‘if’ you have three up, and you’re dodging but so does, iLeap, Phase Retreat, Mirror Blade and so on. Do some of you just spam auto attacks while running a phantasm build or what o.O

By now you should have both, both have their uses. If by zerg you mean zerging in wvw then i’d suggest GS with sword/focus, if you solo roam then change GS for staff or you could just zone people with GS/Staff which makes people mad from what i’ve noticed. Both are great weapons and having both is absolutely necessary.

well, i play spvp once or twice a week (sometimes none), got to rank 30 and i never even tried ranked tourney. I like pvp as much as i like pve but the fact that i can’t use my pve stuff in pvp kills it for me, plus the only game mode available is one of the most boring game modes i’ve played in recent years. How can people play spvp for longer than ~2h at a time is a mystery, while i could play 10h straight in gw1’s pvp np

I would say it is. If you don’t have a fully geared zerker mez/warrior gl finding a group for cof1 and if you don’t cof1, there’s nothing to farm in this game. You can’t just learn to solo UW on youtube and go farm metric tones of ectos as you could in gw1. You make some money from dungeons but i personally would never call this ‘making money’ but more like ‘surviving’.

The change was mainly for PvP if I´m not mistaken as rangers would sit pets on the middle point and defend the back point. People whined, problem solved. Yay?
3000 range might allow this to come back and I guess it s very important to them for it not to.
if this was the case, it should’ve been nerfed in spvp and not pve/wvw as well.
Vulnerability is the worst lol its a dps killer on many skills in this game. I don’t care about your skills that give 1-3 stacks of vulnerability, i want at least 5 if it uses a ‘spot’ instead of a damaging condition. The only time i like vulnerability is with Dazzling/Diversion on mesmer, everywhere else it suck in my opinion

C/D thief. Hit for 8k on tanky builds all day every day and when getting spiked its just shadow refuge/heartseeker to the other side of the map…
Increase in stealth duration isn’t needed, what’s needed is CD reduced to something shadow refuge like, 60sec and dat stupid 2sec casting time is just ridiculous even if they decreased CD to 60sec. I mainly use MI to get out of hairy situations, not run for half a year with my hand raised.
Nuka, not everyone runs a shatter build, where illusions are your main form of damage. Take this build for example

As you can see, no DE. It’s a hybrid phantasm shatter build, full bunker with great damage and support with nearly perma projectile reflect. And what’s your definition of awesome? Does being able to 1v2 consistently, and occasionally 1v3 count? Cause that’s how I fare with this build.
I know not every1 runs a shatter build, i don’t always run a shatter build and DE in a none shatter build NEVER ever came close to bothering me.

playing without DE is plain stupid. Illusions are your damage, if you can’t create them you’re just asking to be worst than all other mesmers who runs DE. I never ran a build without DE and will never do. Not even worth trying builds without it. DE to mesmers is like an auto attack (skill 1 duh) to all classes, try to play without ever using it and see how ‘awesome’ you’re.
Travel fee by its self is a poor poor very poor design choice, especially for an mmo.

Hunter’s Call is still garbage for the CD, casting time and range it has. This thing needs to apply bleeding or blind per hit. and why is that if target gets out of LoS while being attacked by birds it makes them miss? Makes no sense whatsoever
I am starting to wonder why the Anet team abandoned their vision to release bi weekly Nintendo knock offs disguised as a living world. Why the addiction to mini games, with no attention to the game itself. There are hundreds of bugs that affect game play every day that are being compounded every time they update the game with what I consider fluff content, and most of them have been present since launch.
I had high hopes for GW2, enjoyed it immensely at launch. Now I see what many predicted when Ms. Cox was announced. Sadly it will continue until only the under 10 crowd will play. Well, I guess that fits the maturity of the mini game/jump puzzle platform that GW2 has become.
Simple. Fluffy/goofy/colorful content attracts newcomers. A bug fix does nothing else but that, fix a bug. Fixing bugs won’t bring new people in because they don’t even know their existence, but a new colorful casual content certainly will. the problem with anet right now is that they’re WAAAAY too focused at pleasing not their gw1 long running fanbase, not their wvw fanbase, not their pvp fanbase, not their challenge/end game lovers fanbase but casuals, casuals that come join the game every week, its their main goal to keep them busy while the rest is left out. this is a fact anyone who’ve been playing since launch could easily see.
As title says, 2k range makes no sense. Illusions have about the same range (if not exactly that) and this is your pet, give it some decent range.

it gets more hits off than you would expect there is not really any way to negate every single hit from rapid fire and even if you only get off half it is still a decent amount of dmg
I have been using a LB a lot in wvw since patch lol i know how it hits. A person could move from side to side while being at 700 range and running away from you, you will miss almost every hit… But hey! we can spec for 1500 range and guess how many times it will hit anything?

I say reduce the CD to 60 seconds. Otherwise it’s great.
I really don’t think it needs a 60 second cd other than it would make runes of lyssa more attractive.
I just want a basilisk venom short cd ult for runes really.
It sucks getting interrupted but I’ve learned to pop distortion as I channel Mass invis if I’m afraid of a interupt.
60sec CD with 1/4 casting time or 40sec CD with current casting time is what it needs.
So i was trying iElasticity underwater on clones and noticed something, the bounced clone attacks don’t apply any boons if bounced back at you. Don’t know if this is new or not, but how can a patch go live without new mesmer bugs? So probably new

Vulnerability covers bleed stacks, burning, torment and confusion. With staff clones (again with the vuln!) and normal gameplay you can stack 20 vulnerability and even if its not that great for your damage, it is for your allies.
Remember that the effect is aoe.
Its also the best way we have to apply weakness and the stacks of bleed adds to WoC and sharper images stacks. This trait shines with DE and for condition builds, its golden.
Vulnerability doesn’t cover anything because too many condi will be reapplied on target with clones spamming WoC. This trait has the same problem WoC has, vulnerability has no place to be there. I do remember this being aoe and aoe on it is pretty small.

What is it? Its an elite skill=should be ‘better’ than the rest, super long CD, almost 2sec casting time and only cloaks for 5sec… I could understand if this skill could cloak zegs like Veil but its not the case. I would take Shadow Refuge which isn’t even an elite any day if it was possible. Casting time should be 1/4 on this, not 2sec…

The golden rule is, if you ignore the oblivious, they go away eventually.
Wasn’t this trait applying 1 stack of vulnerability and 1 stack of bleeding before? I could swear this was the case months ago when i was running lots of condi builds. And i wouldn’t call this trait golden at all. What vulnerability does to condi builds? If it was replaced by burning or at least Torment, increase weakness to 5sec then it would be ‘golden’

+1 These cotton candy updates are beginning to bore , although I am sure the players under 14 are enjoying the mini games and collect a 1000 whatevers.
I would rather we get a once a month permanent update of new areas or a dungeon , this game badly needs an equivalent to fow/uw and for most this living story just is not cutting it . Boring story and content – cmon guys you can do so much better than this.
