any1 noticed condition damage stops when you illusion is dead/shattered? THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXES PRONTO.

Any1 else thinks that 3sec is way too low for destroying all your illusions? Should be 5sec. 3sec is bad enough for pvp and in pve its almost completely useless.

How many more years will it take them to fix illusions condition damage glitch? Is this even known? Because when you stack 15 stacks of bleed then all your illusions die/shattered and their condition stop dealing damage is a complete mess… Right now shattering on a condition mes is awful.

gw2 isn’t good enough to learn stuff from the ultimate master race game such as Dark/Demon’s Souls.

I’ve fought the Claw of Jormag when I’ve participated in one wave of the elementals that come from his breath…then got called away to deal with something in real life. I come back to a gold medal and a chest to loot.

It just seems a real shame that all these dragons really are are loot pinatas. There are timers online, and people just show up for free loot. No skill needed. No chance of three of the most epic sounding events in the game of changing the world or even being failed.

Hard to pretend that isn’t disappointing. :-( Is there a way to fail that I’m just not aware of? Can that be expanded on? They start to feel like a facebook game with better graphics. Log in according to a timer, swing your sword a few times, bag loot, switch browser pages so the boss doesn’t see you…

Yes they’re loot pinatas and very poor quality pinatas too. Wasting 20 minutes+ on claw for 4 blues and 1 useless green isn’t even enough for travel cost. I stopped all dragons completely cuz they’re pretty much one of the biggest waste of time gw2 has. You’ll have to kill claw over 1000 times to have a 10% of getting an exotic from his chest, its just LOLZ.

same. i’ve done so many dungeon paths every single day that i cannot stand them anymore and since you cannot make any money worth a **** by playing dungeons, there’s not a single reason to do them. if their new dungeon is what we already have but longer and have 1 rare skin drop from bosses instead of a juicy number of ZERO, i’m quitting gw2 for months until there will be something to do at lev80.

since launch all i’ve been doing is pug mode and had absolutely no problems. people crying about pug this n that just suck at this game and have to find some1 to blame… You’re not happy to skip useless mobs that NEVER reward you for anything? Prefer to spend 2h per dungeon instead of 30 minutes? Great logic and hope you don’t waste any1 else’s time but your guildies.

i keep reading people say “i’m never going into a dungeon again”, what are you peeps doing in gw2 at level80? gather all day?lol nice gameplay…. Dungeons sucks and have no rewards whatsoever but i force myself because if not playing dungeons there’s absolutely nothing to do.

precision/condition damage/toughness is my fav armor mods and i’ve been using this for over 700h. there’s no accessories with those mods (in exotic) but there is in masterwork… who wants masterwork when there’s exotic ones? so stupid not to include this in exotic.

there’s anti grind system but every single legendary (and many other mystic forge skins) require you to grind 10’s or 100’s of hours haha what a joke idea from anet. And what if some1 wants to make some money farming sparks for charged lodestones? What you say? Oh yeah don’t grind and do other stuff… stuff like what? there’s nothing to do. The day they add things for a level 80 is the day they can add one million anti grind systems.

all you used is a staff and you call torch/scepter viable lol. THEY BOTH SUCK! there’s no learn how to play it because its bad, baaaad. iMage is one of the worst phantasms in the game. Prestige is awesome but do you want a skill that takes half a year to recharge while your 2nd skill (iMage) is only good at shattering? I made a thread about how of a joke scepter is compared to any main hand weapons so i won’t write what i think of it. What you’ve done in this video could’ve been done better/kill faster with any weapons but torch/scepter.

For something as slow as the staff, sigil of battle (will increase your condition damage) is the only way to go for me.

then 3 people would do it instead of none! no1’s doing dungeons cuz there’s no point. Any1 who wanted armors/weapons from Arah got them when 8shards farm was available. Now you would do Arah for what reason exactly? There’s none.

Mini Legendaries! What i mean is, every dungeon drops a certain pre-precursor. You need all 8 of them (8 dungeons). Then combine the 8 weapons in mystic forge for 2 precursors, add two additional (like 250 ectos and Gifts of Light for example) mats and you got a legendary that was actually fun to get. No more Karma bs farming! All you’re doing is Dungeons. That way i’m pretty sure tones of people would be doing dungeons and not being dead as they’re now.

Precursor should be in chests of certain (hardest) dungeons. Remember Crystalline sword from gs1? THAT WAS A RARE drop that could take you over 200 UWsc runs and u still wouldn’t get it from end chest. That sword stayed high as **** priced for 8 YEARS! If precursors drop rare is extremely low, the only thing it’ll do to the game is people actually doing the freaking dungeons and not being abandoned like they’re right now.

they should delete all these garbage pre dungeon events. All they do is waste every1’s time or completely bug the dungeon.

All dungeons are dead but CoF and AC. These two are alive because they’re by far the easiest so when some1 wants to waste time (saying waste because you’re not rewarded for anything at all in a dungeon and can’t even make money) they do it in the easiest ones.

Anet, FIX SIG OF ILLUSION ALREADY or how many more centuries will it take? I find illusions fine as they’re but sig of illusion needs a fix FAST.

I will tell you why, because that is the design of the dungeon, if you dont it like then running dungeons is probably not for you, thats how all dungeons in MMO’s are designed. Have you never ran dungeons in any other MMO ever? Personally I like alot of the skins for tokens from dungeons, which makes them worth running, everthing else you get in them is gravy, and they even just added a karma reward as well.

I’m refering to skins trash mobs drop… All i do is dungeons and guess what? All the armors/weapons i wanted (from tokens) i already have for over a month. Now you know why i skip mobs? To beat the dungeon as fast as possible, get my useless reward cough tokens (since i have nothing to get with tokens anymore), purple numbers so called Karma that serves for nothing if you aren’t going for legendaries (and yes i have the 42k karma armor) and a pathetic amout of silver. And no, other than gw1 i haven’t played another mmo and don’t care about mmo’s… love gw style and all that korean grind crap can f off.

60 tokens per lodestone is too low but something like 120 (like runes) sounds perfect to me. 180 is too much for a lodestone but i’d take that over no reward as it is right now cuz most got their armors/weapons they wanted. What i really want is a real farming spot. Make the enemies challenging but with much higher drop rate than stupid sparks.

Mantra GS/Scepter+Pistol builds can pile on 5 interrupts in a row, 6 if you slip in a signet.

Trust me, mesmers are bathed in interrupts if you build around them

Illusionary Wave 1 once per 30sec. Scepter has none. Pistol once per 25sec. A mantra is a mantra lolz but lets say you do take it. You’ll have to spend 30 points into power and have a scepter for what? Not viable at all. You could take something like that in wvw when you’re drunk for fun but not when playing seriously.

Probably shorten the duration of Moa Morph, this would at least shut the vocal minority up. Otherwise, we’ve been nerfed quite alot the past several patches (the Phantasm Build), not really sure anything else needs nerfing.

If they lower the duration, I would like the coold down lowered also then.

I’ve stopped using Moa Morph in PvE. While it does help to render a Champion pretty useless for 10s, their HP doesn’t change, and in the end, no one is able to damage him better then before. Time Warp is better if your team is coordinated, or even lucky, in the case of random DE.

I find myself using Balthazars Hounds, as a Human solo lvling, then anything else, cus they just kitten for you.

There have already been numerous attacks and counter attacks for Moa Morph, with vids and stuff, but it is all PvP based. Moa doesn’t help so much in PvE, and its been proven to be survivable in PvP, so just let it go.

It doesn’t even morph champions for 10s but like 3sec… Skill is 100% useless in pve especially when you have Time Warp.

people having a hard time against a thief on a mes is a waste of hard time lolz. Run staff/GS (not the stupid sword/pistol 99.94843% of mesmers that pretend to be pros run), spec in toughness/precision/condition damage. Always have Deceptive Evasion cuz you will need clones spam. Confusion Cry is nice for wvw so you see a Thief, start your chain with GS. Mirror Blade, iBerserker,1 roll,cry of frustration,swap to staff if he’s on you then just Chaos Storm and Phase Retreat from it for chaos armor. Try to stun them with sig of Domination when they’re inside chaos storm. You can spam lots of clones so just shatter spam as soon as you have three to replace them. If its a thief who thinks he’s cool cuz he’s stealthing 100 times per minute, just lure him near a cliff and throw him off with illusionary wave for maximum lolz.

I can’t belive some of you saying mes is bad to solo… how exactly can a class be bad at soloing when your illusion distract enemies 80% of the time? Seriously just think of that for a sec… Having 3 illusions permanently is easy and you’ll have them at all time so all there is to do is auto attack and go afk lol. Mes was bad under level 30 but at 80 i don’t see any classes to solo better, any.

And you guys telling me you’ll take rupt Traits over something useful to rupt a spider hatchling? Makes absolutly no sense unless you’re new to mes and don’t know anything. How can Chaos Armor rupt with cripple/Confusion/blind is above me lolz.

First off, with what exactly to you rupt people with using Winds of Chaos lol? Chaos armor does not rupt. Chaos Storm does rupt but once per (if your have the Staff trait) 28sec… Another one would be Illusionary Wave which rupts nicely but takes 30sec to recharge. Are you telling me that some1 will bother making a rupt build with a maximum of two rupts per build that take a century to recharge? No. In gw1 you could have your whole bar full of rupts and lots of rupts were >12sec recharge time. Hell, some even 2-5sec and here we have Traits for rupting builds but rupts are extrmely limited and take 5 years to recharge. Talk about a waste.

I fund mesmers to be garbage under level 25-30. At level 80 i don’t think there’s a single class better to solo stuff or do dungeons.

The game is limited enough by the small amout of weapons each class can use nor can they swap 1-5skills and some Traits don’t make any sense at all. This is just mesmer ones and i’m sure every single class has at least 30% of their traits useless or completely broken (by broken i mean it shouldn’t be anywhere near Grandmaster tree).

For example, what exactly is the point of having Furious Interruption in Grandmaster tree? This thing isn’t even worth having in Master but its in Grandmaster lolz. you can’t rupt properly like you could in gw1 so all those Traits that works per rupt are extremely useless. You cannot make a rupt build like you could in gw1 so having crap like Furious Interruption, illusion of vulnerability, Halting Strike, Chaotic Interruption, Bountiful Interruption is just a waste of Traits for us to chose from an already very limited amout of them.

From all three paths combined there’s only two things hard. In path 1 the hacking spot is a mess (not hard cuz you’ll die but cuz its a MESS) and Alpha in path 3. There’s a way to make p3’s Alpha pretty easy tho but not many ppl know this. Melee range him! if your whole team melee range his kitten he’s np but spamming from distance he’s annying with his 2nd earth attack. Arah is MUCH MUCH harder than CoE.

I bet every1 saying “the reward is fine bla bla bla” killed a dragon under 5 times thinking his loot is yet to come since he have only done 5 runs… All three dragons combined i’ve probably killed them over 100 times and reward isn’t just pathetic but a fat JOKE. What i don’t understand is how exactly anet decided to put such a trashy reward? Were they even thinking or just like “okay, we have three elder dragons lets just spam blues in their chests, done” this can be applied to every singel dungeon as well.

Its a reskin, a lazy reskin. Has no effects whatsoever but its RED (omfg amazing!!!!!!) and cost 390 tokens for the GS is got.

I’ve done that multiple times but instead of wasting 390tokens x 4 i got the cheapest random weapons (210 tokens each) and mystic forge. Not worth doing but if anet doesn’t add tones of new items to obtain with tokens i say go for it. You’ll be making at least 1g from the mystic forge weapons and i got couple in the 6g range.
