why can’t they put all the crafting spaces and TP in HoM!????????????? I want to buy stuff of off TP for my crafting and not run across the whole city for it. Make HoM useful instead of a useless zone i visited months ago because there’s nothing to do in it.

In gw1 you did fowsc/uwsc. In gw2 they want you to farm gem store. They don’t want you to make money, that’s the secret. Everything is acc bound/souldbound on use so you don’t sell and make money. Drop sucks in general and there’s no end dungeon unique skins like Crystalline/Eternal swords were, which you could sell and make tones of money. Here this doesn’t exist… that’s why everyone is ******* about gw2’s drops and is unrewarding. The fact that i have nothing to grind for skin OR money doesn’t make me want to log in at all cuz what exactly could i be doing? Nothing to do.
So crystaline sword was less rare than precursors are now? Im not sure what are you talking about. Every high-end chest has chance for named exotic, alot of them for precursors so everything you do gives you chance to have big gain, just like back then you had SMALL chance to get crystaline sword.
You are talking about gw1, so tell me did obsidian armor costed less than legendary is costing now? You didnt have to grind UW / FoW for ages to collect all ectos and shards? Green weapons were dirt cheap so boss farming was pointless even without DR, which existed back then too.
In the end, if there is nothing for you to do in GW2 find new game to move on, after few months spread hate on forums of that new game then move on again, and again…
What are you talking about? by doing uwsc you can EASILY get all ectos needed in a week. every single other component (shards for example) could be traded for ectos or bought with money ectos made you…. Don’t even compare the joke grind legendaries are in gw2 to obi armor in gw1. The game does not have a dungeon that rewards you significantly like uw was. It was what? 4-8 ectos per run and sometimes more (tera way) and you’re telling me that getting 90-110e (or whatever it needed i don’t remember but i know for sure it wasn’t many cuz i crafter four obi armors) and you’re comparing this to legendary crap anet made here? lol you funny.

Those “some people” are like what? 5 out of 1 million? gg that is very nice percentage! 10g/h spamming AC is fun! so kitten fun killing same easy crap getting trash loot to merch without EVER expecting something awesome to drop. Grinding AC/CoF/Orr is a joke. You get garbage loot and you’re okay with it, well, gl to your 10g/h and have fun spamming same dungeon for the next years to come. funny because after their dungeons update that was supposed to make them fun and rewarding it changed nothing, NOTHING. Still as boring. and rewarding? What reward? Blues/green with no unique and rare skins. Not a single epic dungeon exclusive skin. They added fractal weps which felt kinda epic but aren’t even a drop… I want skins that have a very low drop rate but i can farm as much as i want and no DR bull****. Why is it so hard to understand lol gw1 had plenty and gw2 has none. Oh yeah, they don’t want any because then people would farm them and sell for money but anet wants us to waste $ on gems, gotcha.

i was thinking, why not add a dungeon that randomizes enemies (every single enemy of gw2 could be in it) and structure? I would LOVE to kill different combination of enemies and when the geometry of the dungeon changes all the time, the dungeon doesn’t get old in 2 week. But what i am expecting from the next patch is crappy fotm update with nothing new for those who have fractal weapons/rings and call it a day.

with this kind of rig the apps in the background won’t do anything. TC, what kind of fps drop and where? If its in LA then its normal because devs forgot to do something called optimization. If it goes slow motion your memory clock may be too high if its overclocked.

I did it yesterday for the first time in over a month. Got three items from its mobs and 4-5 blues 1 green from chest. This was the last time i ever do a dragon.

The day they add a pvp that is EXACTLY like fort aspenwood in gw1 is the day i will care about spvp. Also, i want to bring my pve gear not some ugly trash i’m given in spvp. In gw1’s FA you could make a pvp character that gets access to max gear/level or bring your pve character with all its gear. That is what i want, not ugly unrewarding crap spvp gives you. By playing FA you could sell zkeys/amber to make money, in spvp you can’t do ****. No thanks!

if i get banned in any VIDEO GAME for skipping something i wanted to skip im not even gonna be mad, just uninstall and forget the the even existed. its not a dev that will tell me how i kill enemies in a game i spent 60$ on. If they want us to kill every single mod just lock all exits (like in a beat’em up such a DMC series) and i will kill them but if drops stay worthless as they’re now i’m not even gonna try to do these/all dungeons. Am i here to spam same 5-10 skills for 5+ minutes per hard enough mob to get grey/white/blue/gree trash? no.

also have like 3.1k tokens and all they’re doing is waste space. anet will add new fractals but probably in months (4+) by then you’ll be with 15k+ tokens… i was thinking to blow them on shards even tho i don’t need them but i’m pretty sure that one day there will be more than legendary weapons that uses them.

The only place i ever ran glass are shard/bag farm in arah. Not worth running in even the easiest dungeons like ac/cof. let those five sigs warriors do their job, die and wp 24/7

Why in god’s name can’t they make these changes separate between PvE and PvP… I have literally never done PvP with my Mesmer or any other character, and I keep getting the same nerfs for no reason. I’m sorry, am I not supposed to be useful in PvE?
You’re very useful! you can use portal and mass invis your teamates when skipping mobs.

Got all 6 rings i wanted (2 rabid, 2 glass cannon ones, 2 for magic find), 4 fractal weps (still want the staff) and as of now i have 3.058 fractal relics. Do you think i cannot wait for this patch to come out? No. I don’t give a pew pew because even when its released what will be my goal? I have all i want/need in fotm and reaching level 50+ for absolutely ZERO reasons is a waste of time. The day they add precursors as chest drops at level 40+ or add new good looking armor/weapon skins is the day i will care about their patch.

I hope they wait another 3-6 months before adding more gear. Plus, I think Chris Whiteside said something to the effect of “No, we wont be adding new gear every 3 months or so”. This was in the AMA
I have 17 rings, ~380 fractals done, now bored as **** of them ALL.
Edit: if they don’t add a new dungeon, new gear or multiple new fractals (3+) i don’t know what exactly will be the reason for me to log in. I like to play challenging stuff and ultimately have a goal in those challenging areas and right now there’s NONE. Nothing to play in gw2 in only 3 months lol and that never happened to me in gw1 over 5 years… That what happens when your game has bs DR everything on everything, badly structured and unrewarding dungeons and the main goal they’re giving you is legendary weapons lol gw1 had none and i enjoyed farming/grinding rare skins to wear/sell way more than i will ever enjoy combining mats in mystic toilet ty.

this game isn’t not so well optimized but unoptimized at all. 2500k@4.3 with a gtx570@920 core and i get 15-22fps in wvw during large battles, sad part is that even setting the game to low its the same fps. instead of releasing crap like the winterday with nothing useful, fix your game and remove that joke DR

me too but i still log in every day to do nothing and stand in la afk… Nothing to farm, no dungeons worth playing after you’ve done them since first week the game came out… this game has no goal. They keep on adding stupid **** as recipes for mystic toilet instead of adding new weapon/armor skins that drop from certain dungeons only, not gg.

Fractals killed WvW on many servers because so many players feel compelled to grind for Ascended gear. Huge mistake. This game was the go to for PvP. Now it’s a joke.
Agreed. They need to either reduce the rewards in fractals or SIGNIFICANTLY boost rewards/incentives for doing PvP, exploring the world, and all the other PvE dungeons. Not to mention there will be more people to do dynamic events. That will make servers more lively and give people something to log in for. I miss farming around in zones for Festival items. Higher drop rates made it worthwhile since you constantly had glittering seasonal items to farm for and use toward your sweet tooth, drunkard, party animal etc, titles. I guess the ugly wool clothes work well, but somehow I feel like i don’t get very many drops. They seem so rare, so I ended up just using gold to get what I needed for skins off of the TP. Granted, there is a great variety of items to acquire, just the process of getting them isn’t as fun for some reason.
How can you even say OR “SIGNIFICANTLY boost rewards/incentives for doing PvP, exploring the world, and all the other PvE dungeons” nothing is rewarding in this game because they want you to buy gems and make stuff with mystic toilet. Its not a question of OR but completely increasing reward everywhere. Everywhere you go the reward feels like a joke… even fractals compared to something like UW in gw1 are laughable. So no, its not fractals that should be decreased to a joke level but upping everything and i mean everything.

yes i feel the same at least compared to gw1. the first month i was fine and was enjoying spamming dungeons like a mofo then when DR was introduced and i had most everything i wanted from those dungeons i pretty much lost interest completely. In gw1 i remember doing uw all day without being bored because 1. you had a chance of epic skins that you COULD sell (not like in gw2, can’t sell fractal/ascended rings for ****). 2. always a nice flow of ectos and most importantly it was fun and fun for months/years. No dungeons in gw2 are even 1/10 of uw/fow/the deep fun factor. If anet doesn’t release something new, without ******** DR and challenging in the next month, i have no idea what could i possible do other than stand in LA afk… I have all the ascended rings i needed, don’t care about legendaries what could i possibly do? I want rewarding/challenging dungeons and fractals reward is totally dry after you’ve got your rings/fractal weps. I want a goal, like i had in uw for example (rare minis/eternal sword/crystalline sword) and i was able to spam uw as much as I wanted, not freaking once a day BS.

absolutely and i made a thread about the stupid right click like over 2months ago. Also, can we plz have Shift freed of pinging locations/items/skills!? I use it to dodge and it pings my skills tones, its annoying as ****. This is a pc title, we should have full customization… But no1 at anet reads suggestions so that’s like talking to themselves.

Able to macro Shift without pinging all my skills while in combat is all i want. And why can’t we turn off Right Click to interact/change target? ****’s annoying as hell.

Run a confusion/shatter spec with GS/Staff, image/sig of dom/decoy. 0/20/25/0/25 and see sup. Spam phase retreat (5sec recharge) and they won’t hit you for **** with their sword. Maybe solo roaming mesmers i see in wvw all just suck or something but i never even seen one lowering my hp below 50% in a 1vs1.
