Imo its safer to hack then asking for a report function on this forum, it all gets ignored and removed while hackers are still around. Unless they start to hack gemstore, bet they will be banned in notime.
Any good deep progressive set works for me, also Psytrance. And ofcourse some metal/hiphop here and there.

Add some unique wvw things on the gemstore, like siege skins or the duel tokens mentioned above etc.
You will make profit out of WvW then but yeah if nothing is added to WvW you can say its not profitable /doh
Thief should get revealed taking damage and also be able to detect him/her when being to close, that way WoW rogues worked and i thought they could abuse stealth, till i joined WvW, its ridicilous how spam stealth works and no i dont blame the players, but the game mechanics, far out the most horrible design i ever seen and hopefully no other dev team will pick this idea up and implement in their game.
If the hackers take down the gem store, then it’ll be fixed.

Unsure if this is an old or new bug as search on this forum is still broken, but i totally lost the ability to mouse click anything, from enemies too friendly npcs / and wvw gates/walls. A full relog “solved” this but itsa bit annoying when it happens.

The idea that the populace would just abandon LA is preposterous and unbelievable IMO. Having a long term rebuilding process in place, with certain areas being focused on to be returned to usefulness, although preferably not to an identical state as before, would make sense and be interesting to observe along the way.
It’s not like the terrain of LA is uninhabitable, it’s just a mess. So, perhaps a rebuilding of key areas, and (at least for the foreseeable future) a wave of the hand to other areas leaving them to become wilderness, complete with mobs and such, would be an interesting approach.

It still motivates players to move over to the more stacked servers right now, simply because they don’t want to get the weapon after the 3rd tournament, but want it now.

Nice idea but i’d say a big no to it as mesmers can climb in to easily and portal ppl in, or imagine that thief climbing in contesting keeps from inside/ kill workers to stall upgrades etc.

Anet let this game mode bleed to death simply cause it doesnt generate $$ like LS and PvE does, its sad but a true story. This WvW mode has so so much potential but Anet doesnt seem to care.
Yep you’re right, its the build and playstyle from some people giving the class a bad reputation, if well build and knowledge you can be a threat. Though it still remains the underdog class with some internal problems like pet AI and traits.

hm you have access to infinite dodges then? 1-2 of em is np, but 4-5+ is and no dimishing returns on cc is something this game could use so people can spam their cc mindlessly whenever they want, but able to penalize themself as they see skill going on cooldown, but no or less effect.
@ KarlDavius, not all worlds have 20 people in each keep waiting for a possible incoming so they can wipe em, nor they have 5 superior acs on all gates manned when there are incoming, so a treb behind gate can buy some time for reinforcements to get in.
If you take out that last bit of defense, broken mechanic or not, there is not really any incentive to defend anymore since cannons and oil, well ya know with aoe spam, are useless. But if they really going to change it so trebs cant hit through gates anymore, then i propose gates will get at least 50% more HP as all siege has been buffed with mastery lines and structures are still same HP from release

We all bought the same game and since this is 24/7, all people are allowed to play whenever they want, yes even in YOUR off peak hours since it could be ANOTHER ones prime time. If you are really concerned about the PPT, join a server that cares about it, if not, just play for the fun on your online times.
Countless of threads been around regarding this issue already and yet nothing has happened, so best dont put to much effort in it since it seems useless.
This would definitly kill my time i enjoy in WvW as i really dont like EB, always lag around and hardly space around to roam around solo which i do on borderlands.
Just drop the PPT attitude and enjoy your time being online, get kills/caps etc.

Stupid idea to do this, i love to defend and a treb behind gate often stalls big zergs and if thats going to be removed, what else can we do to even counter rams. Cannons? Nope cant even use em properly if group decide to aoe spam.
Since they made that ram mastery so powerfull we. defenders, feeling forced to put up trebs since itrs the only method to do something against it, all siege got offensive traitlines now while gates and walls are in the same state as launch.
Like Reverence stated above me, there are certain spots to put down rams where people wont be pushed off by the treb.
if you want to have little to no trouble finding fight (and still be able to win them) play ranger.
I main ranger, i have no problem finding a fight if i want one, the only people the run away from a ranger are the people that will run from anyone.
things that you will have to get used to
– copping alot of flac for being a ranger
– Raging opponents when you beat them (no one like losing to a ranger)
– being targeted, if you are in a small group fight you will be targeted first
– people will automatically assume that you are bad
+1 to this, esp last point. Killed so many people thinking oooo ranger 100% guaranteed kill, then they will eat dirt and start to rage OMG LOST TO A RANGER!

Haha yea, karma trains can be soooooo tunnelvisioned. Heck ive seen 80+ blobs running up a ramp to a tower lord, leaving ALL siege ON it intact

I have 10k achievement points and I still can’t get an actual useful strategy for pets, specially that bear, only one who tried to do something is that “Offair” dude but I believe he’s trolling since most of his replies have been really negative on the thread.
Do we unlock some sort of advantage by having those points? Why is that a requirement?
Well at least the devs have now seen the post and hopefully in the future balance patch this pet madness will end.
Im not negative, neither im trolling, However, i think people whining about pets being overpowered are the ones that trolling , since its a broken AI. And like Allie said, go to rangers cdi and say they are overpowered, but dont be surprised if the whole ranger community laughs right in your face

That’s right! Everyone knows achievement points only come from experiences in WvW!
Which brings me to another point, it’s still not fair that rangers get achievement points for things they do and the things their pets do, giving them twice as much effective achievement points as everyone else. ArenaNet, when are you going to fix this? Am tired of SEEING the achievement leader boards populated by rangers.

Fixing is an unkown word in Anets WvW dev team dictionary, should know that by now. It’s really pathetic of a Game Developer to “create” a game mode like this and let it bleed to death and not doing anything. If i ever get bored with this game and quit, ill ensure you i never ever going to play a game of Anet again simply cause of lack of bug fixing / attention at all to a game mode that has so much potential and nothing happens.
I tried. My pewpew thief didn’t pewpew as far as the ranger pewpew and i don’t have OP pet which forced me to stealth and then they made the pet FIND ME! like srsly, it found me while stealthed! Talk about OP being able to nullify one trick i have to stay alive as thief.
Then I dieded.
Sneak up to the back of ranger and backstab or whatever they do, works most times but yea if you going to try and use range weapon vs a longbow ranger you will take massive damage – cant blame the ranger or the pet but only your self for not knowing how to handle it, pretty much a learn2play situation, rather then saying pets are OP

Been a while ago, but so funny i remember it as if it was yesterday.
Ive just capped Lowlands camp and saw 3 thieves running into me, the moment they went stealth i dodged 2 times in front of supervisor, just to see 3 downed bodies in front of it ( this was before they nerfed the supervisors damage ). Got to love being a ranger and watch greedy thieves die like that.
It’s not to bad, Ive leveled 2 toons through WvW, first i lvld to 30 in pve to get access to all my utilities and elite, then i bought supportive skills for them and used em in groups. Just stay away from danger and try to support your teammates and dont try to be a hero, upscaled dmg sucks vs lvl 80s and people will consider you as a rallybot if you do so and die.

Implement a system like on craft professions, toss XX amount of mats in and make XX amount of the siege.
Clicking in this game is excessive and outrageous, this siege crafting/ double click all bags/MF essences/Karma jugs etc
Would be a huge improvement to give the players shinies like craft/open/consume all functions on this kind of stuff rather then ouchies spamming our mouse like this, its pretty much standard in other MMO’s , why not in guildwars?

Why run a thief? I have no idea, ive encountered them, saw how broken stealth is / can be and not going to roll one myself cause of that.

No one runs from a ranger. They all want to get the easy kill, which is fun when kill them.
Exactly, rangers dont have to search for fights, but the fights are searching for rangers!
1) They can’t redirect it to your bag, I get so much loot I would get encumbered in battle and die because I am super slow.
2) What are you talking about, I get tons and tons of bags after a good fight.
3) The autoloot works fine, I sometimes press it when fighting and when we have to retreat and I look back and pretty much never see bags left behind.
4) And again, last night I had to salvage my inventory 2 times during the same fight because it was full. Got 78 kills there. And I have a maxed out 160/160 inventory with about 40-45 free spots in it.Lootbag drop rate is fine imo and the autoloot option is great, it even picks up bags that are floating in the air.

I get tons of loots on my bearbow ranger just by pressing my auto loot every 10sec ish in a fight, i hardly miss out anything, unless i find myself in a stupid position and die, but thats another story, and beside that, play for the fights, not the rewards, they are poor vs pve anyway.
Tired of AC’s? hell no, counter siege it! meteor shower it! pull people off acs!

Pretty sure I read in some note somewhere with I cant find that they fixed so you can not teleport from map x to map y keep. And if they fixed it without planning to fix it, leave it like this. Much better that you cant move a 100man blob from defending Hills blue map to Red map Bay then Green map Garry directly without having to use citadel Waypoint on every map.
No its a bug, doesnt happen always for everybody but its like this since EOTM launch and im pretty sure i havent read anything in patch notes they changed this a bit, i called in few times for help and its NP for them to port inside, unlike a few times where people end up at citadel using garri WP, whether contested, or not
It happens since EOTM launch, not always but yea its annoying and deserves a fix – probably in november 2015
AP doesnt mean a kitten thing and also , AP grinds in this game is one of the most boring /easiest ones i ever seen, if people really require 5k AP i laugh at them, as if it makes u better (not)
Kinda reminds me on WoW with those kitten using gearscore meters to pug, i usually lied about mine and saw them dying on very stupid ways ( kitten i have so high gearscore, but it didnt made me move out of kitten )
