I use a Sword/Warhorn on my Warrior and I just stack Power/Precision; the Bleed is a nice bonus, but I wouldn’t never focus on gear with Condition Damage. There are just far too many downsides to Condition Damage for me to even consider it over raw unadulterated damage.
Do you even lift, bro?
Tacked on panties that you can not dye suck.
End of story.
If only you could dye them to fit the rest of your colour choices it wouldn’t look too bad. Right now they stick out as an obvious politically-correct eye-sore.

Pretty overpowered there, Daecollo :P
I sure would like that 25 Trait though…

Try setting your Mixing Buffer Size to Most Stable in the sound options until they hopefully fix this bug.
I’ve played with the sound sliders ‘til the cows got home and nothin’…
Do you even lift, bro?
No, I don’t mean “Woohoo!”, I mean this annoying bug:
I only get it when WvWing. Highly annoying!
Do you even lift, bro?
There is only one dye I need for my weapons – the blood of my enemies!
Do you even lift, bro?
That sounds more like a Lion’s Arch establishment, ironically.
Do you even lift, bro?
Actually, a single Banner with the Trait only gives you a couple of seconds where it is unavailable.

So nobody has too many problems with thieves here?
Mesmers wouldnt trouble me tbh, i have one and can spot the real one a mile off. My guardian struggles vs them because he has no mobility and low dps.
Only when they glitch to have perma-Stealth, but even so I don’t find them all that dangerous.

Elementalists – because they are:
Tanky.
Healy.
Crowd Controly.
Cowardly.
If you see a D/D Elementalist, don’t even bother attacking. You won’t win.
Nerf the sustain by half and it wouldn’t be so imbalanced.
Permanent chill, godly mobility, and sustain.
Wariors have triple the HP, double the armor and double the attack power too.
Just take a rifle and kill ‘m with y’r 1200 range, D/D have very low range.
All three which are essentially useless against an D/D Elementalist.
Triple the Health? Elementalists have more “effective Health” due to all their healing, invulnerability and escape abilities.
Double the Armour? One word: Protection. 33% raw damage reduction beats our Heavy Armour hands down.
Double the Attack Power? Depends on build. Also, most of it is melee.
However the one point that nulifies it all for sure is the Elementalists ability to just simply run away. Ride The Lightning, go! Teleport, go! Mist/Vapour Form, go! If an Elemetalist doesn’t want to fight you, he/she won’t fight you. If they do want to fight you, however, you’re not getting away as a Warrior.
Do you even lift, bro?
Just look for the one not jumping or rolling.
Of course, really good Mesmers won’t give you those tells but most will.
Do you even lift, bro?
Then you’d get another 20% with Fury, for 51%.
I’d get the Crit Damage one. But as I said, it doesn’t really matter. You’ll replace it soon enough.
Do you even lift, bro?
Yeah, the basic Sword auto-attack animation is rather… weak.
Not nearly as awesome as Axe.
Do you even lift, bro?
It doesn’t really matter much pre-level 80, to be honest.
What’s your base Critical Hit Chance at?
Do you even lift, bro?
I’d pay for it not to happen.
Do you even lift, bro?
I agree, especially as the fangs tend to clip with helmets a lot.

The way he worded it, he compared them to the ditsy naiveté of the Sylvari, which is blatantly wrong.

I wasn’t aware the game was completely free now. When can we expect the refund on our initial purchase of the game?

It is not Jormag…
Anyhow, does the sound go “woo… woo…woo…” and only in the left speaker?
Do you even lift, bro?
The only one I absolutely loathe is the 25 one.
One stack of Might? Really?
a – It is too little considering the time spent resurrecting someone. 3+ stacks would not be imbalanced.
b – It is far to weak for a 25 points Trait.
I concur.
Tactics is one of my favorite skill trees and while I don’t have any problems with the first two minor traits, the last one really is underwhelming.
I wouldn´t even want it to be the first minor trait of anything, it´s just
a bad trait.I could imagine it to grant (stacks of ) might for every second of revival,
like a get-up-and-fight-harder-trait. That would be warrior like in my
oppinion, but maybe a litte over the top.
One stack per second might be too much Might in the end, but other than that I like the idea. A lot.
Do you even lift, bro?
I’d say Sword is direct damage with a nice side-serving of Bleed.
Compare it to Scepter for Necromancers – that’s a weapon that does 0 real damage and all about Conditions. Sword does do nice direct damage in addition to the Bleed. Not as much as Axe, obviously, but enough so for it to not only be called a Condition weapon.

Sorry, but the next Profession must be a Soldier.
Please understand the difference between need and want.
What you want isn’t what everyone needs and what Anet wants isn’t going to be what everyone wants.
I’m pretty sure they’ve hinted on multiple occasions that the next planned Profession will be a Heavy Armour one.
Do you even lift, bro?
What I don’t get:
It isn’t as if they (ANet) couldn’t have used a “The enemy of my enemy is my friend” routine. Let’s be honest here, most of the “evil” factions would bleeding WELL have a reason to keep our boy Zhaitan slapped down.
Megalomania is common amongst evil-doers. The Sons of Svanir can rest easy because of their belief that Jormag could kick Zhaitan’s buttocks, and the Flame Legion probably believes themselves capable of defeating Zhaitan and Jormag.

Just because I don’t like your idea I am automatically a troll?
Makes sense.
Do you even lift, bro?
Gigantic Lupicus is exactly the right kind of challenging.
If you don’t know what you’re doing he will wipe the floor with your party, and even if you know what you’re doing he remains a tough, but not impossible, adversary.

The Commander icon means nothing more than that the person who has it had more Gold than common sense.
False. While I may not like to see it in PVE, there are some really good commanders out there who deserve to be recognized and followed, this is aided by the icon.
The keyword here being some. Far too many stupid people with it.

Aw… you mad cause I don’t liked your idea…
It is not a stupid self-made up rule.
It is pure unadulterated logic.
Deal with it.

You can’t have four Scholars and only two Soldiers…

Armour: Mind of Koda (Honour of The Waves Heavy Helmet)
Race: Applies to all races
Profession: Guardian and Warrior
There are two bugs with this helmet, which I suspect are linked.
1. There is a dye slot that does not affect the appearance whatsoever. I’ve dyed it brightly red/pink in these screenshots and as you can see, no part of the helmet uses this colour.
2. You can’t dye the pelt; the main colour you put on the helmet (in my case a blue Sincerity dye) affects the tint of the pelt.
So I suspect that the unusuable dye slot is supposed to let us dye the pelt, but it is bugged and draws colour from the wrong dye slot. Added a third screenshot or comparison with a much darker main dye.
As you can see the pelt turned nearly black!

Two wrongs don’t make a right.
A lot of Mystic Forge recipes needs to be fixed.

Agreed, the Minor Traits are horrible. But the tree in general, with both the Boon Duration bonus and some of the Traits, makes it my favourite Warrior tree.

Since they added that little bit of text to the chestpiece, one can only assume it is intentional and there to stay…

Excuse me? Norns are renowned adventurers and explorers.
Do you even lift, bro?
Would the Sons of Svanir ever assist the Norn in fighting the other races?
They wouldn’t really go offering their help, but if the Sons were threatened by common foe in this case I could see some sort of uneasy alliance happening. Though whether or not Jormag would let his Icebrood fight alongside them? I doubt it. You’d have to settle for the Sons who are still Norn through and through.
Do you even lift, bro?
On the other hand, the plot armour on them Mary Sues are miles thick… The Pale Tree is probably immune to any sort of damage, or whatever.
:(
Do you even lift, bro?
Plus the whole “fire and forget” concept of Banners.
In PvE you don’t really move around too much when you’re in the middle of an encounter. Putting it in the middle of the room will most often do it for the entire fight.
Do you even lift, bro?
I’ve been rooting around in the Guild Wars 2 .dat file recently. There’s a picture of Snaff’s model floating around, but it was sort of garbled. When I found his model earlier tonight… Well, I actually thought he was pretty handsome, in his own way.
Two T3 gloves/arm thingies at the same time?
Madness!
Do you even lift, bro?
The only race that could possibly match the Norns physical strength would be the Charr due to their immense size. Though, Norns look more muscular whereas Charr look more graceful and lithe… To say that a Norn is on average ten times as strong as your average human would definitely not be “propaganda”. Asura and Sylvari? Fuggedaboutit! No contest.
Norns are far stronger than the other races. They are not just “big humans”; they are giants. Aesgir Dragonrender knocked a tooth out of Jormag’s friggin’ skull with a normal blow for crying out loud.
Deal with it. Go Norn or go home!

Dungeons & Dragons =/= Guild Wars
They probably said it to avoid the sort okittenward questions that arises with a male norn/female human pairing. Sexual questions.

Let’s not forget how their Gods pretty much packed their bags and left. Gods which I might add have personally aided in their conquests and stuff, from what I understand.

Mancleaver sounds like a horrible, horrible homoerotic movie.
Do you even lift, bro?
Not happening. Devs said it, no crossbreeding. We can have all the fan-fiction, but it simply doesnt make sense and will never happen.
Norns and humans are 2 completely different species.
Bah…who cares what the Devs say. In my paid for MMO it works. Besides which, in a more practical sense, its impossible for humanoids sharing a common world to not see some sort of interbreeding by now (in game or in real life).
If neanderthal mated with humans, its far more likely Norns are compatible with humans. Devs not being geneticists and all.
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/insidenova/2010/05/did-neanderthals-mate-with-modern-humankittenml
Norns are actually not related to humans in any way. You have to think of them as mythological giants, really. Shape-shifting viking giants.
Do you even lift, bro?
There is nothing cowardly about it. As I explained, that’s most likely what you can expect when fighting the Norns as a whole, because they don’t have any sort of organized military. Each individual homestead/settlement would organize raids and stuff to ruin your day.
And how in the world to stationary turrets counter it?
Do you even lift, bro?
Can’t go wrong with old Norse names.
Do you even lift, bro?
A Norn could tear a golem apart with his bare hands. No, a Norn child could!
Do you even lift, bro?
Also, good luck winning any sort of decisive victory vs. the Norns.
You can’t just march onto Hoelbrak and kill everyone and call it a day; Hoelbrak is essentially nothing more than a very, very large homestead. There are countless homesteads and other Norn settlements out there. If you declare war on the Norn, prepare for a dirty guerrilla-type campaign to be waged against you.
Compare it to, let’s say, conquering the Black Citadel and executing the Tribunes or Divinity’s Reach and beheading Queen Jenna.
