Don’t look at me.
I’m as baffled as the next guy!
Do you even lift, bro?
That’s a well-known bug regarding any and all Transmuted Cultural sets, sadly…

Lets not ignore the elephant in the room any longer:
AoE isn’t the problem.
Elementalists are the problem.
Soloing parties full of people with their D/D bunker build.

I really hope you’re just mistaken. It would be really stupid if Anet PURPOSELY removed a skin colour option for the Asura.
No, I am not mistaken. The default NPC skin tone is inaccessible to player Asura.
Do you even lift, bro?
As long as they don’t use dual daggers, I am delighted.
Do you even lift, bro?
Then if you can manage to get to that node, props to you.
You deserve it!
Do you even lift, bro?
As long as you don’t stack Toughness on your Warrior/Guardian you can do alright. You just have to watch yourself because you have an easier time grabbing aggro than everyone else.
Do you even lift, bro?
Doesn’t Southsun automatically scale you to lvl80?
If they didn’t want lower levels accessing the nodes there, why would they do that?
Do you even lift, bro?
I love my Bolty
Bolt is one of the higher quality Legendaries though, so why shouldn’t you? :O
Do you even lift, bro?
Are you wearing CM armour?

Several factors.
Warriors/Guardians draw more aggro by default.
Toughness increases threat generation.
Melee weapons draw generate more threat than ranged.
Shield adds even more threat generation.

Elementalists definitely do not need more weapons. They’re so overpowered in d/d bunker spec as it is.
Engineers, on the other hand, needs a lot of love.
Do you even lift, bro?
I hope that Warrior/Guardian kits are cheaper in your scenario. Since, y’know, there isn’t many options to pick from for us…

Story Mode is definitely harder. If only because the Ascalonian Ghosts are way more difficult adversaries than the Gravelings.
Do you even lift, bro?
That would be a Guardian.
Unfortunately.
Do you even lift, bro?
Dunno about you guys, but I feel his targeting circle is far too small for a creature of his size. This makes it very hard to melee him because your character has to stand “inside” of him in order to reach.

Adrenal Health is not affected by Healing Power, and the Signet isn’t affected enough to make it worth it.
200 + (Healing Power * 0.033)
That’s a very poor scaling.

It is just like some hoods hiding Asura ears.
How does that even make sense? Do you chop off your horns/ears when putting the hood on, and paste them back on when you take it off?
Do you even lift, bro?
Has there ever been any official response to this question? Surely I can’t be the first to ask it…
Do you even lift, bro?
Apart from the huge “head”, yes. They got arms and legs that still look fleshy. As in they were encased in corrupted ice.
Do you even lift, bro?
That’s still one extra over all the other weapon types.
More variety.
More effects.
As I said, someone really, really enjoyed working on the Greatswords moreso than the rest.
Do you even lift, bro?
No I like the Warhorn too. But compare it’s effect to the freaking fireworks show that is Twilight/Sunrise?
As I said, it aint fair.
=/ This is off-topic. OP is talking about the quality of the legendaries, not the grind to get them.
Sorta relevant though.
The effort involved in getting the “crappy” Legendaries is very much the same as the one for the “good” ones.
It simply isn’t fair.
I am still going for the Warhorn though, but it will be bittersweet when I finally get it.
If you don’t like the crappy ones don’t go after the crappy ones -.- If you’re using the warhorn you’re what? A ranger, Necro, or Warrior. All of them have other legendary weapon options that are fitting: frostfang for Necro, Kudzu or Rogdort for Ranger, and Warriors have plenty of options because everything’s designed for them lol. But yeah crappy legendaries shouldn’t require the same grind: if the chicken harp played music and left a trail of music notes then it’d be great. The scepter should leave like cloud footprints and a trail of clouds when swung. I think the rest are pretty cool though I understand that not everyone loves rainbows and unicorns
You gotta be trolling here. Demanding that all Legendaries be equally nice is of course outrageous and stupid? I’m a Warrior, but I don’t WANT to use a Greatsword. Should I be punished with a crappier Legendary? No, my other options should be just as sweet. Also, whats up with THREE Legendary Greatswords? Not only are they the best designed ones, but there’s different ones to choose from! Someone really favoured working on the Greatswords over the other weapons…

As mentioned, you can see a spinal cord in them. You can also glimpse a norn skull in them.
Do you even lift, bro?
Unless you’re one of those super hardcore fellas that can SOLO dungeons, then yeah. At least four people is advisable.
Do you even lift, bro?
Doing Ascalonian Catacombs for some fancy Exotic gear (via Tokens) never hurts. You might even get lucky and find some Rares to sell.
Do you even lift, bro?
I just wish the animation was shorter.
2 seconds Knockdown sounds decent on paper, but it locks you into the animation for so long that you can barely take advantage of it. Especially bad considering how Merciless Hammer works.
Do you even lift, bro?
It doesn’t look invasive either.
Jormag’s corruption covers their bodies in corrupted ice. Starting with an arm there or a leg there as with the still-recognizable Sons of Svanir, and ends with a full transformation into “true” Icebrood. If you look at the back of an Icebrood Colossus you can actually spot a human (well, norn) spinal cord. Creepy.

This is Guild Wars 2, not the Sims 3. Modern clothes like that would look too out of place.
There are Town Clothes for those who like to play dress-up.

I was going for the “skull” look without getting too necromancer-ish. Ended up with a skull trophy collecting warrior
SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!

There is no proof that it is a disease at all.
It looks nothing like it in Jormag’s case.

Two-Handed Axes
How can you not have those? Its a Role-playing Game faux pas! Even the Warrior on the official class preview uses one!

One of the best skills for WvW when using Signet Mastery and boon duration runes!
Don’t listen to these trolls. ~13 seconds stability, every 48 seconds is bad?? mmkay.
It’s better than balanced stance imo (Plenty of stun removal when running shouts). Sure the +90 toughness is not that great, but that’s not the point of taking this skill!Oh, it could be less nice when you run no boon removal, signet trait and no other stun breakers ;P
Balanced Stance says hello. More reliable Stabilty AND a Stun Breaker.
So.
Yeah.
Do you even lift, bro?
AoE stands for Area of Effect.
Cleave is a form of Area of Effect.
So if you wanna get technical, 99% of all our weapon abilities are AoEs. Only a few such as Savage Leap on the Sword are strictly single target.
Which is why, as a Warrior, this piece of news worries me greatly.

… equal in terms of quality? Some of them are just horrible when compared to the “top dogs” Twilight and Sunrise. You get it all with those; aura around your character, footsteps and new skill projectiles – and more!
What do you get if you make the Warhorn? The Focus? The Pistol? Nothing remarkable. And don’t get me started on the Mace!
Most of the Legendaries need to be done over, and done right.
Do you even lift, bro?
care to explain the problem?
EDIT: What the guy above me said.

In short, there is no saving grace for this poorly designed Signet.
Do you even lift, bro?
How is Hundred Blades overpowered? It is a one-trick pony that works once in a blue moon.
Do you even lift, bro?
Same problem with Norns really. They seem to be running in slow-mo at times.
Do you even lift, bro?
It is horrible. Waste of a valuable Utility slot. I wish it was just a clone of the Guardian version which reduces all damage taken by a flat 10%. That’s awesome.
Signet of Stamina is way better for survivability. Good passive and good active component to that Signet.
Do you even lift, bro?
Technically, melee weapon swings are either Point Blank AoE (Hammer auto-attack finisher) or Cone AoE (Greatsword auto-attack).

This raises a whole bunch of creepy questions of just how exactly the Pale Tree could know how human genitals would look like…

The saddest part about Asura customization is that player characters can not get the default Asura skin tone that almost all NPCs (including Zojja) uses.
Do you even lift, bro?
Wrong. The Thief is a class of many skills, which like the Elementalists, are mostly OP in PvP.
:D
Do you even lift, bro?
We’re gonna get boned, fellow Warriors. We can’t swing a single of our weapons without hitting multiple enemies at once.
Do you even lift, bro?
As a Warrior, this has me greatly worried.
EVERY attack we have is an AoE attack, pretty much.
Does that mean we get to see a flat reduction on ALL our damage?
Do you even lift, bro?
I really don’t like my character running around in a huge set of plate armor. I would like to find an armor that looks more like the medium armors, like the swindler’s armor.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/File:Norn_Female_Swindler_Armor_Medium.png
Then you’re playing the wrong class, I’m afraid. Heavy’s gonna be heavy.
Do you even lift, bro?
Pretty much every T3 Cultural Weapons are very, very underwhelming in comparison to Asura. Have you seen the Norn ones? Looks like they are just models that haven’t been given proper skins yet!
