This does not properly update the tooltips on the Stances. It does give you longer duration, but it doesn’t show up on the tooltip.
Balanced Stance, for example, has 12 seconds Stability instead of 10, but the tooltip still says 10 seconds.
Do you even lift, bro?
how come you dont want to stop the thief class using stealth near towers ?
If they are alive, I don’t see why not? I’m pretty sure their downed teleport thingy can’t go through the portals like Mist Form.
But I am not sure.
Do you even lift, bro?
Either remove it in WvW or give it to all classes to allow everyone a free getaway into a keep portal when fighting near keeps.
Thank you.
Do you even lift, bro?
The Fleshgazer in Forsaken Halls teleported my character into a wall and now I am stuck. There are no waypoints in this god kitten place so I have no idea how I am supposed to get unstuck! I don’t want to go to Lion’s Arch or something and lose all the progress I made in this dungeon!
EDIT: Nevermind, it booted me from the instance for some reason…

The most commonly missed locations for Shiverpeaks are:
1. Griffonrook Run in Lornar’s Pass
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Griffonrook_Run2. Lair of the Coil in Timberline Falls
Bottom right corner of the map.
I got both of those, yet I am still missing two.
Annoying.

… it is not Jormag.
Do you even lift, bro?
The biggest disappointment is the actual showdown with Zhaitan. You just stand at a cannon and press the 2 key to blast him for like five minutes straight.
As for the next Elder Dragon, I am hoping for Jormag and that they get the fight done right this time around.

If you can’t figure out how to profit on an Elite that grants stealth to any class’ toolbox… …I’m guesing you’ve never been to the rich Oricalcum node.
It’s just so highly situational. Most of the time it is not worth replacing your class Elite.
Do you even lift, bro?
Well you can’t fault me for doing so when you make the most basic argument the religious use against nudity.
Do you even lift, bro?
Tell him to get Knight’s armour/weapons which have Power/Toughness/Precision instead. Vitality doesn’t do as much for Warriors as for other classes due to our high Health by default. Precision on the other hand does quite a lot to bump up the damage and functionality of the Warrior (we have a lot of On-crit Traits and stuff).
Do you even lift, bro?
Why do you automatically connect the dots between sex and nudity? You can very well have nudity without sex.
Don’t let the Pope guilt-trip you, bro/sista.

I know very well what The Moot does.
Makes me loathe it even more.
Do you even lift, bro?
Part of me want this, because I know the Norn ones would be awesome. But then I am reminded in the gap in quality and unfairness in the existing Legendaries (Greatswords>The rest) and then I don’t really want it.
It would suck if one race got stuck with the “joke” Legendaries á la the discoball mace or bubblegum pistol while the rest got the Twilights.

The Healing increase you get for Vigorous Shouts with Healing Power is abysmal. I have 0 Healing Power and heal for over 1.000 per Shout. Considering their relatively short cooldown, that is plenty.
Do you even lift, bro?
Nudity is bad and you should feel bad.
Nudity is fine in the confines of your own home, but it certainly isn’t needed in any way, shape, or form in an MMORPG.
If you want nudity in your game, here’s some choices for you :
1)Age of Conan
2) Therapy
I’d say you’re the one needing therapy, considering how blatantly insecure and repressed you are in your own biological urges.
Do you even lift, bro?
Mix of Norn Cultural pieces without any shoulders or helmet shown. I just don’t “feel” the heavily armoured look when it comes to Norn Warriors. Also included is a battle shot of me obliterating the testicles of the poor Jotun that decided to occupy my screenshot spot.
Do you even lift, bro?
This one is tricky enough to pull of that you never ever have to worry about accidentally performing it in battle, trust me.

Doing all melee won’t work so well. More worms will spawn and be able to range ya while you’re hitting up another worm.
It works a helluva lot better than trying to range them, that’s for sure! Haha.
Do you even lift, bro?
I think those adds were supposed to be there from the start. The fact that you could interrupt his conversation and thus stop the adds from spawning was just some bug, or at least it sure does feel a bug.
I dunno about that. If that is the case, they didn’t fix it right: the adds tend to vanish mid-fight (just as you are about to kill them it feels like. grrr…) and reappear downstairs with full Health again. They need to fix their behavior and perhaps make them Veterans rather than Elites.
As for the other content, I hardly noticed the change. I saw the vets get amped to elites, but that didn’t make it any different, imo.
Time my friend. Time. The difficulty remains the same, but it just takes freaking forever to clear out all those Elites! It is like those two twin bosses (or should I say time-wasters?) on Huntsman’s path just before the “real” middle boss with the two quaggans.
When was that change? I saw those barracuda like, weeks ago already. Also, just ignore them. The boss respawns them often anyway.
I dunno when exactly, but I did HoTW waaaaay back in ancient times (HoTW was the first armour set I got after I had just hit lvl 80 with my main) and then he did not have these infinite Barracudas; only Jellyfishes.
Ignoring the Barracudas is a mistake due to their rather silly damage output, also.

Trahearne is a Necromancer who gets to wield a Greatsword that has both Mesmer and Guardian attack(s) on it.
Do you even lift, bro?
I have wondered about this, people seem to be doing this in WvW and basically downing anyone within range. But others here are saying it can’t be used to attack so how are they doing this in WvW and downing everyone within range?
Most likely you (or those who told you so) are lying.
It does not do damage.
Here I am doing the endless Whirlwind Attack, yet no damage numbers are popping up. The only reason why the Mosquito is damaged is because my little Thief helper shot it a few times to lure it within range. Further more, if you take any damage at all it snaps your character out of it.
It is an animation bug only.
EDIT: added a few screenshots of me spinning up against a non-aggressive Moa. As you can see, it does not get hurt either because it is just standing there and not aggroing me.

But Norn definitely do NOT accept the idea of Jormag being a Spirit of the Wild or even anything close. To them he is the destroyer, the icy death and a great enemy.
Evidence…?
The game story pretty much says otherwise.
Do you even lift, bro?
I think the changes are good.
You make such an elaborate and well thought-out argument there.
Do you even lift, bro?
Another thing: the Jellyfish just before Sorge were upgraded from Veterans to Elites. This gave them a truckload more Health, yet they remain as numerous as when they were Veterans.
It just takes forever cutting your way through them now. When you upgraded them to Elites, you should’ve reduced their numbers accordingly.

I wanted to exchange her with Trahearne at the very last second. Just toss him in there, lock the gate and grab Sieran around the waist and leg it.
Do you even lift, bro?
My take on it:
They hold a grudge against Jormag because he chased them away from their native lands long ago and for the corruption he brings. However, they don’t seem to actually believe Jormag to be evil but rather a force of destruction and corruption which simply acts according to it’s own nature. They wouldn’t accept the Sons’ notion of him being a Spirit of the Wild otherwise. Kinda like how a wolf isn’t really evil when he kills and devours a baby deer or something equally cute and cuddly. As such they don’t think the Sons are evil for venerating Jormag as Dragon.

I’ve always interpreted it as the Norn woman wanting to rush off to battle the dragon(s) that are attacking the village (or something) and the Kodan tries to hold her back because he doesn’t want her to do something stupid and get killed by laying his hand on her shoulder.
Do you even lift, bro?
That’s very odd. Sometimes I get the odd bug where the animation doesn’t end (my character slides across the ground on his back when I move!) but I’ve never encountered anything like that.
Do you even lift, bro?
Aldus Stormbringer is apparently supposed to have an army of infinite Elite adds he summons that appear and disappear at random as the fight progresses.
Sorge the Zealot now summons Barracudas in addition to his suicide Jellyfish. These Barracudas, while low on Health, do 3000+ damage per auto-attack on a Warrior with Knight’s Weapon and Armour. They spam a rapid-fire series of three bites, each doing 900-1200 damage if they Crit – and they seem to have a very high crit chance.
All I want to know… where is the reduction in their insane Health pools to compensate for these rather significant buffs? HoTW was always annoying because it takes forever to kill the bosses but the bosses were relatively easy to compensate. Now they are much harder and still retain their stupid HoTW trade mark; millions of Health.
Do you even lift, bro?
You mean the “downed” animation is stuck, but otherwise you can move and act as normal?
Do you even lift, bro?
Evil is also a highly subjective term in Norn culture. Even the Sons of Svanir aren’t considered truly evil.
Do you even lift, bro?
I know what it is. I posted it for the devs, they will decide what to do about it
You called it an exploit.
You know nothing about it, obviously.
Do you even lift, bro?
The Vines also have minimum range on the spit attack.
This makes the encounter is really easy for melee characters.
As a result, ranged classes should move into melee range as well.
Do you even lift, bro?
How is it an exploit? It is just fun and harmless thing to do.
Do you even lift, bro?
To be fair though, doesn’t she kill children to selfishly increase her own power? Not because Raven wills it?
Do you even lift, bro?
More epic than pressing 2 over and over in any case.

That’s the beauty of AC: it is a low level dungeon, easily doable at lvl80 with some practice. Yet it still gives you lvl 80 rewards for the tokens.
Great for when you’ve just hit 80 for the first time.

You should go check all the dungeon vendors out. They’re all there in Fort Mariner, bunched together. Preview and drool over the armour sets you’ll eventually want
Do you even lift, bro?
But wont my gear be a problem for doing lvl 80 runs in AC? I know I will scale back to level 40, but are the drops in there good enough so after a few runs I will have some upgrades to my mostly blue/green armor?
You get the tokens, Ascalonian Tears, which you exchange at Fort Mariner in Lion’s Arch for the gear. You don’t use the dropped items, that’s mostly just gold in item form (vendor trash).
Also, drops scale with your level; you will find lvl 80 gear in AC if you run it at lvl 80. Especially in the chests.
Do you even lift, bro?
I guess “hugging” was overstating it, lol.
Do you even lift, bro?
That is not weird.
It is aaaaaaawdorable.
“Coo! Qwaggan is piwate!”
Do you even lift, bro?
Only if you can afford it. As I mentioned, AC armour and weapons are a good first step. The weapons are some of the cooler weapons in the game, to boot.
Do you even lift, bro?
Kodans seem rather chummy with Eir.
There’s one loading screen for one Norn area where they’re hugging or something.
Do you even lift, bro?
The fact that characters are so strictly gendered in MMOs is baffling to me, and I wish we had the option to choose to wear any version of a skin on our characters, to use the animations of the opposite gender, to have most hairstyles available to both males and females, ect.
O_O
Jesus H Christ on a pogostick, dude…
Is it that weird?
A male Norn.
In drag.
Using female Norn animations.
“Weird” wouldn’t even begin to describe it.
Do you even lift, bro?
They are mostly used for appearance, not their stats. At lvl 80 you really want to move on up from Rare quality(yellow) to Exotic quality(orange) in gear.
A good place to start when you’ve just hit lvl 80 for the first time is to farm Ascalonian Catacombs for a set of armour and a weapon or two.
Do you even lift, bro?
The Blossom are both a blessing and a curse. If you’re downed you can rally by simply using your 1 ability on one of them; they get annihilated in just one hit and you’re back on your feet again.
Do you even lift, bro?
This hammer appears to be held incorrectly. Shouldn’t the blunt end be the one to smash with, not the spiked end?
