All I wanna know is this:
Who decided that Snow Leopard was the 30pt Elite Skill?!?!
My spirit animal is BEAR, kitten
The fact that Snow Leopard has Stealth is what bumped it up to 30pts. It has the advantage of making the Snow Leopard form actually useful. Highly situational mind you, but useful.

However, in a game where a boss/monster could just as easily chase after a light armor profession instead of a heavy armor professions, does it still apply to PvE?
Actually, Heavy armour classes generate more aggro by default.
Perhaps their threat generation should be increased even further? Like I said above, the odd time I do go pure dps, I am always stealing the boss/monsters’ attention.
I did not know they had higher innate threat generation though. Thanks for your input.
There’s actually an intricate aggro system in the game. For example, using melee weapons generate more aggro and a Shield on top of that generates even more. Toughness is also a huge factor; the more you have, the more aggro you generate.
However, the problem is that a lot mobs have their own aggro rules; some go for the squishiest target possible (Riflemen in CM explore, for example).

Cool starry brah.

It has gotten a lot better.
Just a few months back you had botters quite literally covering the entire zone of Frostgorge sound!

Genetic memory, perhaps?

It is also the opinion of many players that Thieves and Elementalists are the two most overplayed and overpowered professions in the game. One is Medium armour, the other is Light.
So.
Yeah.

To add the path 2 and 3 boss are underwater with the kitten high hp and weak ranged underwater weapon they take forever to kill.
To be fair they are also very, very easy.
Plunderer has his one-shot charge thingy, but other than that he sucks.
Zealot has very weak attacks on his own, and his suicide jellyfish are a stupid mechanic – because they die when they attack, you get insta-rallied if they bring you down!
Do you even lift, bro?
That is the case for any mob. If you jump up to a ledge or rock they can’t climb they will just forget about you.
Until they chuck an anchor at you and pull you down.

Just go all Star Trek on it, but remember that Asura technology is based on magic, so spiff it up with magic-sounding words.

They’re the new kids on the block for this game.
Of course Anet wants to show them off at every opportunity. Mary Sues and Deus Ex Machina up the wazoo.
It got stale quickly…
Personally I think that for the next Elder Dragon coming up, all the other races should team up and plantnap all the Sylvari and send them off to face said Elder Dragon and it’s minions. Either they kill it, or it cleanses Tyria of the green menace – either way the other races win!

If getting eaten by an undead dragon is what happens when you grow up, I’ma stay a child forever!

The story doesn’t make any assumptions about race in the later half.
Yes. Yes it does. There was some Syvlari chicks that I had never met because they are in the Sylvari storyline, yet my Norn acted all chummy with them as if he had known them forever. Then you have Treehearne who just appears from out of nowhere and takes over the entire storyline, unless you play a Sylvari who have met him well in advance.
Its bogus.

Jormag does corrupt forcibly. Sons of Svanir shamans can perform rituals which can forcibly turn someone into Icebrood, and there are icy prisons where prisoners are also turned into Icebrood against their will, as we can see in Frostgorge Sound.
There is no evidence that Jormag does this.
Jormag is the power behind the Sons of Svanir and the singular source of the Icebrood corruption. Captives go in the ice cells. Icebrood comes out. No, Jormag doesn’t come personally to turn them, but by that logic, there is also no evidence that Zhaitan can raise and corrupt the undead – have you ever seen him personally do so?
Jormag corrupts only with promises of power. That his followers then go on and abuse others doesn’t change that fact.

Charcoal is a respectable substitute to black as well, albeit a bit on the brownish side.

It could be for the one standing in Rytlock’s office.
I checked. Generic Lionguard Spear skin, sadly.

Abyss and some form of red dye would be my guess.

Stand around in Lion’s Arch chatting with friends.
I have full Exotics and 100% Map Completion.
I hate Fractals and lord knows I am not going to tango with the random number generator and go for a Legendary.

The focus of the story towards mid-end of the Personal Story is definitely biased towards Sylvari character.
There’s not only Trahearne, but lots of other Sylvari characters that all characters act as if they have met, but only Sylvari characters have. So the story assumes that you’re playing as a Sylvari.
It is really bullkitten.
Do you even lift, bro?
Because they are corrupted. I guess Corrupted Lodestones are Glacial Lodestones… only corrupted!
Do you even lift, bro?
Pretty sure that’s supposed to be a Spear that got mixed up somehow…
EDIT: Perhaps it is for NPCs? They might have “hidden” types of weapons like this. Anyone seen a NPC with that weapon?

True that. The fight where you defend yourself against his flying champions were more hectic and epic than the actual fight against Zhaitan.

How did you kill them? We tried that, but either another one instantly spawned and took it’s place or it vanished into thin air, and the “spawned” again at full health down by the ice splotches.
These adds need to be fixed(the way they randomly appear and disappear) and made finite.
Do you even lift, bro?
I want a loincloth, kitten it!

Speaking of it, anyone found a reliable way to kill Aldus Stormbringer since they “fixed” his adds?

Reviver’s Protection – Grants Protection during the reviving animation.

My guess is that they may have been uncomfortably close to the domain of a certain Wizard on the Coast.
…as in one letter away-close
Do you even lift, bro?
i think this never will gonna happen
why? = because of ur personal story line i mean it just doesnt make any sense when u play norn till X-lvl and then u change race and get another story i also think it wil be hard to create a system like they also could reset storylines but not the lvls the player had gained just my thought although i would love to see it in the futureYou know what’s funny? Everyone seems to spew this same answer..
You know what’s even funnier? Everyone also includes several Anet devs’ responses.
So… yeah. Not gonna happen.

I want changeable underwear.
Why does my Norn wear modern day boxer-shorts rather than a loincloth?
Utterly stupid.
I would say maybe it’s because the state of modern technology in Tyria is seemingly higher in comparison than what you might see in say a game like Skyrim. Doing so though, would be purely speculative on my part, and I’m not about to start a “lore-war” of any sort.
Hardly. You have boxer shorts for the same reason why Fable went with boxer shorts: apparently it is “fun” to see your character in boxer shorts.
Do you even lift, bro?
A computer-generated dog/bear apparently.

Weren’t Dryders from the Underworld? Since the UW is kind of closed off, I don’t think Dryders would be able to pass through the veil like Spectres and Aataxae since the seem to be corporeal.

That’s as far Trahearne should’ve moved up in the Pact hierarchy.

I picked Bear and I got a female Bear Shaman help me out at one point in one of the final missions.
However, I have not done that on a character that has not picked Bear so I can’t really tell if that’s why she showed up, or if she always does, even to non-Norns.
Sorry this is over a week late, but that bear shaman always shows up. I recognized her on my silvari because she is part of one of the early Norn missions (I think defending the mysts choice) that I had done on another character and, like many other NPCs from the early questlines, makes an appearance towards the end.
Awww… what a bummer

As long as I don’t have to be bothered by Cyrillic spam I don’t see why not.

Pretty safe to say it is Zhaitan, I reckon. He matches the concept art.

I hate fighting warriors that know how to use a hammer. i do not have enough stun breaks to live so long. I never have issues with GS warriors. pvp or wvw.. maybe i have not met a good warrior.. or maybe the GS just isnt good at killing mesmers/me. So you are a “OP” warrior built specifically for GS but you can’t hit me.. sounds pretty useless.
this is why i don’t use GS on my warrior. But i guess there is no build that can top all builds.
Greatsword is a PvE weapon.
Once you’re up against something that actually has a brain, 99% of your damage can be avoided. Or you go with Bull’s Charge+Frenzy and you get one kill every few minutes due to the cooldown on Frenzy.
Definition of a one-trick pony.

He skips 99% of the content… This isn’t as much evidence of Warrior overpoweredness, but individual skill and how the ability to skip is hilarious.
Well, teams skip around 60% of the content, so I’d say he’s only skipping an extra 39%…and honestly, teams would skip even more than that if they could but it’s just not as feasable squeezing 5 people through to bypass that stuff. Everyone would need to be capable of handing their own aggro (even in that movie, he got caught a couple of times and had to go back…and this guy is really good)
Still, I find it funny.
Going straight for all three bosses is pretty much the ideal dungeon run. The mobs in dungeons are not worth killing at all, they’re just there to waste your time due to horrible loot and millions of Health.

It is already one of my favourite trees due to Shout healing and Boon duration, but yeah, the Minor Traits need some work.

Then lets switch and give the Carlton to Charr.

Axe mainhand is great for Warriors.
Axe offhand is rather lackluster.
Do you even lift, bro?
I hear you.
But turtling is silly as a Warrior wanting to do PvE. You’re going to take forever to kill anything.
