Lore-wise, Norn characters would be at least ten times as powerful as a character of any other race. Our playable Norns are real wussies, really. You don’t sending a few kittens to take out a big legendary Norn hero; you send an entire Legion and hope for the best!

In my humble opinion you don’t get enough out of Cleric as a Warrior to make it a desirable alternative to, let’s say, Knight.

I think dragon champions are not corrupted dragons – rather they are created specifically by Elder Dragons to be their most powerful lieutenants. The fact that there is an endless supply of those tells you something… would be inconvenient if every time we killed one, their elder dragon had to go and hunt down a member of a race which is not known for being numerous and corrupt it.

Elder dragons seem almost like elemental beings, and their champions probably follow suit. So basically they are like big elementals.

Let’s not get into that whole chronological mess again. Let’s just say that it may or may not be the same Claw you kill over and over.

Also, look at how numerous Zhaitan’s Champions are in Arah Story Mode; they blot out the sky! I don’t think Jormag is in short supply of Dragon henchmen, really…

The Arah light skin is all about the hood for Asura.

Also, one Norn is worth an army of Humans.

Lore-wise, even the weakest of Norns could pretty much grab the strongest of humans and crush them into a little ball in their hands.

I was hoping it would be a surprise, but sure. I rebuilt the “Defend Magg while he plants the bomb” event in CoF (path 2). It now involves a special flame legion assassin who must be killed before he reaches Magg, while dealing with never-ending spawns of (non veteran…) flame legion out to distract the players and add pressure.

I misread the last part as pleasure. Now I’m disappointed… Regardless, consider the bone thrown! Thanks, Robert :P

I do intend on putting more waypoints into dungeons, but due to the work required for this upcoming patch we didn’t get enough time to make it happen.
I’m not a fan of “punishment running” wherein your punishment for failing is having to run a long distance back to the fight. To discourage res rushing potential we went initially with fewer waypoints. Now that we are implementing a new tech, I would like to add more to reduce the time spent running back to an objective.
We have more info coming soon to how the system will be working.

So you’re just punishing us this patch, promising us compensation for the increased difficulty Soon?

You should hold with the respawn changes until you got the additional Waypoints ready…

The only thing that irritates me about world completion is that you have to 100% each borderlands in WvW. I actively participate in WvW, and it’s something that I enjoy, but I think it’s ridiculous that you have to complete the “same” content 3 times to get world completion. Sure, the skill points are slightly different, and the names are different, but it’s the same map.

I feel the same about having to complete the JP in each borderlands too, but that’s a different topic.

Yeah, you should just have to do your home Borderlands. Technically speaking, the other two Borderlands are not part of YOUR World even!

Sorry to hijack thread but WHY are corrupted Lodestones going up in price? I remember buying them for 1g25s last month, then it dropped to under 1g for wintersday and now its over 1g50s. Any insight? I was thinking of getting a Corrupted Axe to match my Jormag’s Breath but not at that price, lol.

They nerfed the loot drops from the Claw of Jormag event. I think they also nerfed the drop rate at the main farming locations in Frostgorge, but I can’t really confirm that.

Actually, the reason why is simple. Take a look at the Icebrood Colossus farming places: they are all devoid of bots! They were driving down the prices by supplying a lot of them, and now they’re gone.

The antlers are a bit… unimpressive, aren’t they? The female version got it right; they are the same size as the female concept art. I suggest fixing the male version to be as big as the original concept art.

You realize that isn’t the case at all?

It means that if you enjoy WvW you are forced to do PvE, and if you enjoy PvE you are forced to do WvW? You can’t just do one and get 100%.

The OP’s point was to say that the loss of adrenaline for the ability of the burst is not a good enough trade-off. In some cases it isn’t but in most cases it is.

I feel the total opposite, In most cases it is not worth it, but in some cases it is. But that also takes into account something I haven’t mentioned before: Healing Surge. I don’t like being caught off-guard and getting the crappiest heal available cause I “wasted” my Adrenaline.

If you were a Necromancer or Elementalist, I’d weep for you. But it is oddly fitting for a Mesmer, I suppose.

No, it is just a vanity item. I was able to painstakingly farm the Gold needed, as were many others. You can too. Just gotta belieeeeeeve in yourself.

That’s a well-known bug regarding any and all Transmuted Cultural sets, sadly…

My Norn’s transmuted cultural set works just fine. On this particular character it does not. I used an ingame item for its intended purpose on another high cost item and it broke it to the point that removing said armor causes the game to crash. This is unacceptable.

It was first reported on Norn Cultural sets though. They might’ve fixed those already because of it. I swear to you, I had the very same issue when I first got my Heavy T3 on my Norn main.

The Axe trait is not exlcusive to the Burst; it also works with auto-attacks. The biggest advantage of the Axe is also somewhat of a disadvantage; the auto-attack is so good that you penalize yourself far too much if you stop using it in favour of something else – which is why Axe is generally a poor choice for Off-hand weapons due to Whirling Axe not coming close to the damage of the auto-attack.

The usefulness of Skull Crack comes when combo’ing it with the stun you already have when running with the Mace. Add Shield Bash (perhaps in addition with Bull’s Rush) to that and you can disable someone for a good couple of seconds if you time it right.

The only parts that are “hard” are the WvW maps because unless your server is winning, you’re not getting most of the stuff.

Its kinda stupid that they are included in this, really.

Not in comparison to keeping at full Adrenaline with Berserker’s Power/H. Focus and keep chopping away with your auto-attack, no.

At least, that’s my take on it.

Well, the problem is that the F1 abilities are pretty imbalanced when compared.

Hammer, Sword, Longbow, Rifle and Mace are considered worth “sacrificing” the Adrenaline on, while Greatsword and Axe aren’t.

Secondly, the benefits of being at max Adrenaline with the two Traits Berserker’s Power and Heightened Focus generally out-weigh the benefits from your Burst.
