Actually the only reason GS out damages Hammer is because of Hundred Blades. Using the 1 skill the Hammer deals more damage than GS.
Whirlwind Attack (especially after the buff in the latest path!) does way more DPS than Hundred Blades.
Also, 1 on Greatsword stacks Vulnerability.

Ogres are pretty lame.
The only difference between males and females are the voices.
Would make for a bad playable race if you ask me.

30 tokens?
That’s weird.
I’ve never ever gotten more than 20 on a consecutive run of the same path.

Race: Norn
Gender: Male
Class: Warrior
Bugged armour piece: T1 Cultural Heavy Shoulders
Remaining armour worn: T3 Cultural Heavy
Weapon: Corrupted Avenger
These don’t look bad in the Hero Panel, but in-game they look quite bad – they are floating/hoovering quite a distance away from your actual shoulders.

So I know that you’re looking to make it desirable to use it rather than staying at full Adernaline. I suggest taking a look at the two Burst abilities on melee weapons that are done “right” – Sword and Hammer.
Both these a really nice utility, Immobilize on Sword and AoE Stun on Hammer. So here is my suggestion for Arcing Slice:
Change the animation to be an actual uppercut(why isn’t now I wonder?) and add a scaling blowout to the swing. This is something unique (like Sword/Hammer) and would be really useful both for defending yourself as well as setting up kills – imagine using it on an enemy in WvW/sPvP to knock someone back towards your team for an easy kill, or knocking someone off a friend!

It is in the Order or Whisper’s HQ.
It is really stupid that it should count; I had the very same problem.

Anyone else getting tired of his wondrous teleporting infinite add magic act? The way the adds behave can’t be intended, nor can the amount of them be. The adds teleport all over the place and randomly disappear and appear again.
This just to be a rare event, but now he bugs out every fight. If this truly is intended, you’ve got some tweaking to do!

I find that killing stuff usually takes care of them, y’know?

STOP !
Hammer time.
and you can use Hammer for trash and swap to GS or whatever at boss.
They don’t share specc, so that really isn’t that viable. You either specc for Hammer or Greatsword.

Changing the animation to be an actual uppercut and adding a blowout function to it would be kinda neat.

You get the idea. We’ve been down this road before. Why does longbow still require a trait just to have the same range as a baseline rifle?
Anet’s reasoning here is obvious:
Rifle is single-target.
Longbow is AoE.
I’d really like to see all the non-AoE attacks on the Longbow having 1200 range.

Blunt weapons are defensive and utility weapons.
Bladed weapons are offensive damage-dealing weapons.
That’s a good rule of thumb to remember when it comes to Warriors.
Thanks to the Forceful Greatsword trait, as well as a well-rounded set of attacks, the Greatsword really is the king of Warrior weapons. Hammers are nice in PvP but rather lackluster in PvE due to Defiant stacks on bosses reducing your effectiveness drastically.

Commander icons mean that person had 100 gold. That is all.
^this. And considering they spent 100 gold on nothing important, my initial reaction is that they are pretty stupid.

I wish Hammer was as nice as Greatsword for Warriors because I prefer the Juggernaut by far.

It is not Jormag!
The thread title says Jormag. … want to elaborate?
Jormag isn’t in the game yet. You think that wussy is an actual Elder Dragon?
Shame on you!

I agree.
60%+Heightened Focus (if it does work) seems to be the “sweet spot”.

Walls of text! OMG. Use knights armor, Berserker weapon. Mix of knights/berserker trikets with berserker jewels. Thats the best build. It gives a good balance of defense and power. Or use the karma soldier armor found in Orr and mix it with knights armor same trinkets as the 1st one.
Runes is doesn’t mater, use solder runes for condition removal, Rage runes for crit, or strength runes for power are all good. Do not use berserker armor.
You seem to be missing a little bit of Vitality with that Toughness. Instead of so much zerkers, have a little Valkyries here and there, because toughness quickly looses it’s worth without some vitality to work off.
Warriors have a very high natural Health, so Toughness benefits us more than Vitality in the long run.
Do you even lift, bro?
There will always be more Skritt.

Yeah as I said; you can’t actually wear that piece of armour anyway, so who cares?!
It WAS, however, very handy for finding good-looking gear for your alts.
Do you even lift, bro?
Probably because people abused it to get “free” Ectoplasm Orbs.

Water-specced Elementalist is as close as you can come to a true “Healer” in the game, really.
Great support built in, too, with the ability to go Earth Atunement for Cripple and Immobilize.

Besides, once you hit 60 (or maybe 70) you get the “Orr” variety of Risen which are a lot more interesting… and far more annoying!

With a helmet from the exotic sets of your choice – or alternatively 60 dungeon tokens!
Giving out a level 80 rare helmet as this one-time reward is stupid. Who in their right mind would spend tokens on completing the rare set when you can get the exotic set? I can understand the lower level dungeons doing this, after all they are below level 80 so you can’t wear the exotic set yet. But Arah is level 80!
The helmet ended up being Salvaged (as I am most certain 100% of all these helmets end up). No ectos. Poo.

Just because you don’t grasp enough English to understand my (rather simple, to be honest) witty response doesn’t mean you have to get your knickers in a bunch about it. I answered your question in a type of English most people would understand. Not my problem.
You: If I have over 100% critical hit chance, do I get any sort of benefit?
Me: No, it does nothing special.
I don’t see how you’re having problem understanding that?
Do you even lift, bro?
I’ve been messing around with some classes trying to get a feel for a class that is really agile and fast. I like the whole lightning whip thing with the Ele but I felt it was a little too slow for me. I LOVE the ranger with the sword. I think I might make that my primary character, but I was wondering if there were any other classes that may have faster or similar playstyles to a ranger with a sword. Just looking for something really fast and jumpy around and stuff.
Obvious answer seems to be “Thief”.
Do you even lift, bro?
Oh don’t get me started on the Rangers in AC! They’re are programmed to be such… poo-poo heads, lol
You roll towards them to avoid their arrows and bang! Boot to the head and you go flying out of melee range again, usually followed by a Crippling/Poisoned arrow before you get back on your feet!
Do you even lift, bro?
I don’t make this claim lightly, but I can pretty confidently say that most (if not all) players don’t care about clipping issues in the preview window! If I, as a Warrior, preview a Light armour robe-type chestpiece I expect it to clip with my Heavy armour pieces! As I did not have any intention of wearing said Light armour piece on my Warrior – as it is, in fact, impossible – the clipping didn’t bother me! The reason why I would preview armour I could not use was to see if it was worth getting for my alt(s) that could use it!
Sadly, I can no longer go looking for neat armour pieces on my main anymore thank to this “fix”. This was not an issue and it did not require any sort of fixing. What’s that old saying…
“Don’t attempt to fix that which is not broken.”
Do you even lift, bro?
and where/ how do you obtain the knight armor and zerk weapon?
The armour is called Draconic and the weapon is called Pearl.
You either craft them yourself (requires maxed crafting skill) or buy them off the Trading Post.

In my humble opinion, these are two pressing issues Warriors face in the current state of the game:
1. Forceful Greatsword – in combination with two rapid attacks (Hundred Blades & Whirlwind Attack) this Trait is just too good to justify using any other melee weapon than for niche roles such as Immobilize via Sword F1. I’d like to see it made into a universal Trait that works for all weapons.
2. Forced into spending 30 points in Discipline for 30% Boon Duration. This was bad before, but now that everyone and their grandma have Movement Speed Signets you need that almost-perma-Swiftness from Signet of Rage to at least stand some chance against these kiting kittens.
Do you even lift, bro?
not true, Hundred blades which is suppose to do 344 damage, i do 751… i’d say thats pretty special
Swing and a miss!
My point is that going over 100% critical hit chance grants you no special benefits.
thats not at all what you said, i see you corrected your answer after reading some other peoples responses, so you should put that “swing and a miss” as a response to your original comment
That is precisely what I said.
You asked what happens when you pass 100% critical hit chance and in both my posts I stated that it does nothing special – you do not get any benefit from stacking it higher.

I’m guessing you either haven’t logged in during the Winterday event, or perhaps you are blind – the toy minis are huge.
The Toy Soldier is pretty small.>.> The other ones don’t look that much bigger either.
They are far bulkier than most Minis, and they certainly dwarf poor little Foostivoo…

MF isn’t a magical “switch” to turn on “the good loot”. You are still a victim of the RNG, albeit slighty, sliiightly less so.
Do you even lift, bro?
Hey everyone. This is a fix that is working as intended. As these armor types were never designed to be worn together, it resulted in some graphic issues when previewing them.
That is downright… poo-y!
I use my main character to go hunting for armour sets to acquire on my alts at a later date!
Booo! BOOOOOOO!!!

How are condition builds “worthless” in groups?
My guess is his issue is with having a 25 stack cap so everyone can’t play a bleed spec. Which is not actually an issue since you have three attributes on armor sets, can reset major trait bonuses and skills, and can communicate with your group beforehand to see if there is going to be a conflict.
My, my aren’t you cute little apologist.
Raw damage dealers don’t have to respecc just because there are another raw damage dealer in the group, why should a condition damage dealer have to?
It is broken and unfair.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Its actually not that much smaller than other minis.
