Either Healing Signet or Adrenal Surge.
I prefer Adrenal Surge.

In a world were firearms exists, it makes perfect sense for hunters to use them.

Do you see the problem here?
Also this topic has been done to death.
No I don’t see the problem?

The 30% longer Boon duration is what seals the deal with the Tactics trait line, really.

My friend learned this recipe earlier today. It won’t show up in her list of craftable things. We’ve checked and double-checked her filter settings, but we can’t get it to show up.
When she mouses over another copy of the recipe it says that she already knows it.

In Satan’s glorious name, make him SHUT UP! I know that you reduced his range from reach the entire map (which I am ever so thankful for!) but he can still be heard miles away from the actual CoE complex!
Ballgag on him.

I agree.
Why this (and name change) wasn’t included in the “TOTAL MAKE-OVER kit”, I’ll never understand… Especially name change. Why include a gender change without a name change? Most of us have picked a gender-based name…

I assume you mean Greatsword? Because Hammer and Greatswords are apples and oranges. On stats: Vitality is not important. Warriors get tons of Health by default, and Vitality without Toughness is pointless. Power, Toughness and Precision are all good stats to aim for.
If you’re going Greatsword, a solid build is:
Strength: 10 (Berserker’s Power)
Arms: 20 (Rending Strikes and Forceful Greatsword)
Tactics: 30 (Empowered, Lung Capacity and Vigorous Shouts)
Discipline: 10 (Heightened Focus)
You can also go Tactics: 30 (Inspiring Banners, Empowered and Inspiring Battle Standard) for Banner Healing rather than Shout healing.

As I said in the other thread on the subject (!), a Knockdown via Powerful Banners would be hilarious as well as useful.
Do you even lift, bro?
That sucks. It doesn’t even count for the map it is in, why should it count for World Completion? Bollocks I say!
But thanks everyone.

I’m at a loss here. I’ve mapped every area (I’ve got all the Tasks, Waypoints and Vistas) but these areas only have 718 Points of Interest in them total – I need 719 apparently.
What the fudge?

So it’s a story featuring mostly Sylvaris. And the problem with that is…? You are still the race that you chose and that’s all that matters.
The problem is that my character is written as if he was Sylvari, despite being Norn (or any of the other non-salad races).
As mentioned, my Norn acts as if he knew all these characters as if he had played the Sylvari storyline!

Are you for real? Berserker’s Might is the best 10 trait points any Warrior can spend!
That’s Berserker’s Power. Berserker’s Might is the Strength Grandmaster trait that gives you Berserker Stance every time you have more than 5 stacks of might on a 45c icd.
Oh yeah, my bad.

Racial skill are meant to be less powerfull since all the race have different race skill but same class skill. They are there for the fun of using them and not of owning kitten
Tell that to the Asura, or humans.
True… I LOVE my racials on my Asuran Ranger – the golems are AWESOME.
I gotta admit this thread has me worried. I picked Norn for my thief alt because I envisioned animal form to be the huge, hulking hybrid form from GW1, but the way people sre describing the experience is… meh. Guess I’ll see when I get a few more levels.
Before GW2 was released, I thought all the concept art of Kodan where actually the Norn (polar) Bear Form.
How disappointed I was…

Omnomberry Pies are AMAZING, simple as that.

Sustain is Guardian territory, sadly.
I get more survivability with a more offensive built using Omnomberry Pies than when trying a “healing” Warrior.

Would be better if they changed it to Knockdown or something fun like that.
That would be hilarious.
Imagine a hammer warrior with 6 aoe interruptions.
I know, right?
Let’s play “Pin the flag on the Elementalist”!

Since I was kind enough to explain it to Guardians on their mace skill Faithful strike, here is the formula for this trait.
40+((Level^2) x 0.18) + (Healing x 0.8)
so at 0 healing at level 80: 40 + 1152 = 1192
at 1500 healing at level 80: 40+1152+1200= 2192
Any chance for a slight boost?
Eh, eh?

I don’t like triple Shout though.
I want Signet of Stamina in there.

Shouts are more for Condition removal via Soldier Runes than they are for pure healing though.
Something to keep in mind.

Whenever I fight “Sniper”-type enemies, I feel envy. Like the Bandit Riflemen in CM Exploration. I realize that Rangers shouldn’t have “all” the long range weapons and that Engineers needed something for themselves… but still.
Anyone else feel the same?
Do you even lift, bro?
Without any Healing Power at lvl80, I’d say they heal for roughly 1.000, give or take.
Do you even lift, bro?
You’re never going to be a healer nor a tank as a Warrior.
That’s reserved for Guardians… sadly.
I also have a level 80 Guardian that I’m starting to exotic out and she will be pure support/heals for dungeon runs, but that another topic for now I’m asking about traits for a tank build warrior.
Should I stick with shouts or go banners?
Should I keep the 20 points in strength or put them in arms and discipline for more crit chance. This will be pure PvE lots of time spent solo working on gathering resources and getting 100% world completion and running dungeons when we need a warrior over a Guardian.
I prefer Shouts because they offer Condition cleansing, which Banners don’t. Especially tasty with Soldier Runes (each Shout removes a Condition; Shake it Off! removes two).
The healing is a lot worse than Banners though; it is more about adding a little bit of damage mitigation per Shout than it is consistent healing.

Equip an Axe on a Warrior.
Smash the 1 key.
There’s no “swoosh!” sound, unlike all other weapons.
Only tested on a male Norn.
Other races’ animations with the Axe might produce a “swoosh!” sound.

With some Omnomberry Pies you should be able to do one of the easier dungeons, for sure.

Just need to add more Lightning Elementals on other maps.
It’s not so much the quantity of them as it is the drop rate of shards, cores, lodestones… It’s an abysmal rate combined with an absurd quantity needed in order to create legendary items…. basically, the story of almost every item necessary to create a legendary.
Sure, but that affects all Lodestones.
Compare them to Corrupted Lodestones and you’ll see that part of the problem with Charged Lodestones is that so few mobs drop them. Almost every single mob in Frostgorge can drop Corrupted Lodestones.
Well, maybe not wide-spread, but almost. Lots of different mobs in Frostgorge do drop them.

Oglaf likes to troll warrior forums…
Everyone is a troll when they tell the truth you don’t want to hear.
But by all means, do believe that Warriors can tank just as well as Guardians if you want, you poor deluded person. Doesn’t change the fact that they aren’t. The main reasons for this is:
a. Protection. With a Hammer you keep it up 24/7 with the right traits. (As a Warrior I lament the fact that so few Guardians run this weapon, it is a pleasure to play alongside Hammer Guardians)
b. Sustain. A Guardian might have less Health than a Warrior, but in addition to mitigating damage better they also heal their own Health waaay better.

Doesn’t mean there aren’t any human/norn couples, just that they can’t have children.
Norn female, human male…. death by snoo snoo.
Farewell friends.
I never thought I’d die like this, but I’ve always secretly hoped.

Look at GW2’s art design and it is obvious to see that they went the oversized route.
Greatswords are oversized.
Longswords are oversized.
Stands for reason that Hammers should be as well.

The very, very basic level of Precision as in actually hitting something, yes.
Do you even lift, bro?
However axes serve no purpose a thief would want, they are not precise weapons. Axes are squarely in the “hack’n’slash” style of combat. No precision, just general ideas of targets as precision with such a weapon is nigh impossible, the way they are balanced prevents it.
I disagree! When execuTORS need to chop someone’s head off, they would preferably aim neatly on the executed’s neck, rather than his back since that could take longer. Chopping off half his head is no good either, as his entire head needs to go.
AXES REQUIRE PRECISION TOO!
But yeah I agree that they wouldn’t fit thieves.Executions were not performed with precision at all. The executioner’s blade was a big heavy lump of metal that relied on brute force to get the job done. More often than not it required multiple chops.
Multiple chops AT THE SAME SPOT OF THE PREVIOUS CHOP SEVERAL TIMES.
If that’s not precision then I don’t know what is.
You seem to be confusing precision with one shots that get things done in one attempt. You’re wrong. Precision can require multiple attempts. Such as hammering nails into wood. If you don’t hit the nail on the head, it will bend and possibly become useless. In short: YOU’RE WRONG.
Capital letters are cruise control for cool.
Also, you’re wrong. Executions were grizzly and blunt affairs, not precise. There is a reason why the Guillotine was invented.
Do you even lift, bro?
My little Pony bow, yeah that’s totally serious…The reason i never bothered with Legendaries are they are a joke on the owner and of course the pain to actually get them..
I even laugh and Dusk/Twilight users they are one ugly FF7 cloud sword..
I don’t see the resemblance. There is a random GS that does look like that though, but its a generic trash drop. The legendary ones are also not as grossly overaized as that joke of a sword.
I agree though, most of the legendary items are bland and don’t look special. A few I saw (shortbow and longbow, even the hammer is boarderline) don’t even look like legendary items. The GS, staff, and one or two others are eye catching and obviously legendary items.
The Axe actually creates ice up your character’s arm, not unlike Icebrood.
Super awesome.

I’m not asking to lower the difficulty, but the annoyance level. I trust Anet to be able to create a challenging experience without resorting to these cheap “tricks” to artificially make it more of a bother than it has to be.
Do you even lift, bro?
The “Risen Acolytes” are amongst the worst perpetrators of this bullcrap.
Longest aggro radius in the game.
Spam Immobilize.
Do you even lift, bro?
It needs to be made less ANNOYING.
All the mobs have huge aggro ranges.
All the mobs spam crowd-control abilities and/or Cripple/Chilled which forces you to fight them.
90% of the Waypoints are useless because they are constantly contested.
Do you even lift, bro?
Or at the very least, don’t give everything millions upon millions of Health.
That is not how you make something feel “epic” in scope.

Do you even lift, bro?
Once you get started with the Pact, the story becomes so biased towards Sylvari characters it sickens me. First you have Trahearne that almost literally falls out of the sky and takes over everything your character and his/her faction tried to do. My Norn Warrior was like “Who is this stupid vegetable hogging all my glory? I did all the work, I don’t even know him!”
Of course, in cutscenes my Norn was all chummy with him which felt out of place. Then I got to a 79 mission which involved one NPC heroically sacrificing herself. I don’t remember her name because I’ve not seen her before (My character acted as if he had, of course, bemoaning her tragic fate and what a brave soldier she was etc etc).
Then I find out that these things are much more fleshed out if you play a Sylvari character. Apparently you meet both the random NPC and Trahearne in your story as a Sylvari! Why make ALL characters act as if they were all chummy with these NPCs? It makes no sense! My norn would’ve slapped Trahearne in his monotone expressionless face for hogging all HIS glory and ruining HIS legend.
Now I realize that the story needed it’s deux e machina but why make it so painfully based on a Sylvari character’s perspective?
Humbug.

SHAKE IT OFF!
FOR GREAT JUSTICE!

SHAKE IT OFF!
It would really help if each Race/Gender combination had at least five different voices to pick from.

Are you guys sure it will work? I tryed that with blue and green item transmutation but other char couldnt pick it up from bank. Perhaps i did something different tho…
The item you use must not have any soulbound properties on it.
If it says Soulbound on Use it WILL bind to the character doing the first Transmutation.
It has to be a clean white-equality item.
