And do we really need to do three IDENTICAL maps? That’s just stupid. If you insist on keeping WvW areas, one Borderland+Eternal Battlegrounds should be enough!

Race =/= Species

Not to mention that some servers are just dominating and others are just being whipped.
It is immensely unfair.
Remove PVE areas from World Completion. PVE map completion is unfair to be considered for a player’s PvP progress when PvE is inherently designed for bots.
You’re being a troll, but I’ll bite: this is already true to an extent as you don’t have to map every dungeon.

Just a society of tribal hunter/gatherer humans who grow abnormally large? Or a whole separate species from humans?
P.S Don’t tell me that they are “lycans” or whatever. They’re not. The ability to change into animal form is granted to them from the Spirits, just as the ability to change into a tree is granted to Humans by their Deity Melandru.

Maybe Anet needs to make some changes/adjustments to the T3 norn cultural Armor:
-make shoulders more fitting
-make the antlers bigger with more points
-cover up them fingers :Pwould you agree?
Who in their right mind would disagree?
Do you even lift, bro?
Just do a google image search for “medieval war hammer”.
Most of the Longswords (one-handers) are bulkier than a real two-handed sword.
Greatswords are oversized as kitten, let Hammers enjoy the same!
Do you even lift, bro?
Its a good thing really, makes the job of the glasscannon’s a lot easier.
On the other hand it sorta screws over a lot of people. “Yeah, my Thief has a hard time surviving dungeons. I’ll just add some Toughness and it’ll be OK!”
Switch “Thief” with “Mesmer” and it will be a true story involving one of my IRL friends, haha.
Do you even lift, bro?
The only one I really, really like is the Axe.
Everything from the general theme to how it actually looks/behaves in-game is beautifully designed.

A name change should be included with the TOTAL make-over kit considering the gender change option.
Or you’ll have to say hello to Ulfbjorn the Transexual Norn!

Just like you don’t need to explore every Dungeon, you shouldn’t have to explore WvW areas for 100% World Completion. My server just sucks sooo much kittens at WvW that there is no way I will ever get the Vistas/POIs inside those Keeps and whatnots.
Either that or give everyone on Fissure of Woe permission to skip the 7 day cooldown on Server Transfer… lol
Do you even lift, bro?
I’ve gotten two in about two months. Either that or they magically appeared in my inventory with absolutely no warning.
You probably got them as exploration rewards.
Do you even lift, bro?
CM is definitely one of the worse dungeons in the game. Pre-lvl80 I avoided it like the plague. Now at 80 with full Exotics it is still a big pain: mobs inflicting 25 stacks of Bleed AND Poison with ONE attack.
Several rooms with tons of Silver mobs which I’ve found no other way to clear than to just corpse run it. Seriously. Sometimes I feel they weren’t supposed to be Silver but were made so by mistake. Kitten those rooms on path 1 and 3.
Do you even lift, bro?
Yeah, as I said; like there were two (or a very divided single) teams behind designing them…
Do you even lift, bro?
Because I’ve probably gone a month or two (of playing at least a few hours a day) and I haven’t seen a single key drop.
Do you even lift, bro?
I agree.
When leveling my Norn Warrior I bought T1 and used it until I could use T2, which I then wore until I hit lv80.
T3? I bought it an without hesitation transmuted it onto a spare Ascalonian Catacombs set I bought for that purpose.
Do you even lift, bro?
The only worthwhile one is Snow Leopard because it grants stealth capabilities to classes that don’t have access to it. I’m still not too eager to replace my Signet of Rage as a Norn Warrior though…
Do you even lift, bro?
Fast Hands: This trait should be built-in to the Warrior class by default, really.
Do you even lift, bro?
Sword/Sword will have many Thieves and Necromancers curse your very existence as well.
Do you even lift, bro?
His abilities are not too bad.
But when he spams his most powerful like that, it gets real bad.
Do you even lift, bro?
The only class that should have shorter cooldown are Warriors, being the “masters-at-arms” as they are.
Their “Fast Hand” trait should be built into the class.

It is like half of the “Legendary Team” who designed the Legendaries thought they were doing joke weapon skins for the Gem Store…
I could totally see a “Disco Town Clothes” package coming with that mace skin.
Do you even lift, bro?
There are quivers in Fractals I believe.
But I agree with you nontheless.
As a Warrior, I’d love a mount for my Banner so I could carry it around with me on my back!
Do you even lift, bro?
The mace is a freakin’ joke.
It is a disco-ball on a stick.
What moron thought “Hey, the players will feel like this is epic-looking and worth the grind/effort! What a great concept!”..?
Do you even lift, bro?
I agree with the OP.
Orr is horrible. Orr is a chore. Games are not supposed to be horrible chores.
Once they add another major end-game area (Jormag/Icebrood area/dungeon, please!), Orr will be forgotten.
It is a horrible couple of areas that are designed to be as frustrating as possible.
Do you even lift, bro?
Alternatively, make previewing weapons show your character in the “combat-ready stance” rather than the idle stance.
Previewing anything but two-handed weapons (and shields) is a royal PITA because they clip into your armour.
Do you even lift, bro?
Great suggestion.
Lets kill the entire Elementalist class!

Do you even lift, bro?
I’d love an “Icebrood” area or two (like how the Orr areas are “Risen” areas).
That’d be so frickin’ sweet.
Do you even lift, bro?
Guardians get Longbows, Warriors get Pistols.
Deal?
Do you even lift, bro?
however a lot of norn armor also features pelts, so not entirely convinced it is a question of feeling too hot.
That’s probably a cultural aspect, not a practical one?
Do you even lift, bro?
Because armor looks like **** with the “hulk” body type…?
Do you even lift, bro?
I also don’t like the bare fingers on the male version.
Looks rather silly and awkward.
Do you even lift, bro?
Yup, the floating thing annoys the heck out of me too.
Needs to be re-modeled.
Do you even lift, bro?
He has become nigh-impossible after this path. He does his leap attack far too often, sometimes as frequently as every other between normal attacks. This is just too much damage, even for the hardiest of tanks. The ability has too big area of effect and hurts too much to be spammed like that.
Compare to earlier when he almost always did 2-4 normal attacks before the leap.
Do you even lift, bro?
There is a lot more things that needs to be fixed about HotW.
For example the mobs right after Fimbul on path 3: sometimes they will NEVER stop chasing you. Even if you all die and respawn they will teleport to the entrance!
Do you even lift, bro?
The cooldown is ridiculously long.
90 seconds.
Do you even lift, bro?
really highest toughness gets aggro ? when ever i roll my glass cannon warrior i always get aggro O_O i barely have any armor on me like 2.4 only
As I said, initial aggro tends to favour Warriors/Guardians. I guess Toughness comes into player afterwards when damage gets dealt, or if two Warriors/Guardians aggro the same mob at the same time?
Do you even lift, bro?
That’s not really Warriors being over-powered, but Thiefs being almost useless as melee characters in dungeons and stuff due to random AoE on mob attacks.
Do you even lift, bro?
The self root on the 4 ability for the Hammer (aoe knockback) makes the ability so awkward to use as well.
When the ability finally goes off after 10000 seconds of “cast time” everything will already have moved out of range!
Do you even lift, bro?
Indeed. As I said, aggro seems to vary greatly. For example, “Riflemen” in CM tend to target people in the Light armour over Medium armour, and Medium armor over Heavy.
They will also ignore anyone hitting them in melee if there are other targets available.
Do you even lift, bro?
(edited by Oglaf.1074)
I’ve never been able to figure out the aggro system in this game; seems every mob reacts differently. However, as far as INITIAL AGGRO goes, the bigger armor you wear, the more likely you are to get attacked. If both a Warrior and a Thief walks into aggro range of a mob, the mob WILL target the Warrior.
I agree with you; this is a problem for Warriors who aggro as easily as Guardians, but have a helluva lot harder to deal with it – even is we don’t go glass cannon we can’t tank as well as a Guardian.
I did CM exploration as the only guy in Heavy Armor yesterday; we had to have one of the guys in Light Armor to log his Warrior just to share the aggro. The initial burst from CM mobs (especially the ones who apply Poison and 25 stacks of Bleed with one attack!) was just too much to handle.
Do you even lift, bro?
Why buy when dungeon gear is essentially free?
Do you even lift, bro?
If you’re just leveling up exploring maps so, I’d say go for Strength and Arms (pick up the Precision per Signet trait in Arms). Equips as many Signets as possible.
Kill stuff before it kills you.
However, this build is horrible for any sort of team effort like dungeons or Champion/Legendary mobs in events.
Do you even lift, bro?
No need to get snappy with me. You have to expect people to disagree with you.
Do you even lift, bro?
Fury isn’t overrated, I never said that.
But being able to keep it up constantly is, since with a very solid Shout build you can nearly keep it up constantly.
Do you even lift, bro?
Perma-Fury is overrated. With 30% longer Boon duration as For Great Justice!/Signet of Rage I can keep it up for when I need it anyway.
Do you even lift, bro?
Anyone else having this bug out? My character will charge the enemy, but rather than stick them with the sword, he just keeps running at them until the skill runs out…
Do you even lift, bro?
The passive effect is pretty horrible, and has always been, but the active is delicious.
Especially when you can keep it going 24/7.
