Please don’t. They’re the only thing challenging in there. They give you a reason to use cc abilities over raw damage (which works against 99% of the other mobs); if you see someone pinned down, smack the Scavenger in the butt with any form off cc and it will be stunned an additional time because it was knocked out of “pinning down”-mode.
I’ve cursed their name on multiple occasions after a “cheap” death, but I still would be sad to see them go. The only thing I would love see getting removed is their ability to gobble up your Boons, but I’m pretty sure that isn’t happening, ever

Actually, Norns in Norse Mythology are creepy old ladies with prophetic abilities. Like those creepy old hags in Disney’s Hercules that had to share an eye, remember?
Do you even lift, bro?
If I could be as overpowered with the Knockdown spamming as Nightmare Knights, I would!
Do you even lift, bro?
Just skip all the RNG nonsense and give everyone a choice of profession specific precursor when they finish the story.
Problem solved.
The item you trade your Victory Token for is guaranteed to be weaker than what you used to finish Arah Story with anyway, and Precursors are just stupid at the moment. Pure unadulterated stupidity.
So kill two birds with one stone: change lackluster reward for finishing Story and set you on your way to build your Legendary by handing you one Precursor of choice.

The Warrior is solid.
Just don’t roll one with the hopes of being a traditional tank, because we can’t do that in GW 2. That’s for Guardians.

You and your birthing fetish, people!
Jeesh
Why would he breed Icebrood when he can just wave his figurative wand at random beings and transform them into Icebrood?

Don’t run past the Oozes.
That’s what triggers it apparently.
Do you even lift, bro?
I know people will talk about earth elementals for Onyx and stuff like that but ALL Lodestones do NOT have a set Drop% You could farm Earth elementals for Onyx for 1 hour and get 1, the next day you could farm for 10 hours and get 0, Because the drop rate is not SET.
No, that’s exactly how probabilities work.
if it was say 1% you would see 1 every 100 kills. this is NOT the case, Lodestones are on a drop rate that that is way more complex. Imagine a dice roll from 1-5000. anytime 3567 is rolled an onyx lodestone will drop.
No, a 1% drop rate means that for sufficiently many kills you’d see 1 drop in every 100 kills on average.
The problem is 1) Charged Lodes are in incredibly high demand thanks to anet putting a gorillion recipes required absurdly high amounts of them; 2) Horrible horrible drop rates; 3) DR on motherkittening EVERYTHING, god forbid we actually get loot; 4) kitten CoE with it’s horribly low drop rate.
Please refrain from commenting on things you know nothing about.
Don’t forget how annoying it is just to get a shot at farming the Lightning Elementals in Orr.

Without any sort of burst healing (except Healing Surge), we’re not going to tank anything of the sort.
Do you even lift, bro?
Also it seems as if people want the warrior to be a lone-wolf but that is against what A-net had in mind.
Thus it not being an easy class to play UNLESS your with supportive roles.
Why do you keep bringing up these irrelevant points of yours that have nothing at all to do with the topic – which, last I checked, was about the Hammer and it’s faults?
Do you even lift, bro?
Well, we are but ants to them. Of course we have to oversimplify their motives.
Do you even lift, bro?
Some crafted Knight pieces perhaps?
This gives Toughness/Power/Precision.
Do you even lift, bro?
I disagree.
I am not American, so I don’t care about Halloween. At all. Christmas (or Wintersday) is a global holiday which everyone can relate to.
what makes you assume halloween is an american thing only? O.o
Because it is inherently American…? But thanks to Coca-Colaism it is spreading across the globe at a rapid rate.
Do you even lift, bro?
Then you’re probably playing the wrong class.
I don’t see why Elementalists should get even more toys when they’re already the top dogs of the Scholar professions.
Do you even lift, bro?
The answer is as obvious as it is simple:
Because nobody can afford them anyway.
Do you even lift, bro?
No sir, you are wrong. If you want an easy class play a thief.
What does this have to do with anything in this thread?
You ruining the game by trying to make everything a cookie-cutter. Go play runescape if you want an easy warrior.
What does this have to do with anything in this thread?
And if mace is so much better then use it! Don’t whine about one weapon and then give praise to another. There’s many weapons under the skill tree, pick one that’s not “crap” and move on. Try a glasscannon rifle build you might like it >.>
You’re talking about cookie-cutter builds being bad, and yet here you are praising the fact that some weapons are just plainly better than others? If you don’t want cookie-cutter builds around you should advocate equality amongst all the different weapon types.
TL, DR: You’re either lacking understanding on the issue or you’re a (bad) troll. For your sake, I’m hoping it is the latter.

Get yourself a cultural T1 set as early as possible and start transmuting, and never ever look back.
Do you even lift, bro?
Trahearne actually has a line where he says his necromantic minions were never alive. So they apparently don’t have to raise formerly living things.
Technically not true. There are no “alive” Flesh Golems, but Flesh Golems are made out of the raw parts of something(s) that was/were once alive. That’s probably what he meant. Or he was just being kitten ol’ Trahearne.
Like the Bone Fiend, you can clearly tell how it is partially constructed out of two rib cages – one of which is children-sized…
Do you even lift, bro?
Maybe consider it this way. Most animals never mate with anything outside of their own species and in most cases not even within the different branches of the same species. It is not a choice or concious… they just… dont.
Fantasy world. :P
Ask classic elves and humans. How was Half-elves born? :PHaha, wow. That line may have been taken slightly out of context. I think it would be hard to fall in love with a sylvari for the other races. They don’t really have some of the needed equipment the other races have, if you catch my drift.
Not quite right I say.
Romance and sex is practiced among the sylvari, disregarding gender between those involved.
So you know.
It Can happen.
Men and Elves are both made out of meat.
Men and Sylvari are made out of meat and vegetables.
The thought of a meat/vegetable hybrid running around reminds me of that “Kill me…!”-scene out of the Aliens movie.

I think I’d be as qualified to judge the sexual attractiveness of female Asura as I would be the sexual attractiveness of shaved badgers.
That is to say not at all.
Do you even lift, bro?
I disagree.
I am not American, so I don’t care about Halloween. At all. Christmas (or Wintersday) is a global holiday which everyone can relate to.
Do you even lift, bro?
If you want to look good, Asura are probably the worst choice you can make because they are so tiny it is hard for you to see your shiny Exotics/Legendary, let alone anyone else!
Do you even lift, bro?
(I never do hotw for some reason so dont know)
HoTW is (besides some rather nasty bugs with first boss in Path 1) relatively easy but the enemies have some of the highest health in the game so the fights take a while.
Boredom is your worst enemy at certain points, lol
Do you even lift, bro?
Ask yourself: do I play a class that has high Health by default?
Necromancers have the highest base Health in the game, so you would definitely benefit more from Toughness than Vitality at this point.
Do you even lift, bro?
To be fair, it is a new model that uses the same animations and not a reskin.
Do you even lift, bro?
Personally, I think it is pretty simple: Jormag learned something when his champion tried to corrupt Jora and Svanir that made him decide not to bother with corrupting women. Perhaps something as simple as the male psyche being easier to mislead with promises of power.
Do you even lift, bro?
You realize you would have to cut your damage by quite a lot to compensate?
Do you even lift, bro?
Lets make Fear even more useless after the Defiant change.
Yaaaaay.
If anything, all Fear abilities need to have their cooldown decreased by a lot to reflect the recent changes (read: nerfs).
Do you even lift, bro?
In combat the predator is plenty noticeable, since your projectiles become purple and your gun makes a pew pew sound.
I always play with sounds off and my music on, so I would miss out on 50% of my legendary?
Pretty much, yes. But to be fair, that’s how it is with most of them.
Do you even lift, bro?
As a Warrior I don’t really mind: no other weapon can really compare to the Greatsword for us.
Do you even lift, bro?
Personally, I think hammer is just fine. If you can’t find a way to work with what they’ve given you then reroll.
You’re wrong. Backbreaker is horrible, it has higher cooldown than the offhand Mace knockdown (which also is AOE and has miles upon miles of range!) and it doesn’t work in combination with Merciless Hammer (no ability really does because the Knockdowns are just too short for them to matter).
In short, stop being a suck-up and admit that there are problems. People like you are hurting the class immensely by defending everything.
Do you even lift, bro?
That being said, few Crafting Professions have the long-lasting appeal of Cooking.
Do you even lift, bro?
Opening and closing it usually fixes it, so it is no biggie. Just thought I’d report it just in case.

Not so awesome when you spent 6g on a Haircut Kit and end up with that…

Look near his shoulder. There is a leather strap with metal studs on it, now turned to stone with him. So whatever they wore apparently turned to stone with them (as with Ogden).
Do you even lift, bro?
That’s probably old concept art from before the Sons of Svanir were fully fleshed out. The reason why no women are allowed is because Jora (a girl) killed Svanir himself. Makes me wonder what they would’ve done if a man had killed Svanir: then they would have to be the Sons of Svanir, No Men Allowed.
Do you even lift, bro?
They’re ghostly weapons.
Of course they won’t glow during the day!

Here’s an additional in-game screenshot showing how really bad it gets.
Do you even lift, bro?
It could be worse.
You could be stuck with the mace.

As you can see, the tone of the beard is not the same colour as the hair. This only happens with some hair colours, with some others they are the same tone.

Problem is that skipping evidently bugs out certain dungeon NPCs, making it impossible to progress.
Detha in AC path 2 is a good example of this.

Do you even lift, bro?
Just compare them to other Lodestones: there is no logical reason for Charged to be that much harder to get.
They’re not rarer than the rest in quality.
Do you even lift, bro?
Highly annoying to have it “die” and the ability go on cooldown just because you accidentally stepped in a puddle.
Do you even lift, bro?
I accidentally sold my Conqueror’s Pauldron armor skin on my guardian and didn’t realize it until it was too late to get it back. Is there another way I can get the skin again?
Yes.
Create a lvl 1 Guardian with the Conqueror’s.
Buy some white quality shoulders from an Armoursmith NPC.
Use a Transmutation Stone to get the look of the Conqueror’s onto the white shoulders.
Put the resulting shoulders in the bank.
You will now have white Conqueror’s shoulders that are account bound that your main can pick up from the shared bank. You can then Transmute them onto the shoulders your main is wearing.

I hate that Michael Jackson.
During the last few years of his life, M.J was a joke, sure. But you have to go back to when he was awesome; M.J was the king.
He made Thriller. ’nuff said.
Do you even lift, bro?
At this point it would be a very, very bad idea as it would add a lot of gold into the game which means inflation.

Favourite: The Axe
Least Favourite: The Mace… seriously, that one is a joke, isn’t it?
Do you even lift, bro?
You keep saying that, but I don’t agree. If somehow a group of flesh and blood dwarves were found and made as the playable dwarf faction, that would work because armour would serve the same purpose as for all the other playable races.
The current dwarves are more like earth elementals nowadays, and you don’t see them clad in armour.
