Healing Surge is too awesome to switch out. If anything, try to fit Signet of Stamina in there. The extra dodge juice is awesome and the active purges all your Conditions.

I suggest change it to a Leap. The ability as it is now fails to function properly more than half of the times. At least that’s what it feels like it does.
I realize that a 1200 Range Leap is pretty OP, but as a compromise change it to 800 Range or something like that. Whatever the range the Sword mainhand Leap has.

Whirlwind is also a great defensive ability on the Greatsword – while you’re in the spin you Evade everything thrown at you.

I picked Bear and I got a female Bear Shaman help me out at one point in one of the final missions.
However, I have not done that on a character that has not picked Bear so I can’t really tell if that’s why she showed up, or if she always does, even to non-Norns.

Grawl always were an impressionable bunch. While it definitely is a bug, I can’t help but think that would happen eventually if you dropped of a lone Grawl in a group of Quaggan!

I like how after he gets dropped off by his Harpy lover(s), he shamefully limps back to and hides inside the tent at his little camp.

The dagger issue applies to all races, really. Daggers are rather small, and the “skirts” of 99% of all Medium armour tends to hide them.

In the case of bleeding, the “3” indicates how many stacks of Bleed it is.

All first timers. We picked path 4. The giant dog mummy gives us a sound thrashing for maybe one hour+ before we finally manage to beat the thing. Then we’re surpised we didn’t get any end rewards.
Then we ead up on the fact that we picked the hardest end boss in the game and we were only 2/3 done with the dungeon.
Everyone does /cry and we give up.
The end.

Oh lord yes. Portals alone would put them above Warriors.

Nice clichéd comment there, Leo.
Go to the Iron Marshes’ harpy roost area (the broken wall area) and if you’re lucky you will find an active event where an Asura is testing some sort of perfume/pheromones. Let’s just say it ends up being a bit too successful!
Do you even lift, bro?
Yeah Berserker seems to be the only viable set for DPS weapons.
I prefer Knight’s to Berserker’s usually, but I reckon that for a secondary ranged weapon you don’t really need the Toughness like you do on a primary melee weapon.
Do you even lift, bro?
That’s very strange indeed….
I can’t seem to find it either…
But I am 110% sure I read it, and if you test it you will see that Whirlwind Attack’s damage does ramp up quicker – try spinning into a wall next to an enemy and see the pretty numbers pop up real fast.
Do you even lift, bro?
There are like two or three instances in Events out there were male Asura get molested by randy Harpies.
Must be some designer’s little fetish or something, eh?
Do you even lift, bro?
Plus there is no damage buff.
What? Read the recent patch notes: Whirlwind Attack applies it’s damage faster.

It is one of the, if not the only good racial skill in the game. How many Norn players use their Form skills in comparison to Human players using the Hounds?
If anything it should be nerfed through the ground and reduced to a “joke” skill like the rest of the racials. Reduction in cooldown is the least of all things it deserves.

Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me. Profanity should not be bannable just because it is “dirty words”.
Words are just words.
However, if someone uses profanity to harass someone else, I believe that is already a bannable offense if the victim reports it.
Do you even lift, bro?
Exactly.
They’re nothing but speed bumbs.

It functions exactly the same as a dodge roll.
So you can beat up on a boss when he charges his supa-AoE-punch-smash you just Whirlwind through him and not only deal some damage, but you both put some distance between the two of you and you avoid the attack.
Or you can use it offensively and spin through a bunch of melee mobs to reach a ranged/spellcaster in the back.

Another example of very likeable characters are Sieran and Tybalt, but I wanted to focus on Koss since he doesn’t need comedy to be likeable.
Hey! What about Forgal? He’s my favourite of the three! As a Norn Warrior, I felt that my character really grew fond of him and truly saw him as a mentor and role-model. And when he was about die a glorious death so save us all he said something in the nature of
“Keep my Legend alive. Tell my story.”
…I swear that a tear rolled down the cheek of both me and my character! It made the “betrayal” of introducing Trahearne as his replacement taste all the more sour.

Make the mobs worth killing.
Simple as that.
The mobs are nothing but obstacles that currently give you nothing but perhaps [Generic Gray Vendor Trash item], if anything at all. Of course people are going to avoid wasting time and possibly resources (repair costs if you die).
Punishing people and forcing them to grind through these unrewarding mobs is not a proper way to handle the skipping “problem”.
Perma-aggro? Puh-lease.
Do you even lift, bro?
You realize that the damage of Whirlwind is only one part of it; the mobility and total invulnerability during the spin is what makes it great?
Besides, when did you test Whirlwind lately? The latest patch buffed the damage (you’ll do damage faster, so even if you grazing past an enemy you do higher % of the total damage).
Do you even lift, bro?
That’s the problem. Cultural armor of all sorts have these problems with dyes after having been Transmuted to get the stats of another item, and keeping the appearance of the cultural.
Had one set of Norn Heavy T3 that just wouldn’t accept the “Ash” dye. It would take any other shade of gray, but when you used “Ash” on it, it would revert to some blood red dye when you saved it.
I don’t know why…
Do you even lift, bro?
I think you picked the wrong forum by mistake. Try this one.
Do you even lift, bro?
Is it transmuted…?

Mix of different culturals.

Well, to be fair the ability never states whether it summons a Long or Short bow…
Do you even lift, bro?
Berserker’s it is!

Sure it wasn’t a Longbow?
Do you even lift, bro?
Problem with Tengu and Koda is that their faces don’t change regardless of which one you’re looking at. We will be seeing a Tengu area in the world map in the future (devs left a huge spot open for Tengu I between Caledonian Forest and LA, they’re guarded bythe Tengu guard). Nonetheless, I’m excited to see what they’ll do!
Obviously they would add more faces to the playable Tengu.

3) QuagganWho doesn’t want to be a quaggan mesmer, or even a quaggan with a greatsword. <3
I whole-heartedly agree! Quaggans! QUAGGANS!!!

I doubt it. The Krait has this Lovecraftian vibe going for them, so it is probably something a bit more… horrible than a dragon.
Do you even lift, bro?
The Foefire weapons are more trouble than they are worth anyway, with the whole Charged Lodestone fiasco going on.
Do you even lift, bro?
… on my Longbow. I am not otherwise traited or geared for Condition Damage, but I also realize that the Longbow is generous with Burning.
So, given these circumstances would you go for Berserker’s or Rampager’s?
Do you even lift, bro?
If it doesn’t exist as a Guardian ability, you won’t find it. That’s sort of the deal with the Foefire weapons.
Do you even lift, bro?
Seems like an oversight.
Bug Report it?

When leveling up, Signets are really superior to active abilities. For Traits you want to go into Arms and unlock the Trait that gives you 40 Precision per Signet. This is really overpowered at lower levels, can give you far above 100% Critical Hit chance.

The talk of the town are the Tengu for next playable race.

Something that makes me sad, ‘cause they don’t appeal to me whatsoever.

The most difficult part is the beginning, where you need to kill the random ads.
Everyone and their grandma knows that Kholer has infinite aggro range, while his adds have finite. Just pull him back to the area where you crush the two Gargoyle heads and you will get him alone.
Do you even lift, bro?
As I suspected.
Do you even lift, bro?
Doesn’t that mean that the human Risen in Orr could get “jiggy with it” and spare Zhaitan the need to kill people in order to make more “zombies”…?
Do you even lift, bro?
Does it still count if I go in there alone and have the troll smack him around?
Do you even lift, bro?
I don’t think they draw their powers from the Destroyers. They’re just Elementalists who use fire magic. I think their appearance might be caused by self-mutilation and magic, not corruption.
