One major factor to consider is that the (un-Traited) Longbow merely has 900 Range whereas the Rifle has 1200 Range by default.
Yeah that is the sad part about the longbow trait for extra range. You have to spec into it unlike Rifle which makes Longbow unappealing to use sometimes.
The Trait comes with a few hidden bonuses though:
Dual Shot becomes a guaranteed Projectile Finisher instead of the 20% chance by default.
Fan of Fire becomes a Projectile Finisher.
Smoldering Arrow becomes a Projectile Finisher.

The situation here is this: If there were no law against murdering, would you murder people?
… maybe just a couple…?
Just to try it out.

If people don’t “like” the responsibilities that comes with the title, they should’ve spent 100 Gold elsewhere. Far too many people already buy it because they have more Gold than brains as it is.
That being said, I like your idea.
Do you even lift, bro?
No, it does not make you Invulnerable. “Reflect” is a poor choice of words too, because it doesn’t technically reflect any damage at all; it damages anyone attacking you for a set amount of damage based on your Power.

See, the loose thread that unravels your entire theory is T6 materials are plentiful in comparison to stuff like Lodestones and Precursors. There’s always going to be a competitive market for sellers of T6 materials. The price might go up a few silvers, but it’ll never get as bad as Precursors or Charged Lodestones, mark my words.

Oh please. Only the top offenders were banned according to Anet’s replies here on the forums. Those were players who used the exploit not ten times, not a hundred times, but thousands of times.
So, what you (and Anet, effectively) are saying is… exploit, but dont over exploit?
I can only assume that (lesser) proverbial slaps on the wrists were given to those doing it hundreds of times. You can’t expect them to lay the smackdown on every Joe Schmo that tried it though, I suppose.

What, have you no sense of style? Look how dashing and bold he looks!
Anyhow, at release you could transmute Cultural sets onto characters of other races; but they were quick to change it so all the Cultural sets now have a race requirement to be worn. Judging by that, you won’t see it on player Asuras, as previously mentioned.

What is interesting with this Trait is the following:
The F1 Burst ability of the Hammer will apply it’s AoE stun before it applies it’s damage; so this ability always gets the 50% crit bonus against whatever it hits, as long as the target doesn’t have Defiant/Stability. Run with at least 50% crit chance and you’ll have 100% crit chance with Earthshaker!
Nice I’m gonna go try this now, I must be pretty close to 50% crit with fury
If you pick up the Merciless Hammer it also gets permanent 25% damage increase due to all the targets being automatically stunned before the damage drops on them.

Necromancer is the second worst Profession right now, second only to the Engineer.
Stupid/weak pets, handicapped by Condition stacking caps, Fear nerf and so on.

It also has a lot of different Traitable functions:
Warriors can crash into people and damage them.
Guardians can heal everyone around them when dodging.
Thieves can drop those hurty thingies that slow enemies down.
Etc etc.

You’ll never wear it on your Asura, trust me.

This game isn’t about stats. It is about skins. That alone should make most players ECSTATIC. Instead people are on here whining over someone having a weapon that they can’t easily get, that functions exactly the same as a 2 gold epic they bought off the ahouse.
Then why are you crying over T6 materials?
Just because you were lucky with Precursors you don’t want other people to get them. I doubt we’d hear you moan about this if you didn’t have one.

The only reasons to do Story mode are:
a To experience the story
b To unlock Exploration mode.

I don’t mind the general theme of Orr.
I quite like it.
What I can’t stand is all the CC-spam from the enemies.
Do you even lift, bro?
Ever played dota?
Ever heard of stun break>stability?
Honesty, at least this game provides an answer to stun. Also Brute risen / abominations hav an obvious tell and timing.
Because all the Stability abilities can be used as frequently as the enemies spam CC, right?
Oh wait.
Stability-granting abilities have huuuuge cooldowns!
Do you even lift, bro?
It is no fun. That is my main gripe, it is no fun. Playing vidja games are supposed to be fun. In Orr, you might as well have a burly fellow named Bubba come in and snatch your keyboard from you for a couple of seconds every 10-15 seconds.
Do you even lift, bro?
The difference a single Guardian brings to a party is huge.
No other class has such an impact.
As a Warrior I can just look on in envy.
Do you even lift, bro?
Has nothing to do with “endgame” genius. It’s about being able to even get things done ….nothing about the temples is designed for solo play. The point is no one is around to even retake them.
That’s the gripe. Either needs a nerf or a reason to bring others back.
You’re missing his rather sarcastic point. These areas are supposed to be the end-game, but due to the constant CC spam and general annoyance of them, they’re dead.
No-ones happy with the “end-game” as it is.

Try fighting a couple of those Risen with anchors that pull you to them.
Try fighting said Risen with the other type of Risen that push you away from them.
You’ll feel like the square in a game of Pong!

Okay then. While we’re at it, I would like to know if using Karma Boosters to get extra Karma is considered an exploit.
Do you even lift, bro?
It is Anet’s idea of a challenging end-game.
Get used to it…
I think of far more “Challenging” mechanics than stunlock, and if you’re going to sit there, and tell me an entire company full of people can’t think of new mechanics to challenge people. Then I am going to say that entire company needs to be fired.
Naw, just the guy(s) in charge of the three Orrian areas
Seriously though, the sorry state of these maps have been brought up again and again by a lot of people, yours truly included. Time after time our complaints have fallen on deaf ears. I can’t recall a single one having a red reply to them.

REVIVE Orb.
What other intended use could it have other than to REVIVE you?
I don’t want to come off as a troll, but they banned people for crafting Snowflake Jewelry and salvaging them.
What other intended use did they have for Snowflakes than crafting? What uses for salvage kits besides salvaging?
So I’m wondering whether or not this is an exploit too.
/facedesk
REVIVE orbs are intended to REVIVE you.
Snowflake Jewelery were NOT intended to allow you to GAIN free Ectoplasm Orbs.
How you can even being to draw a comparison is beyond me.

It is most certainly a class issue.

I ask you again:
How is using a Gem Store item for it’s intended purpose an possible exploit?
Do you even lift, bro?
It becomes more complex.
Starts with one stat.
Then gets up to two stats.
Then three stats with a wide range of combos at lvl70-80.
Do you even lift, bro?
Not sure if serious…
Why would it be?

Coddler’s Cove.
Pink baby Quaggans!

Signet of Rage and Warbanner are the only things you’ll ever need. Warbanner is excellent for those “Oh shi-” situations in dungeons. Signet of Rage is good for soloing because of the awesome active (the passive effect is rather crap).
Do you even lift, bro?
Oh, come now. Cleansing of Orr doesn’t count. Nor does any of the other deus ex machinas he conveniently pulls out of his butt on a regular basis. This happens when he really tries to accomplish something without a convenient miracle from the writers:
Do you even lift, bro?
Just like the awesome Bear/Wolf/Snow leopard/Raven clothes NPC Norns wear, I fear this too is unavailable to players.

Well, it is still possible that Orr sunk by some other force and then Zhaitan swooped in and raised the dead.

lol, no you cannot crit on a dragon. logically how can a small ant sized human possibly deal critical dmg to a scale armored dragon.
Have you ever been stung by a bee or something? I assure you, size doesn’t matter!
Do you even lift, bro?
Oh, how cute of you, being condescending like that.
Do you even lift, bro?
I don’t really get why people say Dredge are “impossible” or even “hard”. They go squish just like everything else when I smack them around with my weapon of choice.
Do you even lift, bro?
If you are an Engineer, I would definitely go for it. That armour alone makes me want to change the race of my Charr Engineer to Asura.
Ranger or Thief though? Not so much…
P. kitten some decent colours, man! Your screenshot makes it look a lot worse than it actually is because of the colours.
Do you even lift, bro?
I don’t get Warriors using HB outside of PvE.
It is just sooo easy to avoid and counter.
Do you even lift, bro?
Any reasonable buff is pointless on it own. Berserkers Power and Heightened Focus needs to be reviewed otherwise you won’t use it anyway since you screw your HB dps
No disrespect, but eff you mate.
Leave those as it is, but make the F1 abilities worth using sounds much better than “reviewing” (read: nerf) those two Traits.
