Had a discussion in wvw. Zerging around. One fight we had about 20 enemies downed. Boom, tons rally.

People blame up levels. I bring up necro downed HP. No one knew. It is now a running joke when people rally. “I rallied, necro downed!” “15 enemies rallied! Which necro died?”

I will…. I don’t know what I will do if they fix this… tell my necros they don’t have to run full pvt anymore? I still will. I enjoy the 31k health when hearding cats, I mean commanding.

I would like to thank the 8 TC that let me and another mesmer roll them in a 2v8 outside of SM last night. In all fairness, we do have the exact same characters (makeover kit 4tw) armor set, colors, spec and weapons.

Yes I /laughed at you many times. No I do not care about your feelings. It was a challenge at least. Tip for future mesmer fights, look for the weapon stacks and place targets on the correct mesmers.

Better be a 1080p stream, not the poverty 720p mindtrick streams. I’m too lazy to stream. Hell, I’m too lazy to command anymore! Will sub for a shout out! Lol

I wanted BG and jq. All you can do is try to make the best of it. TW is always looking for GvG, Pryapple and Indo will steal all the glory, tons of us still run small roam groups late NA/early oceanic. Be careful of HIRE, Lorthos will pro use you candy inside the van but don’t be fooled! NA prime is going to be a nightmare, but push the 2v1 when you can.

Let’s hope we can get a few good fights, SoS militia is second to none! I miss you guys.

Coming from a necro main and a mesmer alt, you should never beat a decent shatter mesmer as a power spec. What are you going to do to keep me in place? Blink,decoy, mirror images, mass invis, chaos armor, phase retreat (through chaos storm for more armor). All while chain shattering and doing damage. There is nothing you can do, unless you catch me with my utilities on CD, my weapon swap on CD, my sword out with 2 and F4 skills all on or I am just totally, 100% terrible.

Now, condi damage necro and catch me w/o lemongrass or melandru runes and I’m screwed. Make me blow my blink and then load the bleeds. Don’t make me run before I use blink or I will get away.

If I run phantasm, well that build is op in 1v1 against everyone. And I’ll put 3 of them on you and go to sleep.

Triple bounce bleed would chew you apart too. 15-20 stacks of bleeds hitting for 115 sting a little, but a condi necro could give it a decent chance if you can pick the real mes quickly.

All of the above is relating to WvW. I don’t sPvP but I assume it would be similar there.

I used 2 mil karma on boxes when they came out. I have like 1.6mil again. I do too much WvW apparently.

That’s because that first BG win was purely a combination of luck, dedication, and complacence of JQ, not because BG has more coverage. Just like JQ’s first win against SoS I guess:) The effect you talk about only happens when the server has the coverage to dominate like SoR does right now.

In the past 2 weeks there have been an increase in queue times. Not because we are stacked (all full servers are), but because of the morale boost of winning pulled people back to WvW.

SoR will fall out of #1 eventually. 3 weeks or 10, it will happen.

Sorry, I did not claim BG won our first match because of skill, did I? If you paid attention to that first BG win at all you’d know that we won because our guilds pulled a big push the last minute when JQ slacked off, you can still find posts from JQ players that also admit it. And right after that match JQ came back with a vengeance and dominated 4 weeks in a roll.

This is a complete different situation with SoR’s current wining streak, you gained a guild that helps you to dominate coverage wise, that’s why your server morale is high and more players are coming out. This is also what happened to BG in our second and third win until SoR got more coverage.

We win, not stacked. You win, stacked. Mystery of the universe solved.

All 3 servers are strong. Fighting another one would bore me to death.

Commanding ppl not on team speak is like hearding cats….

Come run with me if you want feints, pincers, engulfs ect… I only do it when needed (out manned) and I am always in contact with at least 4 commanders (most on other maps).

SoR mega zergs. Tsym runs 80 deep, TW is terrible, BG is a black hole, FEAR hacks, JQ is dead, IRON runs from all fights, ATM is free bags, MERC is the best, Indo shares glory…. And the list of pure crap goes on and on.

Here is the truth, I am the best. Mindtrick is my old lady, Lorthos is nothing without me and all of the glory Indo steals is belong to me.

Triple bounce staff bleeds. Undead runes. Use veggie pizza. Create 3 clones, auto attack to 20+ stacks of bleeds.

Really fun when roaming in WvW, not sure about PvE. The bounces will add quite a bit of utility to your team at least, great bleed/burning/vuln if you are the only condi damage in the group.

Basically, I would spend about 200g (not including the precursor) and I would be done. I have almost everything else done. A week or so to finish. I suck and hate map completion lol.

War, when you go into DS and use 1 skill, does it blast fire like you are throwing the dagger?

So…. I was never going to do a legendary. I am a WvW player at heart, but I decided to take the plunge and need some help on choice. Keep this in mind, my necro is a PVT commander only. My staff is out 90% of the time. I am built for survival, not damage. I don’t care about what weapon is better for whatever. Pure looks. Pref a main hand.

Bifrost is a no go. I don’t like it.

Scepter… Ehhhhh I like it, but I don’t run condi, ever but could.

Dagger, I run dagger now, and love the look of incinerator but I see theme everywhere.

Frostfang…. I know dagger is better, but I’m leaning towards it. It is rare I see it.

So, do you or any necros you know have Axe and/or dagger? I would love to see the dagger auto attack chain as well as the Axe 1 and 2 skills in person or a video. Pls let me know what you think and or suggestions.

I was flipping it before the tic for points. It was funny to see the red circles from below. I did run through it once, it stung. Then we just used a portal some time later.

Jq was being mean and hitting our Tower so I couldn’t stay for ur push down. Was a really fun day commanding. SM flipped like 12 times in that 1 hour span.

If I could get 50 dedicated people, I would love to xfer to a lower “tier” EU server for free. I think it would be a blast, I don’t think I can convince anyone to go with me

I have auto turned off for everything (ranger sword, anyone who has, gets it) so I never noticed. I spam 1 all the time, but It should be fixed.

Yes there are ways around it, but it is a really minor change…

You missed key point…what if server A and server B team up against server C, ie 110 vs 30?

2 things happen. You man Siege and stay inside towers (boring as fk) or you let them have it. Move to another bl. One side wipes the other, side that lost QQ hits side that won on the other side of the map and they fight away from your lands

You take back your stuff and push a side or d up. There is no way a 50 and 60 man zerg will hit the same tower and the same time and ignored each other.

BG let sor and jq fight and wiped both over and over inside the lords room of blue keep in EB. Night after night.

You will be out manned, no repairs. Die lots<3

2v1 is part of the game. I start 2v1 on BG in eternal every night. I don’t actually know any JQ, nor do I communicate with them. Starting a 2v1 is easy, to stop it, you need enough people to push 1 side off your lands and hold them off. They will do the rest.

Tsym moved to SOR to kill everyone from SOS who bandwagoned off and called them bad words and blamed them for SOS falling apart. I don’t find that to be bandwagoning. At least, that was my impression of why they moved =3

Most of us wanted bigger fights. I only want to kill AGG. I don’t know why either, I honestly dont even known anyone in AGG, I just feel the urge.

I harbor no ill will towards anyone else. Servers rise, servers fall. I have many friends in merc, few in ND, few in icoa. anyone who can make me work while commanding is great.

As for 2v1 in EB, blue is the dumbest keep to defend(you can treb outer and inner from bravost and nothing can hit the trebs is placed correctly). But forcing a 2v1 is easy as fk. Read map, wipe enemy zerg at hylek, ogre or dredge and don’t push into the enemy you wiped. Port back, attack other side. 2v1, done. Dem pugs don’t like to wipe over and over., so they hit the easy target.

I love my RRR for roaming, gs and sword/torch (Apoth). I love mobility. I will never give up the GS. Swoop, block, stun and evade on 1 attack is just nasty. I don’t see a need to chill people for the pet to hit. Then roaming community seems to be 80% thief and they will stand in melee until death like kitten Good mesmers still make me angry, but very few of them around.

2 sigils of Geo (bleed on swap) on GS and torch + gs 2 bleeds work out fine and give me options to disengage when needed. I just never really enjoyed Axe.

I keep meaning to stream my ranger again, was always fun roaming, but get stuck commanding too much anymore. Will watch.

I have tried everything, and I always seem to go back to sword/torch and GS. I just really, really love the mobility of a GS. Sigil of geo on GS and torch and weapon swap lots. Always solo/small ops in wvw so mobility is more useful to me than Axe.

Apoth gear. If you find you need more mobility, try it.

Easy fix: Give my dagger a frontal cleave, make wells cripple, 1 sec per pulse.

Scepter to 1200 range (attack and skills)
Axe 900 range, take off vuln, 3 skill chain, attack, attack, boon strip (just 1)
Staff a melee cleave weapon (think scythe) damage equal to guardian staff, but not the range. Undecided to have chain attacks or skills added to 1 attack. Marks to 600 range.

Staff 3 3 second field of chill, poison on trigger.

Staff 5 I dislike fear, I wanna see a pull to center of mark and 1 sec immobilize at end of pull. (think mesmer underwater swirly thing)

Let’s forget traits for now. Too much to list.

Lets do something different for once. Why is the staff always ranged? Let’s break a mold for once. Buffs condi range, more control of boons with Axe, give a valid melee option for the more tanky necros with staff.

Chill/weakness/cripple on wells on top of current benefits? Yup! Let me control my zone! Sacrifice some range to give me legit control of an area (melee range, 600 for marks, 900 for wells when traited). We have DS to help mitigate (I would change ds too, but let’s just use it for what went wants for now, a extra health bar).

I want people to see a necro and go “do I have my condi removal on? If not, I’m not getting away! He can control an area”. The skill cap will still be really high too.

Uhh no, there was no ballistas in sight and I wasn’t actively being hit by siege. Also please tell me where you would even place a ballista outside that would those arrow carts, nice try though. This was a number that kept going up and finally stopped at 20k before the siege was gone. It was a cumulative hit ability, not ballista. And it was done to every cart/cannon on that wall so this wasn’t a random occurrence.

A few mesmers using the broken GS auto attack that magically hits all siege by just hitting the door and/or wall.

As for the 5k supply, less than 2 hours with 15 people. About 30 mins with a few full keeps.

I do not pay for siege. I use about 20 omegas per week just for laughs, never once have I spent money on a golem. 100 alpha donations a week isn’t unheard of. You need to give your pugs more kisses.

Supreme Commander A L T S, the one true Lord and savior looked upon the land you mere mortals call EB. I saw a T3 SM and heard the prayers of the loyal SoS followers. I gifted upon them the means to take the castle in my name.

I am the Alpha and Omega (golems) the beginning and the end of keeps. It was hardly my greatest work, only 8 omegas, but I am proud. I didn’t even take part due to crashing when we got to the wall.

I think we should go back a little on the basics and ask ….

What is a necromancer? For example, Mesmer’s clearly show its unique characteristics in gw2 especially the skills that they use…. warriors and guardians also show its characteristics…

So wat could we say about Necromencer in gw2 thats unique to other classes besides holding an axe and trying to pretend tat we are a full melee class burst damage charactor~

Is this the real reason why we chose to play necromancer..? Just too hold a axe and go to a hybrid build to pretend we are warriors?^^~~~ Like i said above, the only reason we are going to a hybrid build is because half of our traits and minion build skills are partially broke~and the only option is going in to hybrid build just to catch up with other classes

An Axe? Seriously? You are using an Axe? No wonder. Axe is not a DPS weapon. Neither is the staff. I love using a dagger and am happy with it.

Can I out dps a zerker warrior? No. Can I out DPS a full support guardian? In my sleep.

You rolled a necro with a preconceived notion of what it should be, and it isn’t what you expected. It happens, that is life. I like the option to go caster or melee. You don’t apparently. I hope they don’t make us into what you want, I would retire my necro if they did.

What you want isn’t what everyone wants, except the bug fixes.
