all prof’s are easy to learn. but some of them are hard to master. it’s called skill cap. i can’t say which one has high skill cap, but I can say which one hasnt it:
any bunker
any AI based
any condi spam
any prof. based on passive defense (or should I merge this point with “bunker” one?)
I am playing as full bers offense ele, but ele doesn’t look like hard prof for me. In other hand I can say which builds supposed to be high skill capped:
single target
balanced or offensive build (bers/valk/caval/cele)
active dmg mitigation i.e. dodge/cc/blind/interrupts
no AI
maybe forgot something to add, to qualify this list you can make build in any prof you like.
when they nerf all condi bunkers they ll become free to do with DS whatever they want.

there are 3 GM traits in his list. and all this GM traits from 1 line. lol
after wardrobe system and “legendaries” for all char’s, the value of legend’s drops a lot. yes, people still have stats on-fly, buy that’s definitely not enough.
if devs add sigil on-fly feature, this will be one more reason to have legendary, not just skin. like double inci/bolt .

Lucky you…. My team arena queue is 5-10 min. (Europe server, prime time). I wasn’t able to start solo arena yet (after patch), because I stop queue after 15 mins. I dont speak for majority, but for me it isn’t funn at all to spend 60% of time waiting for a game…

It’s not too bad because the build is rare, but, honestly, the trait shouldn’t exist in the first place.
My advice: Make the threshold 75 percent but make it only reduce condition durations by 50 percent.

well, now im totally confused. why do you link last year patch notes? we are talking about this patch and in this patch they make signet same as pve version.
so they buffed signet by 17%. that’s not game breaking, coz you need to cast something to be healed, this is not passive like warrior’s version.

rune of strength & battle sigil > scholar. at least for ele, long might uptime worse it more than scholar
I have 4 +10% dmg
with scholar: 1,1*1,1*1,1*1,1*1,1*= 1,61 dmg modifier
with strength: 1,1*1,1*1,1*1,1*1,07= 1,56 dmg modifier
that not so much dmg loss coz you have much longer might uptime and might stacking is rly easy.
You can also flip on the trading post without doing anything else. You can buy legendaries off of the trading post.
that exactly what im doing now. that’s so funny how “legendary” this weapons because im gonna buy all mats except wvw/world map.
and to clarify we are not asking for legendary, we want precursor reward track.
If you really want to master sPvP you will eventually have to play all professions in order to learn how to counter every single one of them.

this new patch brings a good choice for sigils, at least in 1 build I wish I could use all those new shiny sigils.

I can’t say much about Ele, coz pvp flooded with PvErs and i did not fought against good PvPer yet.
I don’t think ele are viable in meta, but we are a bit stronger due to change of runes/sigils.
in other way I must admit that there is a slight possibility that ele got a build diversity.

Like in mmofps/counter strike/bf/cod/dota/etc
fx.
you are pressing enter and type : z1
script deletes this z1 and types “need help mid” and then send it to chat.
so im gonna ask,
will you use it? do you wanna it?
this script saves a lot of time and provides better team coordination and improves overall team play

there is no build diversity in wow. each class has only 1 viable spec and build. some classes on top, some on bottom of food chain. and blizzard like to nerf top classes into the ground and makes bottom classes like kings. oh yeah, dont forget about rogues that are viable in any patch.

By reading the tooltip in the PvP build interface, it says that attributes are normalized in pvp.

well, he is right. market was balanced coz dyes constantly drops, now we dont have any source of dyes except laurels and one day duplicated dyes gone. prices will rise. but i think it will happen after 1-2 monthes.
check TP, there are only 17k dyes. for market this is nothing. if one player want to full his dyes table he needs ~400 of them. everyday new ppl join gw2. if I have gold ill spend it all to invest into dyes.
Here’s a tip for new players: if you are losing, it is not your fault and this is the time to rage on your teammates. I recommend insults aimed at how much of a PvE hero someone is and instructing people to go back to the hotjoins.
Also, at the beginning of the match, let everyone know how boss you are and that if they don’t carry, you will afk.

Some things might be a little over the top, but I don’t even think condis are an issue from my most recent play-throughs. You can just CC and burst these condi specs down before their condis kill you.
