How about turning all legendary weapons into exotic weapons. Then you upgrade component will decide what weapon is better.
This is better because grinding for upgrade component will give you more items you can actually use.

I completely agree with up scaling drops/chests in lower lvl areas hands down as an 80 running around Queensdale with a friends new alt or something I want to be rewarded with items I could really use or scrap from mats.
The waypoint issue I wouldn’t go as far as free, but scale it to have a set cost based on distance from said waypoint and the lvl range of that area or even make it like the cities as long as you’re in the area its free, but to port there thats when you’ll pay.
Epic skins for Engineer kits and/or turrets: it doesn’t matter how sick my pistols look when I’m all most always running around with my grenades and flamethrower I’d just like a way to look a tad awesome when using said skills.
Also since launch its been irking me… where oh where are the 2h axes?
I would and it already cost set on distance. I am tired of spending 3s going from Malchor’s leap to Lion’s Arch. Map travel in GW1 was free, it should be in gw2. I too am tired of the ridiculous amount of gold sinks. If they got rid of the fee on the waypoints the rest would be tolerable.
Going to Lion’s Arch or any of the other cities is free.
Another option would be to have one “Endless Quests Giver” in a zone. You unlock it by finishing all the Hearts once. The “Endless Quests Giver” will then give you your first unique quest chain. Each part of the chain will look like a small event on the map.
Each Endless Quest chain will based on a overall goal. But the different combinations to reach the goal will change every time you get a new endless quest.

*treasure quest chain
*Find lost items chain
I do like the idéa to be able to Replay hearts but I can’t agree with new stuff to do once you have compleated a heart.
I am a player who want’s to compleate the whole zone before I continue (Atleast everything I know of), and some things can be just to much if I had to stay in one place and do one single hear until I have compleated the “delivery/Bounty/Treasure/Find Item guests”.
What I would like would be another simple reward with a few coins, XP and Karma (Not as good as an event) when you have finnished the heart once again.
It won’t count for any achievement or should not make anyone choose this as an option to farm, more like a ’Well if I am here doing this again I could get a little extra for it".

These would be Endless quests like in Elder Scrolls. So you won’t have to worry about completing them. Each part of a endless quest will randomly generate, creating a new unique quest.
Towns and Renown Hearts
After filling a heart the player can no-longer do any of the heart tasks. None of the Heart tasks are every completely really finished because you can see what’s wrong with the area.
Solution: Let us replay Hearts
Once the karma vendor is unlocked, there is nothing I want from many of them.
Solution: Add some karma items for higher level players.
Filling Hearts could unlock more than just Karma Vendors.
*Collector NPC: Collector NPC’s have a list of items that they will make for you, if you have the mats they want. (are in GW)
*Bounty quest givers: Spawns a enemy to find and kill for the reward.

These would work like endless quests in ES.
This is a problem with all the major cities, really. I noticed the same thing in LA, where there’s this fighting ring or whatever, but there’s no way to interact with it (even though it’s a POI, for some reason). Then a number of NPCs in the Black Citadel that are looking for a book and a ghost at a dig site, but there’s no way to find either of them yourself, nor is there any sort of quest or event for it.
It kinda feels like Anet just sort of put out the barebones game to get it out the door, with the intention of adding actual interactive features to the cities a year or two down the road.
The cities do look unfinished but with lots of signs that AN has plans for them.
More L80s need to start doing their daily in low level zones.
Just go to the beginner areas to finish your daily.
I think there should be no legendary weapons.
Legendary upgraded components could then be applied to any exotic.
I’m assuming that this is because the percentage is based on the number of files but I would prefer if it was based on the actual size of the patch.
I think the game installs the files as it is downloading the patch.
Also, In the swamp you have to let the tortured spirits die.
You have to read book the book in the swamp and have the two npc’s by the tent create the portal.

I would like to see whale hunts where we help Quaggan go on icelandic style whaling events. Icelandic whaling involves herding whales to a beach them and kill them for food.
I disagree that avatars are an extension of the player. It’s more like cosplay.

Gathering tools:
My suggestion is to color code the gathering tools in the icons. So I can tell if it’s copper, iron or ect. Without having to mouse over the gathering tool.
Or, change gathering tools so it’s based on your level. And the lost durability will change based on how much your downgraded.
Soulbound:
We should be able to salvage soulbound items (weapons, armor, rings).
i’ve spotted a bunch of them throughout halloween, didn’t even know there were devs in fort aspenwood :P
you have to keep in mind that no matter how big ANet is, they’re still spread throughout dozens of servers.
so to see a specific dev, you have to be on the same server as him, at the same time as him, and on the same map as him, on the same area of the map, and spot his dev tag on his name. and they might not even be using the tag (i’ve heard one or two of them mentioning they like to go undercover every now and then, to hear what people have to say).
that’s a lot of variables to spot one in what, 100 guys?

The skins are not legendary weapon, so why make them so rare? They should have been a 1 of 5 chance of getting one in the BLC.
If skins last to the 5th, then increase the drop rate to 1 out of 5. And give people who already spent more than $20 some free keys.
Will halloween item skins be this year only? An official answer would be nice.

Basic economics fail. Fixing pricing in legitimate markets in such a way that demand exceeds supply will cause the creation of unregulated illegitimate markets.
That is, people will stop selling on the TP and negotiate it privately through mail trades, leading to trade spam and opportunities for fraud.
Someone wants to rip someone else out of 50g.
I thought all of the events associated were fine except for the clock tower, which had the difficulty scaled way too high for what is supposed to be a fun holiday event.
However, I felt that the drop rate on the Hallowe’en goodies was extremely bad and very disappointing. It’s led to profiteering by people who are selling the extremely rare skins for 50+ gold now. I’m not against capitalism but I felt that this was supposed to be a fun event to do on a lark and get a couple of items to remember it by. It doesn’t seem appropriate to turn it into a gold grab by lucky players.

Areananet, encouraging your customers gamble real money for skins is wrong and illegal in many places this game is played.
Everything of value in BLC should be available individually in the gem shop.
every single skin in BLC is selling in the trading post since the begining of the event. You can buy gems and trade for gold and buy then if you actually want to use gems to buy the skin.

Areananet is not selling what’s in the TP. They are advertising and selling them in BLC.
Also the skins are over priced in the TP and will only go up.

Everyone should be pissy about having to gamble for skins in BLC. Skins should be sold separately in the gem store or as a reward for events.
I like it now with the Mad King emblem on it. They should just make it so players can walk on it.

The Clocktower is easier if you use the Mouse for movement.
Arenanet gambling is illegal in many places in the world! Using real money to buy chests for a slim chance to win skins is gambling!
Next time just make the skins buyable in the gem shop or loot from events/puzzles.
I spent some money to buy some gems for town clothing/armor. What was left of the gems I spent on keys that I will not buy again with real money.

Sense some of the skins like the Greatsaw are not halloween themed. AN should make it available in black lion chests longer, maybe though the holidays. This may also bring in extra revenue after Halloween event.
AreanaNet needs to add a query system to the dungeons.
*With the ability to chose between story mode or explorer mode.
- Join dungeon query anywhere in World.
*When query is filled you are Teleported to the waypoint in the dungeon.
Without query system I don’t have a time to form a party to play dungeons.

-Pet vs Pet- = I think that is being planned in LA.
-Level Scaling- = I like it because i can replay zones and it still be challenging. AN should find more ways to encourage high level players to play in low level zones.
-Fishing- = I think that’s being planned too because I see many NPC fishing.
-Mining/Chopping/Gathering leveling- = The problem is to many tools in our inventory.

I made a “Valkyrie Rascal Mask” in the mystic forge from 4 pirate outfit pieces. It would look really cool if it wasn’t the stupid face straps.
I suggest AN remove some of the face straps from some of the masks. It just looks cooler when the mask actually looks like it’s part of the face.
How about the making invisible bag items invisible to the mystic forge and other crafting or NPC windows.
I tested the “Candy-Powered Matter Meter” in a small graveyard, in a swamp in Kessex hills. IT made dark looking energy come out of the ground. After a few people did the same. Card corn monsters spawned and attacked us.

Tier 3 then medium is way too expensive for most people. AN should drop it the price to 3-5g each and add more skins.

I suggest AN should add a “Town Clothing Collectibles” section, like the bank collectables.
