Last night I became stuck after using LF (first time it happened in a while) i can get rid of this by using Burning Retreat but it was on cooldown.
Also since Closed Beta i have an issue where everytime i would build something in WvW my Ele would get stuck for 5-15 secs after the siege has been built. Of course on other characters i can just weapon swap to break it but changing attunements doesn’t count.
Please, no more classes with pets or clones since Arenanet can’t make them work correctly.
Anyway, probably a heavy armor fighter will be the next class since we only have two. Maybe a sort of Dreadknight, a warrior with curses to weaken the enemies and that can use fear.
Geez. What is it with people wanting another heavy proffesion? The game does not need anymore.
I would love an option in the crafting menu for a check box to “show locked skins”
Allow Rangers to use Preparations instead of a Pet!
This game needs more item tiers to be more competitive with the current market.
GW2 is a “dumbed down” version of GW1. Don’t expect anything of the GW1 complexity level. Games like Lineage 2 until chronicle 4/5 or GW1 within first 3-4 years are gone and won’t be coming back. Why? Nowadays, you create games for the greatest audience possible, hence childish dialogues/living story of GW2, a few classes without subclasses/double class system and so on.
I wish it was here, again, but let’s be honest. Those games are gone now, I won’t be expecting them to come back, unless we see the actual Lineage 3 ( no the Diablo 3-esque sequel to Lineage 1. Well, ArcheAge looks close too, as it was created by the Lineage 2 devs.
Still, I wouldn’t be too hopeful for those things to return, mate.

It’s been a while since I submitted new ideas for the game – but I figured I’d spend my evening coming up with weapon ideas for the ele. The first one is going to be for dual-pistols.
Now, I’ll admit that my idea has one drawback – it really only works if you’re dual-wielding pistols. So.. take that for what you will.
Anyways;
Elementalist Pistols;
Archetype: Caster Gun (think ‘FFX-2 Gun Mage’).
Quick info: All skills are 900 range by default unless otherwise specified. If wearing two pistols, all skills will animate with BOTH pistols, not just one.

What is a personal guild bank?
Storage mules can hold exotic equipment that has been used by another character?
How many more bag slots can you buy? I thought it was just 1 more?
Create a guild for yourself only and use the guild bank for extra bank space.

The patch has good and points to it but the game still has issues which Anet repeatedly ignores..
Ele needs to have at least 1sec charge time on all their weapon skills and increase all the weapon cool-downs by half to make them on par with the other professions.
In some ways I think this is like EA’s move into mobile. Telling their customers “The new dungeon keeper wasn’t made for you, it was made for a new generation of fans”. Clearly, gw2 was not made to appease the people who played gw1. Maybe at one point that was the intention, but then some committee got ahold of it and now it’s just one big hot mess.
Guild Wars had a well established niche crowd of gamers it had catered too and it did it extremely well but unfortunately the niche crowd wasn’t desirable.
Can you believe they made that nerf for “build diversity” purposes?
It’s like they never played their own game.
They do play the game, they just do not play Elementalist. Heh.
I’ll be logging in on patch day just to have a go at this. Was the biggest gripe i had with the game in regards to visual gear customisation.

I’d play a male if it had skimpy clothing but in a lot of MMO males are always an after thought to armour design.
I am really sick of all these stripper light armors for females. We need something less revealing, classy and yet sexy at the same time like Anise’s armor.
I would love to see my Ele run around in Victorian Gothic clothing. Oh my god nerdgasm.

The patch notes are clearly a fake. This was posted by the devs on the balance forums:
I’ll say that internally staff Ele has turned out to be strong, scary strong against condi meta. The glass cannon specs seem to be unchanged but the tankier dps specs have seen substantial improvements. Enough? Arguable. At least ele will now bring the cleanse support it has needed. Will the Signet of Resto change be enough to make it super strong? Arguable, but it’s definitely a viable option now. Do you want to lose the cleanse from ether renewal? Probably not.. but dagger specs see a nice sustain boost from using RS. Additionally, our changes has brought a new role to ele
and it’s one hell of a role! I’m sure plenty of people will have tons of fun messing around with what they can do on ele now.
These patch notes show nothing for staff. Nothing for ‘support condi cleanse’.
They’re bogus.
I’m interested in what this new role will be, though i do not have high hopes.
They could merge windborne dagger, Blasting Staff and Vigorous Sceptor into 1 trait and free up 2 spots for new traits. Which could break to Ele dependency on cantrips and open up build variety.

I’m all for Ele buffs but these buffs may be a tad overboard.
I’ll admit that I didn’t care enough about the other classes to go through and read word for word what was in their notes so I don’t know if this is comparable to their balance but honestly…those aura changes though.

Achievement Points are the equivalent to WoW Gear score so no. It would cause a huge catastrophe in the community.
Anything to stop them from recoloring armor. I’d be happy with a chippendale outfit for my male humans =3
Haha. I know what you mean, i reduced my interface to small so its not as much of an eye sore as before. I’d love for an auto close after 5 secs or something.

I’d have to say Elementalist and Ranger are in dire need of reworking.
Increase base HP (15k like mesmer).
Weapon swap button out of combat.
Attunement cooldowns – flat 10 seconds and no further reduction by Arcana.What a terrible suggestion on increasing attunement cooldowns. What game do you play?
I want arcana to affect up to 30 points again, so that now, people who invest up to 30 points are at 6-8 seconds.
I’d like there to be a grandmaster aclarity trait which decreased all weapon skill cooldowns.
Past that, why not fix our high CD utilities.

Sometime im using lightning flash to get out of frozen block(after frozen timeout) or move to some point ,it’s stuck until im using another movement skill.Devs plz check this ,im playing s/d and when rtl is in CD ,im stuck for 40s .
Happens to me all the time, Lightning Flash, Ride the Lightning and Burning Retreat. To get out of this i have to use them again to force myself out, not a nice bug when you are in the middle of a zerg lol

Signet Passive: Gain quickness when you swap attunement.
Signet Active: Recharge all your attunements.This is meant to be a new Elite that we are getting on March 18th though until confirmed it is just rumour now

Personally i think it would be another below average Elite.
Though this depends on:1) Quickness duration
2) Quickness ICD
3) Skill cool downI do think that the active is VERY poor. With that as the active the skill better be on like a 20second cool down. Because compared to some of the others that is seriously poor
1) Quickness duration – 1 sec
2) Quickness ICD – 30 sec
3) Skill cool down – 180 cooldown
Hopefully we will see this soon and maybe perhaps equipment templates too.
I hope they wont be making any more games.
After all this time in BugWars2 it feels like they are stealing our money.I’ve yet to see a 60$ game that got updates and bugfixes in such a frequent manner as GW2 did
Bug fixes? Took them a year and a half to actually fix half of the bugs.
