A start would be to remove the positional requirement on short bow 1 bleed.
This is how it should be. Hopefully it sticks.
If this means 1 out of every 2 players isn’t a warrior or Mesmer I’m all for it….

Can you at least expand on the patch commentary where ‘rangers have a lot of things coming’ even if it’s at a very high level? We’ve waited a year. Not sure another 6 months is fair with no feedback whatsoever…

From what I’ve seen of GW2 players is that those that do most of the complaining are those that go berserker with no cleanse, no utility—all damage OMG DAMAGE. nd the complain when they get beat by someone that uses their head and plays better. If you, as a berserker, gets beat, it MUST be the +/- food lol.

50% seems good, as it’s the current max you can get in spvp.

As long as max crit damage is set to 50% this change is fine.
Without that it makes zero sense.
Warrior is easier to learn play and master. Easiest of all classes actually. It’s a great beginner class. Ele is muh harder to play and master
Remove food from WvW, that is the solution.
Then introduce Condi Dmg/Condi Duration/ Precision gear
Then remove the cap on condition duration
Then remove the stack limit on condition duration
The Condition specs finally won’t be completely worthless and can be taken into groups for a change.
Don’t want variety? Go do spvp. Pretty simple solution.

All classes can be “perma ccd to death” necro isn’t special in this regard. 40k hp makes it way easier to survive.

high base health means nothing in this game. The important defensive things are toughness/armor, block, invulnarable,self healing, dodge and condition removel . You need only a little health to survive a burst that catches you in a bad situation.
The only profession that actually has use for an high health pool are necromencer and only because lf regeneration is % of your health.
Must be a necro here. Only a necro would say a class with 10k base health is “ok” where a necro can hit 40k hp by hitting one key.
If all was the same and equally good at everything there would be no point of professions.
That’s what all this whining is eventually going to do to the game if Anet listens to them (and they have a history of listening to the whiners).
And to be clear: whiners in this context is those complaining about a “problem” that isn’t a problem with the game as it is with their own abilities to overcome a preceived problem and want Anet to “fix” the “problem” so it is dumbed down to their abilities to overcome it.
So you play a warrior or necro? Don’t lie.
Warrior and especially necro are easymode and extremely forgiving to play. Nerfs are needed to bring them in line with ALL other classes.
Its weakness is slow and obvious burst animations. If you pay attention you could bring down any warrior without that much problems on any other class.
Warrior will always be the easy class to kill some because there mechanic is pretty simple to bring someone down… But thats also its weakness.. There mechanic/rotations are simple to read and predict and there bursts skills are also all very easy to read.. And you can count another one in the list > pin down..
Its just that 80% of the people in gw2 have no idea about warrior or how to fight them.. They eat all the bursts attacks and spoil there own burst attacks on endure pain or whatever and QQ here..
You should copy and paste this response into more threads lol. It’s obvious that the community wants to see warriors nerfed. It needs to happen. Too much offense, defense, cc, healing etc etc etc etc.

I wouldn’t expect Andy to need their pet class. I just don’t see them being balanced any time soon or ever really. Needs tO be done but wont happen.

Well with a health pool of 30-40k necros are amazingly easy to play and more forgiving than other classes if you make a mistake. Generally if you want a class that takes some skill, isn’t op and won’t make you feel like a face roller you should roll a ranger.
So warriors are a better ranged class compared to rangers?

My ranger in full cleric gear gets 160 hps with passive regen!! That’s with 1565 healing power. It’s laughable now. I wish anet would just come out and say they want everyone to play warriors.

I like to see sword being viable in power builds.
It shouldn’t be the same or even close to its damage of Axe because axe doesn’t have the leap, but for now sword is lacking allot of damage for power builds.Since the change of final thrust from AA to skill #3 its AA lacks allot of damage.
Pls consider these changes:
AA: increase all 3 hits with a flat 12% damage increase on its raw damage.
Or increase only the last hit from AA for 35% because the last hit doesn’t apply bleeding also.
This is also because the damage multiplier for sword on power is very low (0,6)Flurry: very good and allot of damage in condition builds, but lacks allot of damage in power builds, buff the raw damage for a 20%?
Final thrust: i get the 0,75 sec casttime so the opponent has time to react on this skill.
But for now its hard to land this skill below 50% health in that casstime, because its really a 1,25 sec casttime.
Pls make this a real 0,75 sec casstime.With these changes i see sword being used more in power builds also.
Because most warriors are using it only for its leap or immob to land a burst with different weapon in power builds.Thank you

Ok just did a duel against a ranger…. well he just NEVER died!!
Just stack:
condi power
toughness
healing power
And get troll unguentHe did 1000+ healing per second for 10sec.. on 25sec cooldown.
Ok he invest into it.. yeah I get that..But I go full zerker and he just evade around (ALL THE TIME!! and stacking conditions), when I get him at 50% health he just heals back to full and repeat..
Well yeah I can pop berserker stance or endure pain or shield stance.. but after awhile that all on cooldown.. so after that we cant use evade skills all the time, we just eat it.. and he just keep evading around doing almost nothing but stacking condi and heal.

Lol you’re reaching. Warriors are op. that’s the tend of the statement and post. If you got beat by a regen ranger with a warrior it’s a l2p issue.
