Speaking of hacks I was fighting another Thief with mine and he kept CnDing from 600M away lol.
I have no screenshot, but I am seeing around on Medium users a mask-like helm skin on the face sorta like 7 of nines face from Voyager or something, little thingy on the eye and stuff.
What is it? <not the engi starter thing either>.

Yeah, but in DAoC a player would get squished against the guards. Especially the keep lord.
I can solo a Lord room in GW2. Major changes would be needed in guard difficulty, then I’d be ok with it.
IMO:
-The best PvPers out there should need a little luck to take down a flag guard solo.
-1 or 2 people should get owned by the guards at a supply camp.
-Guards and Lords at keeps should have their health and damage output quadrupled.
-It should take 15 minutes to bust down a keep door, not 45 seconds.
I do agree guards and lords are far to weak, Keeps were more epic in DAoC Because of how hard they could be to take.
I couldn’t choose between Bolt or Incinerator, so I got them both.

10 in SA, even so Your going to be blinded alot. Bring a D/P of Your own and do the same to him.
There is a lot wrong in the OP suggestions:
- Water with traits allows for health regeneration. Our equivalent is tied into stealth.
- You cannot steal non-boons with the sword, e.g. Armor of Earth (lolrly).
- Agility is much harder to use effectively due to the inherited constant endurance.
- Stealth does not give stability or invulnerability, you can’t just stomp with it.
- Shadow Return eats into initiative. Better condition remove is tied into stealth.
- Longer cooldowns? Ele have 20 skills on the weapon alone. Oh please…
Some more:
- Cleric thief is an amazing bunker and more sturdy than Ele, but requires stealth for health.
- PVT thief is a decent bunker but requires stealth for health.
- We have stealth regeneration boon, stealth regeneration ticks and initiative to health.
Everything is tied into stealth. In sPVP, we lose capture points because of it ;-)To address some ‘standard thieves’:
- WE DONT NEED INVESTMENT IN CRIT/CRIT DAMAGE TO DO DECENT DAMAGE.

They should let ALL classes scale walls, with the appropriate siege.

Situations where thief is at all strong: Noob stomping WvW roams and Hotjoin PvP
Situations where you don’t see thieves much if at all: High level sPvP play, dedicated zergs in WvW accomplishing what WvW was designed for.
Well thief actually has a HUGE role in wvw many just haven’t figured it out yet.

I"m gonna go with Mesmer, the vast majority of players will be to confused by clones to kill you, the rest them can still be delt with very well on a Mesmer.

Thieves are not the best 1v1 class I’m sorry to say.
Very sad to hear, but Your fault.
Necros are so kitten good in any group based role that as a Necro I can not complain about 1v1.
1v1 means nothing, in any of GW2’s game modes anyway.
I’ve tested it, and so have others. It absolutely does not give over 33% movement speed in any situation.
Got a link with math to back it up? I’d like to see. Rather then “It seems to not be 50%”. Or “I think it is 50%” in my case.

Warriors can escape just as easy as any Thief btw. If I Don’t want to die on my Warrior I most likely will not.
It’s only chosen over other classes by newbies that have yet to fully understand GW2 and It’s classes.

Just because we already have some clipping issue it doesn’t mean we should add more.
The problem with capes is the Charr. They run on all four, which apparently created huge amount of clipping, and it didn’t look good (according to ArenaNet)
I think the only way to add capes to the game is to set a race limit on them, leaving the Charr out. I don’t know if Charr players would like this.

Thief can NOT dodge more then any other class, myth.
Can anyone help me come up with one for WvW/PvE? I know It’s sub-par. But with what we DO have, what kind of build are we looking at?
At this point? Remove stealth and give us huge mobility and evades… and fix P/P so I can be a Gunslinger!
Not sure what they made a stealth class they wanted no part of… They could have made it like GW1 and it would have been just fine…

And I have a feeling that you are a Thief with nearly perma-stealth and insane mobility.
I play an Acro Thief with limited Stealth, nice try though.
I think it is a bad stat in guild wars 2 so far. Of course you want enough to not get one shotted but most people often just go for more toughness instead. Because even if you have 40k hp (exemple), if you dont have toughness, this hp will drop extremely fast and you arent able to fill it up.
Lol, there’s no need to read further than this. If you stack only toughness, you are useless as well, you need vitality to survive through conditions
Unless you play a class with constant condi removal like a SA Thief.

Sure WoW and Aion had 6-8 bars of skills, but how many of those did we use? And how fun was it to have all that crap covering the screen?
It was just a game macros at that point.
Siege breaks zergs, siege is good. It also makes taking keeps harder, which is good. Remeber a month ago when you could take keeps in 2-3 mins?

The stat creep is outdated and very boring, “No one” ever enjoyed that game play style.

Watch they will still call for nerfs even with this, it never ends and never will.
Vit is fine, healing power needs a modest boost though. Not to much Because we do not want to have “Clerics” running around.
My problem is having to constantly rez other “Better…” PvE classes constantly.
