OP is doing it wrong.
He needs to go to Edge of the Mists where Keep lords drop 25 Dragonite orbs each and keeps are not defended.
Try that as a red server mate. It’s borderline impossible. I don’t think its a good way to farm dragonites as well. What if I don’t like to PvP? Should I be “banned” from ever obtaining ascended gear? Maybe I just love the challenge in the fractals, what then? Don’t limit your point of view to just your view. Plenty of HIGH-ly populated servers at the bottom of bronze league means not everyone enjoys PvP/WvW. Those people need to be addressed too, that’s all I’m saying.
I never really had a problem with ascended mats, but if other people have problems getting it I’m ok with boosting the drop rate, AS LONG as there’s more space to put it somewhere. I’ve probably trashed a good 5k of each type simply because there’s nowhere to put it when you’re saving your silver
The drop is bad since recently. It was toned down, that’s why I said because of being a seasoned player I had enough dragonite ores to craft what i wanted, not everybody is having an account since headstart though and has played every second since the ascended material introduction.
In my hour of play in a night I net a maximum of 4 ore. Because sometimes when I get out of TA, the wurm is up right next door.
For empyreal… I have 45 stars and stacks and stacks of the fragments.
Right now I’m shy 200 ore for my chaos of lyssa. I wish there was an exchange. 250 Empyreal frags to 25 dragonite, 250 dragonite for 25 empyreal… keep the exchange a little low but reasonable. Would solve all of my problems.
Yeah I believe an exchange system would be the best solution given all the comments so far. It appears that some players manage to farm tons of it through different activities in-game.
Maybe ANet could implement some system like the fractal shards? Up/Down grade with some additional materials to make the process a bit more expensive. IMO that will please all crowds and will allow people to obtain needed materials from all kinds of play, which was in Gw2’s manifesto which I still believe they try to follow, regardless of what people say.
I have too much dragonite. I’d rather it not get boosted. Teq is about the only place I get them (due to new megaserver schedule), and I have too much.
I’d rather Emp fragments be boosted back up. I seem to never get that many of those.
You can easily get that from dungeons and fractals
Last night after a long and painful grind I’ve finished my first armor set (Zojja! To hell with your soldier’s :P ). Now, I’m seasoned player and I had the luck to have a “kittenton” of dragonites on me so I had enough to craft the vision crystals needed for weapons and armors but out of curiosity I did some digging. It appears the only “good” way of farming those is through World Bosses but with the introduction of mega servers world bosses can not be farmed quickly. They have like 20-30 minutes between each and that is both, a lot of and not that much of a time. You can’t really do something meaningful in that time, but if you have to wait you’ll die out of boredom. Capturing keeps in EotM works only for the green server in WvW, may God help you if you are red
And while I’m getting flooded by bloodstone dust and empyreal fragments because they drop from virtually anywhere, I’m really low on dragonites right now. 20-25 dragonites for a world boss that takes 15+ minutes to take down? Come on ANet, you can do better than that
So, given the chances of obtaining ascended armor/weapons is terribly low throughout the game, it can’t be farmed through tokens is a huge turnoff for many many players. Screwing up with high level materials is not helping either, but you have to ease up the requirements for that armor.
Oh and just a trollbait thingie, you should really redesign that armor or include other ascended skins x_x . I mean come on, walking around in ascended armor i felt awful for myself, like a little boy, while your concept art of it is great. The first thing i did was to transmute the ascended armor >.> I added runes and infusions afterwards xD
Hey there guys. We’ve all done the stuff from the latest rehashed event , even the ones of us that missed the bazaar last year. So i started wondering what Anet are going to do next, so I started looking for hints. Started from twitter with @GuildWars2 and #GuildWars2 to see people’s opinions on the matter. Found a relatively new blog with very nice theorycraft idea
http://maidenswhisper.net/?p=72
The name is weird so Im wondering if its not on purpose (It’s an inn in Divinity’s Reach AFAIK?!) but beside that, read the post.
When a dev was approached with questions about Livia, all she said is that she can’t talk on the matter. I agree with this blogger. What do the others of you think
Let us at least buy the time gated stuff needed for ascended. I sunk some 100s gold for the necessary mats and now I have to way 25 days to craft the time gated stuff x_x and no I’m not going to pay 10g premium per damask and kitten like that.
I think you will be allowed after the tournament ends. But again, I might be lying, there was something about being unable to contribute to your new server if you transfer after the tournament starts.
As mainly a WvW player now,I do not care for rewards.I do not care for achievements. And I do not care for pve content.I wish WvW was its own game.To be loved by its own dev’s.
But it is what it is.
There’s only so much you could do to WvW to keep it balanced and fair. Stop repeating the same phrase in every WvW topic. What do you want, Air Ships to drop infantry in enemy garrison’s lord room? Go play some Battlefield 4 then…
Underworld was always going to end up at the bottom. I left that server mainly because I was in a guild from another server and couldn’t find a decent guild on Underworld.
WvW though was always a joke. There was some good commanders and guilds during season 1 but I could never enjoy playing in WvW because it was always full of whiney little kids who think they all know better. If a Zerg wiped they would just hurl insults at the commander till he detagged then wonder why they don’t have a commander and why no one wants to tag up. You could never get anything done because of the amount of people unwilling to follow instructions, get on TS or do anything team work related.
Now they have no one in WvW because most who play WvW have gone to other servers.
Many servers are like that, that’s not an excuse not to support your server. You are doing exactly what you are describing as a bad thing Commanders get bashed everywhere. I know some really great commanders that don’t want to tag up because they want to deal with it, but eventually they do.
I like how Robert Fenwick curled his tail and left Underworld though, priceless.
Instead of “Soldier”?
Other stat sets are called by their name, except this one which is called by its stats.
People are lazy.
PVT = Power, vitality, and toughness.
Pretty much this, and no other sets are not called by their name, for example, berserker’s = zerk/zerker, which funny enough makes up for the 2 most popular builds xD Extreme damage or extreme survivability. Blows my mind!
Megaserver
Lack of freedom in game to do what you want and be rewarded for it
Megaserver
Ohh, poor soul, now you are not the only server bugging events for linen scrap, tsk tsk. It must be terrible for you
Do like I do, take the matter in your own hands. Get 2-3 berserker friends and kill the champs before the train comes. Usually in about 15 minutes people get bored of teleporting just to find their champions dead
Hold the lane hostage and they’ll move on.
Plenty of people play the game the way its meant to be played. You just have to learn to create your own parties. Since day 1 there is LFG tool in this game I’ve never joined a party. Even though there are no benefits of being a party leader, I always started the thing myself and all my parties get filled with people for less than 2 minutes. I don’t care if they are zerkers or not, if they are lvl 80 or dungeon level, i don’t care if they want to swap on last boss or not. And I’m sure there are thousands of people just like me. You just have to learn to deal with it, that there are people who want to finish arah in ~30-40 minutes, and the 2 CoF paths in ~15 minutes or less combined and move on with their lives
And you are wrong for blaming them to play the way they want and that they want your playstyle in their party. To each their own. That’s the hard truth you have to face and agree with.
The best solution is to make “friends” or get real life friends to play the game so you could play together the way you want, with whoever you want and with whatever build your heart desires. I myself once did AC with 3 lvl 35 characters. Was fun, took 2 hours. Haven’t done it again

So I have slowly been creating Twilight over the past wee while and now looking at the 1k gold pile that I need to raise to afford Dusk at its current Trade Post price im starting to feel like Gw2 is a grind, I know that the developers said that they wanted to make the game feel like it wasnt a grind but I think some of the recent changes and perhaps lack of change has made it into one of the most grindy games I have ever played. does anybody else think that the whole Idea of needing a precurser or puting so much focus on gold has made Gw2 into a grind? because all I seem to be doing when I play is earning gold by grinding different dungeon paths or doing pvp which is kind of a grind aswell to level… :L perhaps ii play wrong.
Just keep trying on the precursor mate. I know how you feel. I play this game from the headstart, I played some betas but lets not count that time cuz its irrelevant. So the thing is, for almost 2 years now I’ve been trying to get precursor. I tried every trick in the book. World bosses, fractals, mystic forge and more mystic forge and some more mystic forge. Couple a weeks ago I finally got dusk, switched it for dawn and made my legendary overnight because I had everything else ready. The gold cost? A little over 500g. Just playing the game for all this time should guarantee you that much gold.
From what I saw, with all the taxes and whatnot it is madness to buy a precursor from the auction house unless you plan on flipping it for higher price. I had to pay a tax of 50g+ to just buy the dawn so yeah, my advice to you, keep trying. And have fun while at it. I never spent a dime on the AH to buy rare items to toss in the mystic forge. I have somewhat high account MF and I obtain the items i toss there or I just buy exotics with dungeon tokens. And I do dungeons because I find them fun, not because I need over 1k tokens to spin the RNG. I was spinning the wheel of fortune (mystic forge) every other day or so.
Good luck, don’t lose hope. It will come!
If the motherboard is capable, get a FX8350 + aftermarket cooler so u can OC it.
Will AMD ever learn to put decent coolers on their hardware >.> My i5-2500k can push out 4GHz on stock cooling while my R9 290X completely destroys the need of an air conditioner in the winter >.>
But yeah, ontopic, I’m pretty certain that we will go with the FX8350, saw some promising benchmarks. I guess that’s the best AMD chip for price/performance and AM3+ socket.
Thanks for the replies everyone. When we get it in couple of months I’ll write down the results With that power usage (~150W) I guess we’ll need to get her a new PSU as well.
And mostly thank you for staying outside of fanboyism

Hey there guys!
We all know that Gw2 scales terribly in WvW on medium or lower end machines, and we all know that buying the latest generation i7 CPU will greatly increase the frame rate in massive fights, yet I have to upgrade my girlfriend’s computer and truth be told I’m not very AMD-savvy customer when it comes down to their A/CPUs. I myself have R9 290X oven but that’s GPU land. Also we really don’t want to buy a new motherboard.
Her current motherboard is running AM3+ socket and a 5-6 year old AMD cpu throwing out some 3.4GHz but really its at the end of its lifecycle. We’ve upgraded her GPU to Radeon HD 7850 (yep GCN architecture) having Mantle API in mind and knowing it would offload the CPU a bit, but then again there aren’t much Mantle enabled games YET.
Regardless, I would like to know what are you, AMD CPU people using in your rigs and what average FPS you are pushing. I’m really bad when it comes to AMD CPUs, having a Sandy Bridge i5 for about 3 years now I haven’t really checked any CPU advancements from any manufacturer.
So, yup, TL;DR; – Help a brother out to pick an AM3+ AMD CPU that would push some decent FPS in WvW, be it at Medium graphics.
You will want to ditch the AMD Motherboard/CPU and go either Ivy or haswell Intel.
youll want an i5 clocked at 3.2ghz or more on either 1150 or 1155 socket.
AMD does not scale well with GW2. Even their best cpus (FX8 and FX9) are about 1/3rd the performance of Intel’s i5’s when it comes to this game.
I currently am playing with OCed i5-2500k and the FPS is acceptable. No need to go over to Ivy/Haswell yet. But as I said in my OP, new motherboard is a no-no
Sorry about the doublepost
From my research in the past hour or so I’ve laid my eyes on FX8350. Seems it can deliver. Is any of you guys using that CPU? How is it handling itself in WvW encounters?
EDIT: Ah it seems we’ve posted at the same time. I’ll check out your suggestions as well. Thank you!
(edited by Ravenmoon.5318)
Well I didn’t know where to put this topic. If a moderator could move it that would be great, I don’t really want to make a double post about it.
EDIT: Thanks for the moving

I think what more people should try to understand is that it is not a crime to be bad at a boss. Not even after doing the Marionette for a week straight. It’s not lazy if you are bad, nor is it your fault. It’s just unfortunate. I don’t blame other players when they die at a boss, especially one that is temporary. Some people need more time to become familiar with a fight.
Give that man a freaking gold medal. Common sense at its finest….
Well my previous guild had it easy. Screenshots of the roster (most importantly, the AP score), and if nothing changes in the next 2-3 weeks – notify message and a followup kick. I agree that its extra effort but that’s the easy way of doing it if you want to.
To reply multiple posts at once without having ridiculously large wall of text, I’ll just say that yes, me and my girlfriend have been and we are duo-ing dungeons, especially in Arah (seriously this dungeon is awesome, if only they would fix the obnoxious jumping puzzles that some people love to abuse and earn gold out of it) and yes it is fun but we’ve done it, many many times.
I also agree that the only issue aetherpath is having is that the rewards are not really up to par with the difficulty of the dungeon. The guy above overestimated it a bit, I don’t agree to that extend, the AI is manageable but yeah its a lengthy dungeon that doesn’t even measure will in gold rewards as Arah does on a speed-ish run.
I also don’t like the term filthy casual. I consider myself a casual and I’m certain that I can give hard time to the “elite” of this game without breaking a sweat. I also dungeon with all kind of people … first timers, low levels, non-zerkers … you name it, I’ve probably played with such people. Its not about the end its about the journey for me. If you happen to be cool person then I don’t care if I finished Arah p2 in 40 or in 400 minutes. I usually play Gw2 when I have more than 1 hour of free time anyway. So yeah there’s definitely good guys in this game still. As I have given an example above, I’m really surprised by the people that run fractals. At highest levels people are really great and not kitteny (most of the times).
I see @Imbune is really frustrated at what has become of some of the party players. I feel you mate, I also had a vendetta against path sellers, which was a kittened practice but oh well, I figured one man can’t change kitten around. IMO it comes down to making a “friendship” and run around with those people, train together, have fun…that is what we’re playing games in the first place for anyway.
As I see this thread growing and so far most people agreeing with me in a way, I feel as if we’re addressing an issue here, and it could lead to a nice friendly discussion, why not CDI even in the future?
Thanks for your input so far!
As I said, zergs are not necessarily a bad thing, but there has to be balance to be truly great. And I hear you about having a good guild, but I have better, I actually have friends to run 5-man content and we are a nice team but we keep doing the same things over and over and over, times and times again.
And if the game client’s performance allowed my gaming rig to dish out more than 8-20 fps (as it normally does in Gw2) I doubt I would have that sour feeling. The fact that I have to rotate my camera away from the action in order to get a fluid screen and keep my HP in track in real-time. I can’t enjoy the game world this way. All those artists work goes to a waste for me.
In the end, I Pre-Ordered Gw2 to fight dragons with my friends, not with strangers. And don’t get me wrong, I really like Gw2, I just wish we would get balanced content.
Actually to tell you a story, the first time me and my gf played was in overflow, for 20 minutes we got only 1 of the knights to 50% hp, and he instantly healed up.
Who thought that a mob with few millions of HP and no distinct mechanic whatsoever would be fun O.O
I suppose that is why I prefer dungeons because the mobs are not ridiculously boosted. Gw2 used to have event scaling, what happened with that in the last story update. Why the mobs are so powerful even with ~10 people around it. Purely mathematical it will take a lot more than 10 mintues for 10 guys to gut 1 knight, unless they are abusing elementalist’s conjured weapons with blinking.
But we’re daily in Arah, doing 2-3 paths a day each day. Then some Ascalonian Catacombs, and CoF, the 3 CoE paths even more when we make a good group with good players.
Also Lion’s Arch is getting 10k players only because everyone wants to check out the last update. When aetherpath was in the LS many many people tried to do it. As I said, zergy content is okay in MMO, but there have to be balance. We need more lupicus-like bosses. Something to feel good for yourself if you manage to solo it.
Lets not forget that the “vanilla” game was all about balance. You had 5-man dungeons/objectives, you also had world bosses/orr temples. If we consider the living story as expansions regardless of what the haters feel about LS, its just tipping the scales. We get tons of zergy content, and so far what … 1 fractal and 1 Aether path which is quite long and challenging (which is not necessarily a bad thing). And that is why I made this thread. I want to play with my friends in an organized group. I don’t care if we are finishing CoF p1 in 10 or 50 minutes. I don’t want a timer to pressure me. I want to be able to go to the freaking bathroom once the event start, or if someone wants to smoke to be able to sit for 3-4 minutes without being pressured. THAT makes Gw2 awesome for me for over an year now, and I believe many others
@Inculpatus cedo – You have a guild, I’m sure they can help out if its one-time thing. Besides storymode dungeons are never hard. I’m hoping on the explorable paths after that anyway
Also PUGs are not all that terrible. For instance, if you go to a fractals stage over 15-20 the players are guaranteed to know what they’re doing because getting there is skill-gated.
(edited by Ravenmoon.5318)
I had a discussion with my girlfriend over the last LS update. We couldn’t play at launch day but we did so yesterday. Idk if its because the past couple of releases were a zergy mess and its becoming too much to us but, what really happened to party play? A tight 5-man organized group where everybody matters? I miss this…the only organized party play is dungeons, which we’ve done thousand of times, and fractals, which we’ve done few hundred times already too.
I miss being important within my group. Those timers you guys put everywhere just force everyone to bring their berserker class, like seriously. And that 6 minute achievement adds even more to that. Its very hypocritical nerfing the berserker when your latest events require berserkers. But thats another topic anyway
And lately regardless of story I feel like just another pawn on the board, not the hero with 7k+ achievement points. And no making events forcing servers to organize will never work, some servers are really bad, and you can’t fix this.
Why don’t you add more LS dungeons? Like the aetherpath in TA. You can even add the map extension through a dungeon! We and many others want to feel heroic, that’s why we play games. I don’t want to zerg an event with 100 others, spamming my #1 attack because any condition would be reflected back at me, or projectiles . But okay its a MMO, going around with an army of players is acceptable, but it shouldn’t be the only content you guys put out
We’re getting more and more frustrated. All that we can do to have fun is to repeat content we’ve already done hundreds of times. You have to agree with me that eventually it gets boring.
We love Guild Wars 2. The lore, the mechanics, the gameplay, the graphics … but after doing the same over and over for a little over an year now we are starting to get frustrated.
Please add some party content, where I can play with my friends, not with strangers. I don’t consider people in my server friends. Most of them are silly trolls anyway. I want dungeons, with new mechanics, not just steamrolling or skipping countless numbers of mobs.
Not to mention that this year some big hitter MMOs will be released in couple of months, which aligns with your living story break. Gw2 doesn’t have fresh content to stop possible player leak. We believe in Gw2, but please consider adding some party play content. Asking 100 strangers to organize is not fun. My server has never gotten the great wurm, nor its being organized because people gave up and simply choose to guest on this event. Same goes for Tequatl. That’s content which regardless of our playskill (i think we’re very good players), we will never experience, unless we guest to other server. If you think this is an “okay” mechanic (guesting for world bosses), you’re just being silly :/
TL;DR – Please add more party content, enough with the zerging.
P.S: Playing the event last night, my PC with OCed i5-2500k and R9 290X OCed managed to pull 8 fps in the knights fight. You can see why I and thousands of others despise the massive events.
If you plan on adding more zergy events, at least publish a PC configuration that can push at least 40 fps on fights like this one. Because honestly, as a tech-savvy user, I can’t imagine what kind of PC I will need to run this game properly. Dual CPU PC? Before the R9 290X I was using CrossfireX build, it was bad.

Before going any further I want to say that this survey has no connections or obligations to ArenaNet or anyone else that can influence the game in one way or another.
Earlier today I was scouting @ reddit and saw this survey and decided to share it with you guys. In order to preserve the author’s copyright I will quote the original message
Out of curiosity i quickly made the survey below. I’m thankful for every participant, but cannot offer any reward other than my gratitude. The questions center around the attack on Lion’s Arch, the involved politicians and future efforts to rebuild what we lost.

Thanks!
My personal opinion, the questions are really nice and not many. Overall it’s a good survey, you should check it out I’ll update the results once they are made available at reddit.

Given there is a LFG system, yes…such messages are considered SPAM
LA wasn’t really a human settlement, not in this game at least (Gw2)
1. Ranger
2. Necro (in PvE, PvP is alright)
3. XXXXXXXX
To everybody that cries for a cape – arah leggings.
I only spot 2 issues with the fight.
1st, It requires lots of players, 100 would be OK but given map limit is 125, some people can’t even make it in their respective maps unless they get a “taxi” which is lame. ANet should’ve boosted the limits of Bloodtide Coast and Lornar’s Pass for the duration of the live story.
2nd, The boss spawns way too often. I know, I know, we all enjoy taking the challenge every other hour but … if the train 2 hours ago makes it … none of those 100+ successful players will show up for the one taking place right now. So that further thins the numbers. I’ve been running 3 different lanes in a single path because of low numbers, it’s not all so pleasent.
Ah there is one more issue … if players take less than 3 minutes to actually teleport on the platforms that would be great!
And in the end its just another number’s game. That’s one of the reasons I don’t like World Bosses in this game. I don’t feel like my skill is adding to the success. Even my tight group of 4 more trusted friends … we go out guns blazing and we win or fail but the sense of achievement is not as it should be. I’m much more happy beating a mediocre guy as lupicus <o>
We want capes
No we don’t.
That.
Agreed.
You are being unrealistic if you think you can survive a pack of 20-30 guardians/warriors. The amount of shackle, line of warding and other immobilizing skills is too kitten high. Not to mention the warriors are superb with rifles and bows and staff guardians heal as crazy given most of them run ++Healing Power gear.
Oh did I mention that a guardian could just blink in the middle of your group and rip you from the inside out and blink back to his zerg if kitten gets serious? Yeah … your best bet is to mix it up and give up this all ranged-only thing
P.S: Shout healer warriors are nice ^.^
P.S: In my own experience when I’m roaming with warrior and I see ranged players I swap my bow to sword/shied for some extra gap closing and immobilize. I can only guess the majority of warriors do that. And when I’m roaming on the thief and the fight is out in the open I usually flank, cloak and burst from behind and shadow step if kitten gets serious. I would guess most thieves do that as well.
Your best bet would be to kite all the way and make sure you avoid the gap closers. We all know that’s impossible but doesn’t mean you can’t try.
(edited by Ravenmoon.5318)
NO CONTENT should be instanced. It should be ALL open world. If you want instances go back to GW1 or WoW.
Instanced content KILLS the open world.
This game was sold on the open world dynamic event and they’ve spent extremely too much time on instanced content. It’s time to get back to what was promised.
Go away ….
The best way to tell a story is through story driven instances, and among other things I play Gw2 mostly because of its lore and I’m anticipating the next installment of the LS to learn more about Scarlet’s twisted plan. Be honest and tell me that the last Kasmeer/Marjory story instance wasn’t emotional
Hahahahahahahahaha oh god I can’t stop laughing!
Who would have thought that they felt that was exploiting, or unintended? I bet not even the people who accuse us daily would think that when they asked anet to fix the loopholes in dungeons that they actually thought that that could be one of them.
Holy moly. Wellllll let’s just kill all those elites, right?
As Crea would say, (I think) “kiss my tail!”
For the likes of you, when weren’t here at game’s launch when all the dungeons were super hard and the final effigy required a very distinctive group otherwise it would heal up all the way, yes … you can actually kill ALL THE ELITES (WOW) or play it smart.
Good luck with your future endeavours
What… Does that even mean?
I did cof a month after launch…. I didn’t think it was easy, but then I was on a cleric ele and didn’t even know how to play… What?
Sheriff Ravenmoon, what are you on about?
Anyway, my initial post wasn’t snarky or facetious or anything. I’m actually fine with killing elites, because they will melt from my warriors pretty axe and gs.
This is about the time the Effigy got nerfed to hell and CoF p1 became a 10 minute run.
All I’m saying is that you shouldn’t complain about CoF’s difficulty because it still is a lot easier than it was at launch.
Hahahahahahahahaha oh god I can’t stop laughing!

So you want them to hold your hands? You are meant to figure out the correct strategy. With time people will start to realize this isn’t your typical zerg stand still and press #1 boss like shatterer and is more like Teq where you actually need to coordinate. Once people figure that out and figure out a strat things will go more smoothly. From what I’ve heard it’s not a hard boss. It just will take some practice.
I’m both hands up for what you said, figuring the best strategy on your own makes the reward and the achievement itself so much better BUT ….. that 15 minute timer on every god kitten world boss is super annoying. Even if you are good player and you do everything right, you are being punished for every nubcake in your server.
Now I get it that twitch-based/action combat is not for everyone, and I don’t blame them they play the game the way they find it fit and fun and this is why we play games and all but …. the timers kill any immersion :/ And also makes it impossible for lower populated servers to do it right.
Not to mention that all this timer does is to force people go in berserker so they would shred the mobs before the timer runs out. And then you guys (ANet) wonder why nobody is going for condition/cc builds and everyone jumps into the berserker train. Yup, nerfing critical damage won’t change anything but make your lame timers more viable. Which IMO is very bad mechanic, I don’t know hwo you came up with that, it wasn’t like that at launch and mobs had AI at beta. I don’t know what changed but I want pre-release ANet ideas >.>
You miss the point, all of you
Invisibility is not the issue here, most thieves run without condi removals, just stun breakers, especially the pistoleers who shadowstep like all the time thanks to no skill cooldown. Recently cloaked thief is easy to guess and most professions have some kind of trace skills if timed right. Not to mention that the majority of the good players are able to dodge ‘Cloak & Dagger’ with a chance 2/3 attempts. The issue is not the stealth really
And some thieves are plain stupid to attack people in retaliation, which makes it simply the best skill to have against a thief xD

Well if you want to clear the spider room of Arah p2, be my guest.
The intended mechanic of p2 is to use the golem to push mobs around. I see what you did there, but learn to play
I’ve been putting up my LFG: ‘Buying Arah p… 23 silver & 3x princess miya’s wig" for a while, but noone wants to help me out
Anyway, I don’t see a problem. They provide a service for people who don’t want to play through the content for whatever reason. Happens quite often on long or difficult things (like Arah, although it’s not bad at all once you know how to do it). Your gain their loss.
Things like this will always occur, even GW1 you had droks run, underworld spider pet run, powerlevelling, doing missions and more – people selling them for gold. Personally I did a lot of droks run on my ranger back in the day, people were always happy to get there and me having fun and earning a few extra coins too. I bet it’s the same for these guys, they solo/duo Arah for fun and then get some extra profit from it, keep it up
How do you feel confident about yourself and your skill after having the dungeon master achievement bought and not earned? Or you are just jealous of all the people having it and you being unable to grasp it?
I’m actually feeling happy that people like you get booted out for selling a dungeon path. You people need to learn how to play a MMO. This is not a business. And please, stop complaining about your time effort. Nobody forced you to go to a dungeon solo just to sell it afterwards. That was your choice, a lame one in fact.
Although I agree that Arah needs some serious fixing. And the Alphard change was kinda lame. I’ve done the “new” p2 couple of times but the Alphard combat is like nothing in the game so far. Dat instant kill.
The much larger issue is for the kittens that flip precursors at the TP and obviously changing the price. Dawn used to be 300-400g few months ago, now its 700 lowest while there has been no gold boost. Go figure. Items NEED to have hardcoded TOP price. Player-driven economy is just a mess. Too many greedy people.
Screw precursors … lvl 20 Masterwork item costs 12 silver, or more. <o>

Stop blowing this out of proportions. You’ve had an official response. Enough!
I’m pretty certain those 10-20k damages come from you being blind. I’m playing 100b zerker warrior (right, noob according to most of you, don’t care, phat numbers) and I’m usually the first to get in a zerg and spam whirl/100b and bow F1/#3. Needless to say its more likely for me to die in 1on1 against tanky warrior than I am against a zerg with my server’s zerg
The exploits used to get to simin with 2 players however are awesome and should be bannable
GW1 is 8 years old. Give them some time.

No, and seriously, stop making 1000 topics about it. It’s ridiculous. You have waypoints every few meters, you have swiftness on every class – why in the blue hell would you need mount other than to showoff >.> A mount which eventually everybody would have. It would be yet another useless thing like the minis.
