A good example. Last night I was fighting/chasing an enemy engie from one end of the map to the other with my guardian. He was doing things I had not seen engies do and which I have not experienced or done on my engie and I was certain is was some sort of hack/cheat. Before submitting it as such I talked it over with a few people on the server and found out that by equipping certain traits the behavior I witnessed was indeed possible for an engineer.
If I had not talked it over and submitted it as I saw it then I would not have found it that it was a legitimate behavior and with the lack of any feedback from the devs on my submission I would only A) become more and more frustrated on witnessing the same thing again and
Think that the game we are playing is “dirtier” then what it is.
Even if they would compile a list of all the cheat/exploit reports they have with a basic description of the behavior and then a simple “yes, this behavior is an exploit” or a “no, this is possible under certain paradigms” then people would not feel so frustrated upon seeing the behavior again and the number pf complaints the receive would drop considerably.
in the past i did the same mistake and i reported an engineer because of the same behavior and after that i played more my eng and i found that this char is just fantastic …..
engineers are difficult chars but when someone learn him can do the impossible …. possible
Zergs would have 600 radius instant death autoattacks and 80-150k HP/s healing if there was no aoe cap.

until now my most private "HATE"* messages was when i beat my enemies , not when i killed from enemies ….
i don’t want my name be subject for their server / guild / friends and have rewards for my “head”.
if anyone wants to show his name to enemies ask it from anet to implement it as feature , but for the above reasons i want to have the option to hide mine
- the reverse of ganking creates a loot of HATE and whispers with many #$!#!$!$!%%! inside that are not improving the wvw at all

if a server has hackers then this server have a chance to have both enemy servers against hacker’s server ….. you can call it team-play , but with a serious reason this time.

the last weekend one or more players from an enemy server used map glitch to kill lords in upgraded towers . they succeeded to give a good score to their server and a big advantage like 12k points .
the result of their actions was to kitten off both servers that was the victims of their actions and turned both servers against them !
after 2 days of the hacker / glitch-ers actions they are behind in the score ….
GJ hackers you doomed your server

p.s. my problem from blobs is that i am taking all the time hits from the eneimies , so if i wanted something to lower from the zergs , this should be the blob’s power and condition damage , not their survivability from v/t/hp
Can’t happen either, because if you do that, you basically made the game into a : you can’t kill the ennemy, but can’t really die either, welcome hours long boring fests of people hitting each others without killing each other…
this thread is about big zerging debuff not for all other situations . the zerg fights are the faster fights in-game . people killed extremely fast in big fights and in extremely big numbers .it is in the edge of farming . not npc but players. this should be improved somehow and i think the only way is to lower the damage that do the zergs against players from power and condition damage.
this will create the need for better tactics in battle

@OP if you are in EU silver league server and your server avoids the fights come to Aurora Glade . the only that we are not avoid* is fights , but be prepared to die a lot because we are playing most of the times outnumbered

at least we have a chance the servers to see more exclusive pve people from our servers to this season , because of rewards every week ( something that must remain will lower count of wvw tickets ) and the low duration ofc , that will not burned out the players .

A new tournament would cause a great influx of players. The achievements and the outlook at more tokens will stimulate WvW again.

my staff ele with this sigil ( http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Superior_Sigil_of_Benevolence ) i see ~400 aoe heals ( heals everywhere , very funny ) to my allies on every hit that i do in water .( i don’t remember the build and the stats but only the sigil on staff )
there is also a warrior healing build with bow and banners usage that do incredible aoe heals on every hit.
as for the loot i remember when i used the tome of courage i had loots from my healed ally when they killed our enemies. i am not sure if this was came from just the heal or i had damage them before.

game need only to fixed the alert ( swords ) system and i really need an alert trap …. nothing more . i don’t want to kill my enemies with a trap , i want to know where they are moving and how many are …
1) What do you like best about WvW? What keeps making you come back for more? What keeps you interested or keeps it fun?
for a new player wvw is good as it is , for a veteran it lacks of missing ( guild real meaning in wvw , “fortify” , reward after matchup ) or broken mechanisms ( rally ) that make him don’t want return if he jumped to another game.
24/7 siege gameplay in paper is good but simple it doesn’t work for most of european servers that i know .
2) What do you like least about WvW? What makes you frustrated about it or makes you want to stop WvW in favor of something else like PvE, PvP or even EotM? (I consider EotM play separate).
they added one extra open field pvp map ( eotm ) the same time where the game is dropping its wvw population . this created a toxic environment in european servers .
this was the biggest mistake anet did so far …..
3) What tier are you in?
my server is in eu silver league , but someone in anet trolling us 4 weeks now and they macthup us with at least one golden league server .
anet seriously what you think ? people log-off from wvw because of that . this is not make us log on more in wvw …
in eu silver league the enemies home maps have only roamers to flip camps or pvp , not zergs out of prime time , but when the PPT servers want blob at midnight, they take everything without resistance . this is what is happening in eu silver ……..
4) Have you switched servers for WvW? Why?
why to do that ? all servers have the same 4 wvw maps …what supposed to find if i move ?

Warning bell trap, when enemy run over it a “warning bell” show on map, it show like White 0-5, green 6-14 blue 15-24 red 25+ or something like that and it stay on the map for ~
1030sec.

guys drop one disable trap in front of gate every 20 seconds and type /laugh in chat and start counting 20 secs for the next ….
- Defending situation . Defense Com in chat :
guys park your chars in front of every gate with disable traps and when you see the blob is coming , build them
nice ….. nothing changed . Coverage , AFK gaming wins again !!!!

I really don’t care even the color tag cost 3000 gold.
color commander tags can not win a fight/mathcups but numbers/coverage can and this is not going to change soon .
i really have bigger issue with siege disable trap that introduced than this

My Engi build. I run with Oblivious in Desolation, and I outlast most warriors/guardians in a melee train against SFR blobs. Every 20s you have a waterfield +2 personal blasts, your bombs heal roughly 250 every 1s for AoE, and damage people for 1-2k every second. Blind bombs, 2 blocks, 2 invulnerabilities, a pull that is the bane of any Commander lacking stabilities. Supply crate for AoE interrupt, and a AoE thrown stealth if someone is downed and about to be stomped. Easy to learn, easy to play. Engineers are very viable in a melee train, just too many people have no idea how to play an Engineer.
Oh, change Auto-protection to Stabilized armour if you’re not very good at dodging trains. I only run auto protection because I don’t tend to get stunned or knocked-down.

maybe with more healing power ( in Inventions – toughness trait line it converts healing power to power ) you have more effective regeneration and rejuvenation when melee’s train heals you . i changed a bit the armor to have more sustain inside zerg and have some more critical chance without loosing too much armor or power ( because ot sigil of torment you used )

i will add only 2 suggestions that i think are the bigger problems for dedicated wvw players and between gvg guilds and the rest of their server and one that will help to have better community in-game .
- Rally : by killing someone enemy in downed state , it rally s ONLY 1 ally player not a full downed party ( 5 ally in downed state ) as it is now and it is coming unchanged from pve . wvw supposed to be more serious business than pve

- when i speak with lord of a claimed tower i want to informed what guild has claimed with their [TAG] and who is the guild leader to speak with him .
- in /t chat i want to see the [tag] next to name . this will create better communities inside the server .
p.s. kraag don’t afraid about scouters , if we don’t have PVD the scouters are already happy

Your post above makes no sense and I can’t see how it’s related to what my post tried to prove. It seems to me you are picking on me and arguing for the sake of arguing because I “dared” quote you and prove your post wrong.
I have replied to your previous post in a manner that seems logical to me and I brought arguments as to why your previous post was wrong. Please bring up arguments based in logic, to the point at hand and displayed in such a manner that one can understand them, if you wish to have a discourse. Wild ranting will not be taken seriously and will only make people think less of you.
Trying to answer your… hm… interesting post above:
1. You can see the guild emblem on the banners in the claimed structure and I think you can see its name if you talk to the claiming NPC (not sure). As to “official score”, I have no ideea what you mean by this, nor why would it be relevant. There is no official guild ranking as of yet, despite many people asking for it.
2. There is no immediate gain other than the knowledge that your guild supports the war effort of your server. It also works as PR – people see your guild claiming strucutres in WvW = people see your guild is into WvW and dedicated to it = people that are likewise into WvW will want to join your guild, bolstering your numbers and thus making your guild more succesful.
3. ???There we go. Let’s see if I get infracted for this as well.
1 . no nobody can see what guild and who is the leader of the guild ( for contact ) who claimed a tower / keep / camp in wvw , same situation exist in eotm too
2. knowledge ? sorry mate but i will tell you a story from my server to explain you that there is no knowledge or fame or whatever for anyone that belongs in wvw guilds . i am dedicated wvw player and i am in pve guild too . nobody knows in my pve guild the wvw / gvg guilds . nobody knows and nobody follow them in wvw when they are playing , because they know that most of them don’t really want the “good” of our server but to fill their egos with wins in fights . this is the reason that most of old wvw guilds have disbanded or leaved gw2 . there is nothing in gw2 for a real war guild that want to dominate and conquer.
3. i can explain it more … i am just waiting with all of my guildies to start archeage in october to find a reason to create again a guild with a purpose in-game , not just a band of musicians ( ring bell ) or dancers ( dance volume 1 and 2 )
i did my warrior main character because it use better the shield …. i love warrior shield 
…..Share them with us and the creators could be included and credited in our video compilation!

Some suggestions to improve the claiming of objectives.
-Claims work only if you have an active wvwvw buff.
-Everyone can claim instantly, no more claims based on which guild had the most active players during the cap so others have to wait 3 minutes till they can claim.
-Claims dissapear when the there is no more wvwvw buff active so other people with an active buff can claim instead.Another off topic suggestion that i consider an improvement would be to equalise the capping speed regarding of the numbers of people taking an objective so smaller groups or even solo players aren’t punished for trying to cap off-zerg.

- claim priority has the guild that has the more kills inside lord area , when captured
- claim gives influence at guild 100 per hour
- guild that has claimed a structure has the option to destroy or move any siege that want inside their claimed structure when the structure is not attacked
- influence gained from wvw gives wvw guild score
- wvw guild score = [ influence gained from wvw + enemy deaths only in wvw maps ( not from obsidian map ) ] – guild members deaths in wvw maps ( not from obsidian map )
- successfully hold of a structure from a guild for over 24 hours ( that means successfully maintain at least 3 wvw buffs and protection of the structure for 24 hours ) reward all guild members with chest reward and 1000wxp
- unable reclaim anything for 24 hours after successful hold of 24 hours of an structure … day off for the guild members
- death sharing is ban-able offense and noted in the central WvW window [B] key

You made false assumptionts that conveniently appear to support your claims. Let’s break it down:
1. No claimed towers – are you kidding me? Towers will be claimed and upgraded when the strategy at the time is to claim and hold them. If a tower is capped just to force a reaction out of your opponents, without real plans to hold it then because the objective is different, why should it be claimed? Furthermore, how does “guilds not caring for their server’s team spirit” mean that the server has no team spirit? Stupid assumptions ftw.
2. Failure of assumtion 1. leads to failure here. People do care about winning or losing because of server pride. There are also some rewards involved, the extra bonus rank-up chests and the Power of the Mists. Not much, but there is something. Plus, winning means your server at least maintains its position on the leaderboard, if not going up (or at least it should work like this, but due to the ranking system being what it is…).

I am on Far Shiverpeaks now. As much as I like it and feel like it’s my “home”, I sadly ever find any small groups or solo roamers out on the battlefield. I stay away from the blobs.
Anyway, is there any servers (EU) you guys could recommend me, that is known for a good roaming environment (if such server exist).

no, there is not exist this server . all servers are good for roamers .stay to your home if you are roamer mate .
@OP if you are going to play roaming style you should focus to generate might as soon as possible as Straegen.2938 suggested , to cc your area around you and to have options to escape .
in warriors forum section there are many builds to take an idea what people are using most , but my only advice is if you go for roaming choose weapons to escape … escape when you are outnumbered it is helping a lot your morale

@OP . every class can go full tanky ( gear and build ) and survive inside a zerg “ball” . synergies create the survivability for heavies , so you must follow the same logic .

no mate , because the players that belong to the outnumbered servers ( oh yeah the coverage make the winner ) ,they will win an ascended accessory afetr 40 weeks ….
a fair reward system gives almost equal rewards to all and good rewards to attract more people to wvw . if a server wins every week with 20 Tournament tickets every week they will win an accessory after 10 weeks = 3+ months ….
with the current system of 200 Tournament tickets for an ascended accessory and because of six accessories for each character the 20 Tournament tickets is very poor reward.ofc better than nothing , but they are account bound . nobody should forget that are account bound .
if they want to give rewards and give some boost to new players to play wvw to make better their characters sooner and keep satisfied the old players they should give :
- winner server : 50 Tournament tickets ( in an ideal situation : 1 character wins 6 ascended trinkets in 6 months , for all 5 characters of an account is total 2 and half years )
- second server : 45 Tournament tickets
- third server : 40 Tournament tickets
if they add 20 for the winner i will stay out of wvw ….. there is no reason to play for an ascended accessory that is account bound and i can not salvage or use it in mystic forge after 10 weeks !
