Pierogi or Falafel
Yes, I am very hungry.
Paninis of Freedom
To be honest, i don’t recall ever having any ddos attacks until after the election and after anet make a joke about it lol. I’m sure we did they were just never given a name lol.
Oh, they definitely happened before the election. :p
PHeart of Fire, obviously.
That sounds potentially catastrophic and stinky.
Plenty of Fish: The Tyrian Dating Game
It’s safe to assume we’ll get one more with episode 6. As for how they’ll be released after that, we’ll have to wait and see.
Hmm to bombard the login server they need accounts and 1000s/ 10,000 + do you really think they would do this with paid accounts lol … hence there where no DDOS issue prior to free trail accounts.
- I did say untill the issue has had a proper work around ie with firewalls
Yes you may loose a few new players, isnt that worth being able to play with out lag and dc, also do you not think they loose more from the cash shop not being used in the mean time?
Now, I’ve never been on the giving end of a DDoS attack, but I’m still fairly certain that it’s not done that way. Plus, DDoS attacks were happening to the game before Free To Play started for GW2.
The wiki page has pretty good info on the Sylvari, including their history. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Sylvari
Because… uhm… you’re dead…
Except you’re not; you’re defeated.
True. But you’re on the ground, unconscious. Even if you’re not dead, you’re still not likely to hop up and grab loot while in said unconscious state.

Unless you’re also on that same Personal Story step, no, you won’t see the green symbol. The other person need to tell you where to go.
Why not keep it (birthday gifts are a good reason) and just make a human warrior in another character slot? If you don’t care about the birthday gifts or having an extra warrior, though, then I suppose deleting would be a good option.
Yeah, I’m not sure what one has to do with the other.
It could be a case of people just not bothering to finish the pre-events in a timely fashion. I mean, if people just ignore the pre-events until the last 5 minutes, then the events and NPCs won’t finish/make it to their locations in time.
Also, the only escort that has to be done is the one where you escort the group of charr to the Shatterer starting area (“Escort the Sentinel squad to the Vigil camp”). The collection event ("Collect siege weapon pieces . . . ") ends when the collection is done; the NPCs run to the Shatterer area on their own and don’t need to be escorted, and you don’t have to do anything with them after the boss event is over, either.
A long time ago, the chain would occasionally stall before the pre-events even began; luckily, this was eventually fixed. So, I’m not sure what could be stalling the boss event now. I guess just make sure you bug report it anytime you encounter it in-game, and try to take note of what happens before it gets to the point where it stalls.
Being able to dye backpacks is something that’s been requested for a very, very long time. From what I recall from previous dev responses, it’d be difficult and/or not really worth the effort (since it would require a LOT of work to go back and change the system).
Edit: Found the dev response(s) I was thinking of.

We can not open a new ticket for anyone else because they will not let us enter the user. As everywhere you ask for a phone call, we can not get anywhere to get the old phone number out of the box.
What do you mean by “they will not let us enter the user”? If you mean you can’t log in, that doesn’t matter. You can submit a ticket anonymously. Just go to the link provided above, and then click on the text that reads “submit your ticket anonymously”. Your friend will need to provide as much information as possible.
I think the changes are fine. It doesn’t feel that much better than the original design (seems to load faster, though), but it’s also not worse than the old one. I do appreciate the options to preview gliders and such now.
Elona seems the more likely option.
You may want to edit your title. The use of “Bots” in it makes it sound like this is a thread about bots (accounts using third party software to do things in-game) rather than about the training golems/NPCs in Heart of the Mists.
You should, at the very least, have one waypoint in each starting zone (Caledon Forest, Plains of Ashford, Metrica Province, Wayfarer Foothills, and Queensdale) available for you to use. Just press M, zoom out, and then find the unlocked waypoint in one of those zones.
You can also use the PvP Lobby, as Ryuk suggested, to get to Lion’s Arch. From there, you can take a portal to one of the racial cities.
You can also enter wvw by pressing B and selecting a map to enter. From there, you can use the gate to Lion’s Arch.
The Godskull weapons can’t be discovered. You have to buy and learn the recipes from the grawl heart NPCs in Fireheart Rise.
They won’t be able to just give you the item. You’ll have to wait until it’s available on the gem store.
They could name it to refer to both the desert and dragon. For that I suggest the name Sandy Claws.
Jack Skellington might sue.
When I’ve made mistakes like that in the past, support was very helpful and sent me the proper replacement recipe (after I destroyed the recipe I accidentally bought). So, as long as you were polite and all that, I’m fairly certain they’ll be able to help you.
That being said, you make a LOT of assumptions about other players which are either:
a.) offensive
b.) pure speculation
c.) cliche
d.) outlandishsuffice to say, your world view is not all defining. Maybe take a deep breath, drink some tee, and stop attacking people for how they decide to play the game and spend their gold/money.
If you did some basic research on how much real life money gets spent on digital goods from MMOs you’d realise how off base you are and not in touch with reality.
Yup, all of this.
I used mine on my main the same day I got it. I had/have enough tomes to never have to worry about leveling, and I really wanted use of that shared inventory slot. :p
I know this isn’t really on the topic of a “schedule” but does anybody here know when the last time Belinda’s greatsword went on sale and how often it shows up on the cash shop? The wiki doesn’t say anything other than the fact that it released in 2014.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Gemstore-items-new-sales-discounted-prices/page/10
This thread is updated when items go in/out of the gem store. Looks like the last time Belinda’s Greatsword was up was at the end of April.
Links are always helpful, rather than simply suggesting there’s one… But no matter I’ll search every tab (Crtl+F, very helpful for searching fast)
[Update]
Search tool is broken and needs to be fixed.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Searching-the-Forums/first#post4701411
That’s the Sticky in question, if you’re interested. And yeah, they know it’s broken, but they can’t fix it/ don’t plan to fix it anytime soon.
Stickies? Sorry but stickies would also be hit simply by using the search engine.
What Inculpatus means is that the forum search doesn’t work properly. So, searching for threads on the forums via the search bar won’t work for you. And there is a Sticky discussing the fact that the forum search doesn’t work.
you miss my point. the seller not being on anets list is a pretty good reason to avoid them. yeah it can work, but buyer beware. if you get screwed even once and they take your money, you would have been better off waiting for a lesser sale from anyone that anet backs up with the guarantee of “you wont get screwed”.
You’ve missed the point… of what you attempted to infer. You’ve attempted to state that it’s not a “grey” market. It obviously is a “grey” market. Why? because it’s not offically endorsed by Anet. If you’re going to take a shot and troll, do a better job!
look a gray market with a really good deal
buyer beware
but look it worked for medoesnt make it not a gray market
He didn’t attempt to state that the website is not a gray market. He said that the site is a gray market, despite anecdotes from people who successfully bought from the website.
I can’t really comment on your log-in troubles because I don’t have that issue. But perhaps someone else will be able to help you there. But submitting a ticket anonymously doesn’t take much longer to get a response than submitting one while being logged in. Or at least it hasn’t made a difference in my experience. Just make sure you give as much information as possible.
So, you’ve not reached 15,000 AP from your dailies and monthlies? If so, then yeah, all you an do is wait for a support reply.
99% of the time the reason is that the player has hit the Daily/Monthly Cap (15,000 AP from dailies and the old monthlies combined). So, check your AP amounts from those.
Account issues? Support response time comical
in Account & Technical Support
Posted by: RoseofGilead.8907
As Blude says, a 72 hours is the typical response window. Most people will get a response before reaching 72 hours, though. As for why your first ticket got a response after 3 hours but the second one is taking longer, it could be a number of reasons (ticket backlog, case #2 requires more investigation time than case #1, today being a holiday in the US, etc.). The best we can do is just be patient.
As for why your account might have been suspended so quickly after applying HoT, the reason I most often see is that the player bought their key from G2A or another sketchy third-party site.
That’s awesome! Great work there. I’ve always been kind of “afraid” to work with fondant. One day I’ll give it a go, though.
I farmed rep to get one of those on my Warrior, even though I didn’t like how it looks. I wouldn’t object to it being added to GW2, but I definitely wouldn’t spend lots of gold or gems on it. :p
Waypoints are boring as kitten. We don’t even have a cool animation like in ESO.
So yeah, one WP per map and other means to get around: mounts, ley lines, hell even old fashioned “cabs” that fly or ride you to your destination would be cool. Takes longer but you can go afk in the meantime. I loved that in Wildstar and WoW.
I’d rather have instant travel so I can get to my destination quickly. I hate how long it takes to travel great distances with WoW’s flightpoints.
Dune(s)
We going North, to Vabbi! would be a good title.
Only if we’re able to earn the title “The Only Sane Person in This Universe”.
There haven’t been any new dungeons because Anet decided to focus on Fractals for 5-man group content rather than devote more time to the existing dungeons or creating new dungeons.
So, if you want small group instanced content that is given occasional updates, then Fractals is what you should go for. Each Fractal follows a brief story of an event that happened or will happen at some point in the history of the world of Tyria. Some are even shortened versions of past dungeons or living world events.
If you want larger group instanced content, then raids (which added after HoT) also exist. Raid stories, so far, have given supplemental details on story bits established in the main pve parts of the game. So, there is definitely story there.
it does matter, i would like to know when i have immobilize on me so when im on my ele i dont waist 2-4 seconds of the down mist form not moving. same goes with chill or any movement impeding skills,
it doesn’t matter because the mistform is a stunbreak.
Mist Form is. Vapor form isn’t, as far as I’m aware.
I love silly hats. I loved them in GW1, and I love them in GW2. I don’t personally plan on buying the Aurene silly hat, but I’ve bought plenty of others.
1. Be sure that you submitted an actual support ticket. If you submitted your ticket in-game, then you only submitted a bug report. To submit a support ticket, click on the Support tab at the top of the forum pages. From there, you can submit a ticket.
2. If you did submit actual support tickets, check your email’s spam folder to make sure it didn’t accidentally get sent there. You should have been sent a confirmation email shortly after submitting your ticket, so check to make sure you got it. Also, close your two most recent tickets; multiple tickets will delay your response time.
If you look at the wiki page, there are cats that simply fight other cats, not with snowballs:
Even the ones that are fighting without snowballs are still just play-fighting (which is normal, non-hostile behavior in cats and many other species). Again, no damage is being done to the cats, no blood, and no angry cat sounds.
If there was that much of a nerf recently, you’d think that there’d be an uproar in the Thief subforum or on the GW2 reddit.
(edited by RoseofGilead.8907)
The cats are play-fighting (with snowballs); there’s no hissing, no damage being done to the cats, no blood, etc. My real-life cats do the same kind of play-fighting (sans snowballs because we live in the south). I think it’s cute. That being said, I wouldn’t be against an option to toggle on/off certain animations or actions in our home instances.
Yeah, that’s just some third-party seller doing something weird. I wouldn’t try buying anything from that seller.
That listing is through NCSoft. I’d opt for that one.
1. As the others said above, the Pact Mastery doesn’t affect wvw. You have to put points into Supply Master to unlock autoloot in wvw.
2. You can take a screenshot by pressing the Print Screen button on your keyboard.
How about 5 of the BEST maps!
There’s a thread for that. https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/FAVORITE-GW2-maps/first#post6623668
As was said above, the only achievement that will give a Vision Crystal is the Dungeoneer achievement, which you get for collecting every armor and weapon piece from every dungeon. You can wait until you’re at your 30 day log-in reward; choosing Ascended Materials always gives you a Vision Crystal. I think salvaging certain ascended equipment (just armor and weapons, perhaps) can give you a Vision Crystal, as well.
