Yeah, in my experience it does auto-loot as long as you’re not dead (haven’t ever been downed as the chest appeared, so I couldn’t say about downed).
I really like the new map. At first I was grumbling to myself about “TD 2.0”, but once I got used to the map and realized it’s nowhere near as annoying as TD to navigate through, I started to really like it. I really like the new Mastery, too, especially when combined with gliding. That being said, it is seriously easy to get yourself stuck in a wall or a rock with the new Mastery. There are also a couple of places where you can accidentally find yourself outside of the map boundaries.
As far as the story missions go, I generally enjoyed them. The parts that were in the open world flowed nicely, and the final instance was really neat. The episode feels very, very short, though. The big reveal coming in the very first instance was jarring, as were the reactions of certain NPCs; hopefully, the next chapter and the coming expansion will shed more light on that, but right now, it just feels a bit disjointed and odd. I liked the mechanics of the fights in the first and last instances. I also liked the dialogue of this episode.
One last note with spoilers: I seriously loved that we meet up with M.O.X., particularly that he comes home with us and is now part of our home instance. It was also really neat to do the Zinn achievement and hear what happened to him.
Indeed, trial and error. The people who seek out the brand new content stuff spot the cats, look at the text given or the environment for clues, and bring any and every consumable they can think of to try to feed to the cat until it accepts something. Then, they tell other people (including Dulfy and/or people who update the wiki).

Your achievement points never reset. If you’ve hit the daily/monthly AP cap, then that’s that; it won’t reset.
Just out of curiosity, how much AP do you have? The pinnacle weapons don’t even become available until 29k AP. If you’re under that amount, then you might be mistaken about the pinnacle weapon.
As for the zenith weapons, check if they’re available for withdrawal in your Hero Panel.
I’d also just have to go with my main: human necromancer/reaper. But I’d also accept a sylvari necromancer.

No, it no longer gives character xp. It gives you wvw xp. But, like the pvp reward tracks, you earn Tomes of Knowledge from wvw reward tracks as you gain more wvw xp.
Mine doesn’t appear to be any different.

No. I may not care for how most of it looks, but I’m not going to stamp my feet and tell them to scrap years of work. Hopefully, next time they can/will take more player opinion on the looks of the armor.
Continue to wait for support to get back to you. In the mean time go ahead and do as suggested above: check your character’s inventory and bank, using the search bar to help you. We’re really not trying to be patronizing or talk down to you here, but 9 times out of 10 a missing item isn’t actually gone but is instead found in our inventory or bank. It’s really easy to accidentally double click on something and accidentally equip it/send it to the bank; I’m sure everyone (myself included) has done it at least a few times.
As a side note, a weapon with a major sigil of smothering sounds like a CoF exotic weapon (either obtained from the dungeon vendor or from the CoF pvp reward track). So, if you’ve traded in CoF tokens or gotten the weapon from a pvp reward box, that could be where the weapon came from.
During the first AMA related to raids, they bragged about how small the team was and that the process was so efficient that it had little impact on resources that could have been used elsewhere in the game. Im just pointing out the anecdotal evidence to the contrary. They can’t downplay the effort in one breath and turn around and talk about how much work they put into it with another.
I could be wrong here, but I’m fairly certain that the Raid team is not the same team that created/developed the legendary armor. Regardless, a team can be small, not have its work bleed into other teams and resources, and still have a LOT of hard work to do
I don’t think it’ll ever be released. It was found years ago, and many of us have begged for it since then. No dice.
My question is, will legendary armor become a requirement if we want a greater stat boost? or is it minimal like for ascended gear?
I need t know because i’m using exotics armor and weapons and i don’t want this power creep to nullify my stats.
The stats for legendary armor will still be the same as ascended armor, just like with weapons.

As said by Linsey herself, this is not a project that takes top priority (or even top 5 list of projects priority). She decided to start looking into and working on this as a side project. It was never promised as being completed anytime soon. So, while we’d love to have it done ASAP, she has to work on the top priority projects first.

Typically, it can take up to 72 hours for a response to a ticket. Usually, however, response times are pretty quick (within 24 hours). As for a refund, if you bought the game directly from Anet, then a refund is an option. If, however, you bought from a third party, then you’d have to take it up with that seller.
As nottsgman says, you don’t have enough Central Tyria Mastery Points to unlock the last tier. You’re still gaining exp, but your bar will show you as full because you’re still “training” that last tier; once you get 3 more Mastery points, you can complete that tier and then choose a new Mastery to train up.
As someone suggested above, you can earn some more Central Tyria Mastery points by doing the old Living Story Season 2 achievements, as well as some other achievements.

got all the maps explored, got 2.222.500 experience, unlocked all the masteries with 6 points already into Legendary crafting, got 6 more points to spend , but there is a padlock now on this mastery (also on my maguma masteries which I started.
So, yes I am already doing lots of masteries, No I am missing no maps, my XP bar just disapeares in some of my (already known) maps.

We weren’t asking if you’d done map completion; we were just asking which maps make your XP bar disappear.
It would really help if you could post a screenshot of your Mastery tab in your Hero panel. That way we could get a better idea of what’s going on.

What Yargesh said. If you pres ESC, you’re given a list with “Support” as an option. If you click on “Support”, it brings you to the bug report window, which has “Contact Customer Support” in large letters at the bottom. No, you can’t submit your CS ticket in-game, but clicking on the provided link takes you to the page where you do that.
What do you mean when you say it’s locked? What tier have you gotten to in the Legendary Crafting mastery? Do you have Central Tyria Mastery Points to use to unlock the next tier? If you have the time, uploading a screenshot of your Mastery tab in the Hero Panel might help us see what might be going on.
As for your experience bar, in which maps do you see it “disappear”?

As for “why”, probably because most festivals tend to be put in and end around that time.
Yeah, I would do what Stitch said. Make sure no one in the party is in combat. If everyone is out of combat but your friend still doesn’t get the pop up to respawn, then everyone else should die to try to force the pop up for everyone.
Also, for story missions, never, ever waypoint to somewhere outside of the instance because you’ll never be able to rejoin your party. You’re able to rejoin your party in dungeons and raids, but you can’t do it for story missions.

Well, the month of “new gem store sales every day” was March. But the gem store is “updated” every Tuesday, sometimes with new items, sometimes with old items brought back, and sometimes with discounts. And Anet will sometimes have sales based around certain holidays and such. So, really, you can never tell if an item is about to go on sale or not. If you do buy an item at full price, only to find that the item has a discount applied to it a day or two later, you can contact support to ask for a refund of the extra amount you paid. As long as the original purchase isn’t, like, a week or a month before the discount change, support is pretty accommodating when it comes to that kind of stuff.

Likely an accident, where an in-progress update was pushed too soon. Episode 5 will be an important one, likely following up on Marjory investigating Lazarus. It’s also the more optimal time out of the 2 assumed to be remaining episodes, if they were going to reveal a trailer like season 2 did.

Anet didn’t understand that the Occupy SAB riots was a huge chance for them to show they cared and are listening to the community.
Instead they took it as an insult. Another company like Blizzard would have jumped on that opportunity and give us more than we asked for (example make a SAB DLC with different modes including competitive areas), which is why they have so much success.
When people are telling you “take my money” you should understand that you have a good idea in your hands.
I’m not sure how Anet took the “riots” as an insult. I don’t even remember much of a response from the devs when it happened. Regardless, I think you’re overestimating just how many people 1) participated in the “riots”, 2) want to see SAB made permanent, and 3) would actually hand over real cash to buy it as a DLC or other cash item.

Read the info in the link you posted. It plainly says “Access to the full Guild Wars® game and Guild Wars: Eye of the North® expansion via downloadable client.” And, having bought the Platinum Edition myself, I can also confirm that the Platinum Edition does NOT include Factions or Nightfall.
Also, the Amazon link you posted also clearly says that it only includes Prophecies (Guild Wars: Game of the Year) and EOTN; scroll down to Product Description to check for yourself.
Just for the record, I just did world 1/zone 2, and I got credit for the daily. Keep in mind you need to stay in the cage/boss area after the boss dies and that you can only get credit on normal or tribulation modes. I can’t comment on whether or not the bauble achievement is bugged, however, because I did it last year.

Hi, I started out with Guild Wars and then got Guild Wars 2 to be able to do something with my son who lived 6 house away by car. I love it and I am a 74 year old lady. I play everyday, even if it is just to do dailies. Both my son and his wife play and now I have a niece who I got into it. She was a WOW person, but likes Guild Wars 2 also. I wish more olesters would get into playing. If you are living alone, it gives you something to do and is fun.
I just want to point out how great it is when multiple generations of a family get into games together this way. I love it.
