If you really want to make Empathic Bond with icon, timer, sound alert and such things, at least make it so 3 conditions get cleansed every 10 seconds when pet is active instead of transferring them, or give pet that cleansing too.
How Empathic Bond could be visible? It’s kind of already when you tab between the player and the pet. It’s not really necessary IMO, as you can clearly see when they’re transfered.
The only thing you could possibly change is add a timer – BUT if you do this to EB, you have to add a timer to multiple other things and… it would be even harder to follow.
And, as a bonus – don’t you think that the change to FT would overbuff the AA a little bit? In my opinion, it’s far better to greatly increase the damage of Flame Burst’s explosion since it takes a good amount of skill to actually pull off against moving opponents.
Another thing – such things like Hide in Plain Sight are meant to be surprise. If you add some kind of visibility to it, it kills whole reason why people would take it (tbh, they don’t anymore). You also skipped similar things like Cloaking Device or things like Transmutation on Engineer, Balanced Stance trait proc on Warrior…
You see, I get you want to make this game competitive etc. by making everything visible…
But this game’s UI isn’t ready for it, same with mechanics. You may end up with everything visible under portrait, but you won’t be able to see what is actually important.
Honestly, I have nothing against most Engineers. I just feel like the condi setup with P/S is too strong for that much lower skill floor and “safer” play.
From my experience, celestial Engi with rifle is rather fine, zerk builds – even more. Just objections against P/S “Spamgineer”.

Not Greatswords. Come on, don’t turn it into some kind of manga.
As for the animations, it seems like first full cleave for Necro, maybe.
You can always switch Nades with Bombs….
But I doubt it solves your problem

Skyhammer and EotM are the best places for funny jukes.
My favourite is just activating SWalk, jumping down the cliff and porting back. 90% of playerbase gets too close to the ledge if you fake your suicide jump. It would be shame not to fear them from behind

I don’t think there are condi comps considerable as any meta to keep up with those shared cleanses and healing unless you pull one ele out and focus heavily.
As a bonus, they will also do heavy sustained damage and won’t die easily. Not many weaknesses.
Redesigning, redesigning. None of the professions will be redesigned. But you can expand core mechanics. That’s my proposal, because Adrenaline mechanic is not finished yet imo.

I would say necros already have definite resource management regarding life force. Death Shroud is a powerful tool, and its use greatly separates the great necro players from the bad ones.
Sorry, but Life Force being just another poor version of “2nd Life bar” isn’t resource management for me. What about situations when you’re capped at LF in PvE world as a condi necro and you simply have no reason to use your profession’s mechanic apart from fear flash maybe?
#6-#0 DS skills added, using Life Force as a resource, #1 can be boosted/alternated by consuming LF. Lower total amount of LF, highly boost LF generation, get some ideas for siphons from necro community.

1. F1 depends on your MH, let F2 depend on OH.
2. Second adrenaline dump opens up phleora of new tactics, possibilities, new traits when remaining very simple.
3. While F1 should be/remain as a offensive burst skill, F2 should take an approach of survival/support/control/positioning skill.
4. It adds an element of choice for our poor Warriors.Too complicated for new players.

If they make Kraitkin a staff instead of that current kittenty legendary, I declare, I will go for it.
I just feel that Devs brought that profession to some level and then got lost.
There are multiple directions that profession could go. But to be viable, when staying at the short end of stick with no vigor, dodging, boons, blocking or mobility (i.e. things that every other profession has) it would require unique mechanics and systems, similar to things like Hexes from the first game, for example or resource management with Life Force.
Necromancer isn’t bad and it can bring havoc, like any profession, in hands of decent player, but:
1. It lacks direction, still standing at crossroads,
2. And it fails at the core of the game, which is 5-man combat, whenever it’s 5v5 team clash in PvP or dungeon
Tl;dr : It’s not in as tragic situation mechanic-wise as Ranger or maybe a Warrior (huge lack of depth and choice in there), but it needs some serious development and ideas.
Don’t hate the entire profession. Hate specific builds if you have to.

Not like you’re wrong. Most of the training golems in HotM don’t fight back and are quite easy to solo, indeed.
I disagree about Vitality not being that worthwhile for Necromancer, especially roaming one and Power.
It not only boosts up your survival vs. Condition spammers (who you will face 90% of time in T1 EU roaming for example), but also affects the amount of Life Force you get. It’s not minor, believe me. If you rotate right, that Vitality will give you more defense than Toughness in 1v1s and roaming.
Many ask me why do I run Runes of Speed in PvP. Well, that’s the reason. And I save my skills for when they’re necessary.
As a bonus I will tell you that Staff isn’t necessary for Power necro at all, it all comes down to your playstyle. I like fast-paced Necro with high single-target burst so I run Axe for example.

If you’re LB Ranger with SotF I highly reccomend Sigil of Ice on Longbow.
Necro isn’t “safe” pick in tpvp, as you have to take care of it and play around. So why shouldn’t you pick another self-caring Ele? That is, I believe, just the logic of EU teams.
Not like it’s invalid. Why should you risk when playing for top rewards or scores?

Sure there will be a drop.
But, being perfectly honest, the only playerbase which may leave for longer period is PvP playerbase. PvE one will dig through the majority of content in 3 months. Then there will be 2-3 months of PvE stagnation in WoW when players will return to their previous games untill the new content patch hits. It’s been like it for a loong time.
So don’t worry about PvE. Worry about even smaller PvP community.

I believe it can be players who usually zerg and maybe don’t run many self-cleanses because in blob gaurds and shout warriors take care of it.

Ranger is op. After 30 min playing i play ranger better than i play ele after 2k hours.
You know nothing about the Ranger, Jon Snow. Every fotm 30-min-rdy2go roller is ready to be roflstomped by any good Ranger player.

They are reducing the speed of rapid fire by 200% and renaming it sloth fire. They are also adding a laser pointer so engineers know when they are being targeted. :-)
In fact, in the first game there was a bow skill named Sloth Hunter’s Shot. Pretty legit one, I might add.

Actually, that’s a pretty legit idea!
Another thing would be making the Putrid Explosion ground-targeted skill so it could do better job as Blast Finisher too.
But “frienzied rat charge” is probably better when it comes to dealing damage.

Not OP, but if you’re Master race, use Shadowplay.
Also, I don’t suggest Hydromancy sigils. If anything, Sigil of Ice on bow or putting that Hydromancy on the bow.
The reason for that is simple – Hydromancy sucks after April update and that chill doesn’t help with anything. You want your target slowed when you swap to ranged weapon, not when you swap out of it.

Not much I can complain about. Pretty good use of bow, you remember that TU isn’t a burst heal, decent dodges. Try to time your sword a little bit better and spam less after swapping to it. Also, diselect target after 1st part of Sword #2.
If you’re looking for new ideas for builds, try going for full Power LB with Trapper runes (Frost+Snake in this case I think). You’ll get much better kiting.
I don’t know the very specifics, but I’d maybe change couple small things;
-Judging from your playstyle, Spectral Armor instead of Walk would be probably the better option,
-You seem to focus a little bit too much on Staff weaponset,
-If you’re going hybrid and taking Reaper’s Might, I would take D
huumfire also,
-From my experience, Near to Death works the best with high risk/contact focused Power Necro. In this case, Soul Marks or Spectrals CDR would be better choice imo,
-I see you use BiP. As much as I adore this cool skill and have sentiment from GW1… I can’t see those 10 might doing enough to be worth taking,
Besides, nice video! Always cool to see Axe in action and someone not necessarily blowing all cooldowns and fear chain to kill some PvE buddy in record time

Don’t mess up PvE mechanics with PvP rules.
It’s a specific thing that you can do against specific mob.
Besides, if you want to counter gapclosers, I would start from blinks and shadowsteps to be honest. Leaps are at least very visible and have proper counters.
To be quite honest, there is plenty of old Guild Wars 1 skills that are adapt-able and ideas behond them which are perfect interesting ideas for “spines” of new incoming skills. Also, it’s a book of cool skill names.
Keep in mind that many GW1 skills were copies of existing skills (campaign requirements) or worked like “rock/paper/scissors”.
Just an example of Necromancer skills:
The problem with it is that Replica has kinda very few quotes in pvp.
Besides, if esportz are the problem, just mute the backpiece for other players and make pop-up chat sentence only visible for one with Replica equipped.
Judging from your playstyle, I can tell that you could throw Trapper runes out and get Kraits.
You put all of yours traps down and sit in revealed, missing on stealth.

If an item I buy doesn’t work correctly in any area of the game, you HAVE TO highlight it before the transaction!
Replica Tron backpack is said to be sort of “talking” backpiece. And it works in PvE and WvWvW.
But not in PvP during matches. And since I primarly play pvp these days, I wanted to use it there. Sadly, it’s silent as a rock. Worthless item for me.
I’ll probably ask for refund.
