Really, I’m surprised more people haven’t investigated this. We have the ability to craft invisible bags in the same profession as makes shoes. Seems like a likely link.

We have players that have obtained some new HoT weapons (Auric), which are also not showing up in the API. Something is happening in the back end.

How is any of that bad?

That perhaps is not. It’s when a cartel (which may be just one player, but can be more) decides to corner a market and drive sell offers out of the known universe that constitutes a problem.

Did you BUY the tier one helm, or did you get it from the level 20 Personal Story Reward? Most likely, you got it from the Personal Story reward. Go buy the helm from the vendor, and you should then have 13/18.

To clarify, it’s chest armor, not helms, that you get from PS.

Do not destroy them. Instead, enter PvP with them, and they will be used automatically.

These chests used to contain rare skins for weapons and armor, and were only good in PvP. The functionality was changed after the creation of the Wardrobe. Now the contents will be stored in your (otherwise unaccessible) PvP Locker and then duplicated over to your Wardrobe. At worst, you’ll get nothing new; on the other hand, you can get some things that are no longer available in-game, or would require you to shell out a lot of gold to unlock.

I agree with Nephar. Chances feel good that ANet will just add more identical-looking champ bags or reuse the old ones without updating the loot tables. The only reason to hold on to them IMO is if ANet decides to implement Hero of the People.

Add some armor/Weapon skins that are of a darker flavor.

Think skulls and demons, red gems and black chrome…without making them look like they are related to plants.

I would like to see some darker, more gritty outfits/skins… stuff that make my warrior look mean and kitten, and not like rainbow bright… stuffed animal backpacks, the legendary pistol, short bow and the staff are the antitheses of what I’d like to see.

You guys forget, Bunny Ears were Town Clothing. They were never an armor skin for you to purchase. Now that they scrapped the whole Town Clothing feature, and turned most Town Clothing into Tonics, a lot of those old items are unavailable now.

In order for them to “come back”, they would have to make a new version of them.

The best source for these are Dust Mites in Silverwastes. Not only do they have a decent drop rate there, but you can also boost your magic find via Perseverance (and as an actual drop, the MF will actually benefit it).

That one in dry top that you have to do blind is pure cancer though.

Scout out the pond at the landing spot before you go up. Place a personal marker there on the map (alt-click). Now you know what you have to hit.

This also works great for those Edge of the Mist jumps, as it’s pretty easy to lose sight of the buckets after teleporting up the tower.

One more tip: add swiftness before you jump. It’ll help you get away from obstacles. This is particularly helpful with the Dry Top jump.

First, you shall refine as much orichalcum and gossamer as you can, to save discover xp for later in the process.
