Now, before anyone says anything, yes, I know I shouldn’t care at low level. But I like to look good, so sue me.
Now, question is, are there any buyable armor skins? Aside from gem store and transmutation charges. Something more like the backpack skins, that I can just buy with my coins.

You can buy skins in WvW with badges of honor, but not as far as I know, there are no skins you can just buy with coin, aside the ones on the TP for hundred’s and thousands of gold.

I have the list. It’s fairly short and uninteresting, as far as gold is concerned.

You want Heavy armor, so here is what you have available:

Gold: Cultural armors (expensive at Tier 3), Chainmail (absolute most basic), Vigil/Priory/Whispers armors (require membership & level 80), Guild armor (chestpiece and backpacks only), Militia Gauntlets, Pit Fighter Helm, Heavy Plate (Gold+Badges of Honor), Carapace (gold + bandit crests + achievements)

Karma: Chainmail, Militia, Pit Fighter, Studded Plate, Dark Templar, Armageddon (very expensive), Heavy Plate, Worn Chain (all but helm), Worn Scale Helm, Metal Aquabreather, Black Earth Aquabreather

of course, there’s also dungeon gear and crafted gear, and a couple of other guild backpack styles available for commendations alone

Given how many tridents and spearguns are just copies of staves and rifles, it wouldn’t take too much more effort to just make one more skin for spear and call it a day. It’d suck, but at least the set would be finished.

I just wanted to give ANet an attaboy for getting the main characters VAs back in the studio and providing some lines for our long-muted avatars. It’s nice to be talked with rather than at or around.

This should help with player engagement.

They were released once, ages ago, and never again. Powertraders bought up supply and relisted it at ridiculous prices. Such is the life of a rare skin.

I know you used to be able to get this in PvP, but you can’t anymore. It’d be nice for some sort of confirmation that this is an exclusive PvP only skin that has no Mystic Forge recipe, or even confirmation that a new acquisition method will be added.

I’d be more than happy to contribute towards the research if we got a confirmation for this having an existing undiscovered recipe.

Most (all?) of the research done on this skin was done by me. I can’t claim to have done an exhaustive search, but the various resources I’ve used show only one instance of this weapon in the item database, and that being the PvP-only version. Unless ANet sneaked in another one at a much more recent date, it’s still not possible to get this.

There’s little reason to worry about making a legendary. The main component is hyper-rare and extremely expensive. Many players that have been here three years still don’t have one.

Can’t see as that will help. Don’t you still see their groups in LFG? You’d be bound to waste time reentering the same groups.

I’ve gotten exotics with less MF than what you have. But you’re approaching it wrong.

Magic Find affects drops.
It does not affect Not-Drops.
It does not affect the Mystic Forge.
It does not affect salvaging.
It does not affect gathering.
It does not affect crafting.
It does not affect chests.
It does not affect boss chests.
It does not affect champ bags.
It does not affect bags.
It does not affect sacks.
It does not affect most event-spawned enemies (which are altered to drop nothing at all).

In short, if you want your magic find to have any meaning, stop following the herd. Or play PvP.

Please consider tweaking the function of the Princess, Dragonite Ore eater. Average play generates more Dragonite Ore per day than she can consume.

Possible solutions:

1. Increasing the minimum and maximum use per day.
2. Allow consumption of multiple Dragonite Ingots per use. Generates a random number of Gunk-covered Pellets per use.
3. Allow consumption of either 50 Dragonite Ores or 50 Dragonite Ingots per use. Latter option generates an Ascended grade version of Gunk-covered Pellet with better rewards.

Please consider one of these or implementing other alternatives to better sink Dragonite Ores. Thank you.

Is this data-mining still on-going? Giant and Plant slayer achievement hunters could potentially benefit if you could find some lurking in dungeons or out in the overworld.

Unfortunately, the prevailing sentiment on this forum is that we have a checklist of dragons and we should be ticking it down at least once per year.

Not to mention more tabs with some very strange ‘prices’.

This has probably been answered, but I’m not sure if it has been directly. Do you need to equip the specialization to use its weapon?

Obviously, the two have synergy, but it seems pretty obvious that you don’t need to equip a greatsword to use Reaper traits; after all, you can swap weapons and go with daggers, scepter, and whatever. So how does it work going the other way?
