I’ve been dying to turn my ele into the same thing, but there’s no mail-style body pieces for light. Good choice though
There is no anti-farm code in this game, other than the fact that if you want it, it won’t drop often enough to be considered farmable.
q.v. Diminishing Returns for the GW2 equivalent of anti-farm code.
This thread makes me glad I got the wings when they came and went.

It is 6 levels better than any gear you would find with req lvl 18.
Considering you can’t even get rares at that level, it is actually about 8-12 levels better than available gear, depending upon the weapon.
I made completed GWAMM (god walking amonst mere mortals) Legaly about a week ago. It took a day, but after a day, the achievement was granted to my gw2 account. In the HoM calculator the 4 titles I farmed are not added yet though (9 days later I think).
Never had a problem with this. GWAMM is based on having 30 maxed achievements, but the HoM calculator only shows what has been registered with the monument of Honor. Are you sure you registered those titles on that character and got the little statues?
And as I stated in my last post, people are horrible at understanding probabilities. With a low enough chance you can get a significant percentage getting nothing while a relative few get a boatload given enough trys. That’s the nature of randomness. There isn’t a discernible pattern. There will always be “unlucky” and very “lucky”.
Everything else in these threads aside…Why is that a good thing to have in a game? (accounts that remain on the low end of the curve)

Since we’ve pretty well delved into aspects of player characters, I thought it might be worthwhile to do the same with enemies. Within reason, of course. Covered aspects could include:
Name
Level
Rank (non, Copper, Silver, gold, magenta)
Race (for sigil/potion interaction)
Affiliation (as above)
Armor values
Resistances/permanant boons
Attacks
Spawn Locations (map IDs)
Equipped skins
any other trivia that gets encoded that we don’t normally see.
Drop lists would be cool, but I’m not holding my breath
There’s more, over on her little desk there’s an open book that has a folded piece of paper in it that is also numbers in parentheses. The book is at least currently titled “Long Distance Relationships: 10 Ways to Make it Work.”

I didnt factor in each different stat per armor. So 23 different stat types over 6 different skins adds in an additional 828 different pieces, just for light dropped armor. And of course you have about the same for crafted armor, and all the named light armor. So that makes up for the rest, so 3000 isnt that All that far fetched.
You forgot item level and upgrade (rune, in this case). These also matter.
That said, there’s only about 5500 armor pieces of the right level to give silk, and that includes non-salvagables. His estimate of ~1000 or so silk-bearing armor pieces should be pretty good.

Best fit is probably Zealot. 2nd best Cleric.

I’d found a few undocumented consumables and was holding on to them in the hopes the API would pick them up. Guess I can use them

About 394 gold, if you buy each component at their current TP price (hint: won’t happen at those quantities).
You’ll save some G if you upgrade cores to lodestones. I think conventional wisdon is that you would get a better return on your skill points and laurels if you went other routes and then bought the lodestones, but that’s more involved than I have gotten.
Pommel style makes it more like a sabre or scimitar than katana.
Define: doesn’t do anything.
You click and it doesn’t get consumed? You click it and it is consumed, but nothing happens? You click it, you get a visual effect of some sort, but nothing like blinding or damage happens to the enemy?
Also, who sold the item?
I just noticed over a 100 gold was missing. Discovered the problem was the issue where you click sell instantly, and instead it lists your item for some random, way too high, amount. Yeah, 2 torn garments for 1,111 gold……. so yeah, my missing gold went to the listing fee for an item I never listed for an insane price that I would never list it for. GG
You would have had to have at least hovered your cursor over the price field and pressed 1 at least a couple of times to sell them for that much.

What I am hoping they will do is they will assign new id numbers to the new precursor skins and allow unlocking the Legendary to unlock ALL associated versions (old and new).
Unfortunately, I think that any change regarding precursor skin unlocks is going to arrive bugged in some way shape or form

Here’s the deal. Unintended consequences. This game has had way too many ‘good things’ backfire. Champ bags is the prime example. I’m not opening up the ONE GODkitten kittenING PLACE I go to for relaxation to even the possibility of it getting overrun by griefers. They will find a way. It always happens. An exploit WILL be found, and it WILL get run into the ground.
I can only say “Go to hell” so many times.

now what if thur was a system for crafting where you could choose the base weapon, for instance Lord Taeres’s Shadow, that has lore behind it. then choose to include which effects, like the steps u want, and turn it into a legendary.
since u got to choose some of the combination used, it’d be unique

Every Black Lion weapon skin paired with one of the NPCs has been reposted in the Gem Shop at least once. Including this one. It wil make a return at some point.

They didn’t. In fact, they took away easy access to a lot of exotic skins.
On the flip side, you get a free T1 cultural chest armor and a free faction weapon now.
Edit: the story is not ‘restored’ yet. That’s some weeks away.
Technically, you are supposed to get all skins in the promotion chain before the one you unlock when you unlock a skin. So, therefore, having the Legendary should get the new precursor skins when they appear.
However, this unlocking processes at the time of the unlock. Since the Legendary is already unlocked, there is nothing to trigger the unlocking of the new precursor skins.
I expect this to arrive broken, and we’ll have to make some noise about it.
Going on prior history, a change like this will not be announced before it is implemented. You’ll know when we all do.
(Bracelet gloves you say? I may change my mind on using it).

on which titles are attached to which achievements.
(Jeff Grubb) was in a photo recently from Rubi’s twitter. So he is at least still making contact with the office.
I don’t think these were the default armors, but I can’t really prove that one way or the other. The achievement chest free pvp skins was the most likely means of you getting them. If you got any of the rest of those armor pieces, congratulations, they are unavailable now.
