They are sitting on a quite a few unused/removed weapons and armours from PvP and other stuff. Pretty happy that they confirmed that some of them are coming back at some point.

I disagree, on the grounds that if they were going to put forge recipes in, they’d do it for more than one weapon. This one has been visible in the wardrobe, like the other HoT exotics like Ebb, Flow, Dandy Bluster, etc., and each of those is a dropped weapon.

Easily verified… if you killed this friendly rabbit, did a wurm immediately spawn?

Bolt effectively overwrites the damage type for many skills, but with most weapons it is usually the other way around.

Those Watchwork Sprocket merchants were removed after the first Pavilion, replaced with the final one.

Item isn’t in the API, and I’m not doing Sunrise, so I had no details to give.

The hint pretty much says you’ll have to get through the JP, and more than likely you’ll have to get to the diving platform, as it is the highest point. But that name ‘illusory’ gives me pause. The JP has several projectors placed around that emit holograms of rock walls. Look for these and try your Illuminator near them. There is a hologram projected beneath the dive point that will probably give you what you need.

The achievements are collections, which mechanically are locked behind certain criteria. Technically, the precursors themselves aren’t even part of the collections, they are the rewards you get for filling them. To unlock the first part, you need to buy the unlock from Hobbes.

Ah… I’m sure they knew exactly what they were doing when they picked it. I remember even suggesting tying a precursor to those 5 critters. They’re unique amongst the GW2 Bestiary.

Now, I’m just glad I’m not pursuing Venom :/

Acquisition method for this skin has never been determined, but its name suggests that it most likely was a part of the old PvP reward system.

A little history: I wrote that. I spent weeks trying to figure out how to make it, then a couple of months digging around for any kind of info I could find on it before finally finding it on a massive auto-generated list of ‘unreleased’ items. It is indeed labeled as a PvP weapon, labeled in the same way that other PvP weapons were labeled, and there were no other variants listed. Given the relative uniqueness of the skin, and the changes that happened to PvP ranking when the wardrobe was instituted, I conjectured that it was a Dragon-level reward from the forge, only available while there were no Dragon-level players in the game. So far, no one’s been able to refute it

Aside from the shape, the skin is little different from other Primordus skins. It glows. It smokes. Most classes just wave it at monsters rather than smack them with it.

It was not in the API yesterday. It is today. Someone found it.

More likely the thing drops from the KQ herself, which means you need to get kill credit on her before that becomes impossible. Join a party before she appears to increase your chances.

This kind of thing used to happen because a trait would activate for some reason or other, and when that happened, all your harvesting went to pot. Could this be happening in your case?

Yes. really. Maybe you hadn’t noticed, but there is a Lodestone type material for each element and each dragon (known prior to HoT). Essence is the one for Zhaitan.
