Before the buff it was fine because it only has 10% speed but now it seems more overpowered than it should be.
Actually it makes perfect sense when you consider the target to be a training dummy. I mean ele’s have cooldown on their AoE and thieves have initiative costs, whereas grenades are eternally spammable. On a stationary target that’s just steady and impressive DPS!

Hello Sentinel VX. I did what you suggested – my graphics are already at minimum settings but i also put my resolution down to the smallest full screen one available and still having the same problem!

The 30% dmg reduction should be implemented “AFTER” we can get the benefit from weapon stats otherwise this is just a plain nerf without any compensation.
30% dmg reduction for sigil effect is just not worth it, I prefer not having the sigil effect instead.
What makes you think they will not nerf it further when do add it? People are assuming this was done because of weapon stats. Those people are just trying to make an excuse that Anet could not be so stupid in thinking Granades were OP.
The fact that they didn’t nerf it more in sPVP which means the buffed it out in sPVP but nerfed it in PVE.
Since Anet thought so without testing it properly in PVE.

I was able to do it with my crappy laptop though.
Try to use best performance setting and smallest res available. If that doesn’t help then it’s definitely a problem.

You “DON’T” have to do it btw, you can just do 12 out of 15 for the title so whining that you “must” get the achievement is ridiculously stupid.

Seriously engineer need to be buffed up or even revise to change a lot of stuff to make it more playable on wider range of build especially in PVE. Lots of traits are still useless compare to other profession.

The problem is they have “NOT” implemented the stats yet which makes the 30% dmg reduction a huge deal.
And 75 dmg for skill 3 grenade at 3100 atk? seems useless to me.
Grenade also has slow projectile speed which should be compensate by high damage since mob and player in pvp can dodge it easily unless you are using grenade at point blank which bomb is better at.
Grenade is also useless at high level in dealing damage without the trait that increase the grenade by one.
I don’t even think it is very useful.
Sure it gives a lot of stats point overall, but 60 pt for every stats seems like a gimmick for me.
My group just killed the last boss but we didn’t get any reward at all the NPC didn’t even start the cutscene.
And you can see here there is no exit button either and the last boss already died.
With the trait that reduce the cd by 20% it should 8s instead of 10s, but I’m still getting 10s cooldown instead.
The other skill has the proper cd, only “volley” skill is bugged.
It has happened to me sometimes, but not always like this.

You can use any utility skills that provides you a “Stability” to immediately wake up from getting knocked down by scavangers.
You can see the animation if the scavangers is about to leap, you have time to dodge away from them.
Wrong, a guardian with “Stability” shout can’t immediately wake up their team mate by granting “Stability” to them while they are downed, stunned, etc.
Stability only works when you are not downed or stunned and not all profession has skill that grants stability.
Only skill with"Break Stun" attribute can wake you up instantly from knockdown and any other CC skill like stun. Every profession has this break stun skill although not everyone use it though.

Yes it is frustrating at first but there is somekind of “Warning” before the scavanger leap to you and you can dodge it or stay away from it easily. It’s not like it can leap every 3 seconds anyway.

IF people want to do PVE content let them be, as long they are enjoying themself.
It seems like you are expecting everyone to do PVP/WvWvW.
GW2 is PVE centric game btw so expect more PVE content to be released especially at Christmas.
I like doing FotM because it’s fun, not because I want the gear.
Crafted/dropped exotic armor has equal stats with dungeon armor.
Beside the stats difference between rare and exotic is not much.

What I hate from this patch is the lacking of engineer fix, instead there are lots of unnecessary nerf for sPvP.
I mean seriously there are lots of bug for engineer that need to be fixed, instead of nerfing your guys should focus on those first.

They should give us to set a different button to use a siege weapon or to interact with other object.
Seriously there should be a way of getting vista even though there is a siege weapon on it otherwise people can grief the hell out of it.
This is one example why “f” as a universal button is a bad design.
EDIT: Just found a way to get the vista. There is a really small spot where the f button would allow you to view the vista.

Mine skill doesn’t work properly with reduce gadget cooldown time. Mine toolbelt skill also doesn’t get reduce the cooldown by the “Tools” trait skill tree which reduce every toolbelt skills depends on how many trait point spend on the trait skill tree.
That´s a condition dmg build, the OP rather wanted some DD burst build I suppose.
But the question is, for what purpose? There are more than one burst builds, depeneding on usage.Edit: My bad, the thread has its Critical dmg part, sorry for that. Only the condition part was stuck in my head
I’m actually looking for SPvP or WvWvW where you fight people. D/D feels weak for me somehow since I’m only using skill 1 and 2 most of time or maybe I’m playing it wrong.

Why you only have 60 trait points spent?
If you want to deal high damage while still have some defensive stats, try knight gear. It has power+precision+toughness, but it will dumb down your crit damage.
My alt thief just hit lv 80 last week. I like thief for being able to do a burst damage with crit very well. I’m still unsure which weapon is the best one(for melee) to use crit build.
Most of my equipment already has precision and crit damage so equipment doesn’t really matter.
People are finding some traits as useless because of the long CD, I agree that they should rethink the CD of some traits not only for guardian traits as well.
thanks for support guys, yeah i saw there are many classes with more skills then a warrior, i played it for over 200 hours , i did much pvp on spvp ( rank 13 ) and WwW, i’d like to custom my gameplay much more, it’s just like one of you said, it’s not that one get bored, sure it can happen, but it must be a way to improve costumizzation, and sorry man but if you are only lvl 14 you still have not see even all skills in the game, at least reach lvl 80 and make some pvp, it’s not a critic, but you still don’t have all utlities skills and i bet you got even all weapon’s skill, and i think it’s normal, anyway if they would come up with an expansion it will be good, i’m not asking to put them immediately, but if arena net says “we ’ll put them” it’s just fine for me
@Sentinel read carefully, i’m not asking to increase the limit of 5 skills, i’m asking to increase the “maximum” number of skills, example, they put 20 more skills for 2h swords, beetwen those 20 weapon skills you still need to chose only 5 among them just to get more variety and costumizzation, think if you got 20 skills and you can choose only 5 maybe another player will not put the same skills like you, so if you find a warrior or an ingeener and see his weapon you can’t know what skills he is going to use.
I see, so it would be like customizable utility slot for weapon skills while still maintaining the 5 limit slots
In that case I don’t oppose the idea.

You kidding me? All dungeon sets are exotic and there is no such a thing like epic tier, I guess you never had any dungeon equipment before.
Elementalist with heavy armor? no thank you. That would ruin everything.
Human is boring, I mean we play as human everyday… unless female is not your gender ofcourse.
I enjoy doing dungeon with pug.
I like the fact that there is no gear treadmill which is the most thing I hate about mmorpg.
Also this is a B2P game so if you got bored just stop playing until next update or event.
Leveling from 0-80 is also the best experience I’ve ever had so making alt toon is also an option.
If you want more skills try engineer. They got 4 more toolbelt skills which is more than enough especially if you use weapon kit like grenade, bomb, etc which add even more skills.
I like the current 5 skills limit per weapon.
Too much skill is just ridiculous.
Precursor weapons are not unique skins. Using generic icons for them is perfectly fine. The off color mystic weapon icons do feel a bit sloppy, but you have to keep in mind, all those icons take up space. Icons get recycled in order to save space. I suspect it’s just like the issue with ranger pet names not being saved because of storage space issues.
Have you even seen any precursor in game? I guess not. They are all have unique skin which other weapons don’t have. The Colossus(hammer precursor) has its own unique icon for example. The Hunter(rifle precursor) has its own unique skin(tybalt’s rifle) but has a generic rifle icon.
They even put some new icons with halloween weapons and armors skin.

My thief critical build is also affected with this kind of thing…
I mean why can’t you get a crit hit with objects?
There lots of item that don’t even have their “unique” icon, even some precursor like dusk has a generic looking icon.
Mystic weapons icon also showing wrong colour which is more appropriate for CoE dungeon weapons. CoE dungeon weapons icons are more suitable for SE dungeon weapons.
Even some armor like exotic duelist set doesn’t have its own icon unlike the other exotic set.
This makes the game feel unfinished for me…
Order of whisper boots(medium) has an issue with the little knife part.
The right boots knife clips inside the legs, but not the right one.
Also the icon for inquest helm(medium) is showing a wrong icon, which is the sorrow embrace helm.
The one in PVP locker shows the appropriate one.

They could just slip in some files so we don’t have to download a lot of data later on.
Overall the event is really good.
One thing that bother me a lot is the lack of weapon/armor item/skin that you can “easily” get from the event. I know there are a lot of skins and items from black lion chest and crafting, but those are really hard to get for casual player.
There should be common, uncommon, and rare skins or items that you can get from the event or black lion chest. This will definitely let people to have some “souvenir” from the halloween event and not end up getting nothing after opening a lot of chest or running dungeon in hope of getting “very” rare item or skin.
Looking forward for the next event, hope there is another event for Christmas.

What are you talking about? You don’t even need to finish the puzzle for the achievement. You just need to attempt it.
There’s a clock-tower puzzle achievement for 10 points. You may be referring to the achievement where you have to find four places in the MK’s realm.
