i just bought 20$ worth of gems and got some rare greatswords to throw into the forge. I managed to get a dusk and as i was putting the other exotics i got back into the forge i put the dusk in by mistake too as i was side tracked at the same time. Is there anyway of getting it back? i have also submitted a support ticket.

I’m sorry but this game is too amazing to not have any endgame content.
Fractals and playing dress up isnt end game content.
The game was great, until I hit 80….now its boring, nothing to do.
I love crafting in any mmo, I usually horde mats and such. GW2 theres no reason to, why waste my time when all crafting is for is the nicest gear, but there is no reason to have it unless you want to run a 5-man fractal (5 MAN!?, might as well call it an expert dungeon)
There are too many games out there that have everything gw2 has and much more.
Devs need to figure out a way to keep people engaged at 80, fractals and playing barbie dress up is not it.
WE NEED RAIDS!

There already are raids like triple wurm, tequatl, jormag etc.

But yeah there’s no 20 man dungeons, although I think that would be fun. But not 20 man, more like 10 man or 15 man, that’s enough or it stops feeling like a dungeon.

I really, really hope we will get to see Underworld in GW2 some day.

Why GW2 has no mounts ?? Like horse , flying dragons or special mounts !! I mean imagine if you have a dragon in your items as a mount and every time you want to go somewhere you will be able to use it instead of walking or fast traveling which fast traveling is a perfect idea in a game but i think it will be more cool to have mounts !! Well there’s waypoints and skills that make you run 33% faster or 25% faster. Kinda makes mounts obsolete.

I prefer Dulfy’s guides though.

I was doing some research, and discovered that there are Precursors being sold for super cheap on the TP as I type! The image I’m attaching will shatter the mythos of Precursors being too expensive. These Precursors aren’t 2,000 Gold. Or 1,500 Gold. Or even 1,000 Gold. Amazingly, the price is between 90 to 115 Gold!!! How exactly did these deals go unnoticed for so long?

Needless to say i’m pretty happy with the loot I got.
I’m a heavy Black Lion Kit user, and those are very valuable for me (approx 2,5 gold per charge = 62,5gold per kit). Scraps and full tickets drop rate is a solid 1/3 and 1/40.

can you explain to me why black lion kits are so valuable to you ? I don’t get it. what do you mean by 2,5 g per charge an 62,5 gold per kit ? that’s not possible, you can’t sell them on the tp

My work gives recognition rewards in the form of gift-cards, and I used to always use them on amazon to buy gem-cards.

However, my last order on amazon.com last month said that they were out of stock, and they still haven’t received any.

Since this is the only way I justify buying gems and I wanted to get some before the next living story content comes out, can someone please look into why amazon.com no longer has the gem-cards available?

So I’m closing in on 300% MF. Will hit it by end of this week. So my question is what do I do with luck? Just destroy it?

A couple suggestions for devs.

1. Allow them to be salvaged into a mat like Piles of Crystalline Dust
2. Create a luck vendor that you can trade for items or different currencies
3. Allow luck to be vendored off for small amount of gold like junk items
4. Stop dropping it after 300% (Not my favorite choice, but still better than having to destroy it infinitely each time you salvage)

I just don’t see it happening. I think gw2 will be an expansionless mmorpg. I have a few points on why I think this.

1. Anet has invested heavily in living story.
From new technology to reworking their teams. I see this as a hint that anet plans to have the living story be their vehicle of choice for expansion content.

2. Anets statements.
They have never came out and said “no x PAC. Only living story”. But they seem to dodge the question when asked about it while reaffirming their belief that living story can deliver expansion content.

3. Gradually proving their point.
Everything you see in an expansion has already been put into the game. New zones, new traits, new abilities, new story lines etc. the only exception is new races really. Now the quality and quantity of these things is very debatable. What isn’t is that they have indeed added what many would believe to be expansion content to the game.

Soooo there’s my 2 cents. I would prefer a traditional expansion but I see a lot of people holding on to the hope of an x pac but I just don’t see it happening.

Now I could be wrong. I’m very aware I am one person with one perspective and by all means as soon as I post this a trailer could drop and I’ll look silly. So no flaming me in the event of that happening lol!

Anyways what’s your thoughts do you think there will be an x PAC?

I think they’ve been working on an expansion for 2 to 3 months now. It’s either an expansion or gw3. Either way, they’re definitively doing something because gw2 feels very still and neglected right now.

they will never go back to normal, all the gem prices and the gold to gem exchange is just gonna go up from here on out, i mean it’s been going up since the begining of the game

I bought GW2 for my husband in the spring of this year. (2014)
I had the intention of buying the game for myself and my two teenagers. I waited for a sale that happened recently, and purchased 3 more copies of the game. Now, we are unable to get into the TC server. I don’t care about WvW, but IF i did i would want to play with my friends and family, and the guild to which they all belong. The one i planned on joining. I am a Role Player. I don’t want to join another server. I want to be on the TC server. I spent the last week trying to get in. It is FULL. I made a rotation shift schedule and we checked it every 15 minutes for 72 hours straight Mid week. When I bought the game for my husband this was not an issue, had I know this was going to be the case, I would not have purchased 3 more copies of the game. I can’t afford to buy transfers for all of us, that’s why i had to wait for the game to go on sale. I submitted a ticket, i have heard nothing back. I don’t blame my husband for not wanting to switch to a different server, Toast is awesome and everyone we know is there. I blame Anet for mismanaging the server system. A few months ago there was a low population server crisis, now you CAN"T get in?
I want my money back. If i can’t play, why should I PAY?
What is the point of this? Am i the only person who thinks the new Mega Server system isn’t worth the issues it causes? What am I supposed to do here?

I’ve set up an Xbox 360 controller configuration for Guild Wars 2. Been using it since launch and tweaked it through the end of September, it’s about as perfect as I’m going to get it at this point.

I’ve posted my controller setup before, but made some recent updates to the Xpadder profile and some new things on the control scheme (untargeting, map zoom, etc), so I thought I’d post a link for those who’d like the update, and for anyone who hasn’t seen it before.

If anyone’s interested it can be found here

The configuration includes mouse turning (not keyboard turning) on the right stick, marking and taking targets, all skill buttons, and even cursor movement for ground targeting. I’ve used it successfully with every class, with the exception of Necro (not that it’s unsuccessful with Necro, I just haven’t played that class yet).

Feel free to download it and check it out. The new xpadder profile now includes a background image for the controller with the keymappings on top of their corresponding buttons to more easily remap the keys if you’d prefer to change the bindings.

rangers are so op now with a longbow and full zerk gear + traits

will they ever be balanced ? because they’re way too overpowered now

One option is to follow guide which will cost me about 90g.

Considering that I want to craft 3 or more ascended weapons, is there any other, cheaper way to do it?

IDK, but would not be possible to get from 450-475 with refining Empyreal stars?
I’ll also be making other Ascended materials which are needed for weapons….

it’s useful to get 10 levels, and then it’s useful to get the AP for it,but once ur 500 it’s pretty much just a useless gold sink

so i tried to overclock my gpu core clock and memory clock but it doesent seem to bother to boost clock the core clock speed but it overclock memory clock. here is a video :

Similar problem here. Before the feature pack I had 26/40 series 1 minis. I had 26 minis in my bank and after adding them to my collection the achievement shows 25/40.

Other bugs I noticed:
#1. The achievements for collecting series 1-3 are still in the General->Community category instead of being in the new Collections category.

#2. The achievements look exactly the same. We were told there would be “new” achievements and it sounded like new rewards for completing these sets.

#3. I am seeing 2 separate achievements for miniature series 1. As you can see in the screenshot 1 of them is showing 1 less mini than the other.

I also had at least 2 points each for series 2 and series 3 but it looks like they were reset. The reason why it shows I have 5 for series 2 is because I bought a couple packs from the gem shop (1 of the minis was a duplicate). I didn’t own the series 2 or 3 minis anymore since I sold them a while back, but as some had feared, we have to start all over for the achievements, meaning you have to get your hands on the minis you no longer own all over again.
